It wasn't outstanding performance by true entertainers The Manhattans came to work and work they did Frankie Beverly and that outstanding band They Call maze gave us a show of a lifetime they put their heart and soul into there Craft I would gladly go see them again

72 yr old Frankie kills it every time! Never get tired of seeing. His band always slay! Lead guitarist from Atl knows how to work a crowd and get you out of your seat! A

For Frankie Beverly to be his age he gave a wonder show, it also a wonderful experience to have seen the Whispers which happend to be the opening act. The twelve of us had a blast celebrating my niece's 21st Birthday over the weekend.

I am a huge fan of Frankie Beverly and Maze and I hate to say that this show was NOT his best. I personally believe, from looking at his tour date schedule, after I saw this show, that this event should have been planned for a later date so that his vocal chords could rest. He was obviously hoarse from the past two nights of performing and should have given himself some time in between dates to rest from shows on July 10th & July 11th. July 12th should not have even appeared on his schedule. Not to be forgotten was the fact that he just did the Essence Music Festival the beginning of July. As for his band, MAZE, they were FANTASTIC, especially his guitarist (young guy from NJ)! I've seen Frankie Beverly and Maze in the past and never sat down from the first song to the last. But not this time. However, I'm not giving up on him, but please note that the next time I pay for tix to see Frankie Beverly, I will check out his tour date schedule FIRST and FOREMOST to see if I am going to get a quality performance or not! And trust me, I'm sure Frankie recognized it himself. I was in the front row and the audience was quiet and watching him struggling with his voice. He couldn't even lip-sync. Yikes!

I have always wanted to see Maze and Frankie Beverly since my teenage years. I'm now 47 years young and just got to see one of the best groups that has ever performed in life. That was the best darn concert I've ever been to....EVER. The group sounded just like their records. Everyone there was singing along and they gave us some extra stuff too. I came expecting to be so far away because I had general admission tickets and was about an hour late, but the way House of Blues, Myrtle Beach, SC is set up, EVERYONE had a bird's eye view no matter where you were in the theater. I was so close I could touch the stage. There was room to dance and a bars on each side of me to get cooled down. Not only did Maze NOT disappointment me, but HOB had a lot to do with my having such a good time. I can't wait for my next favorite group to be there. I'm Ol'Skool.

This was my second time seeing Maze, the first time was three years ago and they were exceptional then. This show however surpassed my expectation and I can't wait to see them again in the near future. Louvenia

While I couldn't really get with Calvin Richardson constantly apologizing for being late (which nobody knew about until he mentioned it b/c the show started on time), Wayna was outstanding. Hadn't heard of her, but will be picking up an album or two. Frankie and Maze were amazing as usual! He talked more about the history of the band than I had ever heard which was very interesting. Great music, great venue, great crowd!

I truly enjoyed the performance of Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. It was my first time visting the House of Blues which was a very good location.

In the past 8 yrs, my husband & I have gone to around 6 Frankie Beverly & Maze concerts, outside. They're always quality!!! It was the first time ever attending the HOB and viewing them inside and we loved it! The sound was quality as well and the space is very nice. We look forward to visiting for the gospel brunch one sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With over fifty years in the business Frankie is still the best, bar none! I found the event to be as always standing room only, and the venue (HOB) is always great. Count me in on the next one!

I love the Venue I have seen Frankie 3 time since June in Myrtle Beach, Charleston Sc, and Roanake Rapid and Ronake Rapid hsas had the best setup and the food was great. I will also be seeing Frankie in Atlanta Georgia 7/24 and Richmond VA 8/14 if you have never seen a Frankie concert it is a must he shows are great.

The electricity in the air while waiting for Maze was magnificent. I have seen Maze twice in my life time and will never get tired of listening to them. Calvin Richardson was good but not one I would pay for a headliner. Now my girl Wayna... her music is great and a twist of the ecentric, jazzy, with a message..but I see her in a smaller venue. Overall, the show was wonderful and anytime you hear of Frankie and Maze coming to your area.. do yourself a favor...GO!!!!! whether it is the first or the 101st time seeing them.. You will not regret it.

The venue was not quite what I expected...in a huge, open field, but believe me...it came together. Maze was awesome! And Frankie Beverly's still got it!

ordered tickets from ticketmaster but had to wait at will card for 55 minutes, the wait for tickets was ridiculous........

Maze has never let me down and this time they were in the country of good old North Carolina........it was the first time Maze had been there and all loved him and the band!!!

the sitting was too close wayna was good but for that type of concert and crowd she was out of place,maybe she should have come on first the comedian should have come out in between acts to keep the crowd pump up

The show was GREAT. Frankie Beverly and Maze always gives you your monies worth and more. Once the group came out the crowd was on their feet until the end. If the group came back to NC next week. I would buy more tickets.

Great concert with a fantastic line-up of performers. Frankie Beverly and Maze were "off the chain", and so was Calvin Richardson. The host/comedian (can't remember his name) was hilarious! It was a great event! Glad to have gotten the announcement via e-mail regarding the concert.

I loved the concert! I am so glad I was able to take my fiance' to see one of our favorite groups of all time. And the tribute to Michael Jackson was a nice touch. If they never record another album, it would not make a difference. Their music will live on forever!

I have always attended Frankie Beverly's concert in Maryland but this one was the best of them all. I want all of them to come back again so I can get front row seats. I got my money worth!

I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Maze performed just like they did when I saw them at Constitution Hall in DC. I was simply amazed that I was seeming them in little Roanoke Rapids, NC. Did not appear to faze Maze at all.

This was our first Maze featuring Frankie Beverly concert. My husband who I met in college 28 years ago was a then fan, and he started me as a fan. Their performance was just remarkable and exciting; we loved every minute of it.

the show was fantastic the opeing acts were Phenomenal . Ted Mills GQ and the Comedian really added to the show. Frankie Beverly is an extraordinary entertainer by performing the music from the 70's and 80's proving that they still have a ever lasting quality in sound.

Maze & Frankie really took you to the times when real music (Instruments) was made, sung & enjoyed back in the day. That was the time when growing up was easy (although back then we thought is was hard :-).

Absolutely the greatest show on earth! I have seen a lot of entertainers but none like these guys. From the time he comes out on stage till the time he leaves, the crowd is up on their feet. At 72 this man still moves a crowd. No new record since the 80 s and the 90 s babies have made this an annual event as well. Frankie Beverly and Maze is truly the greatest band ever.

There were no dull moments from beginning to end. Big Pokey played the crowd perfectly. Monica did a sweet tribute to Whitney. Frankie Beverly was everything that they've always been: perfection! I loved that he took a moment to explain the band's close connection to Baton Rouge.

I flew from LA just to see Chaka. She never disappoints. She had the People on their feet. Soared through all those highs. Well worth the 4 hour flight. I didn't stay for Maze.

Maze and Chaka were great excellent combination the old school music rules keep bringing them types of concerts back i go to maze concerts every time they come to town

I purchased the tickets more so for my wife as a birthday gift because she is a die hard Chaka Khan fan just like myself, but I'm a die hard Maze & Frankie Beverly fan, so this worked both in our favor. Chaka's performance was top notch from the opening rift of "Do You Love What You Feel" to the last classic "Ain't Nobody". Frankie Beverly, to still be able to go out and give a very energetic and high vibe performance still at the age of 70 and the band to still give the fans 100% worth of their spent money in performance is amazing!!! I look forward to whenever these 2 legends of R&B music come back and perform!!

I loved this show, from beginning to end. Lenny, Betty and the Whispers did a great job. Then Mr. Frankie himself, came out and bought the house down. It was definitely an old school party. Love it.

The concert was lit! All the acts did they thang! I just don't understand the people who come to these concerts and expect that no one in front of them is going to be standing up, partying, enjoying the music!!! Sit down??? Really?? No I'm not going to sit down. We're not at the opera or the ballet! Hello!!!You're at an R&B concert party. You should expect some or most people are going to be standing up at any given time. Even the acts themselves ask you stand up!!! If you wanna sit down all night like a bump on a log, that's fine. But if you're sitting behind me, too bad, so sad! Get yo behind up and party!!!

This event was top of the line on my list , truly a great concert from the beginning until the end . Great line up I was very pleased .

This was an amazing concert. The entire front section on the floor we danced from the time Frankie Beverly hit the stage until it was over. Tank was amazing. He even came out on the floor while Frankie was performing to watch the show. He and his entourage appeared very welcoming to the crowd. Genuine still looks great and performed very well.

Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly is a show everyone need to see. This show on 06/3/2016 was Awesome Sauce., More and More people under 30 are flocking to see Maze. Gladys Knight was very good as well, she did an Awesome job. I can't wait until next year or next month when they return to Georgia. Facebook was on fire with post concerning the show. We have a Facebook page we post to under the name Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly. Chastain's facebook page had alot of post as well. The show was Great !!

I enjoyed entertainment from all three artist. This was my first concert. I was mostly amazed by Charlie Wilson's performance with his ban and dancers. He really made the show.

I bought these tickets for my mom's birthday in February. When she opened the tickets, she started singing or shall I say remixing all their songs. It was just the smile on her face that let me knew it was the BEST GIFT I have ever given her. I knew she was going to enjoy this night. Well, April 1, 2016 will be a night she will never forget.

Concert was spectacular! Every time I see them it's like the first time but better. Truly gifted artists in every aspect. Mr. Beverly truly gives us 200% every time. I will continue to be a fan and support. Loved it! Lyfe Jennings was a surprise for me because I had no idea he'd be there. He was awesome.

This was my fourth Frankie Beverly and Maze show of the year. This was the grand finally. The show was awesome. I truly love their music and their live performances. If you have never seen a Maze show, you never seen the way music was meant to be played.

I've never been to a concert. For this to be my first one it was amazing and I really enjoyed myself. Looking forward to the next one

The sound was terrible. Loud and distorted. You had hoped that they would have made some adjustment during the first act (Kem) but the loud and distorted sound continued throughout the evening. The only thing clear and acceptable was the sound between the acts when bits of hit records were played and when the comedians were performing. After attending hundreds of shows over 40 years, this was the worse show I have ever attended because of the sound.

Ain't nothin' like dwelling in the land of MUSICIANSHIP, baby! Frankie and the band were outstanding! And let me say, right off the bat, that for those folks who are concerned about Frankie's past voice issue, I'm here to exclaim that Mr. Frankie's voice has returned smooooth and STRONG, even taking it so far as to hitting and sustaining notes! (cheese) And the sound/acoustics in that venue are superb, just radiating throughout your entire being! You could really feel the music! We (the crowd) were just so incredibly happy and up dancing unbridled even in the aisles, so oh yeah you go Frankie and the band! (clap, clap, whistle) I also love to have all of my senses tantalized so I really enjoyed the beaufiful background images that would flash on the screen during each song! All in the house were experiencing a bit of history in the making, too, in that, sadly, Maze's show was the last live show to be played at the Gibson Universal Amphitheatre because they are closing their doors in September 2013! I'll conclude by saying, if you haven't attended their show this year yet, put your two steppin', dancin' shoes on and RUN, don't walk to Maze's next concert, but just don't get in my way when they hit Ontario, CA in November, because uh huh, I plan on being marked present right there in the land of Maze-sicianship, yet again! (cheese)

The show was outstanding as usual. Frankies is amazing. Kem was great and my first time with the Isley and they need a show by themself to give us all of the great music from the past up until now. I've been bragging everyday on how great the show was.
