Unsure what to expect when we went. He put on an excellent show having brought some exotic animals from the Columbus Zoo along. He also showed some film clips and bloopers from his TV program. Entertaining and informative 90 minute show. Would definitely go see him again.

Jack was the most personable and interesting person. We met him at the VIP meet and greet. He was so friendly, took pictures with us and autographed my husband's hat, His staff is also great! They had Polly the baby kangaroo and Trout the penguin for us to pet, ask questions and also take pictures. Wish he brought more animals, but time and logistics I'm sure would not allow this. Loved the show,,,would highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Enjoyed the combination of videos and seeing live animals. The only thing that would have made it better is if the lady behind us had not brought her 3-year-old who didn't have a clue about what was going on. The child spent the entire evening jabbering about nothing. At times we could not hear Jack.

I took my nieces age 5 & 8. I loved the show and so did they. Jack Hanna was informative and entertaining. The animals and videos were fun to see. Now my only negative would be about the venue itself. I have been to this venue (Bayou Music Center ) before and the lighting isn't that great. I wish Bayou Music Center would improve the stage lighting and get a larger screen.

Loved this show so much! I always try to catch Jack when he is on David Letterman, Jay Leno or the other shows. His live show does not disappoint. He is just the same in person as he is on TV. He is a wonderful man who is giving his life to bring awareness to animals and their plight, and yet he has compassion and empathy for cultures where people are trying to survive, also.

We did not know what to expect with the Jack Hanna show but were so enthralled with the whole evening of entertaining videos and live animals along with Jacks narration. The time flew by and we could have used another hour and half of his fun and education. Would definately go to see Jack Hanna again!

This is a great show for children and adults. Learning about animals, their habitats and conservation are so important. Jack is such a nice guy who does a great job teaching about the animals who are the real stars. I like the way he mixes the video, talking and live animals. Be sure to get there early because you can meet him and have books, hats, etc. signed. Please leave really young children at home. The one year and two year olds behind us screamed, cried and were SO LOUD that it was terribly bothersome for all around them.

took my grandchildren - 5 and 7 noticed that the children in the audience were very fidgety.. I believe this new generation is so used to quick video presentations/interactions that they are losing their attention span. From a child's view..I think that Jack's stories and his narration was a bit above the children's heads. I understood and enjoyed it.. but I think it was too much talking for little ones... I enjoyed it though and they said they did also...but asked (as did other children around us) How much longer??

My husband and I brought our 14 year old grandson for his birthday to see the Jack Hanna show. We were extremely disappointed in the performance. The screen used to display the videos of his work was so small you couldn't see it. It was also difficult to hear. A great deal of old material was used including jokes told by Jack Hanna. Overall we were anticipating a much higher level of the use of technology

I had been looking forward to this program, and it even far exceeded my expectations! A thoroughly entertaining and educational evening, and completely acceptable for kids. I was sorry to see it end! A good mix of live animals and short videos; the videos gave a good glimpse of large animals that would be very difficult to present live, such as elephants and giraffes. Hoping he'll make a return soon!

Jack Hanna is an encyclopedia of information. Into the Wild was so interesting, entertaining, uplifting, exciting, ... I could go on and on. My family was entranced from the beginning to the end of the show. The animals that Jack brought with him were the best! These are animals that you rarely ever see, especially outside of a cage. I would recommend young and old alike to attend this show. We will definitely be going again when Jack is back in this area.

I brought my 6 year old nephew. Jack Hanna did a lot of talking about wildlife and the environment which was uninteresting to a 6 year old. When he did bring out animals he spoke about where they lived. When he spoke about alligators he touched on the Disney event which was far above a 6 year old. I felt the program was geared towards children 10 and older and adults.

Jack Hanna was delightful and very down to earth. There were no bells and whistles in the show and that was just fine. Just a down to earth honest show. The venue needed improvement. The microphone/and or speaker system had a very muffled sound when Hanna talked. In addition, Hanna had to ask at least 6 times to dim the lights when the video went on. Although the photographer showed nice pictures on the screen , he blocked the view for the audience to see the animals the whole time by his constant shooting pictures.

Jack's enthusiasm is incredible. It is such a treat to see him and the animals on stage. His show is much like the tv episodes seen on David Letterman and Good Morning America. This show was a mix of videos of past Jack Hanna television appearances, and actual animals on-stage with commentary and educational tidbits from Jack Hanna. He's very engaging and likeable; he speaks quite quickly, so it's possible some kids will miss some of the stories/info, because it's hard to see an actual lemur in front of you, for example, and still focus on what Jack is saying (you get excited). But the animals they bring onstage are fantastic, and there is a camera person following them around and projecting them up onto a big screen so the people in the back can see. If you can get seats in the front, do so - it's truly awesome to see them up close. All of us learned something new - even the adults.

So it was cool seeing the guy I've watched for like 20 years. The animals were fun and cute. But the venue had awful audio quality and didn't do things Jack asked for repeatedly on stage. Mr. Hanna was a rambler. For a predominantly kids audience he spoke far too much and too in depth on recent social issues that they wouldn't understand and I thought it was very distasteful.

"I would never go see Jack Hanna again!" That's what my 4 year old grandson said the next morning when I asked him what he thought of the show. My 2 grandchildren, 4 and 5 years old, were overjoyed at the prospect of seeing Jack and his animals. They watch his show all the time While Jack has a wealth of knowledge to share, his show was lacking in audience engagement. Too many videos and Jack talking over kids' heads. The show started with the first of many videos and my grandkids asking where the animals are. We had 6th row seats, $60 a ticket, and still watched most of it on a big screen because a camera man was in front of the animas most of the time. All in all very disappointed.

Could not hear what Jack Hanna or anyone on stage said throughout the entire show. We spoke with someone that was seating people and they said Jack has his own sound system, and they did replace his microphone, but it did not help. We were very close to the stage, so I could focus on his mouth and get some of what he was saying, but very disappointing, especially for my grandchildren, ages 5 and 3. It did not keep their attention, especially when Jack was on stage alone talking. It sounded like garble, all the words had an echo and it sounded like a bunch of noise. To me, that ruined the event for our family. On a positive note, Jack is very personable, signing autographs before and after the show.

This program was listed as a children's music and theatre. It was definitely not for my pre-school granddaughter. There was way too much talk, too much adult vocabulary. The animals were so small that I felt we were watching TV instead of being in a live performance. There was no interaction, no familiar songs about animals. I was even bored and we left within the first 20 minutes.

Jack sat out front and signed autographs and shook hands for about 45 minutes prior to the show. He showed he is a regular guy. His show was an entertaining combination of live animals, stories and video clips. There were about a dozen animals presented. We learned about them while watching their antics. This is fun for all ages. The Beau Rivage venue is very nice. 2 minor complaints: the seats make aircraft seats feel big and you have to walk miles through a smoke infested casino to reach the theatre.

This was such an excellent show. It was educational and entertaining at the same time. I learned a lot about animal conservation that I didn't know from someone who has been working in this field for 50 years. Wow! It was also really funny. I was rolling! What a great break from the daily grind. He showed a lot of live animals and many many others from video clips. Of course, there were also funny bloopers that occurred on shows he had done. What a riot! Loved the sugar baby( an animal that looks somewhere in between a squirrel and a monkey) jumping onto his hat and the bird from South America that kept trying to smash the rubber lizard on a rock. I have not been so entertained in a long time. Keep up the great work, Jack!

I've always loved Jack Hanna and enjoyed this program as well. I would not say that this is a "kids" program. It is certainly family friendly but Jack has many stories to tell and the little ones at our show really were more excited to see just the animals. It was hard for them to sit through the slower parts and I think that some parents thought that there would be more animals on the stage for the kids to see. I think there were 6 or so. The show wasn't all "show". It was also a teaching experience for me. I'm no young chicken and I saw 3 live animals (of the bunch he brought) that I had never heard of or seen in my lifetime. The clips he showed us were amazing and the live animals were great. Jack Hanna is not only very funny, witty and very handsome, he just oozes love and caring for his animals both in zoos and in the wild. He explained his philosophy about how nature works and it made sense. He's the real thing for sure. Definitely google this man and read about his beliefs because without men like him we won't leave anything for the next generation. I also want to mention the people that helped him were great and the camera man on stage the whole time was wonderful. (The bloopers of his TV appearances at the end were a riot! Dated me for sure! lol)

Jack Hanna was kind enough to sign autographs before and after the show. He was very entertaining. Throughout the show we watched different clips of his travels to see animals and some of his experiences. (Clips not shown on any of his tv shows). Since he works closely with the Columbus Zoo he was able to have the zoo bring some very cool animals for the audience to see. Audience full of people from the very young to very old. ***He mentioned retiring in about a handful of years, his kids taking over what he does. I would try to see him sooner rather than later.

Not a great show. Jack talked really fast and kind of mumbly and it was hard to understand him. I went with 4, 6, 11 and 13 year olds and it didn't hold any of their interest, with the youngest begging to leave early. The screens showing the animals weren't the best quality and Jack seemed to talk a lot more about how he didn't like how zoo's were getting a bad rap these days and the kids didn't care about that. I was really excited about taking the kids to this and was very disappointed.

I brought my daughter to the show. I have watching this man my whole life. We arrived at the theater early. He came out and signed autographs, he gave us a picture of him holding a baby tiger. He had unusual animals on the show I have not seen in zoo's and I have been to more than 50. He has done so much to help raise awarness about differnt causes. The Genacide in Ruwanda, how he built Orphanagies there, the work with the Mountain Gorilla, the reason he has animals and how he obtained them. The importance of animal conservation. The importance of understanding they are still willd and respecting thier roots. His hobbies, and who he is as a person. He may be a celebrity but he is a true humanitarian and should be given an award for all the work he as done. All the knowledge he has, and how willing he is to share it. He had awesome clips, and it was just a wonderful show.

The production was good, but the sound system in the Beau Rivage Theater was terrible. I couldn't understand half of what was said.

It was very informative. Just not to much excitement for 10 and under. Animals were beautiful as always just nothing that grabbed the kids attention. Overall it was a nice outing for what I paid in ticket pricing. The staff wasn't kid friendly either. I know their used to 21 years or older but if the casino is choosing to host a family event the staff need to be really for kids that run AROUND!!!!!

I totally enjoyed Jack's presentation as I always do. The only thing was this was for kids of middle school age and adults. Any kids younger then that were not interested in what he was saying or the films he was showing. Kids around me were whining or flashing the light on cellphone, not really interested. I understand that kids are the future to help endangered animals but young school kids don't understand at this time. They perked up when the "cute" little animals came on stage. I could have listened to Jack for hours on all his travels and dealings with the different types of animals. I will go see him again! I did go to the 3:00 show for personal reasons, but next time I will go to the 7:00 show.

Very nice presentation. Love the baby rhino in the footage. Jack explained that he just came from an ice storm and was kinda rushed. Understandable. None of the animals were harmed. Allot of film footage and great animal presentations. What matters are the animals. Jack showed what conservation can do. He brought special animals to show us. His theme is clear. He in not about making animals do tricks or any entertainment that degrades the animals, but about real caring for our four, five legged (tail included) and winged animals friends. I loved the flying Hawk and the Eagle, as well as the Kangaroo the Alligator. It was great to see the kids excitement. it. Keep up the good work Jack.

His stage presence was absolutely boring. His team didn't even bother to iron the table cloth that took center stage. There was little effort to make the show fun and exciting for his younger audience. I would say for kids 5 and under it was difficult to stay interested because of all the talking. I would suggest bringing the environment of the wild onto stage with more decoratio, less talking, updated videos and a larger screen. The highlight of the show was the animals he brought with him.

Great show! We actually gifted tickets to my Cousin and her 8 year old Daughter. Aly loved it... Today she hugged me with a squeeze. Never before. Her eyes lit up when she described the animals she got to see in the show. She especially loved the kangaroo and joey.

Enjoyed Jack's humor and the exotic animals he brought. I wish they showed less footage and more animals.

From entering the building to exit, this show is well worth it!!! Walked in to some friendly creatures to greet us, as well as the ones Jack brought. He was nice enough to stay after the show and autograph pictures for everyone willing to wait. 10 outta 10

As a devoted watcher of the weekly program, I was somewhat disappointed in the videos that made up 50% of the show. Having seen 95% of them, I wished there was more interactive displays, more live animals. Those Jack did bring were great, especially the kangaroo with the little Joey in the pouch! probably will never have that opportunity again in my lifetime. Jack is very personable, stayed after the show to sign autographs and answer questions. Well worth the price of my ticket.

Jack Hanna should have more animals and no video. Very loud with a bunch of kids crying and yelling. Seemed to me that the kids were bored.

Great to see Jack Hanna, but the show is incredibly boring. The "show" consists of Jack Hanna narrating VERY old footage of him in his adventures. I'm generously giving this show 1 star, only because I'm a fan of Jack Hanna and his work.

Let me start off by saying the whole family was very excited to see Jack Hanna Live! I've been watching him on TV since I was a little girl. Mr Hanna was great and lively just like you see him on his show. He was very informative and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. The show however was missing something. There was a small, poor quality screen that the cameraman would use to show closeups of the animals as they were on stage. I feel bad for the people who were all the way on the top balcony, they probably had to squint to see anything. There was far too much talking and old video footage and not enough variety of animals. I read through reviews beforehand and saw that there had been penguins, bear cubs and even big cats at other shows. Although the animals he brought out were interesting I was waiting for the big FINALE, but sadly it never came. Overall I'd recommend the show but not at the price I paid for my entire family to go.

Seeing the faces of my children light up when they were seeing animals you only get to see in a zoo was awesome. I remember seeing Jack Hanna way back to the Carson day's and now with Letterman, he is what I would have wanted to do if my life had played out like his. Thank you for a great family outing.

My husband, my 7 years old twins, and I were so disappointed with the show. Jack made so much commentary. All comments were not connected to the kids level. My boys were bored most of the time. Half of the show was consumed by videos clips. Some were recent and some were 15 years old in which I can easily find them on YouTube. There were some interesting parts when some animals came out. All and all, it is not worth the money if you are going to take small children. Save the money, and go see the more enticing ones at Sea World, or San Diego Zoo.

Fantastic presentation of wildlife. It gives the public access to animals that they can only see on TV or in the zoo in cages. It personalizes our awareness of just how animals are necessary for our existence. It brings home the realization that we must maintain our wildlife through management programs that help preserve their existence. Thank God for dedicated people like Jack Hanna and David Jackson who devote their lives to educating the public about these wonderful creatures.

Sorry to say that I was very disappointed in the show. I took my 9 year old twin boys, had front row seats that were about $60.00 each. For $15.00 I would say the show was worth the price but not $60!! My boys were bored and half way thru the show asking when it would be over. Ugh. The animals were all small ones --so very dull. Some were cool especially the penguin and twin Cheetah cubs. However Jack kept them way up on the stage on a table--he should have brought them to the edge of the stage where the audience could get a closer look. He had a camera man that filmed the animals one at a time as they were introduced and the film was up on a projection screen. Who wants to watch it on a projector? Also as Jack does (and I expected) he talks too fast and has a horse throat--wanted to talk too much about his films . They did show clips from the tonight show and other TV films Jack has done which I have seen all before. I am an animal lover and conservationist however the show could have been so much better. Bring some bigger animals---let the kids come pet some --how about a monkey and walk the monkey up the isles? , or kangaroo or Talking birds or something more fun? He brought a big bird that did fly into the audience and talk a $1 bill. The kids at least liked that. Needs more interaction. He cant just stand there and talk you to death. Jack is obviously afraid of the animals and did not touch one. He jumps back scared of them and lets the animal handlers bring them on and off. Silly. Save your money and rent the video or just go to a good zoo.

At first I was so impressed that he came out about 45 minutes before the show to sign and handout photo cards! The presentation was well put together and informative. He brought 22 animals which he assured the audience that they are treated better than a human. I would recommend this show.

I was totally disappointed in the show...The first hour was a movie...All Jack talked about was rushing out after the show to get back to Ohio before the snow...he did a lot of talking about his family health issues...the animals came out and sat on a stand with a camera in their faces the entire time making it difficult to see them ...I think that maybe if he wasn't into doing the show that day it would have been a better idea to cancel and refund the $222.00 that I spent for not much at all...certainly didn't coincide with the reviews that I had read before I bought the tickets.
