If you are a college hoops fan, you must include Hinkle Fieldhouse on your bucket list. It is especially rewarding if your team wins, but watching any team play the Bull Dogs is great. Don't expect any beer, and you really won't need it to enjoy yourself

The enviroment inside Hinkle Fieldhouse is amazing. There is alot of history in this building. Our seats were great. Everyone who works there is really nice and kind. Before and after the game we got to meet Blue 2 and got pictures with him. I would recommend anyone who wants to enjoy going to a game at Hinkle to go.

My son is a big Butler fan after two straight appearances in the National Championship game. Hinkle Fieldhouse is grand! There is a general family atmosphere. Good quality basketball for a good price and great place to take the whole family.

Valpo vs. Butler was a great game. My only concern was about accessibility to and inside Hinkle Fieldhouse. We arrived at the fieldhouse 1 hour early and luckily got the last disabled parking place available. My 88-year old father had difficulty climbing the concrete ramps with his walker (he did not want to sit in disabled seating!). Butler is right on in figuring how to remodel the inside of the fieldhouse. Please include elevators and accessibility issues even beyond the legal guidelines -- Hinkle has great history for many who still want to attend.

The arena has a small feel but when sold out has good acoustics; makes for a loud exciting atmosphere to watch a good basketball game. True basketball fans need to check this place of their bucket list.

The first half of the game was very competitive. Louisville's athleticism and speed took over in the second half. Overall it was an enjoyable game to watch. I am a really big fan of Ticketmaster's interactive seat selection maps. It's a great way to select the seats you want from those available.

I went to the game with my daughter who is a student at Butler. I had heard about Hinkle Fieldhouse for years, and finally had the opportunity to go. I travelled all the way from California for the game, and I wasn't disappointed! The arena is amazing. I loved looking at all the memorabilia before the game,and going onto the court afterwards. Our seats weren't great, but it didn't matter. The game was fun, exciting, and everything I hoped it would be. I loved the Butler band!

Excellent game, good seats. Just wish Valpo had made it more of a game by scoring more in the first half. Then they wouldn't have had to foul as much at the end of the game and it would have been much much closer.

If you have never been to Hinkle for a game, you gotta go. It is a true landmark of hoops history, like Cameron Indoor or The Palestra at Penn. Just awesome. And now that the Bulldogs are in the Big East, the quality of play is that much better.

Butler played theIr butts off and tied it late to send the game into overtime. Unfortunately, some spotty officiating and bad clock management led to a loss by 3. I had a great seat at center court. Parking was kinda difficult though.

The game was a fantastic ball game! It went down to the final minutes before Butler fought off Xavier for a 67-62 win. The game was very exciting with Butler leading by 10-pts with 10-minutes remaining but X fought back to take a 4-point lead at the 5:30 mark. It was back & forth over those final five minutes with Butler icing the game from the free throw line in the final two minutes. Great games by both teams!

A noisy venue made for dramatic match match-up. Enough SLU fans traveled so that there was vocal support for both squads. I don't think either side ever trailed by double digits. Butler got the upper hand in the first half with exceptional 3-point shooting, while SLU took the upper hand at the beginning of the second half using the inside game and dribble drives. The only distraction from a great game was the officiating, which seemed to get most calls wrong when it came to blocking/charges. That affected both teams, but there's no way to say if it affected them evenly. I would have preferred that the officials be right, and not just consistently wrong.

3 of us traveled from Chicago to Indy to see the game. Butler was #10 in the polls and having a great season. Charlotte was on a two game losing streak and in danger of losing their momentum built up after a 12-0 start. The game was close. The arena was packed. The spirit in the building was electric. I would have been happy to have made the trip even if Charlotte had lost by 5 or 6. The trip back was so much better after the win. Butler is a great team and will make the NCAA tournament. Charlotte is a good team and probably will not. But for one night, one glorious night, the 49ers were at the top of their game.

I ordered tickets to the Gonzaga at Butler basketball game as a present for my husband, who is a huge college basketball fan and has also memorized every word of dialogue in the movie "Hoosiers" (which was partially filmed in Hinkle Fieldhouse). Although it is a 5 1/2 hour trip from our home in WV, watching Butler play in Hinkle Fieldhouse was everything we thought it would be, and more. The excitement of watching Roosevelt Jones make the last-second game-winning shot was incredible, and hearing the roar of the crowd as thousands of fans rushed the floor immediately afterwards brought chills to my body. Seeing the historical Hinkle Fieldhouse is also an experience that we will never forget.

I've been to some fun games at Hinkle Fieldhouse, but this takes the cake. From the minute Dick Vitale entered the arena until long after the game was over, the place was abuzz. The crowd hung on every shot as if every hit or miss decided the outcome. And to have it go down to a final game-winning shot at the buzzer when it appeared all hope was lost. Just an amazing finish to a great game.

The Bulldogs are floundering due to a lack of leadership. Andrew Chrabascz is a sound player but he is not the vocal leader on the floor. Defenses have caught up to some of his moves. Team defense on Tuesday was abysmal. Creighton had to many easy buckets inside. There were unconscious shooting three pointers They had too many big men for us to be able to get open shots. Butler will rebound from these losses. Good coaching will find some answers..

This facility needs to be replaced. Leave the shell of the building alone for historic reasons but the sight lines are terrible. We could not see from the foul line in to the baseline. With the success they have had & the amount of average attendance, they have the $$$ to replace this ancient relic!!!!

The parking at Hinkle Fieldhouse is very bad. There is only 22 handicapped parking places. My 73 year old 100% disabled vet father had to walk 4 blocks to the fieldhouse after the security at there very rudely let him know that the parking in front of Hinkle was for Season Ticket holders only. The tickets where a gift My 16 year old daughter bought them so her and her Grandfather could go to a game together. to say the parking put a cloud over the whole event for them. To say the least they will not be returning to Butler

The game was great. The seats were wonderful. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the map was not representative of the actual seats. The last seat in the row was right up against the rail for the handicap section. On the map, it appears to be an aisle next to the seat.

Excellent game. Changes to Hinkle Field house are excellent. If you have not attended a Butler game in Hinkle you are really missing out on a great experience.

Sat in section 211, row 3. Seats were behind visitors end baseline. Could not see any action within 15 ft of baseline on our end.

I love my seats! They were court side and right behind the team bench. Enjoyed seeing the newly remodeled Fieldhouse. A must see for everyone whom remembers what it previously looked like.

I took my 12 year old son and a few friends to the game. It was amazing for them. Great first ncaa experience. Loved that they let the kids play on the court after the game :-)

i had to park about 6 blocks away from the venue. if you can get a parking pass, i would recommend it.
