Amazing gig, sound and lighting was spot on! Acts all knew their stuff and played their socks off! Beer was a bit pricey and security inside wasn't great with non ticket holders sitting in other people's seats. Transportation to and from the gig was fantastic and marshalling outside the venue was excellent! It was disappointing that non ticket holders just walked in and sat down, Others just rocked up ate their food and left a mess! One security officer brought a gang of 10 or more and let them choose what ever seats they wanted!! Not fair really we came along way and paid a lot of money for our tickets!!

The setting was very simple, the sound of the 2 previous / opening groups was not good. The difference in terms of positive quality sound of the closing show every date, was pretty clear, but affecting the opening acts. The experience was not memorable as a whole. Compared to Desert Trip, the Classic was very simple. Although, the quality of the main shows, specially Eagles, was superb, I consider that Fleetwood Mac performed very well, the sound was great, but the visuals were poor, not at the level of the event.

Bad stuff first... the management of the entry for floor tickets was poor. As you came drown the Bullpen Entrance there was a merchandise stand on the left. Between shows when people were trying to get merchandise and get to and from the portolets for floor ticket holders it was kind of mayhem. People packed like sardines or maybe salmon trying to swim upstream to get one direction or the other. All the while people lined up for t-shirts and similar items were blocking a large portion of the passageway. Not good. There was another merchandise stand on the other side which was prett empty by comparison. It was a bad place to locate that sales place. Other than that the whole event was amazing. This was a bucket-list event and a destination concert for me and my wife and it delivered. Big time. No buyers remorse here. And the tickets were not inexpensive. But again the tickets were well worth the price to me.

The Eagles hit a grand slam at Dodger Stadium. Great sound, can't say anything else. For the most part all the bands were very good. Gotta give Earth Wind & Fire credit for getting the stadium going even in the heat. Would have given it a 5 star rating had it not been for Fleetwood Mac. Disappointed in their overall performance. The arrangements seemed to be off at times, so the sound was awful. It wasn't Desert Trip but it was good!

We came in with high expectations and were not disappointed. The Eagles performance was emotional, the additions of Deacon Frey and Vince Gill blended seamlessly. Bob Seager was an added treat. Fleetwood Mac never sounded better. The Doobies, Steely Dan, Earth Wind and Fire, and Journey all gave incredible performances. The guitar and drum solos by each band were amazing, vocals were spot on. Wish we could fly East for the next show!

The concert lineup was fabulous. The fb website was Not maintained at ALL. I kept getting emails saying the times for the concert had changed and when I went to the site...Nowhere, was listed when the changes were. I even commented on the webpage as did many ppl after me, got a response One Month later...that is unaccaptable!! Taking Uber to the concert to avoid the traffic/parking fiasco turned into a HUGE major nightmare after the show as Thousands of us waited over 2 hours to get rides home....I blame Uber for this but just the same it was a major hot mess that No one wanted to deal with following an incredible performance by the Eagles. Paying $30 for parking is beyond steep....if you can park for a baseball game for $15 there is no reason to jack the price up for this concert! The bands were Awesome so in the long run, easy to overlook most of the inconviences...I would go again in a heart beat!

The overall concert was ran very well. On time from the start to the end, both days. The Eagles were fantastic! The addition of Deacon Frey and Vince Gil was a great plan. Also loved the horns and string section. Steely Dan was missing Walter Becker, however the band was tight and sounded great. The second night wasn't as great, however Earth Wind and Fire was electric. Journey showed Steve Perry wasn't missed, only in presence. Fleet wood Mac seemed to have a little sound issues. Lindsey Buckingham was terrific and the rest of the group didn't disappoint.

All the bands were awesome. I think Eagles nailed it the best but nothing was bad. Nice to flash back to earlier days and rock the night away. This was the concert to end all concerts! We had a wonderful time getting to know our 3 day concert buddies and the bands hit it out of the Dodger Stadium, relatively speaking! It was hot and getting used to getting up and down all night for the middle of the row was annoying, but nothing we didn't expect. I have been waiting to see the Eagles forever and this was a treat! We will remember our weekend in LA for the rest of our lives! Great event!

I enjoyed listening to the Doobie Bros and they did a great job. I did not care for Steely Dan. I only recognized a couple of their songs. Too much like jazz for me not "rock and roll". The hit of the night was the Eagles. I loved all their songs. Even if they would have been the only band playing that night, it was well worth it. Glen Fry's son was impressive and Vince Gill did a wonderful job filling in for the void of losing Glen. I could listen to the Eagles over and over.

The band members were visibly emotional when they thanked the fans for their support. It felt like they were including us into their family (Joe Walsh even used those words) Don Henley said that this "might " be the last dance, which left the door open to another concert??? maybe, who knows! Adored Vince GIll. He sings like an angel and was so respectful of not being out in front. Deacon was amazing, for young man of 24 to be able to shoulder all of the weight of that legacy and to be holding his own with such an experienced band was joy to witness. Glenn would be so proud, he had to be there somewhere,,,, being the proud dad......

Eagles were amazing as usual. A little different without Glenn but Deacon and Vince did great and they pulled it off. Doobies Bros were very very good. Steely Dan was good but should've played more of their big hits. Save the deep cuts for Steely Dan only concerts, not big festivals with 60,000 people.

While I'm not a big fan of either the Doobie Brothers or Steely Dan, they both have a solid performance. The Eagles, however, were outstanding and were joined by greats Vince Gil & Bob Seger. Vocals were strong, emotions were high especially when Glenn Frey's son was introduced and played a variety of songs in his dad's honor. I can't even imagine what that meant to that kid. Anyhow, amazing show as always & they never disappoint. Well, actually the only bummer was they didn't play Wasted Time, but they did play such a wide range and vast set of other songs, that I guess the cut had to be made somewhere. Great show & wish I could do it again.

Overall, one of the greatest multi act music festables I've been to. My ratings for the groups: 1. The Eagles, 2. Fleetwood Mac, 3.Dobbie Brothers, 4. Journey, 5. Earth, Wind & Fire, 6. Steely Dan. The Eagles, were just the best overall performers. All aspects from the ballads to the rockers! They had the audience in the palm of their hands. Fleetwood Mac, spell binding and energetic. The Dobbie's came to rock and they did just that. Had the crowd moving from start to finish. Saw them decades ago, they still got it! Journey over amplified, to many guitar virtuosos. Lead singer great, but overshadowed by band amplification. The group had energy and enthusiasm, but sound volume tired me and others out!. Earth, Wind & Fire, energetic performance, a quick taste of their greatest hits. Steely Dan, some greatest hits, Donald Fagen, doing mainly his own thing. Walter Becker out sick, Larry Carlton-of smooth jazz fame, did a great job, one of the bright spots in their performance. I wish Donald F. would get a little more creative in song lineup. No encore! I think they just phoned this one in!

2-day event was amazing!!! Though we did not sit in our original seats on the field (Section B8, Row 6, Seats 5-8) we wish we did. We happened to get seats in Section A8, Row 5, Seats 10- 13) Upgrade right? NO! The floor plan was not what was presented when we purchased the second set of tickets. The Section A8 seats on the field where OBSTRUCTED VIEW! We could not see the main backdrop behind the musicians for the Doobie's, Steely Dan and especially the EAGLES! And the panels we could see were OBSTRUCTED with the lighting system. We missed the dedication images to Glenn Frey, and more! Disappointment is an understatement. Crowd around us were very upset, too, to say the least. One couple didn't even stay for the event after spending $$$$ for their seats. LiveNation, Ticketmaster and AMEX will hear about this! Fortunately, StubHub came through for us and got us amazing seats for Sunday's event---center stage in section B5. Thank you StubHub!!!! for letting me feel like I was at a concert!

The staging, production and audio on Saturday was terrific. Each of the 3 bands sounded clear, defined and articulate and the Eagles set was great with Deacon Frey, Vince Gill and a guest spot from Bob Seger. The staging remained great on Sunday but, from the same seats as Saturday, the audio for Earth Wind and Fire and Journey was not great - it sounded louder than Saturday, with over blown bass, no definition to voices or instruments. Both bands were energetic and engaged the audience, it is just a shame we couldn't understand the vocals and were almost bludgeoned by the bass. Thankfully, Fleetwood Mac sounded better, clear and defined, on Sunday night. Overall a good experience, I would go again

I purchased tickets to the Classic West concert for myself and my dad. His favorite bands growing up were the Doobie Brothers and the Eagles, and he raised me on their great music. For years I've been wanting to get him tickets to see either of them in concert. I never thought I'd be able to get him tickets to see BOTH of them together! We celebrated Father's Day and my dad's birthday at this concert. It was absolutely incredible and to experience these world class artists with my dad was an unforgettable moment in my life. My husband and I came from Detroit to experience this awesome concert. Earth Wind and Fire were at the top of their game even in the blasting heat. Having Deacon Frye play with Eagles was so emotional since he is the image of his father Glenn. I first saw the Eagles in 1973. Journey is always great and although I miss Steve Perry, I am always amazed that Arnel sounds like Steve. My husband enjoyed Steely Dan. Fleetwood Mac was awesome and it was good to see that the bandembers could put their differences aside to play together. The Doobie Brothers were fantastic. Great, great show.

Classic Concert - rating of bands in order (because sometimes you rate things). First of all, the weekend was excellent. I'd say the best Supergroup concert other than the original Nardfest in 2013 or the infamous Camarillo High School Gymnasium Nardcore show. Here are my ratings (in case you wondered how good the bands were). 6. Steely Dan - well, someone had to be 6th. They sounded great. But missing Walter Becker was huge blow, even if they had legendary guitarist Larry Carlton with them. But the loss of Becker prevented them from playing 3 of the hugest hits - Rikki Don't Lose that Number, Peg, and FM. 5. Earth, Wind, and Fire - still a stellar performance. But the loss of Maurice White, sound issues, and no "Reasons" dropped them. They were fun and the crowd was hopping. 4. Journey - this was not Arnell Pineda's fault. He was great. And they were great. Played all of their hits. Dropped this low because of not 1, but TWO Neal Schon lengthy guitar solos. I know he's great, a prodigy of Carlos Santana himself, but every song already had a great guitar lead - no need for lengthy solos to show how great you are. The return of Steve Smith on drums was their highlight and he undoubtedly played the best solo (of any instrument) the entire weekend. 3. Doobie Brothers - solid performance. Sounded great. Sang all of their hits. They had the tough slot of opening the weekend and did NOT disappoint. No Michael McDonald, or they would have threatened for no. 2. I did have them ranked 2, until the final moments of 2. Fleetwood Mac - Sound issues would have dropped them lower. But all original members (well, you know what I mean) was huge. Considering 3 are older than 70, the other two 67 and 69, they ROCKED the place. Lindsey Buckingham is an EXCELLENT guitarist and Christine McVie is the talent. They made it to no. 2 because of the Dodgers Stadium fireworks at the end of the show. Epic ending to a great weekend. 1. Eagles - surprise! Okay, most of this is in part an emotional vote, seeing that it was mostly a tribute to Glenn Frey. But Deacon Frey, Vince Gil, and Bob Seger all filled in with stellar performances. They sounded great, played all of their hits, and some obscure songs too. But worth every penny knowing that my wife had never seen them before. I'd seen them a few times with Felder and Frey, and this still may have been my favorite time. If you are in NY or want to go there, I highly recommend seeing the Classic East at Citi Field next weekend.

A two day musical nostalgic trip coupled with a wedding anniversary in New York City still seems a bit surreal but all six groups were outstanding and, despite absences ( Glen Frey, Walter Becker, Steve Perry ), showed what professionalism and experience is all about. The Doobie Brothers kicked off the two day event with an energy-setting performance minus the Michael McDonald hits. It was obvious they were prepared and yet still found time to share some smiles and fun during their performance. Donald Fagen and Steely Dan were up next and with Larry Carlton handling much of the guitar work in place of the ill Becker, this group was still very good and allowed for a 'chill' session with some of their best. The night was capped off with an emotional Eagles' performance featuring Deacon Frey and Vince Gill in place of the former's late father, Glen. A tribute performance if you will and easily the tightest and most professional of day one with Timothy B. Schmidt and Joe Walsh sharing time and significance with the younger Frey, Gill and original co-founder, Don Henley. Day two could have been anti-climatic after the day one performances but Earth, Wind and Fire were, pardon the pun, in their element(s). Co-founder and lead vocalist, Philip Bailey, showed he still has the range to be considered the consummate front man for the group who brought funk and energy to a new level despite performing in full costume at 90 degree Citi Field. As the sun started to head down into late Sunday afternoon Journey took the stage and despite some great solo efforts, in particular by drummer, Steve Smith, who allowed for the rest of the group to reload after a long one hour set, only Don't Stop Believin' , in my opinion, saved the performance which had volume levels set too high and led to distortion and instrument overlap against lead singer, Arnel Pineda's vocals. Neal Schon may have been a co-founder of the group, but his solo efforts were 'forced and loud' and took away from his skill and ability. Closing off the night and the Classic East were Fleetwood Mac. While they were wrapping up a very long tour, they left it all on the stage this night. Stevie Nicks doesn't have the range anymore but as a professional she also knew to stay within her comfort zone and allow for the lyrics and messages within to come through. She also was humble enough to allow for vocals support from the rest of the group, in particular, Christine McVie, who was wonderful, fresh and energetic. Lindsay Buckingham seemed desperate at times as if not wanting to be forgotten, but overall it was a great, great performance and Mick Fleetwood left no doubt with his closing adieu who still wears the pants in this group. Stevie Nicks did seem to hint this may be the end of the line for her touring? A can't miss opportunity, turned into a can't miss concert. Loved it!

Missing Glenn Frey but Vince Gill and Deacon Frey did him proud. Emotional for most fans and for the performers. Sounded absolutely amazing. Fleetwood Mac on night 2 blew my mind. How is it possible to look and sound so incredible after all those years??? Stevie and Lindsay captivated the audience like never before. The Doobie Bros, Steely Dan and The Elements / Earth Wind & Fire -- sounding fantastic. My impression of Journey -- not as stellar -- the sound was too loud and somewhat distorted. Also they should have performed more chart-toppers for the fans. I didn't recognize most of what they performed. Overall, though, a bucket list event, for sure.

Great location, everything was well organized, even the weather was fine. We saw 6 amazing concerts and it was a pity that Fleetwood Mac seemed to have some technical problems on stage. Respect to E,W & F who opened on sunday with a great party and made almost everybody sing and dance.

I finally got to see Fleetwood Mac in concert! They were incredible and everything I hoped for, Loved seeing the Eagles too. Deacon Fry and Vince Gill were great when they sang Glenn Fry's songs. Journey was awesome. I was reliving my childhood. Earth, Wind & Fire know how to warm up the crowd, Loved that I could see their shiny costumes from my nosebleed seats. I was at the merchandise table during Steely Dan, but I am not so familiar with their songs. The Doobie Brothers were good, but I only knew 4 or 5 songs. Downside were the nosebleed seats in the left field of Citi Field. We had a side view of the stage and only a partial view of one of the screens. I wish Citi Field used the jumbo-trons to also project the event.

Doobie Brothers rocked-out! Starting off with classic rock hit "Jesus is Just Alright With Me". Unique sound, blues/ rock /southern, which defines this band! Steely Dan with original singer playing all their hits! Closing with "Reeling in the Years". Putting their footprint on this stage among rock greats! Eagles with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey playing one hit after another for practically two hours and a half. Closing with "desperado". All the guys lined-up shoulder to shoulder playing acoustics/ singing the words with a huge screen shot of a California Dessert at Sunset looming behind them. Powerful and unforgettable!

Absolutely loved this concert. It exceeded expectations across the board. The highlights were actually the Eagles on the first night and Earth, Wind and Fire on the 2nd night. I hadn't seen the Doobie Brothers before, but they did an excellent job on all the songs and were very entertaining. I have seen Steely Dan and they did an excellent job as well. The Eagles were amazing! Very emotional with Deacon Frey performing some of his dad's songs. Special to have Joe Walsh perform some of his songs. Vince Gill did a tremendous job singing the rest of the Glenn Frey songs. While Glenn was missed, the Eagles gave an excellent performance and it was a nice tribute to Glenn. They played for a solid 2-1/2 hours. The second night started with a great set from Earth Wind and Fire ... the entire stadium was singing along, dancing and full of energy. Journey's performance was a lot of fun. We knew all the songs ... there could have been a little less of Neal Schon's guitar riffs, but that is just a personal preference. Arnel does an unbelievable job on the lead vocals. The final performance by Fleetwood Mac was really good. We saw them in 2015 in Philadelphia when Christine McVie had just rejoined the band and thought they were a little better back then. They had to re-start songs a couple times and just didn't seem as tight an act as some of the others. With that said, they can still sing and perform and put on a fabulous show. Fireworks at the end were a nice conclusion!

A concert of a lifetime! Not only were the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac out of this world, The Doobies, Steely Dan, Earth Wind & Fire and Journey each put on a great concert. We sang along and felt like we had been at 6 concerts instead of just 3!

Lucked out with the weather in NY. Not to hot or humid. Dobbie Brothers were great. Still fabulous guitarists. Steely Dan brought and entire band, including horn section, and had a substitute in Larry Carlton. Still can't help but feel that the Donald Fagan doesn't like live shows because of his perfectionism. Out of all of them, he seemed grouchy. Eagles. Loved the opening with Seven Bridges Road. Vince Gill is a somewhat good fit for the band, although it seems a little more country with his vocals. Amazing chance to see Glenn Frey's son Deacon play with the group. Looks just like his dad, circa the 1970's. Utterly fabulous trumpet solo leading into Hotel California. Hope they release a DVD of the concert. Earth, Wind and Fire. Those guys can still play and dance. Tough as they had the hottest part of the day to play in. Journey. Wow. Arnel is a consummate singer and does belong with the band in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. Neil gets a little long winded in his guitar solos and I could have done with a little less of his wife being in every close up, but love Ross, Steve and Jonathan. Fleetwood Mac. Okay, so there was the "drama" with them being the only late start and Stevie making an entrance, but boy can Lindsay still play the guitar and how about Christie still rocking it at 74?! Major downside was how Citifield handled, or should I say, didn't handle taxi/uber pick up area. While they seem to have a location for that during baseball games, NO accommodations were made for this event and it was a sell out both nights (ie 40,000). Even someone in a wheel chair had to make their way from 126th street to 114th street for pick up. That is criminal. For that reason along, I would not go to another event at this location. Also, there were only one set of signs/directional for Floor Seating. The second day we were dropped off at place that should have allowed a backtrack of one block, but no, Citifield made us circumnavigate the entire park before we were allowed entry. Flushing Meadows/US Open location is just behind this locale and they have all the taxi/uber drop-offs and subway stuff dialed in. How can it be so mismanaged here? Again, would NEVER ATTEND AN EVENT AT CITIFIELD.

All acts were amazing, but The Eagles were by far the best. Even after 40 years they stil have it, from Walsh guitar solos, Henley's "golden pipes" and (not so) new comer Deacon Frey they hit it out of the park. I really hope they continue to tour, would see them again in a second.

Concert itself was AMAZING! The bands all brought so much energy and got crowd into it. Loved the 2 day format. Cannot say one bad thing about the performance. Would love if this could be an annual event, even with different performers joining in. I wasn't notified my seats would be directly behind the foul line pole and would have an obstructed view.Ticketmaster needs to have an alert when you purchase tickets saying these may have a bad view. Very disappointing especially considering the amount of money I spent on my tickets.

Doobies killed it. Steely Dan was great. The Eagles blew us all away! Such a great show and so emotional. Day 2 Earth,Wind and Fire rocked the house. Then Journey... the weakest link. Sorry, Steve Perry should have been there and less guitar and drum solos and more hits. The lead singer bounces all over the stage.... a let down! Fleet wood Mac came on strong. So wonderful to see them all together. Stevie Was Amazing! Great show

Doobies played the perfect song choices - even added some 'modern jazz funk moments ' to their repertoire. Steely was only Fagen, however he had a wall of players behind him including Larry Carlton. The Eagles - wow Glen Frey's son added as a replacement worked well - but the addition of Vince Gill!!!!!!!!!!! Omg. The only downer was that Don Henley's voice was weak sounding - was he sick or is it gone? Joe Walsh was perfect Joe as always

This show was as advertised and more. The Doobie Brothers started off the night with great momentum, great harmonies and ripping guitar solos. Steely Dan delivered a great set and highlighted there catalog even being short an original member. The main event was something out of a dream. The Eagles, with something to prove, defended their title as heavy weight champions of classic rock. Deacon Frey was a perfect fill in for the late Glenn Frey. Deacon delivered as well as the finest singer songwriter / guitarist america has ever produced, Vince Gill. He also lent his hand in covering for the late Glenn Frey. What a show! All the hits you can imagine. Joe Walsh stole the show with his amazing guitar work. The final songs of the set really kick you in the pants. If The Eagles do any more shows with this configuration... Spend your money!

Wonderful concert. Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, and The Eagles, were all Fantastic. Just so much talent in one place, an overload to the senses. Deacon Frye filling in for his Dad was very cool. Vince Gill with The Eagles, sign him up! Sounded fantastic. Unfortunately, Walter Becker of Steely Dan was absent due to illness. As a bonus though, the great Jazz Guitarist Larry Carlton was filling in. Larry has played on many Steely Dan recordings, and is the original soloist for "Josie" and "Kid Charlemagne", and in live situations plays them note for note. All and all one of the best concerts my wife and I attended.

Concert lineup was nothing short of amazing. Eagles were by far the best of the performances!!! My only complaint was the ridiculous parking. Dodger stadium was NOT the best venue for this event. The parking staff was horrible and there were some minor issues with sound.

Worth every penny. Both Doobie Bros and Earth Wind & Fire were the perfect opening acts. Didn't care much for Steely Dan (FM radio yes but concert no). Journey was fun to watch. Fleetwood Mac was all mechanical no emotion; just a job for them. The Eagles stole the show. I felt Don Henley was maybe a bit sad missing Glenn. But Deacon Frey and Vince Gill did a good job filling in.

Overall the Concert was Great! Was disappointed in Journey, so LOUD that I could not enjoy or hear the singing. The sound guy must have had earplugs or he would have known it was bad. Many left the arena. I was looking forward to Journey, so this was a huge disappointment. ALL other bands were fabulous. Glad my family went and we had great seats.

This was the best 2 day event I've every attended. The planning by the promoters and the great hospitality from all the staff at Citi Field made it one for the books. All the bands were incredible. Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, and Eagles were so good, couldn't wait to come back for more on Sunday with Earth Wind & Fire, Journey, and Fleetwood Mac. Clearly everyone was there for a good time! Hope they plan to do another event in the future!

Bringing these 6 well known and well loved groups together for a 2-Day Event was tremendous. With 40,000 fans singing every word to the Eagles top hits and dancing in their seats it was pure magic. The only negatives I have about the event was the excessive sound volume of Journey... their best songs were almost unrecognizable and the over-the-top prices of the concession food and drink... even knowing that NYC prices are higher than most places. But overall, a wonderful experience!!
