Bette Midler was simply amazing ! Her beautiful voice as strong and lovely as years past . She looked fantastic and had the energy of a 30 year old ! Though performed at Madison square garden , her concert felt intimate as she pulled her audience in w several of her hits over the years like 'the rose' , 'wind beneath my wings' and 'stay w me baby' . . She was funny, sweet, and engaging with the crowd. The best. Concert I've seen by a solo artist!

This show was even better than we had anticipated! I brought my 88 yr old mom, 3 sistahs and a niece to the show. We had a blast! Kept teasing my 18 yr old niece about me surrounded by gray hair and gay guys - she too thought the entire night was fabulous! Mom didn't remember going the next day but she sure did enjoy the entire night with Bette!

Everything from the hilarious clip at the beginning where she appears in Michelangelo painting, then rushes thru earth as a tornado until the standing ovation in the end was capturing and exhilarating. Magnificent unforgettable Bette Midler is a MUST to see! Costumes, decorations, live band and dancers were great as well. Bette's voice is still as strong as it was back then, her comedy even funnier, and she puts on the best show of them all. Bette fans, Do not miss this! This may well be her last full nationwide tour as she turns (can you believe it?) 70 this year. She sure doesn't look or act 70 though! Set list is absolutely wonderful. Just perfect. I was fortunate enough to sit in the fourth row at the Atlanta show. I have seen Bette three times now and I have to say I enjoyed this one the most. It was so emotional on both sides of the lights. She seemed very moved by the appreciative crowd. And of course the crowd was moved as well. She sure can still belt out a song! "Stay With Me" was just overwhelming fantastic. Our girl has still got it! Such an emotional evening. Perfection. Don't miss it!

I saw Bette Midler in Hollywood Florida the 2nd night. As such the set list was revealed. So I was not disappointed. Because I knew what to expect. Bette Midler could always be counted on for provocative sets and costumes. On this she delivered. She had a terrific band and her new cast of Harlettes was unparalleled . As a stand up comedienne Bette Midler has few peers. So I am at a loss to explain her set list. 2/3 of the show were songs mostly from her new CD. I was watching the audience during these songs and they looked bored. Finally at song 15 she sang a Rolling Stones song Beast of Burden which I loved. A few more covers and then she sang her signature songs. The Rose, From a Distance , Stay with Me. Wind Beneath My Wings, and closed with Boogie Woogie Bugle Boys. Sorry for the spoilers but you need to go prepared. You will not hear Friends, one of her main songs or many other songs, especially from her other movies. Besides that I am glad I got to see Bette Midler as she is an American icon. Maybe she will change the set list but I doubt it.

I have always been a fan of Bette Midler and was excited to get the tickets to her show. I smiled thoughout the entire performance. She is adorable, and put on a show that I will always remember. The dancers and her singers were very good. The costumes were colorful and interesting. I especially liked how the show began - the whirlwind billboard blowing into Las Vegas. The addition of the American Idol judges, Elvis and Wayne Newton was a great touch. Bette Midler received several standing ovations. The entire theater was filled, and you could see that everyone there appreciated Bette's performanhce. The Divine Miss M is the best diva around!

The show was inventive, amazing and very entertaining. Bette is a real showgirl, she doesn't need acrobats to spice it up. I laughed, I cried and I was enchanted! She can still belt it out as amazing as when I first saw her in the Rose. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade in our seating, it made the show even more special. The musicians are top notch, the showgirls are gorgeous, (and we were up close). The theatre is very comfortable, honestly not a bad seat in the house. I highly recommend this event, it's worth every penny!!

Since I am not much of a Bette Midler fan I wasn't sure I'd like it very much, but I walked out of there LOVING it! She puts on one heck of a show and I would see it again, and I probably will see it again. The set, the showgirls, the orchaestra, the songs...and her charisma....they call contribute to make this one of the best shows on the strip, if not THE best. I saw Cher in the same venue a month earlier and this show is 10 times better than that one, guaranteed.

I go to a lot of shows both in NYC and Vegas and back at home in Florida. I have also, seen Bette's road shows a dozen times. This was the best I have seen in a long time. The staging was phenomenal, the content of the show was pure Bette at her best. I highly recommend this show to anyone. Except for those that might be offended by adult language, but that is Bette, She more than makes up for it with her raw talent. There is not a better entertainer,singer and joker than this gal. My wife and I are still kicking ourselves for not having bought tickets to the one and only Elvis way back when he performed at the Vegas Hilton. Fortunately, we will not have to live with the same regrets for missing the divine Miss M. From her entry onstage atop a stack of baggage delivered by a tornado to the finale (what other number would be better than You Are the Wind Beneath My Wings?) Bette was a bundle of high-powered energy that erased any doubts the audience might have harbored about her age. Ever mindful of her age, she repeatedly cracked jokes, outrageous and otherwise, about her so-called comeback, and when she sang, her voice has never been better. In a word, Bette Midler was marvelous.

I was asked to go to Las Vegas by a friend. She said if we go she has to see Bette Midler. I said sure, but I would love to see Cher. She expressed that Bette has always been her favorite entertainer in her life. She is 62. I'm only 52, ok 53. So I did get the tickets (good seats of course) and so we went. Let me tell you...I always loved Bette myself...but I forgot how incredible she is. The voice, FABULOUS! The look, GREAT! The humor, STILL THERE....SO FUNNY! I know now I would have missed something wondeful in my life if I had not have gone. I LOVE YOU BETTE. ps. I still want to see Cher too.

I am so happy I got to see Bette Midler at MSG. This was a very positive experience and the audience were nice friendly people who cried for alot of the songs :) Bette is a consumate performer who still has her voice in top form, which is not easy after several decades of performing. Of couse, Bette has excellent stage presence and talked to the audience alot - she is very funny. She performed everything from her various concery eras, and her movie music as well. Most of her fans cried for her Beaches music but I was there for the music from The Rose. This was a very colorful production and visually stimulating. I met some very nice people there :) Everyone had a time in their life that was recalled by Bettes music and some fans were fans since decades ago. Bette came out in full costume and full stage set to perform music from her movie Hocus Pocus !

For 69+ years old Bette not only looks great but performed for an hour and a half and touched everyone in the packed house. I have gone to many concerts and by far this was one of the most enjoyable, entertaining and unbelievably endearing concert I have ever been to. We were sitting in the 26th row as an anniversary present and I would have spent more money to sit closer or VIP if I would of had hindsight for wait laid ahead for us.

I have seen EVERY concert Ms. Midler has staged in the United States since 1973. This Divine Intervention concert ranks in my top 3 of all performances. She still has the pipes and sounds as good as ever. While she jokes throughout the show about her advanced age, she seems timeless, ageless as she runs across the stage. She slayed the audience with her gut wrenching performance of Stay With Me as she did in The Rose in 1978/1979. This was an extraordinary tour de force and I strongly urge everyone to run, don't walk to this performance as there were hints from the Divine One that this will be her last staged concert. You will thank me!
