I had not seen the movie before and truly thought this musical would be fun but didn't expect much else from it.Probably cause thought it was for teens. WOW was I surprised. This musical has an amazing message to share and should be seen by all. The cast, costumes, sets and songs are wonderful. The show goes so fast you just want to hit the rewind button and watch it again. I loved it and WILL see it again. Tina Fey knocked this one out of the ballpark.

Quite honestly it was so funny I liked it better than the movie. They did an amazing job creating scenes with few props and a digital background. It is cast perfectly. There are musical numbers with pencils and trays that were so well done. Bravo to you all - we loved it!

I took my daughter to NYC for her 15th birthday and her first ever trip there. So, naturally we had to see a Broadway musical and this was the perfect choice. The cast performed flawlessly, sang wonderfully and the pace was non-stop entertaining. This adaptation of Tina Fey's fabulous movie is a must see. I, and my daughter, would certainly love to see it come to NOLA affording us the opportunity to see it again.

I was so pleasantly surprised. I took my daughter as a birthday gift on a girls weekend. I thought it might just be a rehashing of the story. I felt like it actually took the story a step further and had more heart and substance. All the amazing voices and comic timing of the cast just blew me away! So great! They sold these yummy pink drinks which brings me to my only negative. The line for the women s room was like the line for splash mountain. On the plus side, there was a woman in there helping the traffic flow. I was near the end of the lines and she was yelling like a drill sargeant, ladies! The show is starting starting! I made it back in time, but it was a little crazy.

Went to NYC with the family. Someone had recommended this show to my wife as "must see"... were they right! It has a powerful message about girls and anti-bullying. We all thoroughly enjoyed the show from beginning to end. What was incredible was the use of video mapping for the various scenes... it was just a simple set background that changed instantly with the use of this technology... Wow! Take your kids... you will not regret it.

The show was great. Please be aware there are very sexual remarks made and a lot of cursing which I didn't know beforehand so my 10 year old got a very colorful education that afternoon! The theater is very small and no leg room so be prepared for sore knees.

Great choreo and amazing performances help lift this show past "just ok". The book is extremely faithful to the film, the score is 95% forgettable. The actors playing the Plastics are phenomenal, as are those playing Janice and Damian, who actually ground the show as narrators (and also steal the show with their great performances). The choreo is fun and energetic. Go for the cheapest seats you can get. It will be in the mezzanine, but it's ok up there.

I took my 16 year old daughter to this show while we were in New York and absolutely loved it!! They stayed true to the movie, but added current issues teenagers deal with like social media. The actresses & actors were awesome, the sets were great, the music was very good, and it was just a lot of fun!! I smiled through the whole thing and laughed often! Gretchen was my favorite! We had 2nd row seats on the left side of the theater facing the stage which I highly recommend (center was taken already), because the actresses came off to stand on the side right near us a few times! Also, stay after the show outside by the ropes and some of them come out to sign autographs after and even took selfies with my daughter!! Definitely a night to remember!

My family and I visit New York City every year, and we always see at least one or two broadway musicals. This year, we chose Mean Girls since my sisters and I are huge fans of the movie. We had seats in the orchestra in row N, and the view was amazing. Honestly, I don t think there is any bad view of the stage from any seat. The musical itself was amazing. We had no understudies, all original cast. The music was well written. I wouldn t say that there were many songs that really stood out, but all of the songs were written and sung well, and enjoyable. The performances of each of the characters was incredible. I especially loved the three who played the Plastics; they really stood out. And I also noticed that each character had a different type of song that set them apart from the other characters. The musical also is a love letter to the movie. It had many quotes from the movie, but they also included some extra things that I thought were good. They gave more depth to some of the characters, which was very well done. Overall, I d say Mean Girls was funny, entertaining, well performed, and a perfect musical to see if you are with your girl friends.

Mean Girls was an incredible show! Each character was well developed, each actress/actor blew me away with the humor and their vocals, acting and dancing. I would highly recommend this show to anyone!

Brought my 12.5 years old and 11years old to this funny, but lacking substance, particularly in first half musical. I would pause on bringing anyone younger than 13 to this play. Ushers seated patrons throughout the show which was very disruptive. Audience had some drinkers in crowd that were loud and disruptive.
