The energy to this show was amazing. The entire crowd was ecstatic to see the trio dominate the stage together. They were not scared to express their political views (mostly noted by the imagery of the screens). Played their classic hits and surprise songs such as a Beyonce cover. They kept the audience up from start to finish. With the vibe of the show, one would have never imagine that their career spiraled downward during Bush's presidential term. It was even better when I realized that I was out of the venue faster than previous concerts.

The show was great. Nice use of projection. Sound in this space is challenging. Hard to understand the parts of Elle King's set I wasn't familiar with, but enjoyed the music. The 6 drunk women in the row in front of me talking (loudly over the music) through the entire show were not great.
Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon, SK - Sun, Nov 3, 2013
Such a wonderfully entertaining and fun show. I stood and sang the entire night. People around me were up and dancing too. Some older folks never moved much, but that didn't stop 80% of the crowd from having a great time. The music sounded perfect. Natalie, Martie and Emily looked to be having a BLAST and danced around while playing their instruments flawlessly. MUST SEE BAND

Welcome back to the world in which you could speak your mind without fear of reprisal. It is the saddest thing in the world that the Chicks have to perform in Canada because the United States was not open-minded enough to accept Natalie Maines' criticism of the Iraqi war. Beginning with their earliest hits, the Chicks took me back to a quieter, less fearful time then worked gradually forward through the years to the moment of crisis and beyond. They are still amazing musicians and the crowd was with them every second -- cheering, clapping and singing along. I think we were all in tears by the time Natalie belted out "Not Ready to Make Nice." I know the two girls next to me shouted at each other in great excitement, "This is it, this is it!" Seeing the Dixie Chicks perform together again made me believe a little bit in happy endings -- although I hope this is a new beginning for them!

Hallelujah! I've found salvation through our lord and savior, Natalie Maines -- I definitely heard the voice of god (I'm not sure which of the thousands of gods, so I'm going to assume it was all of them combined) at the Dixie Chicks concert in Winnipeg on 11/5. I'm making a leap of faith that we might be blessed with the gift of a new album in the near future. Seriously, Natalie Maines has an unrivaled set of pipes -- she sounded even more clear and strong in concert than on the Dixie Chicks' albums. I can imagine how silly my face looked flopping back and forth between silly grin and dropped jaw. If you have the chance to see the Dixie Chicks (or solo Natalie Maines) in concert, take it. Unbelievable.

What a treat to see a group of true artists who write/compose music, play a variety of instruments, and whose voices are true to their original songs (no lip-syncing here). A lot of performers could take a page out of the Dixie Chicks' book. The audience, including me, appreciated their non-stop performance without all the "smoke and mirrors' to fool you. I have never heard such a roar at a concert when the Chicks came back for their encore and performed a raw, emotional rendition of Not Ready to Make Nice. I will continue to support talented performers such as these fine ladies who are artists in the true sense of the word, and not pre-packaged, auto-tuned, lip syncing pop stars 'du jour' who don't possess a lick of talent. It was a night of 'greatest hits' with a lot of us singing right along! Well worth it and hoping for some new stuff from the Dixie Chicks!

Traveled all the way to Vancouver from Whitewood SD USA to see the Dixie Chicks. Had an opportunity in 2006 in Omah Nebraska, but couldn't make it. It was worth every $ spent to see thier comeback show. They deserve so much better from the USA! So brave to say what they said at the time. Hope they can soon forget as well as forgive !

What can you say about a show that not only meets but exceeds your expectations? I liked the Chicks coming in, I LOVED them going out. Great stage presence, quality sound, fun, touching... they covered it all. Natalie's voice is even stronger and more amazing in person, rarely can you say that about an artist. Chilling versions of "Top of the World," "Not Ready to Make Nice," and the heartbreaking "Travelling Soldier" brought the entire place to a breath-holding standstill. I embrace the opportunity to see these A-class performers again in the future.

The absolute best concert I EVER went to...I was just thinking about it today, years later and how amazing the experience was. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see them live again. I remember none of my friends at the time liked country...no, they wouldn't give country a chance because it wasn't "cool" and I went alone. The Dixie fans there did not make me feel alone at all! I was 19 yrs old at the time. They are breathaking live, so soulful and touching.

It was an unforgettable evening with the Chicks! I remember it was only days after the "Bush" comment made by Natalie Maines. This was important, because the 'incident ' played a large role in the feel of the atmosphere in that arena. All that attended were die hard Chicks fans, cause if you weren't you wouldn't be caught dead there. I was one of those that attended, I'm so glad I went. I will never forget Natalie Maines screaming and banging away on that acoustic (and banging her head), Martie Maguire singing melody/harmony while making that fiddle look like an extra appendage of her body, while Emily Robison, also singing harmony, picked at that Banjo like she'd been spewn out of the womb with it! Just amazing! Since that night I've attended 129 other concerts. And, by the time you've read this, it will most likely be a couple more. You could say, I'm a music junkie. But out of all those shows and concerts (which include artists such as Marilyn Manson, Van Morrison, Motley Crue, Allison Kraus and Foreigner), I can honestly say, the Dixie chicks were amongst my most memorable. A definite MUST see!!!!! (please go on tour again chicks...PLEASE!!!)

The Dixie Chicks are amazing musicians and entertainers. Their energy was incredible on this humid summer evening. They engaged the audience from the start. The crowd loved them, yelling, "I love you" along with much screaming and shouting. The multi-media screen effects were visually wonderful and corresponded nicely with the songs. One of the top three concerts I have seen in my lifetime! Don't miss them.

Concert was amazing, perfect night for being outdoors. Lighting and special effects, WOW. Music even better. Dixie Chicks were awesome! Acoustics left something to be desired, but they were still great. We had great seats, right in the middle,, main floor. A big hassle to get out of the parking lot, but nothing we couldn't handle. Glad we were sitting in the reserved seats, since it rained briefly. Food prices, outrageous. $13.50 for a beer, seriously?

My wife and I had great seats at the Forum. Unfortunately the sound was horrible. The bass was just a droning sound throughout and made the overall mix really bad. The Chicks appeared to be going thru the motions with phony smiles plastered on their faces. Natalie nearly lamented that she wasn't playing her solo album. Lesson learned: if a band is doing reunion tour after a long hiatus...if they have not released any new material...then it's just the search for more money tour.

I only started listening to them when Landslide crossed over to the rock station I listened to - a station with the guts to play "Not Ready to make Nice" when it came out. I went then to show the Chicks that they had gained fans as well as lost some. I went to this show because I was so impressed 10 years ago. There are not many songs that make me cry - and the Chicks have 2 - their tribute to Prince was mesmerizing. I have learned more of their songs in the intervening years - and enjoy them all. The same station also introduced me to Elle King, and I was looking forward to seeing her. She, too, was as good as I expected. I do need to get her songs so I can listen to the ones that were not played on the radio.

The show was absolutely amazing. It's like they were never gone. The Dixie Chicks looked and sounded wonderful. I loved the show so much, I'm going again to the Toledo show. Because we were VIP, my mom won the only pre show reception prize, an autographed set list and I got a guitar pick from the show. Sitting up front was the best part. Everything looked different, so clear and personal. My mom and I felt super important. Crossed off of Bucket List: to see my favorite musicians up close. After ten years of waiting, the Dixie Chick did not disappoint. Those three ladies are sounding better than ever. The harmonies and music were totally awesome. Elle King opened up and blew us away with her raw talent and you knew you were watching the real thing. Then when the three ladies came out to an awesome light show and walked up together, it got REAL!! Their talent was on display all night for over 2 hours. They played stuff from all 4 recordings. I especially enjoyed the songs from the last CD. They covered a tribute song from Prince and Beyoncé. The video screens complimented each song. I would see them again without a doubt.

Such talented ladies. Really enjoyed their show. Love that they brought a "gift" just for our state!
The concert was great! For them being on vacation for awhile they sure did sound amazing! Like if they had never been on vacation. They played a variety of their hits and some covers! They did an amazing job with the Beyoncé and Prince covers! I got chills! It was awesome to be apart of an amazing night with thousands of other fans. I wonder how the Chicks felt having every single person sing along to each song? I hope they know we've always loved them!
What an amazing evening with my family. my 4th Row seats were amazing. When the Red/White/Blue confetti came flying during Ready to Run and the presidential nominees were all over the big screen... Best dam moment of the whole night. Thank You Dixie Chicks for coming home and playing in Austin TX and please don't wait for another 10 years to return.
Ok, so I went up and saw the Dixie Chicks last night in Phoenix. And as I was hoping for, it did NOT turn out to be a political grandstanding concert. These girls are very passionate musicians, and they obviously have nothing but the utmost respect and love for their audience. There was only one cute and funny video playing on the big screen behind them during one of their songs...but it poked fun at both sides of this current elections cycle. The rest of the 2 hours and 20 minutes was all about great music, played flawlessly, and to a totally connected audience, who were singing along and just having a great time...including me. When you get down to it, those ladies are just musical Mom's who only want a peaceful world for their children to grow up in...that was the obvious message of the night. It was a great show, and I highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance.
I have seen the Dixie Chicks 4 times over the last 15 years and have always loved their shows. I even supported them after country radio disowned them for bashing our President while in Europe. I waited 10 years for them to come back to Phoenix and this show was NOT worth the wait. The ladies seemed to be miserable and kind of just phoning it in. 30 minutes into the concert, they turned one of their most popular songs into a political satire and that sentiment played out all the way til the very last song. I believe that we are all entitled to our opinions but I don't think a country music concert is the appropriate venue. If I wanted to get involved in a political debate, I would have gone to a rally. Instead, I paid hard earned money to go sing and dance to some of my favorite songs and was delivered a subpar performance interwoven with their liberal agenda. This was the end of a long relationship as I won't ever buy another album or attend another one of their concerts.
Hope they produce a new album. Too great talent and interpreter of songwriting and writers to not be in the current public arena. Dixie chicks, we're ready for you! Don't go away in the prime of your talented careers.
Even the PNW rain couldn't dampen the spirits of the Dixie Chicks. The ladies still put on an amazing show. They're upbeat, liberating, and hilarious. My girlfriends and I felt like we were 25 again!

So glad I was able to see the Dixie Chicks live, they were everything I imagined. The variety of music they played, the tributes to Prince and seeing their kids. The sets were amazing and the cinematography was beautiful. Their voices are still the same strong and clear. Just love them.

First time watching the Chicks in person. Awesome. The sound system was not excellent as vocal mics seemed to be imbalanced. But the performance was simply great. Martie and Emily were simply great musicians.

The Dixie Chicks concert was amazing. They did a mixture of songs from their many albums and did not disappoint! Would totally go to another concert by them. Also Elle King was the best opening act I have ever seen, I highly recommend buying her album also.

I was fortunate enough to see the DCX in Irvine and at the last night of their tour. Just amazing. I was in Terrace which was great on a lovely LA night. The set was very tight and similar to the Irvine show. The first numbers come fast and furious but then finally you hear from Natalie. I think she is a little gun shy about talking with all they have gone through but what she said was funny and welcomed. The graphics for each song really enhanced the experience. At the Bowl they opted for a Lana Del Rey cover with an unknown artist which was good but not a great as the Prince cover from the Irvine show. I understand that in October, a Prince tribute seems stale. For Landslide, they brought on their opening act, Elle King, who I had missed. She appeared to be drunk (to me) and was unprepared to perform a signature cover. Regardless, the Chicks themselves gave it all and fans left very ecstatic.

This was a very disappointing concert. The DC's played a lot of their new songs (I guess) that are boring, then they played other artist's music, and just a very few of their old hits. The music sounded more polished and not gritty/authentic like the old DC music, and the background videos were stupid. Did not take advantage of the beautiful capabilities of the Hollywood Bowls lighting, the whole thing was just boring and disappointing. We actually left early and we never do that. Sorry )-:

This was an encore performance to the Bay Area for the Dixie Chicks and they did not disappoint! We had a great time and they sound as good as ever! The only criticism is the acoustics of the music drowned out their voices through out the show, but still a great show! Played a lot of hits and a couple new ones.

An unforgettable night at the Hollywood Bowl! We traveled from Santa Fe NM to see the Chicks! They kept 18,000 guests on their feet dancing and singing to almost every song! It was one of the best concerts ever! I am hoping for new songs and the next concert.

What a show, I'll never forget. This was more than I was hoping for. I could feel the passionate joy from all of them and I had to have fun just being there with them. They were contagious. So happy I was there.

They played an incredible set that included several songs from Fly, Home, and Taking the Long Way and only one from Wide Open Spaces. However, they did several awesome cover songs and had amazing visuals. They even got Elle King to join in on Landslide.

I took my wife to the Hollywood Bowl for the Dixie Chicks concert for her birthday this week. These women are so incredibly talented, that I was actually distracted by the special effects, flashing lights, etc. I guess intended to make it more of a "rock" ambiance. So my favorite songs of the night was when it was just them with simple backgrounds, allowing their immense talents to be highlighted. I respect these musician/singers/songwriters as leaders for women on how to live powerfully and courageously. Thank you, Dixie Chicks!

Beautiful southern California night and wonderful concert. These musicians are good, fun and the music was worth the trip from Fresno. The addition of Elle King made it even better...thanks DCX for your music and your passions.
