Great vibes, friendly staff and amazing talent. Who could ask for more?! Great venue!

Firstly, I travelled from Charlotte to San Francisco for this event and so I had high expectations. These in fact were surpassed the moment I entered the venue. The security and entry inside the civic center was seamless, the concession stands were great and compared to other events that take "pearls", these took actual cash money! How great is that! The sound was amazing as well! No useless echo and reverb issues like other venues here. Now the main part: The lineup couldn't have been better! Paul Van Dyk, Cosmic Gate, Aly & Fila and Gareth Emery's sets at Dreamstate SF were the best sets I have ever witnessed. Ever! This is trance in its purest form and I will be back next year. 'Till then, Hasta La Vista Trancers!

What an amazing event! If you love trance, or music with a lot of energy and an u forgettable crowd with good vibes, Dreamstate is the place you wanna be! Great productiom value, amazing sound. Bill Graham was an absolutely phenominal event venue! Overall 10/10!

I've been going to insomniac events for almost 10 years and this was one of my most favorite events of all time. Everything about it was amazing!

Amazing trance music and nothing but good vibes both nights. I have nothing bad to say because Dreamstate delivered its definitely worth the money and you will have so many amazing memories

It's been to long we haven't had a real trance events n I'm I so happy for this event to happen a dream come true for Trance Lovers, we just been getting nothing but House music, but my ticket the first day when it was released. I'm hopping for more events like this n hopping it can b a bigger stage.

The music was killer, but the vibe really made this festival special to me. Multigenerational, international crowd of trance fans who were all willing to meet new people and share their love of the music. If I could change anything, it would simply to have more! (Maybe a hard/psytrance stage and a more pure/classic stage?)

Best event I've been to. Insomniac did a wonderful job with production, quick entry, free water stations, on site parking, and a stellar lineup.

The music was fantastic and the people I met are so nice! The production was impressive indeed! Great music, high energy from the mostly polite crowd, great dancing. There was only one stage but it suited me just fine. Got to see the entire lineup. It was easy to get to the front, since it was such a small event. Probably only 5,000 people. Beware though, NOS center is in an unsafe area. I heard about people getting their backpacks slashed and phones, etc stolen inside the venue. Some people who parked in the surrounding neighborhood got their cars broken into as well.

Absolutely amazing. One of the best events I've been to. 10/10 crowd, 10/10 production, 10/10 music.

Insomniac absolutely put together an unforgettable event. The stage production, the sound, the people, the venue were all top notch. The lasers were AWESOME!! Dreamstate was a complete success in every way & I have a feeling it will be around for many years to come. I wish it could stay as small and intimate as it was but I know that growing is inevitable.

Dreamstate was the best festival that I have ever experienced!! Trance trance trance!!!

Perfect night. Only thanking that could be improved would be 2 stages so the DJs can play longer sets. 1 hour sets do not permit a DJ to show his true skills as an artist.

I hope I am able to attend this show every single year. It was the best festival I've ever attended. It's small enough to walk around, and large enough dance in, and also wasn't too crowded. The laser show was amazing and the system sounded good. Attendees were all nice and friendly. There is food, free water, and good drinks. Security and staff were really nice and I can't wait for it to be November 2016. I feel in love with this event.

I've been going to concerts (and Insomniac events) for a long time and I can honestly say Dreamstate SF was right up there near the top. Everything was absolutely perfect. The venue, talent and crowd were all top notch. Can't wait for their next edition of this wonderful event.

Overall, the event was magical and stunning with the LED production and stage presence. The vibes of the event were beautiful and everyone had such a good time.

The production and crowd were amazing! I never thought seats at a rave would be a good idea but man was I wrong!

Two days of unbelievable experiences. I'll start with the easy stuff - the production was so perfect. Best lights I've probably ever seen. Music levels were good, perhaps a touch loud but I'd say it was right on. The venue!! Bill Graham is such a perfect venue. Lots of space. Balcony views were awesome too. The crowd was my favorite part. Of course Trance shows grab an amazing, loving crowd. This one more than usual. People were friendly, I had lots of space to dance the whole time. Never got too uncomfortable. This was a weekend I'll remember forever. Just such an amazing weekend, with new friends and old, and with amazing music.

One of the best shows I've been to in a long time!!! The production was crazy, and venue is cool. Liked that there's seating just in case you wanna sit and it gives you a different perspective to the show.

I actually wasn't able to make this event I was greatly hoping for! I was soo excited and then realized my job had to transfer me back to my hometown right before. I was glad to give my ticket away to a random stranger because that's what trance and love is, sharing kindness with others. The woman who received my ticket was very greatful and had a wonderful time. And that's all I could have wished for. I will be going next year for sure!(:

I enjoyed Dreamstate SF more then the first Dreamstate (didn't think it would be possible). I liked the venue better (no porto-potties outside in the cold). Check-in was so much easier. Hotels were closer to the venue. Music sets were better in my opinion. Better seating/relaxation areas.

I wasn't expecting the show to blow my mind like it did. The production could not be more perfect! Can't wait for the next DREAMSTATE

The vibe was incredible and the production was top notch. I'll never forget it. The music was pumping and awesome from start to finish.

Dreamstate was absolutely unforgettable. There were some technical difficulties in the beginning of the first day, but once it was figured out, the rest was history. It was straight trance heaven over the weekend. At one point, I realized I was smiling so much...my face was sore! Ohh, and lasers....lots of lasers.

What a sensational vibes all weekend long, didn't hear too much about pushy people or anything negative. You can feel the love from everyone and the welcoming they gave! Was an epic two night! Host Dreamstate again!

I used to LOVEEE trance and fell out of it for quite a long time. Decided to give it another try and I absolutely loved it! The energy and the vibes were also amaze! The production and lasers were great. Slight delay of about 15 min from door opening time to get in to the SF BILL GRAHAM event. Felt bad for the people that had lined up very early but were stuck in the rain. I wish I could have done two days, but had to adult!

Insomniac really outdid themselves on this one. From the phenomenal production, to the music which couldn't have been more perfect. This event makes you realize that all the trance you hear at other festivals doesn't even scratch the surface of true trance. The vibes were fantastic and I just want to go back

Since my husband and I are starting a family next year I'm taking a break from raving for awhile. DreamState was the perfect place to pause my rave career. Friday night was fine, it wasn't quite my taste in Trance but it satisfied. Saturday though---WOW! Every set was awesome, my stand outs were: Rank 1, John O'Callahan, Kearny. The people were friendly, it was an intimate venue, and staff were all professional (Minus one security guy on Friday who made me husband throw away sealed eye drops and sealed wipes. He obviously has never had the pleasure of using a toilet without toilet paper.) I will say the "filtered" water, which never tastes great but I can tell is filtered, tasted like straight up hose water. Thank god it wasn't hot outside and the crowd wasn't too big because I drank that sparingly. They didn't accept cards at the alcohol stands, but an ATM was available. In closing, 10/10 would go again. I'm happy to say I was at the first, and maybe in a few years I'll make my way back and rejoin my Trance Family; it was a great crowd and while there were some thefts still, overall it was a positive vibe and a great experience. OH-and parking was $15-so I parked down the street for free. Less than a 10 minute walk, didn't have to deal with crowds, and my car was intact when I came back.

Absolutely the event I have been to by Insomniac. Music was spot on and the crowd was amazing. People were friendly, never was too packed, even up front. The venue was the perfect size and the speaker setup by the outside lounge area was perfect. Never worried about missing a moment. This could easily be a yearly tradition for me and next time I am dragging my friends with me!

The event was amazing. Everything was great. Only thing I would change is the fact that doors open at 5 and the artists start at 5. So if you're waiting in line you might miss 30 minutes of a performance. I'd recommend opening doors 30 minutes to an hour earlier to allow those that want to see the opening act.

Dreamstate was the best festival I've ever been to, hands down. 20 hours of pure bliss.

Overall an outstanding experience to say the least. It was trance at its finest with perfect lighting, visuals, setting, and general vibe. I couldn't have been happier about this event. It was my favorite I've been to so far.

ALL TRANCE = AMAZING. ALL THE DJS = AMAZING. It was simply one the best events I have ever been to. It wasn't too crowded and the music was simply unbelievable. Having one stage meant you saw every single DJ be great.

I'm looking forward to the next rendition of Dreamstate for Socal and hopefully again at the NOS events center in SB. Brings back memories of the bigger festivals being held there. This festival was absolutely incredible. Finally just a trance festival I've been waiting for this. The lineup was seriously amazing. The people working the festival were really nice and helpful. I really loved that free water was offered as well. As a festival goer that is a must! The atmosphere was really magical as well finally a festival for just trance fans wow! The only downside was it was really cold. I know the air was on since all of the dancing and the djs. But I was so freezing my nose was running. Other than that amazing! I will be coming back!

Trance is my true love and this lineup was so siiiiick!!! I danced all night with other trance lovers and was so in my element- so sad it's over!! The only thing is it was freeeeezing cold and insomniac did not let us in at 4:30 as promised so I was standing in shorts in 40 degree weather for an hour dying as I waited to go in. The heaters barely worked and there were no heated tents at all. All the doors to the venue were open so it was at best 55 inside. Except for the chill factor, the festival was miraculous and the music was a piece of heaven. The best trance lineup under one roof I have ever seen. As long as Insomniac works out the cold issue- aka check the weather and provide what they should accordingly- then all will be forgiven. HIGHLY recommend, an experience of a lifetime!!

WOW. What a BEAUTIFUL weekend. I am so honored to be apart of this trance history and meet as many dreamers as I did. I have been dreeaamminng of an event as such and it finally came true, after all these years. Thank you, PasqualeRotella for once again, making dreams come true. I sure hope there is a Dreamstate stage at EDC. I am so incredibly thankful for being apart of history. WE ARE APART OF THE FIRST DREAMSTATE IN THE STATES!!! & to the love of my life, THANK YOU for the best surprise a girl can ever ask for. (As we all know, he currently moved to Chicago a few weeks ago to take care of some family business. I bought my ticket during first tier presales (months ago). We both knew he wouldn't be in Cali at that time, reason I only bought one ticket. I was busting a solo mish. On Thursday, before the event, he called me late afternoon to tell me to pick him up at LAX Friday morning. I said, uhm, what? He then responded by letting me know he was going to Dreamstate with me!!! & he bought a DS ticket and flight that night! Again, BEST SURPRISE EVER!!) Anyway, I can go on and on about how amazing and magical this weekend was. I hope everyone that attended had an amazing time. This was the best weekend ever. This event really had an old school rave feel to it, and everybody in the trance scene is so open and friendly. I recommend this event to anybody. My friend went to this event as his first ever, and fell in love as well.

Totally awesome event. There is a difference when attending a Trance event. People are more friendly, more mature, and more responsible. We smile at each other and high fiving each other. Everyone are in good vibes because we know we just come here to listen to some Trance and have a good time. Definitely one of the best event to go to.

I had a great time and all the staff were very nice. I'm surprised that I was the last expectator (customer) that walked out of the building and escorted by nice staff.

The production compared to last year was definitely an improvement. The stage, visuals, and dancers were unreal. Both days were tons of fun with lots of room to dance. Sunday was definitely the day to go, the lineup and performance by each artist was great. I've been to every single Dreamstate LA and SF show, and this one tops them all for me. Can't wait for next year!

Music was fantastic and the people are very friendly. A lot of hot babes, too.

Went there for the 2 day event was the best. First day cool everything was good nice opening, but the 2nd day was even better plus the 28th was my birthday made it really special.

The organizer set the DJ start times perfectly. Stage Lightning and dancers were fabulous. Will certainly come back next year!

For all dance music fans, this event is amazing. Loved how the event had multiple bars and food stands, loved the spacious lounge area. Also, bathrooms were opened on each floor level. This event does not restrict who gets to go on the dance floor, everyone gets to roam free up and down the floors, I would have to say that is a major thumbs up!

After the line-up was announced, we knew to expect a great time. However, the venue was perfect for this event. From the main floor, to the seated upper level to rest and take in the entire experience. The staff was great and accommodating. Thank you for a great event!

Good overall rave but felt like it could have been more

One of my favorites events I have been to in a long time. So much PLUR and energy in the crowd, it was unforgettable. All the djs had amazing sets, ranging from uplifting trance to progressive/hard trance. Would not hesitate to go again.

my friend and i visited san francisco just for this special event. It was our first time at dream state at SF, so had no idea what to expect, except the fact that it was one stage in an indoor venue. We were pleasantly surprised that the venue was so large, yet still had a small and intimate feeling. The sound quality was fantastic, the laser and light shows were insane, and the crowd was energetic and fun to be around. Definitely looking forward to next years show. Suggestion for 21 + only and NOT 18 and up. Also, wished the show went until 2 am. 1 am is too early to shut down any music event. Great job insomniac. LOVE the music, the lights, the people, the overall vibe

This event was a dream come true. What started out as a spontaneous weekend trip from northern Idaho to meet up with friends in SF ended up being the most magical weekend. Security moved quickly- no more than 15 minutes in line Night 1, and less than 5 the second night. Dreamstate was full of beautiful, positive people, and the music and special effects/lighting were breathtaking. Dreamstate is a trance heaven realized, and I can't recommend it enough.

I would definitely recommend this to electrionic music lovers ! It was amazing. The people were great. The music was phenomenal and the light effects were simply out of this world!

I loved this event almost as much as the first Dreamstate in Southern California. Worthy Successor, excellent music, and pleasant crowd. Didn't have the same feel as the Southern California, but I enjoyed the experience overall.

As someone who grew up listening to trance music this event was extremely important to me. And after it was over it was also the best event I've been too thus far. And probably will be until the next Dreamstate I attend. This genre has the best people that support it and you can feel the good vibes as soon as you walk in. I love trance stages because there's always room to dance and everyone respects everyone's space. The artists were names who I'd hoped would be at an event like this as well. From the environment, the venue is my favorite to go too, the talent, and all the trancefamily I got to meet. This event was just perfection. 110/100 !!

This has truly been one of the most life changing experiences i have ever had. The perfect utopia. I hope for Dreamstate to continue to return to San Francisco. This was a beautifully well organized event. I don't think I would go to anything else except this. I am so happy that the trance community in the Bay Area is finally getting the attention we need. A beautiful event for a beautiful city with beautiful people. Truly this was heaven on earth. Better than EDCLV. I wish every event could be this wonderful, so much love was there. A hope once lost was found. Our souls rejuvenated through unity and music. Please bring Dreamstate back to San Francisco again!
