Fun family-friendly football. Arena football isn't exactly the greatest sport, but there is a lot of scoring, which adds excitement. The Sabercats are a good team. I would go again.

We had a great time at the Sabercats game. I took my kid and his buddy, at the last minute his dad also wanted to come so we bought a fourth ticket through ticketmaster and the Arena staff made sure that we were able to switch our group tickets so that we could all sit together. Great family fun, especially for the kids, my son who is a huge star wars fan said he would rather go to another game than watch a star wars movie, high praise from him.

unbelievable game!! the sabercats might have been gone for 2 years but they didnt skip a beat! HP Pavilion was electric! every loyal fan was back to cheer em on and we got to witness yet another sabercats victory! the new players and cheerleaders are awesome and took their time to sign autographs and take pics after the game. I went because my daughter loves the Sabercats we had seat at the goal lower level I paid the price for them but as the game started people from the upper deck came down and decided that since no one was using the seats they were going to use them and I did not feel that was cool. Other than that my Daughter had a great time at the game.

Had great seats in the fifth row, middle of the field. First I was not impressed because we were just behind the players who stood up much of the time, but we saw enough to enjoy. Was fun, noisy, but exciting. Was great people watching on the screen overhead and directly. I recommend sitting back a few more rows to get better over all viewing.

My daughters and I used to be season ticket holders but moved out of the area. We were back in town and decided to watch our old team. Worst game I had ever watched. We left at half-time with about half the crowd.

The Sabercats are probably done for this year. They had absolutely no answer for the Spokane passing game. They have to play Chicago there and after that game they will have knocke themselves out of the playoff pickure.

No one I know has ever been to a Sabercats game, but all knew about them. Met a girl who said we had to go on a date that wasn't predictable. San Jose is a perfect location to eat a great meal outdoors and talk, then walk in the warm summer breeze to the Sabercats game where there is plenty of action to keep everyone entertained, but is quiet enough to hold conversation easily. Game was great, lots of hits. I will be back with friends to watch another. Non-stop action and entertainment with a football taste. Lot of fun

My husband and I took five 11 year old boys to the game to celebrate my son being promoted to middle school. The boys were having so much fun. They loved the slap sticks that were given out at the seats. My husband and son go to every home game and try to take a least one of my sons friends with them. We hope that they go home and tell their family and friends how much fun they have watching the Sabercats. We want the Sabercats and the rest of the arena football to be around for a long time. The boys not only love watching the game, they also love to watch the Saberkittens. They also enjoy meeting the players and the cheerleaders at the end of the game.

Despite a couple of very uncharacteristic interceptions, the 'Cats played a great game. The defense really stepped up and sacked the Kansas City Quarterback (former De La Salle QB Matt Gutierrez) several times. Lots of big plays on defense (Including a blocked kick) made for a very exciting game. Arena football is designed to entertain the fans, and this game lived up to that for sure.

#1 - WAAAAAAY too loud. Even the kids in our group were covering their ears. I think more people would come if it was more like an actual sport than a bunch of gimmicks and noise. There is too much noise and filler and not enough game. It is like a circus versus a sporting event.

Arena football is always a fun experience. The speed of the game always makes it more interesting than NFL. A lot more goes on during the game than a regular NFL game. I would recommend Arena football to anyone who wants to experience something different.

Terrific entertainment! So close to the action it's like 4D with the players and ball flying right at you. Fast paced and very little down time. The players are exciting to watch and hang around after the game for autographs. The HP Pavilion is a great place with all the amenities you could want. I will definitely be going again.

Checked out the San Jose Sabercats season opener last Saturday. It was my girlfriend's first Arena Football game and it did not disappoint. We arrived 30 minutes early and found free parking on the street near HP Arena. There was no line at the Will Call window and I got my Lower Level tickets in two minutes-we were in our seats just in time for the team intro, the fireworks and coach Darrin Arbet's and two former player's AFL Hall of Fame presentation...I was surprised to see a lot of empty seats, though... The Sabercats trailed all game long and somehow went into overtime. The Arizona Rattlers went for a winning 2-point conversion right in front of us, but it was "Shut Down Time." Love my Sabercats, the Bay Area's best-kept secret.

Attended the San Jose SaberCats home game against the Arizona Rattlers and I left thoroughly satisfied. The San Jo totally dominated previously unbeaten Arizona, who they will probably meet again in the playoffs. I thought the crowd was somewhat sparse considering the importance of the game. Also, I can usually easily find free parking on the street near the arena, but the street was marked "No Parking" on both sides. I still found a free spot. :-) SaberCats games are a hella fun good time at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this event...

We were right on the field....great seats...and even talked to players and coaches on the sidelines. Perfect spot for autograph signing after the game. This brand if football is fast, high scoring, fan friendly and very engaging. No TV time-outs or need for binoculars...and a lot of fans walk out with footballs thrown out of bounds. How many fans at NFL games can say that?

Any SaberCat fan would agree, this should have been played at SAP. For whatever reason (we weren't told why, different rumors went around) they had to move it. Despite all that, we still had a great time. Seats were good, most of the staff was super friendly. Only downside, SUPER long wait for concessions. 30 minutes! Parking was easy, and a decent price, although the outside and surrounding part of the arena (neighborhood) leaves a lot to be desired, the inside was nice. LOVE the LONG windows inside.

Second time we brought our grandkids to a saberCats game. It is almost as affordable as going to a movie and they love the action as well as the excitement of a sporting event. There is always something going on. Great game, great show. Thanks guys

This event was my second arena football game and both coming this season. The Sabercats are having a fine season as usual and are playoff bound again. I didn't know what to expect being at SAP CENTER for a football game but I came out impressed. Sabercats defeated the now 14-1 Arizona Rattlers, I enjoyed the pregame pyro, my water bottle handout at the entrance. Once again SAP delivered in entertainment and now I am becoming a new diehard fan!

Seeing the SaberCats was awesome for several reasons. It's great watching a hard fought football game, but the atmosphere in the arena was like no sporting event I've ever been to. The announcer, players, coaches and fans were all hyped to be there and it made the experience much more enjoyable than watching in a quiet stadium.

The game was great. Though smaller than regulation NFL, it kept us riveted the whole time. My fiancé and I are not big football fans, but after watching this AFL game, we looked into buying more tickets. Smaller, but not any less fun. Score was high, but the field is only 50yards long. Hopefully next time we'll get to see a field goal done by drop kick! We can't wait to go back!

James Roe didn't single-handedly beat AFL National Conference Central Division leaders, but he did make a thrilling one handed catch to help defeat the decidedly out matched Rush. After Chicago started the game with a opening play touch down, the Cats excited the crowd with a blocked point after safety, then went on to play almost mistake free football. Fun football!
