Everything about the event was fantastic! Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate were both (as expected) phenomenal. The El Rey Theatre was wonderful, everything was perfect. They had valet parking for $10, which was really convenient. The venue was small(ish) which made for a nice intimate experience, and it was sold out but not over-packed. They did start about an hour late.

Tiny venue, a little run down. Sound system was poor, the mix was off and one of the mic's was way too low. Probably the best show I've ever seen due to Andrew McMahon's energy, songs and both bands clear enjoyment in playing together. They looked like they were having so much fun, the fans could feel it and drew us into in. Every song was one you knew, played the way you remember, except a stirring version of "Swim" done "acoustically". The inside comments and stories to his friends in the loge made you feel like you were part of something special. If you ever get a chance to see Andrew alone, or with Jack's or SoCo, do yourself a favor and pay any price to get a ticket!

Andrew McMahon is simply one of the most incredible artists of our time. His talent surpasses every expectation a concert-goer could ever hope for. Personally, he extends himself to meet with each person who is blessed enough to wait in the long lines, as most folks don't want to miss the opportunity to speak with this gentle man, have treasured items signed, and get a photo to capture the moment he is always so gracious to flash his beyond shining smile for! Needless to say, Andrew McMahon will remain in my heart eternally! :)

Andrew McMahon is an amazing musician and he puts on an unbelievable live show. His raw energy and passion on stage is out of this world. Although I was sad when he ended Jack's Mannequin, after going to this show I believe that it was for the best. It no longer limits him; it was so wonderful having a mixture of Something Corporate songs, Jack's Mannequin songs, and new songs from his solo career. The set list was pretty much perfect. I am excited for Andrew's upcoming EP and to see where he his headed musically. I am sure he will continue to make brilliant music. I have seen Andrew before and I plan on seeing him again, I would highly recommend listening to his music going to one of his shows! The crowd was great, too; I love how much Andrew's music really creates a sense of community in the room.

This was hands down one of the most unique and entertaining concerts I have seen - ever! I have been lucky enough to see Andrew perform many times throughout the years, and I was still so impressed at this creative approach, use of the living room set and dialogue to organically transition between acts. I love that I got to know some of the guys that have been playing with him better, and all in all, they just sounded amazing together. The sound quality was superb. I wish I would relive the night!

I went to his concert awhile back, also at the Fillmore and loved the concert. He was a great performer and played all of my favorite songs from the new album, and from Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. I know that the acoustic evening would be good because he's an amazing singer and performer and it blew my mind. He is amazing armed with just the piano and the set decorations and his interactions with the other two were hilarious and had me laughing. The song High Dive means a lot to me and a recent relationship and when I heard it, it brought me to tears.

Andrew McMahon was nothing less than wonderful, and the show was so well done. It was a lovely surprise that Zac Clark, Bob Oxblood, and Allen Stone were all there to perform with Andrew, and also perform some of their own solo music. I have been a fan of Andrew since his Something Corporate days. This show was very different than his typical shows as it was billed as "An Acoustic w/Andrew McMahon and Friends." Rather than have an opening act set Andrew opened the show with a Mister Rogers homage and then played three songs (one from the Wilderness, one from Jack's Mannequin and one from Something Corporate). After that he slowly brought in the "friends" (Zac Clark, Bob Oxblood, Allen Stone) in to the "house" and would intermittently leave to allow them to play a few of their own songs. Then Andrew would come back in and sing songs from all three of his bands. It was a fun show that really showcased all of their vocal talent as well as feeling intimate and nostalgic all at once. I was glad to have caught this show.

This is my third time seeing Andrew McMahon and he did not disappoint. Honestly, I think he sounds better live than he does recorded on an album. Andrew also has a great stage presence and is always interactive with the crowd. This time he ventured off the stage and was dancing in the aisles with the audience. I also appreciate that on this tour he has incorporated other artists who are not typically in his band into the show and even allows them time to play their own songs. All in all it was a great show! I also love the venue. Being out under the stars is a awesome way to experience live music. And Ford Theater is so small and intimate, there s really not a bad seat in the house.

All the performers for the evening were so talented, it was crazy. The venue was beautiful, the music was killer, and the way the show was setup was interesting. There was no opener. It was on a set like a play, Andrew came out, played some songs alone, and then his "friends" came over to play along. Just incredible and introduced me to new music I hadn't heard before. I feel like more shows should be done this way - as an evening of music as opposed to a bunch of bands playing sets.

Andrew McMahon was amazing, but we already knew that. Allen stone, Zac Clark, and Bobby Oxblood put it over the top They re all great musicians, but the vocal harmonies were spot on. Some of the skit stuff was a tiny bit over the top, but it was pretty funny and very enjoyable. Ford Theaters was the perfect venue for this show. It was a beautiful night outside. When the crowd started singing along, the way it echoed made it feel like we were all singing with one voice. This one will stay with me for a long time.

Andrew McMahon's Pen & Piano Tour - he describes as VH1 Storytellers meets Mr Rogers, an apt description except he forgot to mention how lovely the vocals were in this delightfully quirky show that also included Zac Clark, Bob Oxblood, and Allen Stone. (Random sidebar: I remembered Zac from KROQ Acoustic Xmas as to heavily resembling Dr. Teeth from the Muppets and I was overjoyed to find he still is rocking the beard, hair, and hat, because being a real life Muppet is a total win in my book). Supposedly there are 1400 seats in this new-to-me venue, but it felt much smaller. We will definitely be looking to catch another show @ Humphreys!

To start the venue for the concert was great. The only thing I would say that I thought was not so great was that the chairs were all zip tied together, so any extra room a larger person may need would not normally be available. Lucky for me the seats next to me were not taken, so I was able to stretch my legs a bit more, #winning. The size of the venue was what I like to consider somewhat intimate for an outside stage. All seats in the house provided an excellent view and could heart from the back nearly just as good as in the front, where I just happened to be. As for Andrew and the rest of the artists in this show, I would give them a 10/10. The show was approximately 3 hours but it didn't draw out like a bad movie trying to get to the good parts. The beginning was well thought out and reminded me of my childhood when I used to watch Mr. Rogers on PBS. I thought he did a good job there. As for Zac Clark and Bob Oxblood, those guys knew how to put on a good show. I had never heard either before this day and I was pleasantly surprised as they provided excellent harmonies and pretentious backstory to the play that was taking place. The concert was more like a musical that I could watch over and over again. The real reason I went to this concert was because of Allen Stone. I was actually getting kind of bummed until about the midway point because It was Allen Stone lacking. When he came out though, man was I in for a real treat. He tore the house down! I know a majority of his music, so I would often try to sing along. The way he sang that night was like everything I hoped it would be. With that and the fact that I grew interest into the other three artists, I felt that the concert was super duper and I would definitely go again. Thanks TIG events for putting on a good show. Thank you Humphrey's for keeping such a good venue.

After 15 years of seriously love for Andrew McMahon's work I finally was able to see him in concert. And oh my goodness, it was even better than I could have dreamed. Even though I prefer his Jack's and SoCo work, the performances for his Wilderness songs were phenomenal and there was just enough of his older work mixed in to satisfy us long-time fans. Andrew McMahon's voice was just as smooth and beautiful live (even when he was falling off an inflatable dragon!). Andrew Mcmahon was very good, lots of fun and charisma on stage. Atlas Genius was subpar, the music was forgettable and they obviously didn't have the interest of the crowd. I wouldn't pay to see them again. Oh and the lights in the crowd's face the entire performance? Why, why would they do that? Night Riots were great, it's hard to say if I liked Andrew McMahon or Night Riots better, their music was captivating and the crowd obviously loved them.

I have seen Andrew McMahon before in all of his different musical endeavors. I was a little worried about a co-headlining tour. He did not disappoint though! New Politics was super engaging and entertaining. Even if their music isn't your cup of tea, there is no way you could not be entertained by what was happening on the stage. Andrew McMahon came on last. He was full of energy and excitement since this was the last night of the tour. He played music from his first band, Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, Synesthesia from his solo project, and lots from his new album/ project Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Every song was a sing-a-long. It was great to see the nostalgia in all the fans (me included) as he played a nice piano version of "Punk Rock Princess." The show overall included GREAT music and a really fun time. I can't wait to see him again!

The overall line-up was terrific. Started off with LoLo and then Griswolds. Both did a great job and set the mood for the rest of the show and evening. We were at the show mainly for Andrew but New Politics co headlined the show and now we're fans of NP as well. The ensemble for the entire show was well paired. Andrew and his band did a knock-out job. They were full of energy and performed many of their news songs from the album. Andrew also took us back to the days of Jacks Mannequinn so that was terrific. I say go check this show out if you can. Still quite a few show dates here along the West Coast.

I am only familiar with his newest album and play it almost daily. Every song is thoughtful and heart felt. I was amazed to find out he was playing in town. He is passionate, energetic and an excellent piano player. He played the newest album as well as songs from his former one. Each style was different but it was a good mix. He is personable and unassuming...a real talent and story teller. I can't wait to see him again.

This concert was so much fun, bouncy balls, parachute games and energy!! Plus the music was great. Andrew played songs from all his bands and the crowd was happy and responsive. He stayed afterwards to sign and take pictures w/ his fans. I would definitely go see him again.

The venue was great and Andrew is a very humble but engaging performer. The music has such a sound and quality that you can't forget and can't get enough of.

This was my 8th Andrew McMahon show since the summer and he just keeps getting better and better! I liked how Sherman Theater had three doors to enter into the main area, that way we didn't kill each other to get to the front. The sound system was great. There wasn't much waiting time before the first band went on. I would totally come back here again in a heartbeat.

Andrew played a mix of SoCo and Jacks favorites in addition to songs from his new album, "Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness". It was great. His high energy singing is as strong as ever. It's a don't miss concert!!

He is always amazing! I've been a fan since I was first introduced about 12 years ago. The back up vocalist was so talented! I loved him in Cecilia & the Satellite. Killed it. I love how Andrew is always so consistent. This is the third time I've seen him & he kicks ass every time. Thanks for the good time.

Undoubtably the Dear Jack's Benefit was amazing on all levels. Junior Prom & Hunter Hunted deserves a major high-five and shout out for bringing the energy to Brooklyn - new fan! Andrew never disappoints with his passion, charisma and humor. The crowd was on fire, singing every word to every song (they ever heard) - but the In the AMITW gang blew the roof off when for one night and one night only our teenage hearts burst with those first few notes of Konstantine, a rare and cherished moment the 14 year old inside me will hold onto forever. "Here's to new beginnings!"

This was possibly the best show I've ever been to. Andrew sang a good mix of his solo stuff, Something Corporate songs and Jack's Mannequin songs. He had a LOT of crowd participation. He crowd surfed twice on a big inflatable duck raft and spread out one of those big rainbow parachutes you had in gym class over the audience and then got underneath it in the crowd with us while singing a song. He hugged everyone and let everyone sing with him. He is truly a great performer, even if I didn't know any of his songs, it would still be a great show to see.

Easily one of the top 5 concerts I've been to! You can tell that he really cares that you care about your experience.Great crowd interaction from crowd surfing on a giant inflatable duck to joining the audience for a dance party under a giant school days parachute. Would highly recommend seeing him live even if you've not heard his work and are just a music fan in general. This was a reschedule from earlier in the year and he made a point to apologize and thank his Dallas fans for keeping their tickets, seems like a stand up guy all around. Opening acts Arizona and The Greeting Committee were excellent as well. Highly recommend going to see them as well if you can!

Although Andrew McMahon in the wilderness is a wonderful performer, I attended this event specifically to see Atlas Genius. I brought my 12 year old son with me, because he is a fan of Night Riots. All three put on a fantastic show. I loved watching Night Riots and Andrew McMahon join the final song of Atlas Genius's set, as well as members from both bands joining Andrew on stage to perform. The best part of the night was actually meeting Atlas Genius and Night Riots after the show. My son is over the moon, still, and has said this is one show he will never forget.

Working in the entertainment industry, I have seen MANY concerts and this was the absolute best, hands down. So much energy and got the whole crowd involved moment after moment. I've seen artists who phone it in on the last show of the tour - not Andrew McMahon. Can't wait until his next tour!

Andrew McMahon was amazing as always. This was my third time seeing him perform and I have never been let down, though Topgolf is a bit of an odd venue. They played some old favorites from the Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin days along with a few cover songs and many new songs. Overall, amazing fun upbeat show.

Andrew McMahon was amazing! He played for almost two hours and I could have listened to him even longer! The only thing I would change is a shorter set list for the two openers...together they played for about 1.5 hours.

The show was AWESOME from the first note to the last. He played songs from all of his albums and kept the crowd entertained by moving around the stage and crowd surfing. It was everything I was expecting, and more. Easily one of my favorite shows.
