The mic's were horrible, the acts were late, juvenile stayed on waay too long, slick rick and doug e fresh came on the last 15 min of a 4hr show!! Slick was drunk or high or something. ...he slurred through two songs. ...poor doug e....he had to alter the speed of his beats to meet the sluggish rhymes of rick, and the last song was rushed bc the show ended at 12...the best part of the show was Mc lightfoot....I would have paid just to see him act a fool...so disappointed....I was really looking forward to seeing slick, doug, whoodini, and kane....the other acts could have stayed home....they are not real hip hop....not old school anyway.

The show was amazing, it was absolutely the best New Year's I've ever had in my life. I wish I could go back and do it all over again, I can't believe it seemed like it ended so fast....the sound system was super loud, the performances were all great....Scarface did the entire Mary Jane track...Juvenile did the entire back that azz up track, Slick Rick and Doug e Fresh did the The Show and La di da di entirely man.... it surpassed everything I expected and I'll always remember it

Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh we're the primary draw but Whodini stole the show. I dont know why Whodini cant use the group name so they are listed as the two members individual names. So I was pleasantly surprised when they performed. Many of the artists cut songs short which was kind of annoying when it's your favorite but I guess thats what they do from time to time. Beyond that, there was a lot of smoking in the stadium, and it would have been nice if security could have decreased it somehow.

From the opening act Yusha Assad, to Devin, to Scarface, to WHAT Band. This was the best the multi artist show I've been to in years. Usually you arrive late because you're not concerned with every artist on the show, but this was different. I enjoyed the entire show!! The energy in the building was crazy all night. No drama, all love/partying filled the atmosphere.

First of all the venue was not what I expected. Ticket Master said Newark Syphony Hall not some side room talent show. Anyway I got to the event and they made us wait outside for a hour & and a half. That wasn't so bad but then we finally get in and it's amateur hour at best for almost 3 hrs until chinx, maino and then Scarface finally took the stage @ 11pm. Face did a very nice job shelling out his platnuim hits left and right. I was in stage and in the front row do security was not a big deal they didn't even know who was with who's entourage. My tix was for row C but I just walked my way to the front row dead center stage and stayed there all night. Overall I had a ok time during amateur hour but I had a once in a life time blast when Face took the stage. We hugged and sang songs well into tbe night until the promoters kicked us out. If your going to a show at this venue please ask if it's in the main stage arena hall cause we were sitting in a wedding hall next door.

My first time ever seeng Face live and I must say he did not disappoint. The promoters didn't do a good job promoting this event so the turnout was minuscule bug that was great for me and my crew. We were at the stage shaking his hand and flowing with the music. Face killed it, PERIOD!!!!!!! I will go see him again and hopefully longer this time. One of the best ever, had to be the best live performance I've seen yet.

The "concert" supposedly started at 8PM. We waited around until 11:30 and the concert hadn't even started yet. I actually had to leave since I had to work the next day. So I spent money to sit at a club and watch rap videos for 3 and a half hours. I want my money back.

The concert was my first ever. I enjoyed the older crowd. It was chill. Everyone was in their own zone, vibing. The tickets were affordable.The venue was spacious. I did not like the sound system at first. I kept hearing an echo, It went away eventually. The host was hilarious! he had me laughing between acts. I highly recommend it, if you enjoy that genre of hip hop. I am excited and cant wait till next year!!!!!!! I am still hyped..... A night I will never forget.

It was really cool to see these Legands perform all in the same show!! Besides some of them being waaay too old to have such disgusting mouths, It was a good show. I & so many others were clearly confused by Scarface's behavior. He performed well WHEN he was performing. The most IRRITATING thing about the whole night was that the other acts were so disrespectful about staying within their time frame that the Home City KINGS....8Ball & MJG had such little time. They only performed like 5 songs (abbreviated) total. I was waiting on some heavy hitting joints! Like 9 Millimeter Boys...etc. To their defense, they did say time was an issue which meant while some less popular dudes couldve been Unplugged to reserve time. Otherwise I was screaming along the whole show!!

About time to hang it up for Scarface. The show was awful. Pretty sure he forgot the words to his own songs. Or, he just lost his breath and couldn't hang. There were technical difficulties with teh turntable at least 10x. It's just a turn table! Not even live music. Time to see Scarface's show cry, when we see Scarface's show die.

All the artists on point from Shawna to Scarface. Real Rap Music not the rap garbage that is out today which has no point or meaning to it. I also got the chance to shake KRS ONE hand while he was performing. I wish that Roxanne Shante did more of her songs and DJ Quik would have did Dollars and Sense but besides that perfect. Twista brought out Chicago's own Do or Die and MC Lyte did her collection of hits. Shawna brought out Chicago's Crucial Conflict. All the artist sounded like their records. New artists need to study these artists and work on their live shows. Shawna set the night off sounding like a female Busta Rhymes. She had everyone on their feet setting the tone for the night. Chi town lit up the stage with all their classic hits. Crucial conflict, Nuisance, Do or Die, and Twista definitely set it off. Dj Quik, KRS, MC Lyte and of course Scarface with that distinct voice made us all remember why these artists are LEGENDS!

Only talking about Quick, Lyte, Face, and the Blastmaster Krs-one. This should have been the order of appearance! Quick was ok but should have ended with Born and raised in Compton . Lyte was a nice representation of female mcs but not enough energy out there! Scarface was ok but would have been great with his unit (the Ghetto Boys). Also by himself not enough energy and Lyrics to depressing to headline! The Blastmaster Krs-one should have headlined !!! Only had time to basically skim a few of his songs which he has the most of all the artists that were there. Always giving knowledge and always going freestyle know one does this better! Young mcs should pay attention to him . He doesn t dance on stage but has your attention with his voice and Lyrics!

Scarface turned up and 8Ball and MJG turned out also with a great concert at a very good time no fighting venue was great drinks were great had an excellent night even the local artist did a good job

Me & My gf loved the show, juvnile, mystical, trick daddy was the best in that order. We came late so we did not get to see pastor troy perform if he was even there. But loved the show.
