KDWB Jingle Ball

I liked the show but wish that Ariana grande would have performed problem with iggy! Also it felt rushed. A little bit more time for each artist would have been cool. Other then that it was a great show!

Had so much fun with my husband this year!! This isn't exactly his favorite type of music but the atmosphere, the lights, the energy, the beer, the ear to ear smile on my face gave him enough adrenaline that he was on his feet right next to me waving the light up boom wacker! Amazing event and I will be back.

Jingle ball has been the best concert yet that I have ever been to! It was so much fun partying on the floor! I payed about $175 for my ticket and it was totally worth my money. I will definitely be looking forward to next years Jingle 2015 !

I feel the music videos that were playing in between acts were inappropriate for the younger children in attendance. We had three 10 yr olds, five 12 year olds and three 14 year olds in our group. As a parent, it's one thing to process some of the lyrics they hear on the radio but it's a whole other issue to subject them to viewing some of the inappropriateness in music videos. I loved the music and the energy of the concert but really wish KDWB would have used better judgement about the videos that were played.

Was a great line up, sound was horrible, was not able to hear allot of the audio, was not very loud. KDWB host did a great job with the line up and with the "christmas story"

I enjoyed jingleball 2011 for many reasons. The line up was discouraging at first, but after listening to KDWB for the month before the show, I realized that these were the hot artists. Once I got off of my high horse, I got excited about seeing up and coming acts. During the show there were only problems during Big Time Rush and Kelly Clarkson in way of acoustics. Jason Derulo looked like he performed with a sound track, but his dance moves made up for the fact he may have been lip syncing. Big Time Rush kept the energy up even when their ear pieces didn't work, and aside from the fact the band wasn't happy about it, it was still an amazing performance. Overall it was a great concert.

Foster the people and Kelly Clarkson rocked it!! I really enjoyed all the other acts as well. It was so much fun and I will for sure go back next year!

For the Price it is great! My seats only cost $75 and im on lower lever row d?! and i get to see more then one performer sing! It is a great concert to go to !

It was a great show overall. JesseJ should have gotten more than 5 minutes. Arianna Grande was given 25 and she walked off stage 11 minutes early. Overall good. Well organized.

Never been to a concert where they literally sell tickets behind the stage... Usually if they do this the artists play a circle stage to everyone..

All of the acts were very well known and it was easy to sing along with all of their songs. Jingle Ball was so much fun I went with two of my best friends and they had a blast too.

Although the majority of the audience was under 16, the show was spectacular!

We loved the concert!!!! It was an awesome line up!!!! We plan on coming back next year!!!

This years jingle ball was amazing!! The artists that performed were absolutely perfect and had everyone on their feet!! One Republic, IGGY, and Ariana were one of our favorites!!! If any of them came back next year We would pay any price to see them all again!

All of the acts were fantastic! I was impressed at how many popular artists they had.

Lots of great acts! It was disappointing that Nick Jonas did not perform. Know if you are going to see the show for the guest host....you won't see him much.

Awesome - the lineup was awesome - very strong performers.

Every single act did an amazing job. It's extremely hard to choose which act I enjoyed the most. They all kept us thoroughly entertained and at the edge of our seats for whose was to perform next! I enjoyed the surprise of that. I came last year and enjoyed myself greatly and enough to come back but this years' blew my mind!! I will be coming back next year!!

Awesome line-up. Could have done without long delays inbetween sets. Disappointed in order of appearance vs. that shown in program. Also inconsistency in number of songs between artists. Great lights and sound. VERY loud - appreciated the free ear plugs VERY much as we had forgotten ours. Would LOVE if the concert could start earlier since it is a week night and many/most of the audience was kids. (Got very late. Many had long drives home.) Appreciated the glow sticks - created a very nice atmosphere. Overall very happy with concert!! :)

KDWB Jingle ball 2014 was one I will not forget! It had a wide variety of performers including Iggy Azalea, Demi Lovado, One Republic, and Ariana Grande as a few of the 12 that performed.The timing was smooth between each performer that you never felt as if you were waiting. So much fun! The two collaborations between Iggy and Rita for Black Widow and Ari and Jessie J for BANG BANG were amazing! I wish there could be more collaborations between the jingle ball artists.

First time to Jingleball - I picked a great year to go because the line-up was great. I purchased tickets early but the good, affordable seats all sell out quickly due to scalpers which is a bummer because there were some empty seats even though it was sold out.

My husband and I went to our 1st Jingleball and it was a blast! It was very kid-centric, which I didn't know going into it, but we had a blast anyway!

It was a great time. This is our 8th year and it is amazing who we have seen over the years. The time frame that it was all done in was perfect. Can't wait until next year!

The whole show was simply amazing! I thought Ariana grande could have sang a few more songs since I thought she was the bigger name there and I think there was sound difficulties during her performance. But either way, the whole show was awesome and we had a blast! Looking forward to going next year!

This was one of the top concerts I've been too. I love the artists that were there, I do wish their sets were a bit longer.

Good show, very entertaining. The KDWB crew was very energentic and really pumped up the crowd. I could have done without Shawn Mendez..although all the Tweeny Boppers LOVED him!!!

This was such an amazing event. I went with my 3 daughters (ages 10, 16, 19) and we all enjoyed it very much. The event was flawless with very little down time. We are going to make this an annual event.

This has to be the best line up of Jingle Ball in recent history! I was thoroughly engrossed from start to finish. Were there some blah performers? Yes. Did it make me lose the adrenaline rush I was on? No! Thanks KDWB for an amazing night!

As the title of this review says, this was my first Jingle Ball ever! That's because I'm not originally from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and I now go to school at the University of St. Thomas. I thought this whole concert was awesome! Our seats were not too bad either! Our seats were up by the lighthouse, and we could still see most of the stuff going on pretty well. As a lot of people have said, there is not one bad seat at the X. This was my second time here at the X, and it certainly won't be my last. This is such a great venue. All of the workers are very courteous, and the place is very easy to get around. The only thing that kinda put me off is the price of the t-shirts. I think it cost $25 or something, but I've definitely have paid more, especially when I came here for the first time ever when Coldplay came to St. Paul back in August. Now I just can't wait to come here for my first ever Wild game!

I was a little nervous going in because I didn't know a lot of the artist that were performing. I ended up having SO much fun and one of the bands, OneRepublic, that I kind of just shrugged off ended up being one of my favorite performances. I liked the breaks in between because it gave you time to go buy merch and get food if you wanted. They also played music videos so you were never just sitting there. Over all it was a great concert! Depending on the line up, I will most likely go again next year.

If you are looking for a concert to go to, to see many artists, this is the concert for you!!!!

Loved the artists. Great variety and love the fact that you get to sing along with each artists best hits. Highlight of the show- Surprise appearance by G-Eazy. Downside- Halsey had a video playing in the background of people popping pills. Totally inappropriate for the young audience in attendance.

Talk about getting the most \u2018bang for your buck . This was our first Jingle Ball, with the intention of seeing our guys from One Direction. However the other acts did not disappoint. Charlie Puth was amazing, Kesha was great, of course we loved Liam and Niall. Fall out Boy was a favorite too. We will definitely get tickets for next year.

I had an absolutely blast with my friends, we got to see our favorite bands perform right in front of us, and they were amazing and sound amazing!

I took my two boys, ages 13 and 15 to this show. They listen a lot to KDWB and really wanted to go. I don't listen much to KDWB and popular music stations so wasn't expecting to enjoy the show very much. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The show was really well run, the time spent waiting between acts was minimal. And the performances were all very entertaining. A lot of talent on display. I especially enjoyed Halsey and Kesha. I would recommend this concert to anyone asking and may go again next year.

This was a great event. Liked all acts that performed. Would of been nice to have all acts sign together at the end.

This was my first time attending a Jingleball concert. It was crazy fun to see so many great acts all on one stage, in one night! If you are looking for an amazing time with some of your favorite artists or songs, then Jingleball is a great offering for a concert. Also it's appropriate for all ages (a good and bad thing)!

I bought tickets to see Niall Horan and Liam Payne... and was very impressed with all the artists.

I really enjoyed this concert. The artists were amazing, the sound was unbelievable, and I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. I wish they would have been able to sing more than 3 or 4 songs each, but I understand why as there were so many performing and the concert would've ran too long. Maybe take one or two less people and more songs each. I felt the groups were maybe being rushed a little bit. Overall, amazing concert and would most definitely go again!

This is the best concert to attend with your older children! My daughter and I try to attend every year! All of the artists were amazing! It's so fun to see so many talented singers all in one night! We loved all of the acts... especially Kesha, Camila Cabello, Halsey, and Charlie Puth! My daughter was super excited to see Fall Out Boy! We are planning to come back next year!

Bought these tickets as my daughter's Xmas present. She loved the show, the line up this year was so worth every penny! My niece went with us and we all had so much fun. Charlie Puth, Kesha, Halsey, Liam Payne, Nial Horan, and Camilla Cabello were some of our favorites!

The show was so fun. The only bummer was the audio issues when Charlie Puth was on, and he was the one I was really looking forward to. They do a great job of minimal time between artists too. So much fun.

Great experience to have many bands; like a sampler.

Concert was amazing, they did a great job keeping the acts flowing on to the stage. I was not happy during Halseys set, the video behind her was pills and people popping them. I felt with an arena full of teenage girls that run into being offered pills by fellow teenagers this was not appropriate to play.

Overall it was a great concert. All the performances were amazing and the concert was well put together. Fifth Harmony ending the show made my night even better because I love them!!

It was a good concert, I was disappointed this year with the line up, last 2 yrs line up was awesome, I only went because of the backstreet boys. Need more big name performers for me to go back next year. This was my 3rd year in a row to attend. Dissatisfied this year

All of them are great. Fifth Harmony's first 3 songs were dumb and they cleared out several people.

This was my first Jingle Ball and I really enjoyed the way the event was set up. The show started promptly and moved quickly, there was just a brief "commercial break" between each artist. Great bang for your buck to see a lot of popular artists in one setting. It'll be impossible to listen to the radio on your way home from the concert and not hear multiple songs that were performed live that night.

Wonderful time, we brought our 10 year old daughters and it was their first concert. Great show, I was impressed with how quick the artist change was as well. Not happy with Tove Lo, I thought she was a little disgusting in her actions considering there were numerous "children" in the audience. She could have made it a little more tasteful, if it was her concert alone then by all means be who you want but with this kind of line up I thought it was not necessary. Definitely not someone I would want our girls looking up to. Other then that it was wonderful and some very inspirational artist with great stories to share. We will hopefully be back next year!!

If I'm being honest I found much of the show pretty boring :( The crowd & energy picked up big time when Backstreet Boys came on, followed by G-Easy, who had an abnormally short amount of time on stage, which was disappointing to a lot of people. After those 2 performances, the energy pretty much fizzled & people started leaving. I wish I would have recorded the crowd when Fifth Harmony came on because they were hyped up a lot throughout the show but when they performed, no one seemed all that into it. I spent a lot of money for a ticket to see Backstreet Boys & G-Easy for 30 minutes or less :(

For my first Jingle Ball experience, I have to say I was pleasantly suprised at the quality and number of performers! Song after song. Really high energy and fun crowd! My only complaints were, (1) after paying a very steep $45 excel energy arena fee, I was so dissappointed to be (2) bombarded with television commercials between acts. I'd rather have seen music videos or something fun. Ridiculous!

Jingle ball was an amazing event. It was my first time ever on attending and did. It disappoint. The ONLY disappointment I had was how G-Eazy only performed 2 songs!!! I love this guy and I think he deserves be on stage just as long as the other artist. So please try to even out all the performances.

The event was extremely well organized and our group had a great time. I was impressed that we received free glow sticks and earplugs.

The audience is mostly teenage girls and 4 of my daughters enjoyed it. As long as the artists realize that is is more of a family show and font use profanity ill keep sending them.

We went to the concert so my son could see owl city. Taking out the fact that I didn't like the music, but we weren't there for me, the concept of the concert was wonderful. Both of my children loved the music. The view was great as were the performances. I liked the idea that the kids were able to see so many of their favorite performers. I would do it again for the kids in a heartbeat. I would love to see a country version for me.

Veteran performers and showmen of Train put on an awesome show but were unable to drag a performance that was riddled with one-hit wonders out of the "meh" bin. They opened with one of my favorites off of their new album, "50 Ways to Say Good-Bye", which could not have been a better song to open with. They then proceeded to let a dozen or so girls ("Do we have any girls who want to be mermaids out there?") out of the audience come on stage, don special t-shirts, and dance during their performance of their latest single, "Mermaids". Singer Pat Monahan grabbed one girl's phone and used it to take a picture of himself and her while he was singing, nearly putting her in a state of shock. After they played their Grammy-winning singles "Drops of Jupiter" and "Soul Sister", they closed with their current radio loop fest "Drive By". One Republic gave a performance like they were in a whole other world, acting like they were the biggest stars in the world and they could rile up any crowd. I haven't seen that kind of energy in a pop concert. Ever. It was a good time, though. PSY was able to add a bit of levity at the end with his request to have the house lights on for his encore performance of "Gangam Style" just so he could see the audience, citing that he had not played for a crowd that large in America before. That was fairly memorable. Local stars Owl City performed their 2009 hit "Fireflies" to mixed reaction, but really rocked the house with their current hit "Good Time". Somewhere in the house, some tears may have been shed for Ed Sheeran's performance of "A Team", but it was his 10-minute long freestyle folk rap BOSS loop-powered manic trip that blew me away. I had no idea one person could create that kind of music on the fly. Ellie Goudling, one of my favorite acts to come out the UK in a long time, was struck short by hoarseness or whatnot, forced to perform "Lights" a cappella but not after delivering a stellar performance of "Anything Could Happen". Cher Loyd was there with her brand of cheeky whateveryoucallthat music, but I still don't care for her bubbliness, on the radio or in person. And don't get me started on the Justin Timberlake wannabe Connor Maynard. Just don't. Sadly, it still felt like a string of B-list musicians and one-hit wonders in what could have been, should have been something much larger. Jingle Balls in the past and, hopefully, Jingle Balls in the future have given us much more in the way of big acts.

The concert was pretty good....much better last year. We like the one hit wonder bands with the kids, but this was a more somber group of bands this year. Also, Santa Fun Facts sucked and the KDWB group did not seem to have their act together. Very random and unplanned stage outings for the groups. You are better than this!

I was a little frustrated with the lights crew when it took them so long to respond to Psy's request. That's the only reason the event gets 4 stars instead of 5.

I loved the whole show. Cher Lloyd was amazing. Ed Sheeran only played 3 songs but it was still freakin' awesome! I loved every act there.

I was not to excited about the line up this year, but they all were actually really good. My seats were terrible. Love the Xcel.

This was my 11 year old sons first concert and we had a blast very age appropriate and the band line up was great for him!

Everyone was really good. HOWEVER, I bought the ticket mainly for Psy. I listen to Korean music and was excited to see he was going to be there. I thought it was great because it could be a chance for him to show his other GREAT songs besides Gangnam Style. However, he was only giving a 10 minute slot at the end, where Psy did the dance twice. I feel bad for him because that is all he is known for, and if I was him I would be sick of doing the dance. I am happy I got to see him live, but I wish he could have shown his potential.

Jingle Ball was one of the most fun concert events I have ever been to. I was worried about how my daughter and I would spend the down time between acts but the interviews and videos KDWB put on the big screens kept our attention while we were waiting for the next act.

Everything was great EXCEPT for the technical difficulties with Ellie goulding(who was amazing anyways) and owl city. Things like that shouldnt have happened. Best act was one republic who should have been last. Psy is popular but one republic has far more talent!

I enjoyed Jingleball. I thought the time in between acts was too long. It seemed that the set up was done in about 15 minutes and we still waited. Too long for a Tuesday night especially when a lot of teenagers go to it.

There was just too much downtime between acts. When one considers how much it costs to buy a ticket, I find that unacceptable.

I had an awesome time! Only downfall was the squealing teenage girls sitting behind us, but I enjoyed every artist that hit the stage. My ticket was well worth it!

Jingle Ball 2012 was unforgettable! One Republic was AMAZING!!! I am I live with them, they did an amazing job and are so talented! Please bring them back for a concert!!!! Everyone else did an awesome job as well. Psy was so nice and got the whole crowd going! I'll never forget it!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter and a friend went to the show and they thought it was great. They would definitely want to go again. The one thing I didn't like was the paperless ticket. I wasn't given any other option when purchasing the tickets. It forced me to have to wait in line to have my credit card swiped to get the tickets upon entrance. There should be a separate line by will call or a way to transfer.

I was one of the oldest people at the venue, 62, but I really did enjoy myself. The acts were fantastic.

My sister and I took my son to this show it was wonderful, I will take him again next year! I can't remember the last time I went to a concert and everyone was standing the entire time! Performers were great! Nicely done!

The Jingle Ball was a lot of fun. I took my 15 year old daughter and I ended up having even more fun than I thought I would. I enjoyed watching Owl City the most which surprised me but they had the most fun songs to hear in concert. It was great to see so many bands in one night playing their most popular songs.

My daughter and I both thought that Jingle Ball was definitely worth the money...and then some! I think it 's awesome being able to see so many different artists at one venue. You get to hear their best. My only complaint would be the sound quality. Though I know with so many different changes happening it's difficult to get the best sound. But overall...Jingle Ball was wonderful....already looking forward to next year!!!

Minnesotas finest??? Really? I hate to see our worst. That was horrible. Laughable. Connor Manard can we say lip syncing? Half the time he didnt have the mic close to his mouth and the sound was the same. He is a Justin Bieber want to be that will never be. And Psy really we left after the first go roung of Gangham Style, it was enough. The rest of the acts were great. I thought the intermissions in between were really long. for the price we paid ($100) for the tickets I thought the performers should have been given more time. and we shouldnt have been left sitting for so long. the wait time seemed ecessive

At 28 years old, I think I'm too old for this concert. I was surrounded by kids in HS or younger. I enjoyed a few acts (Cher Lloyd & One Republic), but generally thought the show was entirely a low budget production. And Minnesota's Finest? Honestly, no one knew who they were & it sounded like really terrible karaoke with wannabe dancers. What a joke. I love the Dave Ryan in the Morning Show & KDWB, but I will never go to their Jingleball event again.
