CAIFANES IN CONCERT:Mexican rock legends Caifanes have been shredding out hits since they first made their mark on the Latin music scene in 1987. Whether they're playing their Spanish-language classics like "Matenme Porque Me Muero" or taking time to interact with the crowd, Caifanes have an infectious energy that radiates into the audience. Back on the road, the band will share their collection of Latin rock jams with new and longtime fans on a string of highly anticipated tour dates. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:Originally performing under the name Las Insolitas Imagenes de Aurora, Caifanes truly took shape when Insolitas disbanded in 1986.

Last time I saw Caifanes, they were just a 3 man band(original line up) And what I witnesed 16 years ago(5 original members)was a personal dream come true. I remember the first time I heard Saul and company, it was the day that for the first time in my life to truly experience the power of music. That, my friends; is what I felt on Oct 12th 2011. The power of music to a youth still searching and wondering to find themselves. It was awesome to see the band happy, smiling and back together. Of course Saul's voice is not what it used to be but the emotions he infused in the performance were more than I had previously seen and heard with Jaguares. The setlist was very good and covered every album recorded together, it was a great concert. For anyone who enjoys "Rock en Espanol" or anyone who enjoys good music, be sure to experience this exceptional band while they are still together/touring! My dream came true!!!!

One of the best performances I've ever witnessed. There's nothing like a live performance. Caifanes really energize every song, whether it's a slow or a fast tempo song. Every song was a thrill ride i didn't want to end.

Even though the line to get in was enormous and the show didn't start until almost 10:30pm the band was unforgettable. They sounded amazing and delighted us with their biggest hits. The sound was good and there were no complaints from where I was standing. Really pleased with this show.

Section 120 is a cheap good view!! Bring Caifanes back!! Only complain is that beer guys don't go up in the stands, you'd have to get down and go to the concessions mid show!

I can't believe I waited so long to go to House of Blues in Dallas. Great venue, location is withing walking distance to trains, AA, bars and restaurants. Definitely going back. Great to see Caifanes for the second time this year. Great set!

the only problem i saw was that doors opened late and when i went in caifanes were already singing got there at 8:15 took me 30 minutes to go in so i misss the entrance which is one of my favorites parts on every concert

The concert was amazing... They play as never before the sound was great. I love the fact that at the entrance of the concert they gave us like a flyer with information regarding the band, I thought that was amazing. The only thing i didn't like is that the view is not as good since is all flat your can't really see that well cause the stage is not as high.

Caifanes are back and glad to say they put on a fantastic show. The original 4 rocked out and you could tell they were all happy to be there, together. Acoustics at the Rosemont Theatre aren't the very best, but stage presence and visuals were nice.

This was the first time I go to a Caidanes concert and it won't be the last. I had people telling me in the past that their concerts weren't that good, but after experiencing this I can safely say that they were wrong. This was one of the most concerts I've been to and the hits they were playing kept it in high octane the whole time.

I went to both shows as I grew up listening to this band and many others during the golden era of Spanish Rock in the 90s. The guitarist Marcovish is simply amazing giving Caifanes its great sound that was missing when you would hear Caifanes songs played by the lead singer Saul's later/current band Jaguares. Hearing the response from the crowd to this legendary Mexican band only makes you think where this band could have been if only they had never split up. I really hope that this was not just a reunion tour and they stay together to creat new music and make up for a nightmare named Jaguares. Simply an amazing experience in latin rock history.

After seeing Jaguares, Mana, after the separation of Caifanes,,, Spanish Rock was clearly missing something.. The only thing keeping it going was the hope that they and Soda would reunite, as well as Heroes,, Which eventually they did.. The concert was an Euphoria of music, Butterflies in your stomach if you will, I was around 14-15 the last time I saw them at the Greek theatre,, I honestly felt as if I was there again, rejuvenated, ,, , anxious, mixed emotions can be felt by everyone,,, most of all the band members looked like they were having a blast, I'm sure they were remembering their reason for playing and enjoying their music, and fans.. Thank you Caifanes, you made this world and it's problems disappear , if only for two and a half hours,, GRacias..!!!

Caifanes is a band I've been wanting to see for many years. I listened to their music as a teenager growing up in Mexico and they separated around 1995 ... I didn't think they would ever get back together but earlier this year I found out they had reunited. The atmosphere was great. The fans came from various states -some as far as Maryland- to see this band play. I've been to countless concerts and this was by far the best.
