The ladies played the parts in the most explicit way. Each character was represented in away that really displayed how we as women are exposed to real life situations. I was exceptional thrilled with the drama that was portrayed by each of the females in the play. Each character was well playes.

We paid too much to see this play. I love the characters in the play, but the play itself was not good. The tickets should have costed maybe $30 max, then it would have been worth going to see. And I don't mind paying top dollar for quality things, this just wasn't worth it. Really wanted to like the play...did love Cobb Energy Center, will definitely go back.

I loved the play! I think all the ladies did a great job at recreating these characters. I was curious to see how the play would accommodate for the bank scenes, since the characters in the movie were on the run, in the getaway car a lot of the time. The play was very well put together. I would have seen it a second time.

I absolutely loved and enjoyed the entire play. When I heard that they were turning one of my all-time favorite movies into a stage play, I was a bit surprised and curious to see how it was going to happen. Man, all I can say after watching it is that the director, Jecaryous Johnson, did an amazing job. I enjoyed the entire cast, especially the 4 LEADING LADIES. Da Brat, Letoya Luckett, Kyla Pratt, and Demetria McKinney did an AWESOME job portraying their characters. I am sooo glad that I did NOT miss out on this experience. If I ever got the opportunity to see it again, I would most definitely go support it!

We drove from Columbus Ohio to see this. We got the on time only to wait in a line wrapped around the building. Once we got in the play already started. Expected more. But was a decent experience. Wouldn't see again

Due to my disappointment with Love Jones I hesitated to purchase tickets for Set it Off but did it anyway since it was a just girls outing. I set the bar low but was pleased overall with the experience. The live show followed the movie closely with an updated message on police violence. I wouldn t have minded a little more singing but was pleased with the rapping by Da Brat as well as her overall performance with acting. Kayla Pratt s experienced acting skills were apparent. The show started on time to the surprise of many attendees who were either just getting inside of the theater due to the line that was still wrapped around the side of the building to enter or because there was no announcement/chime to indicate for those roaming around inside to take their seats.

The stage play was"Awesome Sauce " I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm a fan of all the beautiful talented women. The ladies really brought the play to life. I knew I was seeing a play, however in certain scenes the ladies mad me feel as if I were watching the movie. Cuddles to the Brat, Latoya, Kyla, and Demetria you ladies did your thing. Awesome job of giving us classic moments from the movie and also incorporating some new moments. He didn't change too much and what he did change, it was not too far fetched. I enjoyed Je'Caryous Johnson Presents"Set It Off." Parts of the play were adapted to fit a stage-play setting and add comedic value. Although it was not a musical, I expected more singing/rapping. Demetria McKinney was the strongest actress, despite playing the weakest character - T.T.; and, her brief singing brought pleasure to the ears. The ending was unexpected, yet satisfying. I would recommend this play.

I had doubts this play could grab the same emotional impact as the movie and I was absolutely proven wrong. The cast was beyond amazing and did an outstanding job!!! Da Brat gave me life with her dancing and facial expressions. The audience was so involved they were saying the lines with the actresses, clapping and even standing up to show just how much the actresses had us enjoying the show. I can't give the exciting parts away but trust me, if you see it you will understand. I have told everyone I know that they have to go experience this play. This play was hands down the best play I have ever seen. Great job Je'Caryous Johnson and all of the cast!!!

The play definitely exceeded my expectations. Set It Off is one of my favorite movies of all time, literally. So to see Mr. Johnson and cast reenact this play was phenomenal. I have to be honest and say that I was very skeptical about the play, but they overly exceeded my expectations. Not that Mr. Johnson didn t already have my business and support from his Things your Man won t do 1 & 2 but he s most definitely earned it. Keep blessing the world.

After seeing the movie quite a few times I really didn't know what to expect of the play but it was AWESOME! Je'Caryous really stuck to the plot...it was hilarious it was sad it was REAL n all of the cast did a BEAUTIFUL JOB. Although it was so many great moments in the play the ending was EPIC. A MUST SEE!

Athens show was awesome and it is one of my favorite movies, I feel that justice was done, lol, the play was up to my expectations and more . i was wondering how it would be pulled off S a play and it was done . The 4 ladies did superb I knew da brat would do awesome as Cleo. but the other ladies were the best and played their roles to a tee and the some . My 19 year old daughter loved the play as well , she is s college student and i knew it would be hard to please her, and this was her first play , but she was absolutely amazed and impressed

It was an excellent show. Alot of my friends didn't know that their was a show. I referred my friend Brenda to the next show in Wantagh ny. My daughter is 15 and I am registering her with the performing arts and she would love to be on stage. The best part was Dabrat and the girl from fat Albert that played jada pinketts part. I just wish that she put the hat on that jada Pickett put on when she got on the bus in the movie. Dabrat acting skills for queen latifah was excellent but overall everyone did an excellent job and I am very thankful that I got a chance to see this play.

If you love the movie and music, you will love this play. Da Brat did a special Ladies Night rap before intermission. It seemed like all of the actors were having fun on stage. The only two bad things was the stage changes (you can see them changing clothes on stage and people putting away stage props) and you can see that the car at the end was a half car. Besides those two things, everything was perfect. Even the 90s music selection.

I usually love the plays at the Warner. This one was entertaining, however, it turned me off somewhat. There was so much profanity used by the cast. Lots of it. You can express yourself strongly without the use of all the foul language. Folks use that when they lack the English language. I wish I had known this before I purchased my tickets. I won't be going to another one produced by this company.

Everything about this production was on point. The acting and chemistry of the cast was amazing; not a weak link in the anywhere. In addition, the overall production values was equivalent to Broadway and Vegas. And finally, the surprise twist at the end was spellbinding!!

So good! Da Brat stole the show as Chloe. She had a standing ovation and she had her role down to the T! The other girls did not disappoint either and the set switches and costume changes were super fast. I loved every moment of it. The end scene was just as emotional as the movie. I hope they continue to do this play because I would easily pay for it again.
