Elton John

Elton John Concert Schedule Sir Elton Hercules John, English singer, songwriter and pianist, has been a fixture of the soft rock and pop music scene since the early 1960s and toured the globe extensively in his decades-long career. John's 2016-2018 Wonderful Crazy Night Tour has taken him throughout North America, the Middle East and Europe, as did his 2012-2013 Rocket Man 40th Anniversary Tour and 2011-2012 Greatest Hits Tour. John's musical style is marked by his flashy piano work and distinctive lead vocals. He is best known for his easy-listening rock and pop tunes, though, he is equally accomplished at creating works for films and the stage.

I ve been wanting to see Elton live for many years and it never fit into my schedule...finally everything fell into place... I have many things on a bucket list to do before I turn 50 in Dec 2017... and he was one... I wish I could find the words to describe my feelings... it was a dream come true!! I had floor seats and was Center however his piano was to the left and people were standing but I swear like Moses when he parted the Red Sea there were moments when people standing or sitting I had a direct view of him... He is amazing... unforgettable...best day of my life... weeks later I still can hear his voice and when I hear a song on the radio I cry and thank the stars above for letting me be there with him!!! Ps he kept saying how him and Bernie his songwriter and some of his band have been together for 50 yrs and I felt like he was wishing me a happy 50th...wink wink

This concert made history for me. It will never be exceeded by anyone, anywhere. I kept pinching myself in disbelief that these two legends were on stage, together, and I was in the same venue with them. They sound better than ever, and their bands----what can I say! The musicianship was amazing; entertaining does not begin to describe the experience. I would go again in a heartbeat!

It was a good concert. I am a huge Elton Fan and was a little disappointed with his performance in Nashville. The last time I saw them here, Elton stole the show. This time it seemed as though he was just going through the motions. Billy Joel delivered a good performance. Perhaps Elton was just a little tired,we all have our bad days. I will definitely see them again if they come back Nashville in the future.

At their age, I assumed they would play for an hour take a break maybe play for another hour and that would be it. But they played for almost 3.5 hours straight! Great concert!

This was the best concert I have ever attended. Even though the tickets were pricey, I felt that I more than got my moneys worth. From start to finish it was an outstanding event. Both performers did a fabulous job of keeping everything moving and the interest level was very high. If they ever come again I will be one of the first to buy tickets.

I was halfway expecting the usual warm-up act, but I didn't see how BJ & EJ could cover very many of their hit songs in only the usual 1.5 or 2 hours. The show started at 7:35 PM with both superstars playing their hits, one after another, and it didn't end until 11:15, three hours and ten minutes later. This was the longest show I have ever seen without an intermission, and it was WAY too short. Each of these two megastars has written at least 100 hit songs that they could have played. Both played together for 30 minutes, then BJ left the stage, EJ did more of his works for one hour, BJ came back and EJ left, BJ did more of his hits for one hour, EJ came back, and the two together did more of their hits for another 40 minutes. They are both master songwriters, master piano players, and enormous talents.

A fan of these two icons might have briefly wondered what these two legends could offer that would eclipse their previous joint ventures. That was clearly answered when the two brilliant musicians took the stage that night in Nashville. The energy, song selection, amazing skill and apparent zest for their trade blew me away. I hope that Elton and Billy continue to enlighten us with their abundant talent for years to come!

The music was wonderful but I was unhappy with my seat. I paid a lot of money for my ticket but had to stand up all the time so I could see. I left before the show was half over. And there was a screaming drunk woman behind me who kept yelling in my ear. Not any fun at all. Next time I will buy the CD and sit at home and listen on my Bose.

The concert started with an instrumental that then went straight into Bennie and the Jets. The band never stopped, no intermission, almost 3 hours nonstop of Elton and the band. It looked like he and the band were really enjoying themselves, which made the concert even better. A local reporter stated afterwards that he saw Elton mouth to himself, "O Yea, Its gonna be a good night" Elton enteracted with us a lot. He mixed in classics with some of the new songs giving a great mix for us. Overall a fantastic concert, Elton John proved he is one of the all time greats, and that unlike some other performers, he doesn't need gimmicks to purton a great show.

Lived up to all my expectations and more. He and his band sounded great. Elton was very involved with the audience getting up from the piano bench after nearly every song to address a few sections with a bow. He played for 2 1/2 hours non stop all the hits you remember and four from the new record. Encored with Crocodile Rock. Highly recommended.

Elton John is a phenomenal pianist. The two and a half hour concert was amazing and included memorable songs from his 47 year career; however, there should have been large projection screens placed throughout the arena for better visibility (as was done the last time he performed in Boise). Elton John is a phenomenal pianist.

I have been a fan of Sir Elton John since I first heard "Take Me to the Pilot" back in the seventies. I was living in New York, and went to his concerts whenever he came to NYC. He has certainly been through a lot through the decades, but his performance (and his mastery on the piano) proves he's still standing! This current tour is referred to as his "Farewell to the Yellow Brick Road", and I was thrilled he chose to come to Omaha, my new home. Elton performed for close to 3 hours, and he sounded better than ever! Each song was excellent. The music was solid and the entire show was full of some of his biggest hits. Elton thanked everyone for sticking with him through his career and this show was the best gift he could leave for his fans. He plans to cut down on touring to spend more time with his family, so this very well be his final trip. This was the best concert I have been to in years. If Elton comes by your city, please don't miss him.

I met my siblings and niece to see Elton John on Saturday, October 3. I have seen him twice and he is very good but I thought, been there done that. He started playing shortly after 8 and play until 10:30 or so with no breaks. The stage was amazing with changing lights and colors and very fun to watch. His band was great and Elton John is still one of the best entertainers around. Think of a song -- he probably played it. What a great night. The seats were not cheap but t would go again tomorrow. Great job and thank you Elton and your band for coming to Omaha.

One of the best shows ever, Elton didn't disappoint. Played for a solid 2 hr set, that included most of his huge hits such as Bennie & the Jets, Rocket Man, Daniel & Your Song. He is pure genius on the piano! It was a trip down memory lane and gave me goosebumps at times. Even though he's getting older, he's still a showman & got up from the piano frequently to interact either fans. It was great hearing the whole crowd sing along to some of the best songs ever written.

Elton John puts on a fantastic live show. He is a first class entertainer and so gracious to his fans. Never stops for a break during the full 2 1/2 hour show. He played hit after hit and kept everyone on their feet singing along and dancing. If you get the chance to see him live, don't pass it up! As a side note, I've seen his show in Vegas and, while it is very good, it is nothing like seeing him in a regular concert venue. I've seen him in regular concerts twice and in Vegas once. If you want to hear just the hits, I highly recommend the regular concert venue.

Saw Elton 3 years ago at the Amway in Orlando, and this concert was even better! Elton performed continuously for nearly 3 hours, stopping only for an occasional sip of water. Actually, with all his material, he could've performed for 7 or 8 hours, and the audience would've stayed right there with him!! This was my 4th concert seeing Elton John, 3rd with his band, once just Elton and his piano. Sir Elton rocked for almost 3 hours, played his greatest hits from the past and some more current hits. He can't hit those high notes as in the past, however, his band and the audience made up for it! He would get up from his piano after each song and wave to thank the crowd! awesome! he loves playing and entertaining his fans. His stage was really set up pretty cool, beautiful effects. For an old geezer, he still wows the crowd!! Not as flambouyant as yesteryear but the quality of his hits and his attention to the audience gave a warm and stellar performance! Great stage, colorful...the venue being small made it intimate and special to see him up close. Only drawback is getting to the arena! the traffic was a nightmare! This show was so much more than I expected - it was 2 1/2, almost 3 hours of non-stop hit after hit. The energy level was so high, don't know how he does it at age 69! With his long career, he could have played all night since there have been so many albums over the years. It was a great combo of the old hits, some songs from his latest album and songs I hadn't heard in years from the earlier albums. Although we were close to the stage, unfortunately the angle of the piano had us looking at the back of his head. He was very conscious of those of us who didn't have a great view and after every two songs he would stand up and walk over towards our side of the arena. The wide screens also helped to see him. Highly recommend seeing Elton John if he comes to your area.

Elton John was the best performer I've ever seen. A highlight of my life! He was gracious to his fans, turning on the house lights to bow his thanks after each song. He began promptly and played non-stop for nearly 3 hours. He sang all the songs his fans love and threw in some less known new and older songs. It was obvious he still enjoys performing and appreciates his fans. Still has a great voice and ability to play the keys. Loved it!

WOW!!! Growing up, I've always wondered what it would be like to see Elton John in concert but never imagined it would happen....almost like thinking I will ever see Barbra Streisand! Tickets cost too much, very limited concert venues, etc.....so it was an awesome surprise when I saw he was going to be in Toledo, OH....my neighbor!! I'm from Michigan and that is a very short drive to make to see somebody I've only imagined seeing!!! Long story short....I scored tickets, even after they said they were sold out, just by pure determination!!! The seats were amazing!!!! Sir Elton John sang hit after hit......all the songs I remember growing up!!! Who knew the man would still be singing so awesome at 69 years of age?!??? He was amazing!! May not be able to hit all the high notes of yesteryear.....but he still sang his heart out and never stopped!!! Great night and one I will never forget!!! Thank you!

I love Elton John music but wasn't expecting so much energy. The band sounded great, the drummer and tambourine players were high energy making it fun to watch. Elton can still rock the piano and he played all the fan favorites. Elton was playful jumping up on the piano a few times, and so generous taking time to walk the entire front row to sign something for each of them. The tvs showed views of all band members and they even had a camera showing Elton playing the keys on the piano, that was cool. I would recommend this concert experience to all fans of Sir Elton John!

Elton John's performance was electrifying. No opening act, no breaks, he played for two hours and forty-five minutes and looked like he was having a great time. I am sure he was fueled by the audience which was full of excitement. People were dancing and he motioned them to come closer to the stage. He took some time to autograph items for people in front of the stage. Took our 14 year old daughter, and she loved it. So happy we got to see him perform. If you have the chance to see him, definitely go!

Elton John was excellent! He started his show at 8 pm (on-time) and played until 10:30. He never left the stage!!! I am so glad he came to Hershey. I think Elton John got better with age. Job well done, one of my top 10 concerts I have ever seen!

I will start by admitting that I have never been too much of a fan of Elton John. With that said I want to say that the concert was an amazing experience. What a musician! Great pianist who's voice has stood the test of time. I am so glad that I took the opportunity to see a true musical icon who, in his own words, will be calling it quits very soon. Memories made!

The concert was awesome. Lasted almost 3 hours. Nonstop music. He played what I would call everyone's favorites. The stage lighting was a thing of beauty. His piano playing just blew me away. I've seen him in concert before and he's never a disappointment. The band was fantastic too. They rocked it. I had a fun evening.

If you've never seen Elton John, you may be nearing your last chance. Elton is not getting any younger and as his slightly younger fans get older, so does he and his voice. I've been fortunate to see Elton several times throughout his career and lately I've noticed his voice getting a little less like the Elton we remember on record. The Show opened as it has for many of his tours, with "Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding", but this is the first time I've ever known the band to actually play "Funeral" live; (it's usually a recording from the album.) He continued with three other songs from the "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" album which turned 40 years old in 2014. The band was solid, but the sound was less than perfect. The acoustics in the Crown have never been the best, so there is a noticeable reverb/echo in that building. Enough of my complaints. You don't get to see a legend everyday, so if you get a chance to see this tour, take it. The set-list was good with lots of variety and he covered most of the albums. Elton thanked the audience for buying a ticket and America for being so kind to him for many years. Elton also thanked Bernie Taupin, the man that wrote the lyrics to ALL of those wonderful songs. The Rocket Man is still flying high, so buy a ticket and take a ride.

I could not afford the best seats in the house. But you could enjoy his music every where. He is an outstanding musician , song write and singer. Would see him again ? Definitely. I really appreciated that after every song he got up and turn to the sections of people behind him so we could see his face and let me him through our applauses that we appreciated all the years he has given us. The Crown Complex employees were very helpful and the ladies restroom was well kept up inspite of the busy traffic. THANK YOU CROWN for ALL you DO to make these events happen and run smooth.

He is still AMAZING!!!! My one and only dissapointment was that "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" was skipped over...one of my favorites. But that is just a personal technicality because he performed for 2 1/2 hours straight, standing and thanking the crowd after almost every song. Sir Elton John is a treasure!

I have been to a couple of his concerts over his career and he and his band did not let me down this time; they all are as good or better as ever. I am glad I went to this one since he announced that he was going to slow down some after this tour which to me, means I will never get to attend another of his concerts. It was great from start to finish!

Elton John is such a classy classic! His voice is still remarkable, and his stage presence unforgettable. Most impressively, his ability to be able to play the piano with such ease without missing a note.

We were absolutely blown away by this concert. I had seen Elton in 1980 and my husband had never had the pleasure. We expected a rather subdued performance of ballads and love songs but...NOPE!! From start to finish (some 2 and 3/4 hours later - NO INTERMISSION) this concert was truly a breathtaking event. About 2 minutes into the opening number, which was EXACTLY how I would have chosen for the performance to begin, I actually began to cry. It was a very moving, strong, well-though out, emotion-filled evening with one of the greatest entertainers to ever walk onto a stage. Thank you VBC for booking Sir Elton John. It was a completely awe-inspiring EXPERIENCE in every sense of the word.
