Until this year, I didn't follow soccer at all, but then I got a Spanish exchange student who lives and breathes soccer, especially when it involves Barcelona FC. Before he had to head home, I wanted him to see a professional game here, so I brought him and another exchange student to see the Sounders play Real Salt Lake. The weather was perfect, the pre-game appreciation ceremony for the military was a nice extra, and the game itself was great. The fact that the opponent's name began with "Real" made the victory doubly sweet.

Decent game\u2026we had control of the ball most of the time just couldn t get it done. We desperately need Ljungberg. He is not only gorgeous but a truly amazing footballer who gets it done unlike Montero the cheery picker who needs to get on it more. We sat in Section 147. The seats are decent. You may have to stand through most of the match, but the views are superb and right behind the goal post and the 'sound wave' band. Spectators engage in singing and chanting and booing, so the experience is much 'fuller' than some of the other stands. The website also made it easy for me to choose my seats and the process was fast and not at all complicated.

We sat in section 326, row G had all 6 seats to my family. The railing was a bit annoying and i am 6'4 but could still see the game well!. It was my first time and family's first time my mom, brother in law, sister, niece, nephew. The stadium was fantastic and awesome!, the kids really enjoyed it and had a great time!. Now the only annoying negative> second half begins and 5-6 guys below us stand up for the whole second half drinking beer screaming at the players it was my nephews b-day present to go and watch the game and we cant see corners or anything down below us because they are blocking the field. Typical people that do not care!, the lady enforcing the seating dissapeared all second half? and said they were warned but did nothing?.

When Montero scored the first goal the crowd went crazy! The fans were in this game from the 1st minute to the last. Every Sounders game is a great event, this one was a can't miss.

An amazing, in-your-face "smashmouth" soccer match between two very skilled teams. The Sounders were going for an unprecedented three in a row Cup Championship. From the pre-game March to the Match with marchers carrying lit red road flares with green smoke bombs along the parade route to the US Military carrying in the giant national flag, the game was a physical test of wills. The crowd was in it for all 90 plus an exciting stoppage time goal by Alonso provided the insurance goal.

Goals galore! ManU showed why they're one of the best clubs in the world by netting seven goals against my beloved Sounders. You hate to see the home team get trounced but in a friendly with top-notch talent you just want to see goals! It was exhilerating to watch and made it a great atmosphere!

Watching Open Cup matches at Starfire is probably the best bang for your buck this side of the bleacher seats at Safeco Field. You could never get this close to Sounders FC action for $15. For a mear $12 i was sitting 10 feet from the goal all night. This is exciting Soccer in a very intimate setting... If you want autographs and pics with your favorite players. Starfire Sports Complex and the Seattle sounders deliver. They walk through the crowds who are lined up to tell Fredy they love him, or as last Wednesday night, get a game jersey right of the back of thier hero. I would suggest getting your tickets early as there are only a little over 4000 seats and parking is a bugger so buy that pass, come early and be patient when you leave.

Our families first Sounders game was an experience. We loved the passion the fans displayed before and during the game. Halfway through the game we were chanting along with everyone. Qwest Field is also a beautiful, sharp stadium.

Had a great time at the Sounders game. They controlled most of the game, but unfortunately tied when they could have won by a few goals. Still had an awesome time. The crowd is always amazing. Nice view of the whole pitch. Sec 340 Row D is also the last row so you don't have people behind you. Got there early to take advantage of the all-you-can eat that goes along with the seats.

The opening games are always so much fun, the atmosphere of the fans getting excited that the season is finally here is amazing. We got to see my friend in the armed forces holding the American Flag during the opening. Also, so happy to see Roger Levesque out on the pitch!

Every soccer supporter in the US should get to Seattle and be part of the atmosphere Seattle Sounders fans have created at Qwest Field. Everyone with tickets to a 100 section seat, stood for the 90 minutes - that in itself was awesome to see. Supporters are extremely nice and enjoy talking about their club. It was a welcoming environment to be in for not being from Seattle and visiting from out of town.

Great game, the Sounders controlled the game. Dempsey was awesome scoring two goals, they should have won the game but a 2-2 result wasn't bad. Great atmosphere, the stadium was completely packed, the fans produced great energy. Seattle is the place to be in the United States when it comes to professional soccer.

Took my wife and kids to this game. The seats were good and we got hard tickets in the mail. Sounders won 3-0. I liked Ticketmaster's share feature that I used to tell all my friends I was going to the game via Facebook. Price was not bad. Availability not bad either. Thanks!!!

With Martins still recovering from injury, and Evans and Dempsey still away fighting for the CONCACAF Gold Cup for the U.S. men's team, the Sounders haven't had the best of luck on the pitch over the past month. The match with the Colorado Rapids was no exception, with numerous chances to score well-defended against by Rapids keeper Clint Irwin, save for one offside goal. On the other hand, Rapids forward Kevin Doyle broke through the Sounders' defense in the 84th minute to score the only legitimate goal in the entire match, helping to chalk up another painful loss for the Rave Green once the double-whistle blew after 90'+ of play. May August be a better month for us all.

You guys are incredible! - you arranged for wonderful accessible seating for me (my hip replacement and bad knees) and my daughter - and you introduced us to "All-Inclusive" seating which provided us with an "all-you-can-eat/drink" buffet before the game - we had no idea we could get these kinds of tickets! Ticketmaster, you guys are amazing, and we want you to know that you provided my daughter and I with one of the most memorable nights of our llives!! And...the Sounders won big time!...not a full redemption for our Hawk's SuperBowl loss to the NE Patriots, but beating the New England Revolution 3-0 was definitely satisfying !! =) Thank you sooooo very much!!!

When purchasing the tickets we didn't realize we would be so high up, about 10-12 rows from the very top of the stadium, but not many tickets were available and my kids real wanted to go to the game. Seattlites are awesome supporters of their sporting teams and it was fun to be among so many cheering fans.

Full view if the entire field was fantastic. Didn't have to deal with people standing in our way the entire match either. Couldn't really hear the supporter section and the other folks in our section weren't really interested in crowd participation. Overall, they were still great seats and I'm sure when the Sounders are playing a better team the crowds are probably a bit more involved.

Excellent experience. I just moved to Seattle from DC and I think I am going to retire my United jersey and become a Sounders fan. This is a Soccer City! Century Link is in an awesome location and the environment is fantastic. The quality of football was okay on Saturday, but there is a lot of talent on the team so I have high hopes for the future.

Sure, you've probably seen the Sounders play LA Galaxy, Portland, or Vancouver. But one of the best ways to take in the unique depth of the whole team and catch the spirit of how much this group cares about playing here, especially Sigi, is to come see a Champions League match. Marcus Hahnemann last played for Seattle Sounders over a decade ago. His first appearance in a Sounders kit after coming home from the English Premier League was during last seasons Champions League matches. The competition allows Sigi the flexibility to use his players in roles that you would ordinarily not see during regular season matches. This will show you our unique depth, and talented youth. It will give you a hands on sense of why this team is not fading to the bottom of the table status any time soon.

I know about the new clear bags, but I didn't know that you can no longer bring in sun screen in metal spray bottles. Instead of making me throw away my sunscreen and left without it, why can't the staff just hand out free 2 oz plastic bottles to fans? I had to go to guest services and borrow some sun screen which was nice of them, but really they should just hand out free sun screen to fans that accidentally bring metal spray bottles.

We were is section 100- no alcohol / family section. It was pleasant to be around other families. However this was a very sunny spot- we bought sun block at the fan shop.

Great day, usually catch the train from Lakewood, we got in to Kings Street 1030am. Stop by a pub and have a couple of beers and a burger. Move to the stadium 30 minutes prior to kick off. Plenty of time to get into the stadium get a beer and find my seat. Go in the pub first because the price of beer and food in the stadium is so high. Great seat, Sounders lost, ah well, enjoyed...

We missed the first 20+ minutes of the first half because the barcodes on our tickets would not scan. They were printed at the NW gate box office just minutes prior, but after waiting in line through security and being denied entry, we had to go back out and have them reprinted, and then go through security again. I missed quite a lot of important parts of the game, like Toronto scoring the only goal of the match. We're paying a ticket service charge for what, exactly?

Just be careful for their new "Clear Bag Policy". You cannot bring your own bag, and if you have any (no matter nothing inside) you are not allowed to bring them. You have to be in line for about 30-40 min, pay $10 to leave your baggage. The game itself was very exciting!

The quality of customer "service" has fallen at CenturyLink Field. Staff closed the ramp and stated that my parents-in-law would have to take the stairs to get to 300 level. What? Or we could wait in an enormous line for the postage stamp size elevator. What? Too many people seem to have no interest in the game and walk up and down and up and down the aisles blocking the view of the field.

I was so happy to attend our first Sounders game with my husband, son and his two friends. What made this event extra special was not only did we WIN! Yay!....but "John" who was providing assistance (maybe some security) in our section went out of his way to make the boys' night memorable. He went above and beyond and is top notch! He showed the boys where they could go to possibly get the best glimpse of the players and even let them borrow a sharpie for autographs. By the time we left each of the boys' knew him by name and thanked him and said good-bye. Thank you, John, for doing what you do!

Great game, the Sounders won. I got to go with a wonderful and beautiful friend of mine. We had a great time watching the game and enjoyed the win though it was cold but at least we were covered from the rain.

Been to CenturyLink many times. Never had a bad seat, even in the "nose bleed" section. Alcohol and food is pricey but that is par for the course at most stadiums. And the Sounders kicked butt! "Come on Seattle...Fight and Win!"

This game was absolutely incredible. First off, it was a complete honor and privilege to hold the American flag during the National Anthem. Then, to be apart of the Emerald City Support family was wicked awesome! Three goals in the second half was icing on the cake! Even though it rained the entire match, the experience was unforgettable!

Great experience. The crowd is loud but these back sections are a little more quiet. Cheering is welcome but drunk noise is apparently not. If you're looking for a more rowdy crowd, stand/ sit further forward or to the right in the wild fan area. Will def sit here again though.

Match was very back and fourth, sitting in the fan section was a good time. Definitely worth it if you enjoy loud environments and sporting events. If you're sitting in the fan section prepare to stand for all 90 minutes.
