2nd Last Ringling X-Treme Show ever. Got to see a trainer turn his back on 10 tigers lined up in a row! Aerialists and Acrobats were awesome. Camel stunt riding and a trained dog sow. The performers all smiled and waved, as it was their first show. The Greatest Show on Earth!
It was a memorable experience for my adult children and their spouses, my 6 grandchildren. and me. It was a wonderful day for me to be able to share the circus that my kids saw when young and I experienced as a child. A magical day. The performers are so talented. It is such a shame that future generations will miss out.
Goodbye Barnum and Bailey red team. Their final show was amazing, touching, happy, and sad all at once. They made us laugh, and today, I cried as well. The cast and crew showed consummate professionalism in performing what had to have been the most difficult show of their career. Watching Taba, the big cat trainer, break down and cry during his act was heartbreaking. His unscripted address to the audience at the end of his act showed the love that he had for his family (all circus people), the audience, and his tigers. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that those cats were loved and cared for well. He loved his co-workers, and I have tears in my eyes now just thinking of it. Cheers and goodbye to the entire cast and crew for years of entertainment - they will be missed... see you down the road guys...
Amazing! So much action. New and traditional acts. Jumping, running, flying, biking/BMX. How do they coordinate so no one runns into each other with so many acts going at once? You gotta see this show!! Did I mention it is amazing and Best Show Ever!!??
I was thrilled to see so many young people clowning around and singing and! dancing: performing and doing a show with such high energy. Reflecting - what the circus of 'Today' should be. 'Mable' a 58 year old elephant was the mascot opening the show and then there were the camels, the high wire, clowns, gymnasts, the ringmaster and a couple who seemed to lead the Broadway show...at first I thought they were clowns and then at the end of the show they had an act with their dogs that was as charming as it was impressive. From the tigers to the young man - who was able to run up and around the the circular cage spinning and revolving up and down - to the Mongolian performance. The singing and dancing was grand - 'A choreographed Show' that flowed from one act to diverting the attention from the crowd away from setting to set up another act and voila there were camels, elephants and tigers: tumblers, the youngest woman to be shot from the cannon and trampoline artists and bmx bikers who were awesome... It was truly 'A' Broadway show and The Ringling Bros. and Barnum Bailey Circus all in one. A wonderful show (in my opinion to bring the family to) that brings the theater and the circus together under the 'Big Top'.
I grew up going to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus every year with my family. I've got tons of cups, lights, programs, photos and fond memories. This last circus did not disappoint. I'm all grown up now so it was only appropriate to attend the last circus tour with my family. The collectibles and photo opportunities were amazing. It was truly a family event. The show was entertaining and each act offered something unique. Thrill and fun and laughs...couldn't ask for a better way to end a family tradition. Thank you Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey for The Greatest Show on Earth!
My girls and I really enjoyed the show. We hate to see it go. The Circus was something we looked forward to every year. Lastly, I miss the elephants though.
I don't think "Extreme" is the right word. There wasn't anything particular during this event that would fall under the definition of "Extreme." It was very normal, average, regular circus stuff. Also, you will not see any Lions, and you won't see any dirt motorcycle's either. Those are only at the "other" circus, not the "Extreme." Even still... regardless of which one you go to, it will be the last of the circus as we've come to know it. At least under the names of "Barnum & Bailey." I sense another name coming soon! Don't you?
Over all was a good circus but I was very upset because I had a three year old that kept asking me where was the lions and the horses. We visited on Thursday night and we missed half of the show because they did not introdouce the lions just the tigers and no horses!! It was my sons first and last night and he didn't even get to see what he was most excited about!!! VERY UPSETTING !!!!!!!! My cousin went Saturday morning and she posted pics of all of it and they saw the lions and the horses!!
It was a great show! Such a historic moment being the last Ringling Brother events ever! Had a great time. I hadn't been in years, so I didn't realize that a lot of the animals had been removed from the show but so that was a little disappointing but overall still The Greatest Show on Earth!
It was great entertainment, full of action and excitement. Always something happening. The talent and skills of the entertainers was amazing. The high wire acts, the juggling, the balance and artistry of the performers was excellent. The humor was also right on. The camels act was great, The tigers were excellent, very high energy with very well trained show people. I am so glad we went to see the show. It will be a great memory.

Miss the elephants can't believe they are gone. Sad that this is the last tour. Wish there were more horses too. And where were the clowns? Show was good but a lot of filler. Tight rope and slack line were really cool.

The kid in me could barely wait to see the circus. The grandfather in me was excited to see the face of my two year old on her very first circus experience and her mother's enjoyment of being able to experience it with her after years of circus' as a kid. The moment of all of us together was priceless and memorable. However, the memory of the circus itself will be as memorable but in another way. I must say it as a whole was quite disappointing. Obviously it was foreknown that the elephants would not be performing. But, where were the horses or the Dome of motorcycles? The camel act was three times to long, and the singing intermissions were to many. The high wire performers were great The spinning, pendulum was lack luster with only one performer, multiple performers in years past. Concession stands and novelty stands were to few for the attendance, 20-40-60+ minute in a line to make a purchase, especially after the show.. The experience was emotionally subdued knowing it was the last,, but also exciting to be able to take the family to the last. It was far from Extreme, compared to past performances. No disrespect to the the many performers, trainers, set-up crews and all participants that create the circus experience. Our heart goes out to them at this end of a life-time era, Wishing them the very Best.

We loved the performance by Ringling Brothers Circus. This is the first time I have ever been and now my last. My daughter and husband and I were watching in awe and amazement from the the alien Ariel act to the dogs, tigers, pendulum and everything in between. So much action, high energy! We truly enjoyed our day. Bravo!

It was an awesome event for my Grandbabies. It was their first Circus. For me it was lacking something really Big, like the elephants, it's no longer the Greatest Show on Earth without the elephants sorry.

The circus was amazing. I have been to several circuses since I was a child (mid 1950's) until this last one. My wife and I decided this would be our Anniversary gift (30 yrs) we are very glad we did. The Ringmaster (Mistress) made the show what is was supposed to be "The Greatest Show On Earth". I am sad to know this is one of the last shows as ALL Children should get the enjoyment of the Greatest Show on Earth. We were mesmerized through the entire show. The personnel at Amalie Arena are the best, I purchased great seats, since my wife can not utilize stairs the staff made arrangements to give us excellent seats that were accessible. They also guided me into the seats as I was late due to parking.

This has always been a family favorite. It's sad that a family of 4 has to spend at least $500 all inclusive for mediocre seats to enjoy such a wonderful performance.

This was mine and my family's first time to a circus show and I'm sad to say it's the last. We went on a Saturday morning show and it was filled with kids so definitely a family friendly show. All acts were very entertaining even if all the animals were removed from the show it was still a very exciting show to watch. Everybody's performance was on point. There was thrill, excitement, and comical moments. The acrobats and the trampoline performers were some of the best in my opinion. The animals were a nice touch especially for kids but honestly the human performers had such amazing talent. I hope everyone finds another company they can continue to show off their talent. I will miss this truly American tradition. God bless you all. Thank you for a great show from Florida.
The Extreme Circus is worth seeing for one last time. It is unfortunate that there were no elephants. My wife and still enjoyed the the animal acts and high wire performers.
We were saddened to hear about the shutting down of the Circus and wanted to go see it one last time . The whole event was exciting, the performances were excellent , and for a brief two hrs we travelled back in time to recall our times of going to the circus as kids.
The last time I went to a Ringling Bros. circus they were still using three rings. I was concerned with the modern format that it would not be a "spectacle" like I had remembered as a child. The performers were unbelievable! The crew setting up for the next act did a fantastic job and are just as much a part of the show as anyone else, it was flawless. I do wish there were more animals, but times have changed and I get that. I am very sorry to see the circus close, it really is the end of an era. It really is the greatest show on Earth!
I Have been attending the circus since I was a child. Now as an adult I have gotten to enjoy it even more with my Mom. It's very sad that Ringling Brothers is not continuing the circus. It has brought a lot of great memories such as the motorcycle wheel, The elephants, Definitely the tigers just to name a few. If you have a chance to see this last performance and be a part of history I highly recommend it. The performers are all just amazing. I wish them all luck in the future!
It's a shame they will be closing up shop and no longer be around. Just thankful I has awesome seats and able to bring my 5yr old to basically his first and last circus!
I took my grown children and grand children to the last show in Nh on Sunday. OMG I haven't seen the show in years. I am saddened that it was the last. It was an amazing show. There was something for everyone. My only issue was the cost of the souveniers. Fifteen dollars for an elephant cup with snow cone is expensive. Ten for a bag of cotton candy. Otherwise it was amazng. My 6 yr old grand daughter cried all the way home because she would never be able to see it again.
On the most part it was entertaining. They tried to fill the space without the elephants. These animals are truly part of any circus and were truly missed. Some acts really do not belong in the circus. Overall, fun.

The greatest show on Earth is running into its last days. Its with great sadness that Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus is ending. Its been a great multi year tradition with my aunt and Im very sad to see it end. I caught the last show ever to be held in Worcester. Although good it went out more with a whimper them a bang. The elephants are no longer part of the show. That came to an end last year. So in their place we had. .................camels. Yes they are pretty and interesting. But watching them run circles for 4 minutes doesn't hold ones attention. The shows story line was very disjointed and hobbled together. Making some acts feel completely out of place. Although it was cool to see a woman ringmaster at this performance. It does bring a tear to the eye that not only is this once great show is coming to an end but that a family tradition is as well.

So sad that this is the "Final Farewell" for Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. When we found out it would be the last tour, we had to make a point of going "one more time". It was different from the circus I grew up with as the elephants and some of the other animals are no longer a part of it, but still plenty of excitement and new acts that made it very enjoyable. We all had our favorites; TIGERS, tight rope, human cannonball, pendulum, and bike tricks to name a few. Bittersweet though that this will soon just be a part of history and next generations will not have a chance to experience the greatest show on earth.

Took our 12 year old son to see a circus for the first time and perhaps the last time since for us, if it's not Ringling Brothers, it's just not the same. So sad that this venue is ending after so many years...we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the show. Wishing all the performers and animal trainers and the animals all the best wherever life will now take them. I only wish Cary could have seen the elephants too...

It's sad to write this but thankfully the circus is ending because I'd never go back. I was bored to death. It's the same show I saw 3, 4 and 5 years ago with the exception of the elephants. This year there was camels, lions and poodles. No three ring circus, no motorcycle in a cage, no horses, no elephants, or no trapeze act. The prices were ridiculous as usual. ($7.50 for a large drink!!!) I purchased a program THINKING...HOPING it would be a commemorative program marking the 140 years of circus performances but NO! What I got was an old program from 2015 that had completely different show related information. It showed the elephants that would perform, a male ring master (this year was supposedly the first female) and other performances that never happened. Such a huge disappointment all around. They blame kids' lack of interest for the reason to close the circus? First? Try lowering your prices and bring back some of the original performances and maybe that would help.

Overall a good time and a very memorable one at that. About two hours total. First female Ringmaster in history which was cool. Also, this act had the tiger tamer. There were camels and dogs too. Tightrope act was the best I've seen in many years. Sadly, there was no trapeze act (greatly missed), but the guy who is on the circle in air was cool and the cannon lady was too. Award-winning comic (clown) duo. Before the show, many of the acts did tricks for the audience and you could get some autographs and try on costumes. They even had a bounce house for kids. Overall, a great way for the circus to go out. Very nostalgic and will fully admit I got a little testy eyed when it ended.

I was so disappointed to hear that Ringling Bros was ending the show, so when I heard I got on Ticketmaster to see if they would be coming back to Nashville, sadly they weren't they had been there in 2016 and because of other things going on at the time I wasn't able to take my granddaughter. Well I found out they were going to be in Cincinnati and since I have family there I bought tickets I am so glad that I did the show was amazing. the Ringmaster is wonderful. Great smile!! My granddaughter loved it! I encourage everyone to go and see the circus before it closes it up forever. It is definitely worth it.

I was in love with this show. We were in third row and felt like we were in the clowns lap! The clowns come up to you during show and entertain the kids, and keep everyone laughing. The intermission went by so fast as well because the clowns came out and did some funny acts that kept everyone going. We enjoyed this show so much that when we got home, we got tickets to their other show "out of this world" in West Virginia! Kids were flipping for joy when they heard. I now regret though, not taking them all years past. It blew me away with all they do. And LOVE THE RINGMASTER!!!! She was AMAZING!! She has the talent and voice for this show. So glad they have her.

Got a chance to take my 2 and 3 year old grandchildren last Saturday. I was worried that they may be too young to sit still for that long. No worries! They loved it. It held their attention the whole time. I'm so glad they got to experience such a fun event before it's gone. Sure did miss the elephant act. Liked that the circus included some discussion about animal conservation during the show. My love for animals came, partly, from seeing them in the circus and in zoos. It's sad that people have taken that opportunity away from children.

The experience was nice, before the show began they allowed the audience to come down and play. The show was kind of boring especially since this was the last show. The camels were boring, the dog show was boring, the tiger show was boring, the guy on the spinning wheel almost fell multiple times and slipped twice and dropped the jumping rope. WHERE WERE THE ELEPHANTS???????

I enjoyed every minute of the show, but was very sad, knowing that I would never experience Ringling Bros. again. It is unfortunate that animal rights groups have to put venues like the circus out of business. While I am all for proper animal care, Ringling Bros. clearly takes wonderful care of their animals. The bactrian camels had silky, beautiful fur, the dogs were clearly having a blast entertaining the audience, and since I own 9 tigers and know what a healthy tiger is supposed to look like, the Ringling tigers were in tip top shape; well muscled, amazing pelage. Perhaps a petition should be started, to keep Ringling Bros. in business, to entertain future generations. I urge everyone to show their support to this amazing circus.

Figured for my daughters first and probably only time to the circus, we would go all out and get front row. 1st - they don't tell you which side "they" consider the front so essentially we paid premium to sit behind the sound guys and all the stuff you aren't supposed to see. our premium tickets came with a view of all the wires and people shuffling between sets. (btw: if your looking at the stage, the left side is apparently the back) Next - i understand with all the people protesting about animals however - what is the circus?? There were camels, tigers, and dogs. That's it. I felt like it was Circ-de-sole but with colorful costumes. Not really a circus by my standards. Guess this is why they are shutting down. And i understand the equal rights, but everything but the tiger master was a woman lead. Really?

I'm so sad that this circus is being forced to close its bigtop forever, this was such an amazing show. A lot of people were upset that there were not as many animals but even with most of the performances being acrobatics, it made your heart pound in your chest. And the animals that where there, you could tell that they were very well taken care of and that their handlers loved them dearly.

So I missed the beloved elephants. I know why they are gone, but I still missed them. They had camels instead. Camels. Oh! AND DOGS. We didn't even pay much attention to the dogs. Perhaps can the whole animal aspect! Now...I loved the trampolines! The mermaids and day glow acrobats were fun! Overall a good time but glad my pair of seats were under $50.

I have been to many Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey Circus's. This one was still a lot of fun and energy but I feel it was more of a gymnastic event than a circus. No real clown acts to speak of. They had a lot of painted faces on people but they were more of a hip hop dance show than clowns. Still a good show but needed more of the traditional circus acts. Too many times I felt like I was watching a B rated Extreme Sports show like the X-Games. All in all we all still had fun which was the main thing. I took my whole family 11 of us in the front row and we had fun but in other shows when my kids were young we sat on the first row and the performers interacted with my kids and the audience more. My adult son said to me I thought they would come closer and play with the crowd more like when we were kids.

The circus continues to reduce in the 'wow factor' the opening act with camels was extremely boring, no horses or elephants this year either. A lot of the acts were repeats from the following year. I go annually and this year was by far the worst.

My nephew enjoyed the show and thankfully did not understand or notice the tiger ringmaster kept whipping the tigers. At one point the tigers swatted because he kept hitting them. One of them even bowed down in fear. That's shameful. After being in trouble with the elephants I really would have hoped they changed how they treat animals. Overall the show was great but the treatment of the tigers was sad. Great seats though, you could see everything perfectly.

This was my daughter, Julianna's first time going to the circus and she loved it. She's still talking about the tigers and the clowns. Thank you for a wonderful family night!

My daughter absolutely loved the entire show, she was a bit disappointed there was barely any animals considering it's a circus.. however, overall they made it up with all the talented additions.

IT was a good show, but not great. The kids were not fully engaged in most of the show. They lost interest quickly.

Haven't been to a circus in over 30 years when my 4 children were younger. Now I get to take the grandchildren. Not only was my 4 year old grandson amazed, but so were his grandparents! Absolutely amazing performance and I recommend it for all pre teens. Van Andel arena was an amazing venue for this show

The circus was so much more than we expected. The show was entertaining throughout and kept my three year old granddaughter said it was the best day ever! I haven't been in years because we were disappointed at our last visit. Ringling Brothers is a class act and professional entertainment that did not disappoint! Thank you for and amazing show!!

This was our first time going to the circus. It was sooo good. We are a family of 5, and we all loved it. All the performers are so talented and the costumes are beautiful and colorful and all glittery. The guy running thru and on top of the big metal pendulum thing was absolutely the star of the show in my opinion. Tigers were lovely, all the dancers and clowns, and trampoline guys were great. I can't say enough good things about the whole show. I will definitely go again. Fort Worth convention center is very nice and convenient too. Everybody should go. Its great.

I thought the show was nice however it didn't wow me like it once did. It also seemed rather short for what we paid for. They mention large cats but only bring out tigers. Also, the elephants sure are missed. It was nice but not as exciting as the past shows.

This show was amazing! I enjoyed it to the end and felt like a big kid! I do miss the elephants and the tigers jumping through burning holes and hula hoops as they did when I was a kid. But all in all it was extreme and exciting! My kids and myself really had a blast!

The circus is not what it used to be. No more elephants. No more horses. No more motorcycle stunts. What really disappointed me the most is that when I took my four year old to the bathroom, the NRG employees threw away our food and stole our souvenirs. I paid for the dinner tickets. We had seats at a table in the front row. My four year old needed to go to the restroom and so I took him up the long flights of stairs to the bathroom. Upon our return, all of our food items, drinks, souvenirs, and picture were gone. I started to look around under chairs, under the table, in front of the riser the table was on. It wasn't until I started to make a huge fuss that an employee pulled our stuff out from behind their workstation. They had dumped a completely full $12 lemonade out and my son's $12 snow cone that he waiting for it to melt so he could drink it. (I was extremely mad that I only paid for the drink because we were thirsty and we didn't even get to drink it.) They had kept the souvenir cups and had removed our picture from the souvenir frame I purchased. Another employee had hidden my son's shoes under another riser. (My son jumped in the bouncy castle and hadn't put his shoes back on at intermission.) I don't understand how an employee could watch a mother holding two small children frantically looking for their purchased items and just not say anything until they could see that I was going to make a big deal about it. Maybe they thought I would be quiet and polite, and leave without saying anything. I paid over $75 for the souvenirs and even more per ticket for the food that we didn't get to finish. I really like the circus but time and time again the employees at NRG park ruin events that we attend there. I hope the circus can find another venue to host them. As long as they are at NRG we will never go back.
