I knew this show was gonna be good as soon as I walked up to the entrance and saw The Pete!! Wasted some time drinking while the first two bands played, but when the Souls started it was ON! Great set, good crowd (only thing better would have been to be on the East coast instead). Pits in L.A. are pretty tame, but still cannot escape the unbeatable energy from this awesome band!

Two of punk rock's finest bands played at the Troc last night and it was everything and more that I imagined it would be! Tim Barry opened and played acoustic and captivated the crowd. At one point he came down into the audience and played in the middle of the floor. Lifetime came on next and it was great to see a band that has been around almost as long as the Bouncing Souls. They really got the energy up in the crowd. Bouncing Souls came on and behind them played various videos that they had made that corresponded to the songs. They played a energy infused show as always! I'm so glad I got to see this show last night.!

The Bouncing Souls rocked Webster Hall Friday Night August 21st. As a long time Souls fan I would have to say this was the best show that I've seen them play in NYC EVER!!!.(have seen the Souls upwards of 10 times). This no bull nonstop action toped off the night after 7 seconds got the punk rockers rockin. The souls played everyone of there "core" songs including Kate, True B, Cracked, Manthum, Gone, Anchors Aweigh, lifetime, Born Free, Ole, kids and heroes and of coarse a new fan favorite Gold. This show was also highlighted by the fact the the lead singer Greg Antonio finnally learned how to play the acoustic and sing at the same time. Great Show overall.

The Souls NEVER cease to amaze me! The energy of the crowd is something one has to experience themselves to truly understand. None More Black were simply amazing, as were 7 Seconds. I've seen the Souls about 15 times and looking forward to at least another 15!

This show was UNFORGETTABLE. Not only did they manage to NOT play anything from the Gold Record (in my opinion their worst one) but they played their entire collection from Maniacal Laughter AND Hopeless Romantic. I will, for sure, see this band again, and again, and again.

The show was excellent. The venue besides being boiling was great. The staff at Webster Hall were true professionals. No barricades and old school crowd surfing like back in the eighties. The Souls played a great mix of old and new.

The three opening acts were great - Blacktop Kids ROCKED ! Awesome energy to pump up the early crowd. Hope to see more of them. High Energy and great performances continued through White Wives and Title Fight who really got the crowd going. Bouncing Souls played to a Stone Pony packed with their most loyal fans and they gave them what they wanted... via a Bingo Machine with all of their songs in it, rolled and picked after each song. They played some new stuff from their 'to be released' new album whenever the 'new music' ball came up which really sounded great..

Wowsers! The renovations to the North Six in Brooklyn is spectacular! Sound is great and not a bad place to stand in the house! Feels very up close and personal. They also painted some things white and changed the location of the bar and took out that random stadium standing/seating thing. Is this the same place?!? GREAT JOB ON THE REN! They allow stage diving which is cool; but kids go overboard. The same person getting up to the stage 6x in one song!? C'mon~don't be annoying -- stop running out of the pit and get back in here and dance! Really no need to comment on the Souls - are they ever bad!? Sing along forever! PS: Opening act Defiance, Ohio is a band to check out. if you dig the older Against Me! (think 1st and 2nd ep) for it's raw feeling, multiple vocalist punk rock with a violin and DYI feel; worth the listen. I was impressed!

the bouncing shows put on an incredible show. this is one of my favorite bands and ive been waiting way to long to see these guys play. however the people at the el ray were really lame and no one was in the pit... NO ONE... idk the show kinda looses its intensity when noone is dancing or when only half of the fans are singing the lyrics. the bouncing souls is a band worth seeing... just dont go out when they bring all the too cool kids...

I would recommend going to the Majestic to anyone! Also the Bouncing Souls were AMAZING!! Like always their sound quality and volume are unbelievable. The two opening bands truely played their hearts out, and I thoroughly enjoyed THeir intensity. The bouncing Souls played all the favorites and even some Misfits covers. Heres to twenty more years of bouncing souls!!!

THE BOUNCING SOULS ROCK IT TO THE FULLEST EVERY WHERE THEY GO.. I SAW BOTH SHOWS IN SF AND THE ONE ON HALLOWEEN DOWN HERE AND THEY WERE ALL UNFORGETTABLE!! Such a fun night :o) I couldn't think of anything more fun that going to see the Bouncing Souls on "Mischief Night". The opening acts were a bit lackluster, but what can you really expect. The crowd was packed and amped. The sound at the El Rey is great and there really isnt a bad spot in the house. The Bouncing Souls were great, and their older songs definitely got the pit spinning. I would definitely recommend spending your hard earned cash on one of their shows.

Didn't make it to see broadway calls which was a little bummed. Bayside looks tired from the road they need a break hit the studio, but did like there set list as it has changed from the past 2 times I have seen them. Bouncing Souls saved the show, haven't seen them in 7 years and they rocked even though there almost 50. Great selections through there entire catalog. Big sound and great sing alongs. Drinks were terribly overpriced.

There have never been many BS shows that have not been great. The only drawback was that the show was at the Trocadero. I was forced to arrive late to the show and standing in the upstairs...could only see Lifetime from the knees down. We got better seats for the Souls and really enjoyed their set. They played songs from all of their albums with a few surprises. Hybrid Moments by The Misfits was splendid.

Bouncing Souls and Lifetime were great - no doubt about it - lots of fun like usual. Tim Barry however in my opinion was unforgettable, eye opening, and soul searching. The man has a lot to say with deep feeling behind it. Awesome evening overall!!

First saw 7 Seconds around '86 and they were one of the best positive hardcore bands with a huge influence on the DC and NY scenes. They still have the energy and spirit and put on a kick-ass show. Took the Souls a few songs to get into it, but once the energy cranked up, they were their usual fun, energetic selves.

The Bouncing Souls 20 years and rocking better then the young punks of today... Once again The Bouncing Souls have rocked the Troc in Philly. This show lacked nothing. From the endless chants of OLE's, to all the Crowd Surfing and sing-a-longs. It's hard to believe The Bouncing Souls are a 20 year old band. The band still sounds great and it is a must see show of the summer... I rate this show 10 out of 10 OLEs'

I loved the outdoor venue at the stone pony, and to cap it all off, there was an awesome performance from all bands, especially the mezingers and bouncing souls. I will continue to go see the menzingers everytime they come around!

The Menzingers stole the show, which says a lot since i was there to see the Bouncing Souls. The Souls sounded good, but didn't play many songs. Being that it was the 25th anniversary, i was expecting them to Jam out. The mix of The Menzingers and Bouncing Souls was cool and made for a fun show.

The show was awesome once the bouncing souls went on but the openers were not very good in my opinion. All hardcore punk bands and most were not very good. None more black had some decent stuff but for the most part everyone else sucked bad. It was crazy raining and snowing on the way there but the souls made the show worth the hassle of getting there from north jersey.

The Souls alone will always get 5 stars in my book. I just wish there were more bands like them to open for them. (hence the -1 star). None of the openers were bad (The Menzingers, Broadway Calls, and Luther) ... just nothing very memorable. You would have to have a much better lineup to get an overall 5 stars from me. Would definitely recommend this show to anyone though. The Souls new album is great and they are always worth the ticket price.

This show was absolutely unforgettable. The Bouncing Souls never disappoint. The opening band The Menzingers was awesome as well I'd definitely like to see them again. The venue didn't get over packed so it was much more enjoyable than a lot of other shows...and I was actually able to get into the circle pit.

The concert was absolutely amazing, but I never found a crowd as unable to crowd surf / stage dive as this one. Totally worth it, but I got back home with a black eye and a sprained wrist, thank you very much. Venue is just pointless, some barricades and security guys would have been the perfection of the night. Oh well.

I have seen the Bouncing Souls loads and loads of times in the past few years, and this record release show (and the Philadelphia one the day before) were by far the best shows I have ever seen them play. The vocals were spot on, so much energy in them. Everything was great. And the background videos and the whole "Comet" experience was really cool too. I can't wait to see them when they hit Brooklyn in August!
