Phil Vassar put on another awesome show. He is one of the best performers that I've seen. He consistently puts on an energetic and entertaining show. I will definitely be looking forward to his next concert. Also, he was so generous with his time at the end of the concert. He stayed until his fans all got a chance to talk with him or get a photo at the stage. I was lucky enough that a nice lady had an extra meet and greet pass. He was really cool and very close with his fans.

We have seen Phil Vassar at a number of different venues over the past decade. He NEVER disappoints! He played a full 1 1/2 hours without a break. It's a high energy show with great piano riffs and all of Phil's hits, both ones he's recorded and others he has written. This was our first trip to the Meadows. The venue was fine with the possible exception of having to have our tickets scanned to go out and reenter when going to the rest room. Fortunately the ticket takers handled this with courtesy and professionalism. We look forward to returning to see another show at the Meadows, and we'll DEFINITELY be back to see Phil Vassar, wherever he is performing!

The facility was intimate, the food was really good southern food and the staff were attentive. It was a totally enjoyable show! Phil did an awesome job entertaining all 4 of us eve though only two of us knew who he was. The only negative was the stage set up. For the entire show we only saw Phil s back because of piano placement. I d definitely see a show there again and definitely see Phil again.
Great show, moved from one song to the next. Heard a ton of his music. Great small hall. If you get the chance go see Phil.

Phil Vassar always puts on the greatest show. This is my seventh PV concert and I never listened to country music until I heard him several years ago. I must say that the turnout at Belterra was very disappointing. This venue was NOT listed on his concert schedule; only on Belterra's. A friend alerted me two days prior...At many other shows, he is sold out. Please have him back to the casino, but make sure it is well advertised. Getting to meet him afterwards was unbelievable!

First time we had ever been to 8 Seconds. Love the atmosphere and the ice cold refreshments. Phil was phantastic. The only problem we had was the acoustics weren't that great. We didn't expect theatre quality, but the sound was a little bit of an issue. Even during the breaks, the PA system was terrible and we could not understand what was being said by the DJ / announcer.

Phil was awesome on Friday, October 8 at Harrah's in AC! His opening act was North of Mason-Dixon and they were incredible too. It never ceases to amaze me how much energy Phil has during a concert - singing, playing piano, jumping on the piano, and overall running around!!! He even jumped down off the stage at one point and was mingling with the crowd - unbelievable!!!!!

This was Phil's second show this weekend at Harrah's. The show was totally different from the night before. Different set list, and a much more excited crowd. Phil was jumping onto his piano, and he even spun around on his belly and did pushups on the piano...I haven't seen him do that in a long time. Maybe that glass of red wine that Harrah's gave him made him a little energetic! Loved the fact that the band guys got to perform their own songs tonight. There was no opener, so they had more time to play...ALWAYS a bonus. I was hoping he would just stay up there and perform forever, because it was an absolutely wonderful show. Phil, you are the shiniest star in the sky, and I hope other people start to notice it!

As my favorite artist, it's hard NOT to say he is wonderful. But he is. High energy, great songs (which all of his songs are written by him)...alot of sing-a-longs of popular songs we all know and love. Even the "older" crowd that didn't really know who he was were boppin' in their seats and clapping by the end of the show. Atlantic City shows are not really how Phil's shows are...they are a little subdued because alot of people don't know him...it is a rough beginning, but in the end, everyone had a great time. I am sure he got alot of new fans tonight. And having the fan club here from all over helped alot too!!!

He's never disappointed me. I've seen Phil 6 times and every time he is amazing. Saturday night he rocked the house. Played his hits that would be expected and then changed it up with a sing a long of "Summer Nights" from Grease. He has huge amounts of energy bouncing from one end of the stage to another then up on top of his piano. His version of "Piano Man" is right on the mark. Anytime you get a chance to see this man, definitely do it!!! He is well worth it.

Although the parking and transportation at the OC MD Sunfest was quite disappointing........Gloriana and Phil Vassar were definitely not!! While we missed about 15 minutes of Gloriana (it started exactly at 8pm), we did hear a couple of familiar songs and they are cute. Phil Vassar was AMAZING........the weather was hot (about 90 degrees) and so was he:) He played most of his greatest hits and was excellent at entertaining the audience (surprisingly or not, albeit half were over 50 y/o). The lighting, the band and his voice were great......especially the acoustic. We had two seats in Sec A, Row 4, the tickets were worth the money and then some. The layout was a little different than shown in the view listed on ticketmaster.com, the sections were not divided and made it visibly confusing but there were plenty of employees to assist you. I was happy that Phil Vassar's team was humble enough to play for such a small venue. I would love to attend another one of his concerts!

Phil Vassar ALWAYS puts on a great show..that's why we drove 4 hours to go see him in Ocean City! He puts on a high energy show, and plays all of his best hits...in addition, he does alot of sing-a-longs to get the crowd involved...Summer Nights from Grease was a huge hit with the crowd! He interracts with the crowd alot, signs autographs, bends down for pictures with people...and he jumps up on his piano so that he could see the whole crowd, and they could see him! I wish he would sing some songs from his latest CD "Traveling Circus"!

Phil Vassar is a true entertainer. It s refreshing to go see an artist who actually enjoys performing live. Phil Vassar worked the crowd, and the entire stage, to ensure that everyone in attendance felt like part of the show. Phil was definitely the star of the show however his band was just as entertaining. Upon their introduction each member broke into their own versions of classic songs that had everyone in the crowd singing along as if you were at your neighborhood bar after a fun night of drinking. This was my first concert at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center and I would definitely return. The Sound was great, the room intimate and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The only issue I could see anyone having would be that due to its small size fans were able to run down to the stage to shake hands with the performer. The catch however is that there was no one down there to send them back up. By midway through the show there were so many people down there that it was almost impossible to go get a drink or even use the stairs. Overall this was one of the most enjoyable concerts I have been to. It goes to show that if you re a good performer with good songs you don t need all the lights and glam of a huge stage presentation to entertain your audience. Something that Phil Vassar did Saturday night with ease.

Presented at the intimate setting of the Burnsville Performing Arts Center in Burnsville, MN, the Phil Vassar concert was a delight for all who attended! He performed many of my favorites, along with tastes from his new album coming out in December, Traveling Circus . (I will definitely be adding this one to my collection!) The audience was treated to Phil s customary showmanship, including piano spins, and he was in great voice that night. A nice touch was when the band members were introduced and each one demonstrated his talents by performing songs individually as well. From beginning to end\u2026everything from Carlene and American Child through his catchy new songs Bobbi With an I and Everywhere I Go ,\u2026 this show was Just Another Day in Paradise for this Phil Vassar fan!

Phil is my favorite singer/entertainer. He has written many hits for other artists and when people see him for the first time, they are amazed! He has bundles of energy and runs across the stage engaging the whole audience. My favorite part is when he slides or stands on the piano! And nice abs and muscles.. I had meet and greet pass for this concert and got a hug and autograph from him. He really appreciates his fans and takes time to meet before most concerts. I go to MANY concerts every year, usually seeing him a couple of times and have traveled far and introduced many other friends to him. He is one of the hardest working guys in country music playing weekly all over the country...I hope you get a chance to see him soon! Kathy

First time that I attended a concert in St. Leonard and the first time that I saw Little Big Town. The venue was outdoors, something I wasn't aware of, but it was a great place for a concert. I think it sat somewhere around 3,000. I really enjoy smaller venues, more intimate! Little Big Town was amazing. Such harmonizing vocals! They did a cover from Fleetwood Mac, "The Chain". Great job! Phil Vassar has endless energy, standing, sitting, roaming around the stage, talking, singing and connecting with fans. It's clear how much he enjoys performing, and appreciates his fans. Instead of a set list, this time Phil wanted to include the audience in the show by having us Tweet song suggestions during the show. That was a fabulous idea, except that the venue had very poor service. Only a few Tweets got through, so the fans began to write their suggestions on napkins and paper and hand it forward to the stage. The show is better than you can imagine. He just pulls you in and keeps you singing along "Even if you don't know the words". His band is a lot of fun too.

this was our 5th time seeing phil. always always a fabulous concert. but this time phil never took off his sunglasses and it seemed the medication he said he was taking for his back impaired his singing a bit. the worst part was the base kept cranking up and eventually drowned out phil. i hope someone in phil's entourage reads that part! there was a mike stand that ended up with a flag hanging on it, which seemed a bit disrespectful; but when it was put in between the audience and phil, we couldn't see him. pay attention! but we will always go see phil when he is in town.

A Phil Vassar concert is a must see for anyone who in looking for a good time. Phil's energy is killing. Durring the hour and a half or so set, Phil does not let up. He reminds me of the great Neal McCoy. Anyone who's been to a Neal McCoy show knows exactly what im talking about, he's one of the best entertaininers in the business. Phil, also known for his songwritting can sure bang it out on his piano, which at times he uses for a second stage. The venue (the Mark G.Etess Arena at theThrump Taj Mahal) is an intimate setting. The acoustics are just so-so. But they let you in on the fun, as they allow you to stand up close at the stage durring the show. The overall experiance was awesome, Phil Vasar is one helluva entertainer.·

It had been a few years since I'd seen Phil in concert - won't make that same mistake again. I had forgotten how awesome and entertaining he is. And the fact that this was a fairly small intimate room made the show even better. He solicited requests from the crowd (and boy did he get them!) and I believe he played every one - even some off the wall requests for songs that weren't "his." A very stripped down show where its all about the music - and his band matches him note for note in spectacular musicianship. If Phil's playing in your neighborhood GO particularly in a small room.

Mr. Vassar is extremely talented. Not only did he perform so many of his own top hits, but also songs he'd written for Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, and JoDee Mesina. He also did a great rendition of Charlie Rich's "Behind Closed Doors". He was so genuine and with the venue only holding 600, it was a fabulously personal event. I would go back and see him again in a heartbeat.

Phil is a great songwriter, vocalist and piano player. He always has an excellent band including his bassist Jeff (they grew up together in Lynchburg, VA). This is Phil's home state so he had several friends in the audience. He spoke about very local parts of his life. Phil is happy and upbeat, and grateful for those who enjoy his music. He is a very high energy performer, very engaging with the audience, and is an extrovert that loves to perform and share his music. I was a little disappointed Phil didn't jump up on top of the piano as I've seen him do in previous performances, but he was playing a smaller electronic keyboard, not a Baby Grand! :) Go see Phil if you get the chance - you will enjoy the evening!

The Birchmere is small and quaint venue. It has been here for years and has seen thousands of artists over the years. The stage was set up almost in a Las Vegas style manner for Christmas. Phil Vassar came out by himself for the first song "Black and Whites" and immediately began engaging his audience. If you can't tell by his song lyrics, he is a great story teller. He will make you laugh. He makes you feel like you are sitting at home visiting with friends. Once the band joined in you quickly remember how he gained his fame including 7 songs that have hit number 1 on Billboard's country chart. They took requests for most of the night and furthered the feel of being home in your living room. He gives you this electric blanket on a big comfy couch feeling. It was a great experience.

Where to begin? Phil Vassar is one of the most energetic, crowd-pleasing, fan-oriented and just plain talented and fun performers you could ever hope to see live! We bought our tickets a few weeks before the event and were fortunate to secure fairly close seats, but it is obvious that the all seats in the cozy Sherman Theater are good. As it turns out, anyone in the crowd who wanted to stand up front were invited to do so right from the start of the show and were not in anyone's way. Phil feeds off the love of his fans (which was plentiful with all ages represented). He started right out with several of his plentiful hits that he either recorded himself or wrote for other artists, and sang his new song ("Don't Miss Your Life") and one he wrote for David Nail ("The Sound of a Million Dreams"). He also did quite a few sensational cover songs (including his remake of Huey Lewis' "Working for a Living"). His band members are amazing vocalists and musicians in their own right, each singing one or two songs while Phil again pleased his fans by interacting with them, shaking and touching their hands, taking pics with them from the stage, and signing any item they shoved at him! He even drank a shot of tequila that a fan handed to him. Phil excudes ridiculous amounts of energy from the moment he hits the stage, running around, jumping up on his piano and at one point even doing pushups on top of his piano! Phil covered almost all of his many hits (except for one of my favorites "American Child"), but included a medley of cover hits and ended with Billy Joel's "Piano Man". I would go to see Phil Vassar perform again and again and again! Can't wait until he comes back to the area!

My friend and I got pretty good seats. They were like 5th row, but during the first song, people started to move toward the stage. So we ran up there and got to be right by the stage. We were able to get autographs from Phil, and a few handshakes! It was so fun singing along with him and dancing to his awesome music!

Phil Vassar is a handsome and more energetic Billy Joel. His piano playing is superb...but it's his audience interaction, hook-laden songs and energy that combine to make a powerhouse concert event. I have been following Phil's career since his first single charted in 2000, and I have never been disappointed in the show he puts on. His band is also quite wonderful...and he leaves the stage for 10 minutes or so to allow them to showcase their talents. GO SEE PHIL if he comes your way!

The music content itself was great. Phil's Stage presence is electric. The only negative is that his show is way too short. It was only 90 minutes. Other piano artists like Elton John and Billy Joel play for 2.5+ hours and they are decades older than Vassar is.

I've seen Phil about 12 times and will see him another 12 times because he never disappoints me! He is so awesome in concert! Phil loves all his fans and it shows! The day started out with rain and about 20 minutes before Phil came on stage the sun came out! No wonder as Phil rocks!!!!! You do not know what you are missing if you have not seen him in concert!

We have seen Phil six times and enjoy every show we've been to. He and his band are great musicians and are always energetic on stage. The Indian Ranch at Webster Lake MA where the concert was held is a very well run and organized venue to see a concert.

The show was incredible. He is so entertaining and such a natural singer. The variety of song selection made the show. I would recommend Phil Vassar to anyway even you're not into country music. The venue was ok. The seats were really crammed in and skinny. I'm a bigger guy and was not comfortable. I even saw smaller people not fitting into their seats very well.

I've seen Phil Vassar at least 5 times and each time is fantastic. He puts on a great show and his voice is solid. There was no opener so it was a good 2 hours of Phil Vassar. The only downside to this concert was the ticket prices. Tickets were only $19 - $29 (before fees) - I wish they had been more so it would've weeded out at least some of the drunkards who obviously don't get out much. Like the sloppy girl who kept screaming "JOE AND ROSALITA". Might've also kept out some of the kids that had NO interest in being there.

Phil was great! Enjoyed the whole show. I had no idea he had written some of my favorite songs by Tim McGraw and Jo Dee Messina which he also performed. Great sing along songs too. I especially enjoyed up and coming Nashville singer, Lexie Hayden, who opened for him. Love her new song she wrote called Kiss and Tell. Bought her CD and love it.

I always love both Phil Vassar AND a show at the Birchmere, so having both together is amazing. Phil did not disappoint in spite of his recent double knee replacement surgery; he was his usual talented, witty, hilarious self. The service at the Birchmere is always great! I ve already bought tickets for another show!

Fowler Center - An Enjoyable Holiday Show. Phil is such prolific songwriter and entertainer. Kelly is such a personable sweetheart and a delight with a set of pipes that will radiate her notable hits. Together along with their band - they delivered!

This was my 4yr old daughter's 1st theater experience. She was so excited to see Phil and when he would go off the stage for Kellie to sing she would say where's Phil it was so cute. It was a great show and I'm surprised it wasn't a packed house but being on a Thursday night that's probably why. We can't wait for Phil to be in the area again so we can see him again. He sang my favorite song Carlene(that's actually my name spelled differently) and he sang my husband's favorite Just Another Day in Paradise. My daughter was waiting for him to sing Bobbi with an I but maybe next time. Kellie and Phil sounded great together and for them to end the show with a Dolly and Kenny song was great. Especially since Islands in the Stream is my favorite. It was a great night!

I thought the show was amazing. It was a nice balance of the two singing together and separate. Also I like how they sang Christmas songs and their big hits. Loved Islands in the Stream as the finale!!! Small venue-great for this type of show!
