Calgary Hitmen

One of the best sporting events you can attend in a year. The teddy bear toss has become an annual event for my six year old son and his best friend. The excitement of arriving at the Saddledome and waiting for that first goal is great and when the bears come raining down you've never experienced anything like it. This event is on our list for years to come. Excellent!

This is a super fun event, great for all ages. Make sure you bring a plastic bag for your stuffed animals , they cannot use them if they touch the ice because it will make them mouldy once wet. Grab your tickets early to get good seats , if you dont wanna get beamed in the head with bears sit at the top, if you wanna be able to throw your bear on the ice sit at the bottom opposite the side of the goalies nets.

We did not sit in our seats because the goal judge completely blocked our view. So much for second row. We had to sit way up top. Worst experience, if we had known we were going to be up front we wouldn't have gone to the game to begin with. Waste of time.

This was my first WHL game and I was very impressed with the talent of the players and the speed of the game. Like so many of the other development leagues the Hitmen go the extra mile to give people value for their money. Bottom line great hockey, great venue and great organization.

No problem getting into event or finding seats. It was fun even though my team lost.

Far too many drunk and obnoxious fans. The game was good even though the hitmen lost but the experience was ruined by un classy fans. During the singing of Oh Canada, several fans were shouting obscenities at the opposing team. Seriously not cool.

It's Hitmen Hockey. Hard to not enjoy it unless they lose.

Have adopted the Calgary Hitmen as my first hockey team as there is none in my home country. It was brilliant.

Going to a game between these two teams is something that every hockey fan should experience!

We had seats in the Red Zone. We thought our seats were probably temporary seats put up after the horrible flood of 2013 but the spirit of the hockey players deserves kudos. All players played to win. It was an exciting game. Both teams were competitive until the 2nd period and then the Hitmen took the lead. The plexiglass must meet the safety specs but when the players collided or were pushed into the glass there was a definite "wave".

Junior hockey is always great. The seats were awesome. The saddledome and stampede grounds were very clean and impressive. However the staff located where we paid for our parking told us to park in one place, another staff told us it was a better idea to go to another place. When we went there it was full. My wife is pregnant so we do enjoy expectant mother parking or family parking but they did not have any. The game was great and the inside of the arena was nice as well.

Two very good, Major Junior hockey teams playing at the Saddle-dome - it was a GREAT experience.

We had tons of fun at the Hitmen game. Only downside was $15 for parking and $25 dollars for two chicken strip meals and a drink. Other than that it was great!

Had a brilliant night, it was all action from start to finish and a good family atmosphere.

No seperate will call lines - stood in line for over 20 minutes with people purchasing tickets making us miss all but 2 minutes of first period!! Lots of better seating available, so I will NEVER buy online again.

We went for the annual Teddy Bear Toss game. The crowd was great & it was a good game even though the home team lost. Pretty nice facility. We were in town visiting from LA, and the people of Calgary were all super nice, we would love to go back again sometime.

Had a great time despite the fact it was so cold. Nothing anyone could have done about that. Would have been better had the Hitmen won but by the time the Pats scored the winning goal, I was praying for anyone to score. Did not want to sit through overtime.

The Hitmen lost but it was still a ton of fun! The Row 4 seats were a little too close to the ice and we couldn't see over the players but they moved us up after about 10 minutes and we could see great. It was a great atmosphere, great hockey and tons of excitement. Definitely planning to go again.

Most electric event I've been to! 15,000 crazed fans!

It was a great game at a great price. It was something that the whole family had fun at that didn't break the bank.

The Hitmen were great - what a fun way to experience arena ice hockey at a reasonable price. Talented players, exciting plays, and an overall terrific experience! It's too bad more people don't take advantage of these games - the only thing lacking was the energy of an arena full of fans, although they do get a pretty good turnout -- I guess it is hard to fill the Saddledome when the Flames are not playing...

this was my first Hitmen game and it was a lot of fun!

I am a Spokane Chiefs fan that regularly follows them to road games. Our trip to Calgary was great. The tickets were good and the game was awesome.

It was a great game made better by the seats. 3 row centre ice and for only 40 bucks. Can't beat that.
