Great Show this is 2nd time I've seen them in the Phoenix area
This show was awesome. You could close your eyes and swear it was the real deal. My only complaint is that they didn't play "Money" and it would have been fun to see some animal balloons. I'm sure that was because of the venue. All and all, I will definitely see them if they come to town again.

This show is not only a fabulous display of lights, animation and lasers, but the voices and instrumentation are thoroughly amazing. They've got Roger Waters' and David Gilmour's voices down and all the nuances included. The venue was really a complement to the sound, as well. It's a truly moving and entertaining experience. Once again, I can't wait til next year!

The best show I've seen in years. As a die-hard Pink Floyd Fan, it almost pains me to say that some of the songs they played were better than the originals. Truly phenomenal.

The sound was incredible. They played for nearly 3 hours! It was a unusual treat. Most bands only play for an hour and a half, if your lucky.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show, once again showed why it is the premier Pink Floyd tribute band. The band covered the breadth of Pink Floyd's catalog from "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn to "The Division Bell" with significant stops in Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. The staging, lighting and musicianship was first class as always and the band is able to handle even the most challenging David Gilmour guitar solo as well as the uniqueness of Roger Waters' voice to capture the iconic sound of The Wall. One disappointment, was the lack of the use of lasers and inflatables that had been used extensively in past shows. It is possible that their use was restricted at Seattle's McCaw Hall (Opera House). Overall, I would still highly recommend them for any Pink Floyd fan. Last night was the third time that I've seen them in the last three years and I will almost certainly go again when they return.

Absolutely amazing! I didn't know quite what to expect when I bought these tickets. I have been a Floyd fan since the band started but never had the opportunity to see them live, so I couldn't compare them to this show. That being said, I'd be hard pressed to imagine the original band being better than what I saw last night. It was that good! They played music from several of the group's albums and they nailed it with every song. The way the show was arranged was great and I didn't want it to end. The music was comfortably loud but not painful. I took my two sons, ages 19 and 17, and they were amazed and are now huge Pink Floyd fans. It doesn't get any better than sharing an event like this with your kids!

As a life long Pink Floyd fans, my wife and I were amazed and dazzled by how excellent a show these guys put on. The sound quality was outrageous, even down to the nuances of guitar tone, and the vocals. They opened with the first side of Dark Side of the Moon, going on to play the first side each of Wish You Were Here and Animals. After intermission, they did some cuts from A Momentary Lapse of Reason, Floy'd Last Album, and even some from Meddle, then finished off with a lot of material from The Wall. If we get another chance to see them, we will jump on it. It was that good! The light show was top notch. The visual animations were killer. The whole show was as professional as it could be. Also, seeing this show in the McCaw Center in Seattle had it's added benefits of perfect venue acoustics, excellent seating, and friendly staff.

Sept. 14 show at the Opera House (McCaw Hall) by Australian Pink Floyd was pretty amazing. The band had 5 musician in it (drummer, keyboardist, bass player & two lead guitarists) plus three backup vocalists. The band did most of the songs I wanted to hear such as Time, Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Welcome to the Machine, Wish You Were Here, Pigs, Sheep, the Happiest Time of our Lives, Another Brick in the Wall, Learning to Fly, One of These Days & many more. The two lead guitarists complimented one another very well though none had as good of a voice as David Gilmour. The videos and lighting accompaning the show was spectacular.

From the start with songs from Dark Side of the Moon to the end with songs from The Wall, this show exceeded my expectations. There were times I even forgot I that this was not the original band! I can not say enough about then energy and authenticity they gave in their performance. This was what I would call the Best of Pink Floyd and I loved the fact that they created a perfect environment which made you feel like you were back in the day and yet the music is timeless. The show went on for nearly 3hours with a short intermission. Something to say for that! I would definitely see this show again.

They are spot on in their rendition of classic Floyd songs. The stage show is spectacular and compliments the music as much (or more) than PF's own concerts. Don't miss it.

I had seen portions of this show on public television. I had seen PF once in concert back in '94 at BC Stadium. This was an incredible reproduction of the distinctive Pink Floyd sound and style. Outstanding playlist! Sound at McCaw hall was impeccable! If/when this group of musicians comes back to perform this show, I highly recommend people who enjoy the music of Pink Floyd see it- it is definitely worth the ticket price, and may be the only way for some of us to see a quality "Floyd" show, since PF may never tour again.

2:20 show one encore with a 10 minute intermission. A 'best of'' format with cuts from Dark side of the Moon, Wish you were here, and Animals making up the first set. Very good coordinated animation on a large circular screen behind the band. Very intimate setting with only about 2900 in the hall. Great acoustics and loud enough to rock but not overly modulated. The second set started with a nice mix of older stuff and acoustic tracks not normally heard on the airwaves. Finished up with cuts from The wall

I loved the concert. I've listened to the albums my whole life, but this is the first time I have heard the music live. Australian Pink Floyd nailed it! I didn't see any inflatables and wished I had. I was only out of the room for a couple minutes, so I don't think they slipped thempast me.

We saw the APF when they performed The Wall on the last tour and that was great. This last show was just OK. They seemed more polished and the music seemed more sterile. Also, the APF web site advertised more lasers and more inflatables on this tour. There were no lasers and no inflatable characters (perhaps this was a function of the McCaw Hall venue, but was disappointed in their absence).

I know it isn't Pink Floyd, but these guys are great musicians and also have a respect as a band that goes beyond a "tribute band". All the songs they played were excellent and they had a great stage presence. These guys and gals are the real deal and there playing and sound has been replicated to make sure the experience is Floyd. I have seen this band 4 times and saw Pink Floyd twice, sans Roger Water. I also saw Roger Waters three times so I am a big fan, these guys are better than good and deserve bigger crowds and now are getting better venues. The McCaw Hall was brilliant for acoustics and would see any band play there. They were limited with effects but the playing is what you are there for. They are all good musicians and great singers. Well worth the money.

Too bad the original band is no longer , but these guys have tapped into the creative minds of Pink Floyd I got 2 things from this show, I was lucky enough to see the original in 77 and still cant believe the power and musicianship that they held. After seeing the show last night they have created a show that taps into that power vocals and guitar work are amazing with the animation it is definitely worth the trip. there isn't a bad song in the show great show thanks guys and girls..

Admittedly, I'm not a drop-dead PF fan. I liked their stuff in the day but never went to see them so I can't speak to the authenticity of the recreation of their show. But I went to see what the buzz was about with the Aussie version. After checking out their web site, I saw that this was their "greatest hits tour." I would take that to mean, "songs you probably heard on the radio" of which, there were quite a few as I recall back in the day. But APF decided to fill almost the entire first set with the most monotonous of PF selections. Granted, that was their hallmark, but that's not a greatest hits tour and it's no way to grab your audience. Second, there was zero audience/band interaction. It was just like playing the record in your bedroom. By the time I left, there were but two to three songs played that would have qualified as one of their true hits. And the stage lighting was another detraction. Lots of lights - a fair number of them shining non-stop directly into the eyes of the audience. What's up with that? The band's technical expertise is excellent. But they need to do something more about connecting with their audience. Without the appropriate hallucinagenic, an long PF show just doesn't stand up to today's concert expectations. Perhaps they finally got to the actual hits after we left. But the monotony was apparently too great for many people based on the number of vacated seats and people heading for the doors as we left.

Saw them last year for The Wall tour, they were great then with a very theatrical show. This time, while not as theatrical, they played an awesome collection of tunes from just about every album. The sound couldn't have been better, perfect volume and clarity. Great venue. The Aussies played all Floyd tunes perfectly, THEY ROCKED! Overall, an awesome evening, I look forward to the next time they're in town.

Really great show - loved all of it, ears still ringing this morning. Those Boyz from Oz found a way to do what they love, and I sure hope the money is following them. It was such a great show, the lighting, the sound - SPOT ON! - and McCaw Hall in Seattle has the best acoustics! I was transported back to the 70's - I mean really, so many memories are wrapped up in those songs, all of them good!

From the first note to the last, I was in Pink Floyd Heaven. this was my second helping of the Aussie rendition of the great music I grew up with and I truly loved every minute of the show. Professional, note-perfect, Epic. This band IS Pink Floyd in so many ways. From the haunting guitar solos to the monstrous keyboards, they make the evening about the music and are understated about doing so. Absolute genius. I will never miss them when they come through, and I am so thankful that they do!

I have been to seen the both Australian Floyd and Brit Floyd in the last four months and my review is based on my own personal preference and I understand others may disagree. My own preference has to be Brit Floyd for share entertainment value. Don't get me wrong the Australian version is well worth seeing and well worth the money however it was far too clinical for my taste. They executed each song professionally and with a tight, and at times, flawless precision but lack emotion. They lacked the spontaneity and live entertainment quality of Brit Floyd. Little emotion put into each song and one could have easily been listening to the album being played live verbatum. Brit Floyd were a show. It had more excitement which was sadly missing from this show at Talking Stick Resort. The backup singers for Brit Floyd were far superior, tighter with a far more coordinated sound and a higher range. They were just better singers. In fact over all the girls of Brit Floyd were far superior counter parts from down under. BF had a better light show and projection. Australian Fly were unable to stamp their own individuality on the performance and there were little things they added to the overall performance and, having heard both bands, but Brit Floyd had added little "extras" to many of the songs to give a continued rolling effect and a fuller sound. This was particularly noticeable towards the end of "Comfortably Numb" where the guitar speeds up and into a rhythmic pattern of driving sound. to finish both bands were will worth watching and well worth going to see however for me, for the over all entertainment factor, Brit Floyd won the comfortably. Australian floyd play just over 90+ minutes and arrived 15 minutes late. Brit floyd palyed 3 hours and 15 minutes with a 20 minute break. Ozzie Floyd's Saxophonist was a lot of fun however !~! One little irksome point. When they both did "The lunatics are on the grass" piece they both showed only conservative politicians. No Liberal in politics are "lunatics". I can name many that are (please contact me for a list). The political stamp of a entertainer I suppose, but have to add doing this can only alienate you from many of the audience ! There is nothing to be gained. Just saying !~!

Australian Pink Floyd band has perfected the sounds of the original Pink Floyd band, and also have a group of extremely talented musicians/vocalists . I have seen them three times and they always nail it. First time at the Venue, but loved the acoustics and the atmosphere. Cons: Shirt sales were cash only, and the concessions menu had wine on it but didn't have any! Then the concessions were cash only shortly after show started.

As a longtime fan of Pink Floyd i was pleasantly surprised at just how faithful the Aussie version was to the original. The entire presentation from musicians, singers, backup singers to the set, lighting and video work was stunning to say the least. Seeing it all in the smaller setting of the Tilles Center versus a stadium or large theater was the icing on the cake. Thank you to everyone involved in the Australian Pink Floyd for taking me back and giving me goose bumps in the process. I highly recommend them if they are playing in or near your town, as you won't be disappointed. Not just g'day but great day mate!

Epic show! A lot better at the smaller venue as opposed to outdoors (DTE),nice to see them instead of watching on a screen. Something wasn't working for me. Their energy on stage was low, their vibe.... I don't know, it doesn't look like they enjoy what they're doing. We purchased the VIP Experience tickets. Upon arrival we waited about a half hour to be taken up to the roof top. There, we were given a tote bag with a large postcard of the band and some band buttons. We waited as they allowed 4 people in at a time. I asked the attendant what to expect once we got in, and he said he wasn't allowed to tell me. I felt once they let us in, it was a bit awkward because we were just standing there. The band was sitting a a banquet table. After I realized that it was up to me to do something, I just walked over and introduced myself. The band was very friendly and polite. I even had a chance to talk to a few of the members about their experience with encounters with original band members of Pink Floyd. The female vocalists were very sweet. The performance was flawless and very entertaining. I would definitely make the same purchase again.

Went to see TAPFS whilst on Holiday in Orlando at the Hard Rock Venue. This was the fifth show we had seen. Always different to the previous one. The big difference was the audience. An American audience is more vocal through the show, but a British audience is quiet but just as appreciative at the end of a song. Show lasted over 2 hours including the break.

These guys (and gals) were good - music all sounded EXACTLY like the original Pink Floyd songs - voices not so much, but they weren't bad. There was literally no interaction with the audience until they said goodnight. No "Hi Nashville! Glad to be here! How's everyone doing tonite in this beautiful venue?" or any interaction between songs, either. It made me, as an audience member feel a little disconnected and as if they weren't really thrilled with being there. The laser lights were cool and the screen behind the stage showed interesting and cool images. I only wish they had tried to engage with the audience.

This is like seeing PF in their prime. These artists are every bit as talented and young enough to make every song sound great. The music was dead on and the light show is spectacular. This was our first time at the Amphitheater at Fontanel. It's a great venue, plenty of parking, easy to get in and out, nice seating, and we loved having the food trucks there.

This was my first Aussie Floyd concert. I miss their one in Portsmouth Va last Aug due to illness but my family went and loved it! Managed to catch this one and it was FANTASTIC! We had 10 family members with ages ranging from 9 to 73 (me) and we all loved it. The covered outdoor venue by the water was super and the show rocked the house! Enjoyed it so much I've booked tickets for their Portsmouth England show in Oct while I visit friends there!!!!!

The Australian Pink Floyd Show Portsmouth Pavilion August 14, 2016 7:30 pm On a sultry warm evening on the Portsmouth waterfront, Jason Sawford plays the familiar synthesizer washes that begin Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I V), as guitarist Steve Mac starts crafting David Gilmour's unmistakable lead guitar lines. Center stage, a circular projection screen, reminiscent of one that Floyd and later David himself used on tour, showed animations, slides and live footage as the song progresses, note perfect. Usually found in garages and bars, rarely do cover bands get to play large concert venues, let alone headline. The few exceptions are generally Beatles/Pink Floyd/Led Zeppelin/Genesis tributes, which require not only a fair amount of musical talent, but often very sophisticated lighting rigs and projection screens needed to complete the experience. Hardly a cheap easy way to make a living, but when well done, a wonderful time travel experience for the audience. Since 1988, the Australian Pink Floyd Show has sold over four million tickets while playing in 35 countries. The band's bio notes that In September 1994, Gilmour himself visited the band backstage after a show in Croydon, pointing out that he d never had the chance to see Pink Floyd perform. He was very complimentary, posed for pictures and invited the band to perform at Pink Floyd s party to mark the end of their Division Bell tour. Due to curfew restraints at the venue, this plan fell through but, when the phone rang not long after, the band found themselves asked to perform a handpicked set at an event marking Gilmour s 50th birthday. It should be noted that Pink Floyd's music is uniquely suited to being played as a form of progressive rock chamber music, especially as guitarist David Gilmour's distinctive parts, right down to the solos themselves, are worked out almost as compositions within the songs and played much the same every night, with virtually no improvisation. That is not to say that there isn't passion and interpretation in the playing, but that the majority of the notes themselves are exactly what Gilmour played originally. As the song moves along, the rest of the APF comes onstage: Colin Wilson (bass, vocals), Paul Bonney (drums), David Domminney Fowler (guitar, vocals), Chris Barnes (vocals), Ricky Howard (bass, vocals), Lara Smiles, Emily Lynn and Lorelei McBroom (backing vocals), and finally, dapper in a suit and hat, Mike Kidson (saxophones). The anthemic ode to acid casualty and Pink Floyd founding guitarist Syd Barrett continues to unwind, playing a wonderful trick in one's mind if you close your eyes, as you can easily imagine you are in a concert hall back in 1975... ...or is it 1973? as the chimes and ringing bells that begin Dark Side Of The Moon's Time clang into the dusk. The poignant lyrics: "And then one day you find ten years have got behind you," followed by "The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death," have a powerfully different meaning when one is close to 60 years old than they did back in the day. A quick trip to 1987 for A Momentary Lapse of Reason's 1st single On the Turning Away then it was back to 1975 for the wistful Wish You Were Here, which featured double acoustic guitars and the evening's 1st sighting of the breathtaking green lasers. Another paean to Barrett, with reflections of the now successful post DSOTM band's world vs the old days: "so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell," in a pseudo paradise with "the same old fears." Aussie Floyd's playing of the majority of the 2nd side of the DSOTM album began with a superb rendition of the delicate Us and Them, followed by the leslie guitar and synthesizer duet Any Colour You Like, then into the melancholy Brain Damage (complete with less than flattering images of recent Brexit political figures and other lunatics on the screen), then climaxing with Eclipse. Another Brick in the Wall (Part II), with its unforgettable "We don't need no education" children's chant and giant inflated pink kangaroo closed the set. A stirringly strong version of Pigs (Three Different Ones) from the 1976 Animals album opened the 2nd set, with animations of Bush, Blair, Murdoch, et al shown with pig noses flashing across the screen. Mac's performance of Gilmour's guitar and talk box effect solo was particularly noteworthy, with the song itself a highlight among many on the evening. A powerful rendition of Momentary Lapse of Reason's 2nd single, Learning To Fly, followed, visually featuring the green lasers over deep purple lighting that reminded one of the ubiquitous blacklights of the 60s and 70s. This album came only 4 years after the regrettable swan song of The Final Cut, easily out selling it by millions of copies, and this song particularly marked the emergence of the post Roger Waters Pink Floyd. It was most impressive to hear APF effortlessly cover this version of the band, along with On the Turning Away, as this sound was a bit different than the older 70s pieces, although still featuring Gilmour's unmistakable playing. Two philosophic songs follow-to 1980, for The Wall's Hey You ("United we stand, divided we fall"), and then back to 1994 again for the somewhat bluesy (and bitchy) What Do You Want From Me? from The Division Bell-in which Gilmour asks the fans "Should I sing until I can't sing anymore?" "Play these strings until my fingers are raw." "You're so hard to please-what do you want from me?" and finally "Do you think that I know something you don't know?" Next, all three female singers shone brightly on DSOTM's The Great Gig in the Sky, their voices triumphantly echoing out into the night sky. A strong version of Sorrow from Momentary Lapse featured both guitarists at the top of their game as they managed to play what often took 4 players on the actual PF tour. The bouncy One Of These Days from Meddle featured the return of the giant inflated pink kangaroo and some spirited lap steel guitar slide playing from Mac, as well as the delightful growled "One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces" vocal. This song was the encore for the DSOTM tour, but even better things were yet to come on this night. The show concluded with the classic Comfortably Numb and Run Like Hell from The Wall. Both guitarists, but especially Fowler, accurately and adroitly performed the intricate signature Gilmour guitar solo that defines the former, while the echoey guitars and unique vocals of the latter had the crowd up on its feet, many dancing and singing along, before going off into the still steamy night. A wonderful trip back to the 70s and 80s, with a perfectly played soundtrack to lead the way.

The music and show was excellent. The Palace Theater is a wonderful venue to see a show. Attendants were very helpful with finding seats. Band was tight and they seemed to enjoy the night as well. The problem we had, as did many of the people we spoke with, was the constant loud whistling and yelling, mostly from seemingly intoxicated males, without much age differentiation. There were times (we were close enough to see) when these noises bothered the band members as well. The actions witnessed may be appropriate for a Molly Hatchet type show but not the music of Pink Floyd.

This is the second time I've seen TAPFS, and they were excellent both times. For younger fans who never got a chance to see Floyd, this is the next best thing. The light show was amazing, the playing was dead solid perfect, and McCaw Hall may be the best place in Seattle to see a show. Why did I not give it 5 stars? The same reason as a lot of shows I go to, and I've been to a lot. It was too friggin loud! I know, it's Pink Floyd, but good God, it was so loud I could hardly stand it. It's hard to take my wife to any shows anymore because every venue insists on blasting you out of the place and she can't take it, hell, I can hardly take it. But that's my only knock on this show. If I could make out a setlist for a PF show, it would mirror the one they played at this show. Deep cuts, more popular tracks, I loved every song. The last time I saw them they had an inflatable pig, but they must have run afoul of PF because now they have an inflatable kangaroo. It's all good! If you are a Floyd fan, you will be very happy you went.

The production was over the top. The band sounds as good as the original and the performance was meticulous. You will see balloon creatures, amazing synchronized video, and a awesome laser light show. What more could one ask? Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd the same evening under beautiful skies in the amazing Jones Beach venue! Led Zeppelin 2 did a good job esp the lead singer, who sounded uncannily like Plant. The Australian Pink Floyd show were superb as always and thoroughly professional. Their performance of 'Comfortably numb' was out of this world....definitely a must see.

Good show in a great venue. If you're a fan of Pink Floyd then attending the Aussie tribute band is a must. Music was tight and the light show and other graphics were outstanding. Maybe the show was a little bit too tight.Would have liked more artist, audience interaction. There just wasn't that kind of connection. Something I take for granted from years of attending thousands of concerts. Otherwise,it was a good show and a treat to hear all those PF tunes that we won't be hearing from Gilmour and company anymore. If you missed them this time, definitely make a point to see them when they are in the area. It was fun and for some folks a nice trip down memory lane.

So glad I grabbed a last minute ticket to this show. I somehow missed seeing them on the concert list and was so glad a friend told me about the show. TAPFS was extremely authentic and the laser light show and graphics they put on during their performance was mesmerizing, totally sucks you deeper into the music. I am hoping they come back to the area again because I'd love to see them with a better seat!

Very well done. My critical review though... A few years ago they had a blistering guitar solo during "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun". This year they didn't do it, & got a ho-hum response. My only other disappointment was the "Comfortably Numb" guitar solo - it just didn't relay a lot of energy. Other than those minor issues, it was a really good show, & I can't wait to see them again!

I was kind of reluctant to see this concert as Pink Floyd was the last band my wife and I had seen (yes that was a few years ago). However the music is something that we and our kids enjoy even today. WOW!!! The show was terrific!!! Such a great job - my wife and I found ourselves dancing in the isles. We all had one memory that we will never forget. If you know the words to Comfortably Numb then this is a MUST SEE!

Though some members are gone their music goes on; an original mix of genres, Rock 'n Roll... taken to the next level by Pink Floyd. In my mind the earliest new-wave with the folk style of story-telling... It would be easier to say what Pink Floyd isn't....

Whether you attended a real Pink Floyd show in the 1970s or are too young and don't know what the fuss was about, this is feast for the eyes and ears and a pretty good way to experience one of rock music's legendary bands. My wife - who is only familiar with a few songs and not a Floyd lover - was mesmerized by the show Aussie Floyd put on. My only criticism was the sound and don't know if it was the fault of concert hall accoustics or the band's equipment / mix. Vocals were not clear and guitar solos were too muffled or distorted at times. Bass was aksi mixed too loud (Waters bass was never that prominent in real Floyd mixes). I'm all for loud, but make sure the sound mix is good for the venue being played. If it was an outdoor stadium or huge arena, I would have forgiven this. I also felt the song selection could have been better, but how do you decide which songs to play from such a rich and diverse catalog? I'm sure band members need to play different songs as well to keep their interest going and the show fresh.

I bought thees tickets for the Australian Pink Floyd Show, after watching their broadcast concert on PBS. I had high expectations for this concert, and I was not disappointed. This band has mastered the "tribute" sound of Pink Floyd. If I closed my eyes and listened to the music only, I would not be able to tell the difference between this awesome band and the real Pink Floyd. If you are a Pink Floyd Fan, then don't miss the opportunity to see and hear this band perform. It is worth every cent!

Superb show!! Yes it would make Pink Floyd proud!! Highly recommend Aussie Pink Floyd. The age of the people attending was from mid teens to those who needed walkers. Funny to see that at a concert but then again Floyd is timeless. The venue is not bad at all, first time there for me.

What an amazing night. The Australian Pink Floyd Show is absolutely the most amazing tribute band I have ever seen! They played for 2 1/2 hours and went thru the very best of the amazing Pink Floyd library - every song was dead-on note for note and the light show was spectacular. I have been a die-hard fan of all things Pink Floyd for almost 30 years now and I would recommend seeing this show to any Pink Floyd fan at your earliest convenience. Yes, it's not the real Pink Floyd, but most likely the closest you'll ever get anymore. Trust me - the music is in safe hands, you won't be disappointed.

The members of Pink Floyd are also impressed with this band from Australia... They have the show down to perfection... Sounds like the albums. Looks like you're back in time watching a Pink Floyd show...I saw them in 2006.. Still as great as ever... Then venue was different being indoors.(Nokia Theater) I think I like the outdoor setting a little better ( The Greek) but that has nothing to do with the performance and the amazing musicians and singers...Fantastic show....

As though placed in a savory marinade, the audience (from the uninitiated & wary who seemed often paired with the most seasoned and crisply rehearsed Pink Floyd connoisseur) comfortably yield to the mesmerizing transformation from cautious optimism to incredulous awe at being magically immersed in a genuine Pink Floyd concert experience. As each spellbinding wave of a brilliantly tuned Pink Floyd repertoire is teasingly revealed at each album selection by the band's marquee kangaroo, the Australian Pink Floyd Show artists respond with equal brilliance, delivering a relentless tsunami of precisely honed Pink Floyd renditions. While the opening numbers from Dark Side of the Moon instantly set the tone for a truly memorable event, it was the perfect renditions from The Division Bell right after intermission and the astonishing parity achieved throughout numerous crowd pleasing cuts from The Wall, that assured a long and resounding encore by an audience standing in a welcome marinade of shock and awe. Whether an aficionado, or wondering which one s Pink, see this show now\u2026before pigs no longer fly.

It sure would have been nice to see the Floyd in their day live, in concert. But until we can get that time machine working, this is the best we have today. And it's very good. As a Pink Floyd fan and rock musician myself, I can say that technically these blokes were spot-on. They nailed every solo - from the bass on Hey You, to the drum and guitar solos on Time, to the vocals on The Great Gig in the Sky. The video backdrop was an interesting and engaging mix of Aussie-induced visuals with period visuals, and the animations found a balance between what was possible in the 80s vs our minimal expectations for 3-D rendering today in the Pixar era. The lighting and laser show felt limited by the stage space of the State Theatre, but it worked very well and I enjoyed it, especially the finale surprise. I had expected some actual inflatables, but there were none in this show (again, perhaps a space/venue limitation?). I appreciated not being overwhelmed by sheer volume, and didn't feel a need to use earplugs to protect my hearing (unlike at, say First Ave), allowing me to enjoy all the nuances of the sound. I was pleased with the selection of songs. I'd say this is as about as good as it could get.

This was the second time i have seen the Australian Pink Floyd in concert. They prove time and again in their skill to perform Various Pink Floyd Selection and Album. I am a hard core Pink Floyd fan and it may be biased but if you enjoy Progressive/ Psychedelic Jazz Rock then this is for you. The famous Pink Floyd songs never wear out but I wish they would play something from "Atom Heart Mother" album like "Atom Heart Mother Suite". I guess I would say that I would have loved to hear / see other songs like "When the Tigers Broke Free" so on and so forth. Regardless Pink Floyd music LIVE is incredible and beats the hell out of listening to it on cd, tape or whatever you have it on. I will continue to buy tickets to their showcase and I know I will enjoy and leave with large amounts of euphoria each time. If I Could Rate It Personally It Would Be 6 over 5
