Annie was amazing!!! I was amazed at how these little girls led the cast in opening the show and they were incredible!!! The whole show was super fun, heartwarming, and full of talent. I loved every bit of it!!

It's wonderful to see so many amazingly talented kids on stage. It's also refreshing to see so many young kids in the audience. What a great thing to introduce children to theater at very young ages and this is the perfect show to take them to.

Eight of us attended Annie and we all thoroughly enjoyed the show! The voices of all cast members were clear and beautiful. We were especially impressed with the children and the professional poise they showed. We recommend it for all ages. Bravo!

It was what I remembered. Wish one of the little girls did not have short curly hair. That should be for Annie only! I thought it could of been 20min shorter.

I took my 11 year old granddaugter to see Annie as a birthday present and we both had a wonderful time. The cast is amazing and it's hard to believe that these young girls had such clear and strong voices and the rest of the cast was incredible. I have seen Annie several times and this was absolutely the BEST! I hope the cast will be able to read this review and know how much we loved it!

This was my 6 year old daughter's first musical in the theater and she enjoyed it. The length of the show was not too long. She did not get bored or restless. Overall a good first experience and she is looking forward to the next theater outing.

It's no wonder this musical has endured for so many years! It's what Broadway was meant to be\u2026\u2026.. an unbeatable cast with talent unlimited, a touching story line, sets to impress, and the wonderful "Tomorrow" theme. (Having said that, I question the use of "damn" & "hell" in the dialogue since the audience contained so many young children.)

My 2 girlfriends and I have gone to see a play every year for the last 10 years. This year we decided to go see Annie. We were not disappointed. All three of us left singing the songs and all agreed it was one of our favorites. The singing won't blow you away like other popular plays but I promise you will enjoy this play as much as we did.

Everyone in our family loved the show. The actors did an amazing job. This show was Broadway caliber right in Chicago. The sets were beautifully done. My kids have been singing the songs from the show for the last 3 days.

We took our children to see Annie and it was terrific. They loved it and we loved it all over again. It was enjoyable throughout. The actress who played Ms Hannigan was outstanding. She had Great timing, moves and a beautiful voice. The only thing we discussed afterwards were Annies dark roots and the wig was not as good as we remembered - too fake looking.

Aspects of the production were very good, however, the overall effect was lackluster. The theater protocols for allowing people to find their seats after the show began was continuous and very distracting. A number of talking/crying children at this evening performance contributed to a disappointing experience.

The performers were each very talented, Annie's voice was amazing and she was very charismatic. Mollie was also great. All others were good too. The overall presentation was a bit disappointing, while it did follow the story line, it left quite a bit to the imagination - or to needing to have seen a previous version to understand the transformation that Mr. Warbucks goes through after Annie joins his live. All in all, it was very enjoyable, but did not "WOW" me.

Every voice was great. The singing, the acting and the dancing couldn't have been better. The sets!!! You felt like you were right there in NYC or in Warbucks's mansion. And, you could understand every word. I had a 4-year old with me and she was glued!

The six of us enjoyed Annie. And by the number of little girls in red dresses, it was a hit! The singing was superb, the actors fantastic, and the music - well, if you leave the theatre at the end and you are humming one of the tunes, then that says it all!

My granddaughter and I enjoyed the performance very muc.h. We have seen the video/ movie Annie a number of times so we know the story well. We both commented on the actors wonderful voices which were strong and clear. We were so very happy we selected Annie for our Christmas outing this year.

My six year old grandaughter and I thought the play was amazing! She sang along with all the songs. She did miss the bridge scene and thought Punjab should have been in the play. We liked all the characters, including Sandy! Well worth seeing!

Always a favorite with my kids when they were little; still a hit now that they're teenagers! The music is amazing and the children cast perfectly. Was wishing Miss Hannigan and Lily St. Claire were a little more animated but the show was great.

I had seen Annie when I was a young girl with my mother and grandmother. I was fortunate enough to be able to experience this play again with them both, as well as share this with my daughter and niece. That alone was a great experience. But goodness, the play--it was INCREDIBLE! The differing storyline (from the movie), the acting, the singing and choreography. I highly, highly recommend this to play to everyone. It was an unforgettable experience.

Tickets to Annie were a gift for our 7-year-old granddaughter, and it proved to be the perfect choice. She was enchanted by the play and the musical numbers (she hasn't stopped singing "Tomorrow" since!) Casting and production of the show were excellent ... as we would expect for a Broadway in Chicago presentation.

I had the best time taking my 7 year old son to the show I loved as a kid. It was just as I had hoped. All of the performers were great; I particularly enjoyed Molly. It is worth reminding little ones that the musical is different from the movie. My son was a bit distracted by some of the differences (some songs that are unique to the musical, scenes being a different order).

It had been 34 years since I first experienced Annie on stage at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago when I was a young adult. I found this production quite enjoyable and full of the charm that I remembered from the first time. The voices were good and the look of the stage was appealing. I was so impressed at how well behaved the youngsters in the audience were--they were mesmerized at what was happening in front of them. I am so glad I attended this production at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.

I have been to a lot of musicals and I would say that this was the best one I have ever been too. The cast did fantastic and were so funny! The little girls were all so adorable and did such a great job! I was smiling through the whole production. I would certainly go to this one again!

I saw Annie previously in the 90's with Nell Carter as Ms. Hannigan, the performance was outstanding. This performance was just flat, there was no real pizzazz, or any particular musical number that stood out.

As this is the 3rd play we've seen at the Cadillac Palace, Annie did not disappoint! It was a fun time with an awesome story and great actors! Add in Sandy the dog and how can you go wrong? Laughter and tears achieved. We took my family of 5 plus my in-laws as an early Christmas gift as Annie was a family favorite in my wife's family household as a kid. Again, just a great time!

Everyone did a great job. The production was really well done. We just realized we don't care for children's show. We aren't a big fan of the children actresses - they just lack the "punch" you get from the adults. Additionally, having grown up with the movie version of Annie, a live production doesn't have much of a chance to compete, especially when scenes in the movie and the stage production vary. We also plan to never attend a show that will be so highly attended by children. That was hard to tolerate. We thought we were getting an afternoon away. Not so. We even had a kid in the row in front of us crying. Really? For $200, I'm not paying to listen to a kid cry. This may all sound harsh, but it's our opinions. We'll skip the children's performances from now on.

I love Annie, always have. While the set design was wonderful, the actual production didn't live up to the standards or the pricing of the event. The performances were safe/solid but no real wow-factor. I found it annoying that at the end when the orphans come to the mansion they are introduced as "kids, this is Mr. Daddy Warbucks - and these are the kids." No names? Felt like they were really shafted in this scene. Annie is definitely a family show, and to price it this high is pretty rough. We paid for Wicked and Mary Poppins to take our children, and that was money well spent for phenomenal shows. My kids are really looking forward to seeing the upcoming Annie in theaters, because the show we watched Saturday night was a bit less than they hoped for.

Except that the girl who played Annie was an amazing singer it was overall just ok. Without "Tomorrow" it would have been mediocre. The decades old plot is too Cinderellaesque. Annie's red wig and costume felt too old and tacky. They could use some modernization.

Fantastic... every single aspect of the play was fantastic! The little girl that played Annie was amazing... what a voice! Everyone on the cast had an amazing voice. I saw the show 34 years ago and fell in love with it... this show took me right back to being an 8 year old and falling in love with it again. Amazing... just plain amazing!

I bought these tickets for me and my 9 yo daughter. Tickets were typical price (expensive). I see musicals all the time. I felt like the show was just average. The character of Annie did not wow me, but the other girls were very good.
