Absolutely solid. Saw it twice: once in SF and once in LA. Then they performed a private DJ set at the brand spanking new W Hollywood... Clearly it was a great week for me and for the sounds of Groove Armada!

I am simply speechless how well Groove Armada's performance was last night at the Music Box on Hollywood Blvd. Would I go to their concert again? Hell, yeaaa : ) I have been craving for some good music and vibe for soooo long since I moved to LA from Europe, this was the peak night of my passed 8 months. Thank you Groove Armada to be so unique and create music of such a high quality.

The Groove Armada show was amazing, I think amazing would be an understatement. There was not a moment were I stopped dancing. These guys are geniuses and SaintSaviour is a goddess that only made the show like 1000X better. Forever will remember this night. This concert has been engraved in my memory!

The live GA experience blew the doors off Coachella in 2005. i was hoping for some more of that, and so was the sold-out crowd, who was aching to dance all night but only occasionally had their wishes granted. I like all of GAs material, but in a live setting it felt stillborn, or already dated...not sure why. Sorry it wasn't more explosive.

Incredible, incredible sound and lightshow, BUT the playing of two or three classics doesn't overcome the fact that they played close to the entirety of their new album... and their new album just isn't that good.

last time I saw Groove Armada was at LoveEvolution last October, and it was more of a dj set and very danceable. I bought this ticket before I knew the band was going in a different direction, i found the new stuff fairly slow and not really what I wanted out of the show. The musicianship was fine, but anyone who wanted a high energy dance show was sadly disappointed. The few dance numbers they played were fantastic, but too few and far between. I would not have spent the money or driven 90 minutes each way if I knew this was the type of show I was getting for my time and dollars. I wish the band the best, but this night was not for me.

Excellent performance; a little short and I wish they would have played more songs from their older albums.

Groove Armada is an electronic music stable, but they aren't just the same ol same ol as any "stable" might be. They throw in really cool effects in their performance and twinkly tweeks into their music that I love. Their beat is so Groove Armada though and it's really great. That's how I discovered them at Burning Man in the bouncy room because everyone was rocking to their music causing the blow up furniture to bounce simultaneously. I really like how they mix up the singers. It creates a nice gemini effect that is used to their advantage. They are one of my top favorite bands. I can listen to them non-stop which is a huge compliment. Thanks, Mojo

I was REALLY excited to get to Groove Armada and dance!! I am a big fan of their hip hoppy, house-y, blues-y, breaky, reggae beats. So I found their indy/emo sets with the lady gaga/pink hydrid lead singer extremely disappointing. However, whenever the male singer came on stage (regretfully I don't know his name) it was ELECTRIC!!! The whole dance floor exploded!! It made the event worth while. Then the female lead would come back out again and everyone would find an excuse to go to the bathroom, get a drink, have a smoke, etc. It didn't help that she addressed the crowd as Los Angeles when she came on stage, either.

The band was unbelievable!!!! I've never seen them live before, and they were awesome!!! The energy was incredible throughout the concert!!! They played a lot of my favorite songs and introduced a couple from the new album that i can't wait to get!!! The place was also amazing!!! The Fillmore really is the coolest venue I've ever been to... If you have a chance, see the band live!!! They're even better than their records. And check out another concert at the Fillmore if u havent

...I was hoping to hear some of the great dance songs they have like "Love Sweet Sound" or "I See You Baby" or "See What You Get" but they basically sounded like a rock band playing dance songs. I understand they have a new record but give us some of the stuff we love! The show was good but it could have been great!

Great show with a great mix of old and new songs from the band. Webster Hall was an awesome venue to see Groove Armada. Lucky to see them in a smaller place as opposed to a festival. Come back to the U.S. soon!!

They were playing a lot of material off the new album, which is stellar, but the crowd wasn't too familiar with it. Brought the house down with the encore of SuperStylin

I've seen Groove Armada twice before this show and had a blast. I was looking forward to their classic grooves and soulful vibes. I wasn't taken with their new album that resonates 80's pop rock. And spent most of the night holding out for their older music. Eventually their more popular tunes of the past, but they were muted by this same pop sound. I never got my groove on this Armada tour. Phooey!

I saw these guys in London some 5 years ago, and the show was the two of them behind pick-ups and a rotating group of singers. Now they added instruments, drums, bass, guitar. They sound amazing! They had only two singers (visa issues, maybe?). Great live versions for some of the old classics. The new stuff sounds so good I may wanna buy the CD. Great concert.

Great show, great venue and great times. I love the new album and how they mashed older songs with newer songs. Every time I see a live set from GA I am blown away, hence Avalon years back was great too.

I have to pinch myself it was that good! Groove Armada was fantastic! The venue was intimate so seeing tne band close up was not a problem. Accoustics were phenomenal and the lazer show was sick!!!!! The crowd was way cool and very Hollywood - no little kids running around - just cool cats...totally unforgettable.

Great time! Great venue! Great Show! A real "performance". One issue was the house music was interfering with the DJ... he was great though. Just wish the ushers could have kept the rude people out of the isles so we could have seen the show we paid for.

Groove Armada put on an amazing audio/visual show on Thursday night! Great crowd and setlist. You know everyone is dancing their assess off at the Fillmore when you can feel the floor bounce up and down! Only wish is that they played a little longer. Vocalists were excellent!

Was very disappointed with the concert at the Fonda Theater last night. My own fault really: I should have listened to the new album before going. It sounds like a completely different band now. The Lady-Gaga-esque SaintSaviour was great for one song and then quickly became very boring. It's definitely a case of style over substance. I'm sure they will make more money now (sure worked for the Black Eyed Peas), but I think they've sacrificed something. The crowd were going nuts at the front and lots of hopped-up kids who seemed up for anything with a beat. The overall sound and background music was very good in some places, but by the time Fenech Soler came out again (after an insipid opening set--again, good for one song and then they all start sounding the same) I was ready to leave. It looks like the UK's re-visiting the whole 80s Nu-Romantic shtick. Been there once, not going through it again. Can we skip to re-visiting the 90s if we're going to regress?? Fonda Theater was nice, staff pretty rude though, easy to get to by Metro. Great sound system. Sorry if I sound grouchy about it, but I used to love GA and yesterday was a huge disappointment...

They covered their new "Black Light" album start to finish...should have been just a few and then to the music we were there for. Felt like new lead singer has highjacked GA to the point where the name of the band should be "Chick in Shiny Gold Suit and Groove Armada". And the new stuff ain't that good, either. She has good voice but BORING...

Groove Armada put on a GREAT show! I go to a lot of gigs and this one was one of the best I have seen in a long time. The music was tight and the energy electric. I would HIGHLY recommend seeing them to anyone, a long time fan or someone who is totally unfamiliar with their music. They throw down!

Most dissappointing show I've been to in years. At least I was warned by them during the show that they were going to play the whole new album, but could you at least give us the classics for real as well? Instead, they were played around and teased. The 30 second medley of the hits right at the start was the best part of the show. Went quickly downhill from there sadly.
