Great time ....great music to remember . Excellent interaction from the singers with audience. Highly recommended , even though before the show I had never heard of the group being from Brazil.

This was the first time my wife and I had seen The Lettermen in person although we both had enjoyed their music for "decades". They were great, they were funny (at times) and serious at other times. They also performed solos which was nice to to hear and gave the other two members of the group a little break in the action. Their band was very good and all in all I can say we totally enjoyed the experience.

The Letterman never disappoint! Their show on Saturday at the Saban Theater was fantastic! Their songs, their personalities, their energy and their love for their fans, made it a great evening ! A lot of audience interaction. Super great that they sign autographs and take pictures in the lobby until everyone has had a turn.

The Letterman were great and the music was nice. The Association's amps were set too loud and were blasting the audience. Otherwise, it was a great concert.

Had a great time. Knew all the songs and sang along with everyone else. Was not sure at first if I would like the snow, but was glad I went . Wasn't any drunks or loud kids you run into at a lot of concerts.

The Association was great; played their best songs, didn't screw around. Reminisced a little but not over the top. The Lettermen were terrible. Has degenerated into a lounge act. Too much talking, joking, and clowning around with the audience. Seemed like a comedy act at times. They finally sang a couple of their better songs as we were walking out after about 90 minutes. Would have preferred to see The Association for 2 hrs and the Lettermen for 30 minutes.

I am 51years old and some of my first musical memories were of Letterman songs. My Mother sang Put Your Head On My Shoulder to us kids and rocked us when we were tired or sick and it was always a comforting song to my brother, sister and I. It also is a soothing reminder of how loving and precious our Mother is. My sister and I took our 71 year old Mom to the Letterman concert at Fraze and we both teared up when that song played. That concert will always ring out to me, not only as one of the best concerts I have ever seen, but as a very wonderful memory of a warm beautiful Friday night that I spent with my Mom and Sister.

It was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. We sang all of the songs with the group and the quality of they voices were prefect. I also enjoyed the banter with the people. This trio will last forever if they want too. I will come to the show the next time they are in town. I we a little confused with the Association, they were good but not the quality of the letterman. I wish the letterman would join with a different group.

For a "mature" crowd, The Association and The Lettermen were a dream team. Everyone in the audience grooved to the tunes of our teens. Unfortunately The Association, while energetic and enjoyable, just didn't have the sound of years gone by. Their performance was fun but clearly overshadowed by the harmonies of The Lettermen. Snuggling music of the 50s and 60s still warmed their voices; their solos fresh; their blends gorgeous. Experienced showmen, they still know how to please their audiences with pitch, nuance, and charisma.

Having never seen the Lettermen and the Association in person we really had nothing to relate to regarding this performance. We of course remembered them as a very important part of the 60's and 70's music era when we were in high school and college. The experience of the two groups together in back-to-back concerts was superior. The most immediate view I realized was how professional they both were in terms of performance, relationship with the audience and overall presentation. Selection of the song lists was excellent. And that brings us to the second point...both had such a long list of hits that one forgets as we age. What a wonderful blend of great music and finely honed singing performances. Both groups had the "softer tones and laid-back" music of the 60's and 70's, not the loud and jarring electronics affiliated with Woodstock! Certainly a "stress-relief" experience, a return to a "simpler lifestyle", and a most pleasant way to spend a great evening. The end came too soon! We would be first in line to purchase tickets if offered again. A last note about the Faze Pavilion in Kettering, OH. Just as a member of the beach Boys said last week...the FAZE is the right size and the just right feel for having fun! The environment, from the entrance to the performance area is very relaxing. The ticket holders are very well behaved and very outgoing individuals. It is very difficult not to know the person sitting beside you by the end of any performance. And it all happens due to the setting, the cultural environment, the program planning and the marvelous FRAZE staff.

I started to listen to "Oldies" in my uncles garage in 1992 when I was working for him, and I've been hooked ever since. He's since died and this concert brought me back to a time when he and I were alone just chewing the fat about the era of this kind of music. I was caught up in the moment all night long; hanging on every word of every song just hoping they wouldn't end. Singing my heart out with you all showing more emotion than I have in years. This show touched my soul. I wanted the night to last forever in that beautiful setting with that glorious weather. A night I won't soon forget!

The only reason I only gave this 4 stars was because the Association were terrible. There were old songs of theirs that they sang that I didn't even recognize until half way through the song. They need to take a clue from the Letterman and audition hundreds of people when they change personnel. The Lettermen were awesome, however. They have truly kept the integrity of the group as they have changed members.

Perhaps my expectations (three guys standing near each other signing soft rock classics) were not realistic. What I saw instead, was three guys, all over the place and grandstanding-spending more time talking about how great they were instead of actually performing. The disco-like, heavy on the throbbing base sound was distracting and in most cases overpowering. The photo shoot portion of the show was not necessary and a waste of time.

My mom and I hadn't seen the Lettermen for over 30 years. Tony was grey and there were 2 new members, but the sound was just like we remembered it, soft and soothing. We got to shake hands with two of the guys since we were sitting in the 3rd row. Our friend even got a kiss from Tony! The guys let the audience take pictures with them during Up Up & Away. They are really into pleasing their fans. We definitely will go when they come back to town.

We gladly attended The Lettermen concert at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe. The Lettermen still provide an excellent night's entertainment! Their connection with the audience and musicianship is still outstanding after all these years. They allowed photos to be taken during the concert as well as signing autographs after the performance. They did not leave until all of their fans received the photo opportunity and signatures they desired. Truly remarkable!! The concert venue at Penn's Peak was also very fan friendly. A beautiful view from the decks of breathtaking mountain vistas. Also, the staff service and food in the attached restaurant was very satisfying. We had a great night out!

We really enjoyed the concert, my only complaint is that I wish they had done more of the classics. They've added some broadway songs and a few others that, while they were very good renditions, I came to hear that classic Lettermen sound and that was less than 1/2 of the show. I thought it was nice that during the concert they were ok with cameras, flashes and even took pics with the fans during the concert and after.

I eagerly bought these tickets having been a Letterman fan for decades, and wanted to introduce their music to my wife. On the positive side let me just say that when they sang in their three part harmony, they sounded just as magnificent as they ever did, BUT, they sang their great HIT songs in Medleys, rather than giving the pleasure of the full song to the audience. They each took turns in singing solos, which is not what made them famous, and they definately do not sound good at all except for Donovan Tea as solos, especially the founding member, who did a medley of Sinatra songs that sounded abismal. They often would have their great love songs played up tempo as if they were pseudo rock songs, they are not, they are beautiful love ballads, and they should have sang them that way. At the end of the day, they were on stage too long, and not long enough. They should have sang their classic hit songs harmonies from beginning to end, in a classic slow-tempo ballad style which is really their forte.

So nice to 'hear' the performers and 'understand' every word. Love how The Lettermen make the audience feel important, they are and always have been great to their audience. The Legendary Lettermen are without a doubt three of the most generous and entertaining performers to enjoy in concert. Tony Butula, the original founding member, beams with fresh energy and Donovan Tea and Bobby Poynton compliment their lead man with vibrant appeal. They serenade a romantic repertoire of arrangements with impeccable harmonies and phrasing with an ease of unsurpassed showmanship. This engaging team is charismatic in their presence as they take the audience on a trip down memory lane with classic TV clips, biographical history, and song. The camaraderie among the three is filled with moments of lighthearted well intended humor. The radiant rapport with their audience is delivered with genuine respect and appreciation throughout the performance and beyond into the evening with autograph and photo opportunities. Audiences sharing an evening singing along with The Legendary Lettermen experience simply a priceless musical memory of harmonious perfection. Highly Recommended Suggestion: Be sure to bring your significant other! This is a wonderful opportunity to rekindle romance that fills the air.

Both my husband and myself enjoyed the Letterman very much. Enjoyed hearing favorites (The Way You Look Tonight, When I Fall in Love, Shangri La, A Summer Place). It felt OLD! My husband (we are both 63) said it was ok and cheesy. Too much talking, did not like the picture-taking sessions, references to the merchandise table. I have attended many concerts ranging from The Beach Boys, James Taylor, Carole King, Chris Botti, Van Morrison, young Jackie Evancho, Chicago, Chris Botti, Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand, Andrea Bocelli, Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac, Tina Turner, Celine Dion, Elton John, Billy Joel, Simon & Garfunkel, Paul McCartney, and more. I would have liked to just hear them sing more songs from their early albums.

This group had a special place in my life because their songs became very popular during my teenage years growing up in the Philippines in the 60's and 70's. Their hits are very simple but melodic, full of lovely sentiments that girls fall for, so I have very fond memories with them. Their song "Warm" is my all-time favorite, together with the Pilipino songs they managed to learn and sing very well. I have three of their albums on my MP3 player, and will get 3 more this season after seeing the show. I have long wanted to see them in a concert and their show at Penn's Peak was the fulfillment of a dream, especially since I was with my wife who also loves their song. We sang along as they sang and their rapport with the audience was very palpable. The fact that they stayed after the show for pics with their fans, sign autographs and talk with us for a little while was a blast. May they live long because I'd like to see them again.

Gary Puckett and the Union Gap - although they sang the songs that were their hits, which is what the crowd comes to see - they were a little to theatrical. Like to hear the songs sung as they were on their records. Association - thoroughly enjoyable - they sang the songs as they were recorded - their interaction with the audience was great - they sounded as good as they did 50 years ago. The Lettermen - unfortunately they were not at all enjoyable. Their theatrics turned me off - at least half of the audience left during their performance. The solos don't work - just sing your hits they way they were sung so many years ago - the way we remember them

What can I say other then what a wonderful night filled with hit after hit from 3 fabulous groups! First up was Gary Puckett & The Union Gap. First time seeing them and I was quite impressed with how great Gary's voice still is (even while fighting the remainder of a cold!). Next up was The Association who I saw once before about 13 years ago. Wonderful sound on both vocals and music. Then they saved the best for last when The Lettermen took the stage. I've seen them about 82 times and as always they put on a wonderful show! The only bad thing was the fact that their show was shorter then any I've ever attended, but of course that was due to the fact that you had 3 groups on the bill. I sure hope that the Tilles Center will bring them back solo (or that another local venue will be smart enough to do so).

The Lettermen are better than ever. I have been attending Lettermen live shows almost every year since the early 1970's. An evening with the Lettermen is wonderful. Their music, humor, and friendly demeanor is second to none. Their Christmas Show is outstanding , and a wonderful way to "get in the Christmas Spirit". For a wonderful "feel good " evening I highly recommend "The Lettermen"

The Lettermen were outstanding, as always! They sang many of their hits and devoted the second half of the show to Christmas songs, including beautiful carols sung by each member as a solo. They never disappoint!

Wasn't sure how the Christmas program would be. We have seen the Lettermen three other times. This show was really special. They covered all the aspect of Christmas and every one of them was well done. I would attend this show again!

We go to as many shows as we can when in and around our area (within 150 miles). The Lettermen were by far the best show ever. They were personable, mixed with the crowd, and most importantly sounded better than ever. We will keep going to their shows whenever they come to a venue near us.

I came to see from Japan. I have been a big fan for 40 years. They had lots of big hits in Japan. For instance..Sealed With A Kiss, Mr. Lonely, Because, World Without Love... In the show they sang Mr. Lonely. They have beautiful falsetto harmony in it. But also they can sing with strong voices in other songs. Solo singings too are so wonderful.

Outstanding performance. Outstanding performers..showmen, musicians, human beings. They have "updated" many of the songs, losing some of the sweetness of the originals. I missed the sweetness. Nevertheless, it was terrific.

I have loved listening to the Lettermen sing ever since I was in 7th grade. Seeing them finally perform live for the first time was a dream come true. I enjoyed every moment of the concert. They played for over 2 hours and it was worth every penny! They still sound so amazing even now. Go, Go, Go if they are ever in your area performing, especially if you are a golden oldie like me.

One of the best performances I have seen locally and in LV. I saw them 40 years ago @ NBC and their performance (and sound) at the Concert Hall was even better. Great that they embraced some "local" talent and music (Filipino). Wish they had a closeup video of the 3 for those further away. That would have been a great bonus.

The concert was terrific from beginning to end, and close to 2 hours long. All three gentlemen still have strong, great voices and song presentations were harmonized well. I would have enjoyed listening to each of them sing separately more. They mixed in some personal anecdotes, audience interactions, and humor --- and they definitely know who their market audience is. They could skip the picture taking during the event. Ticket prices were very reasonable. Great fun and memories.

Bought the tickets as a nostalgic gift for my mom and I to share a moment from the past. The Letterman used to blast from our home stereo when I was very young and thought my mom might enjoy reliving a few moments from much simpler times. Their show was unforgettable and my mom is hoping to get tickets again soon to another of their concerts. She loved it (and so did I) as it was a mix of both Christmas and old tunes along with a few newer ones thrown in. They really conncected with the audience from the very beginning to the end.
