Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Club Buffet

Anyone else been there. It appear first rate but very over priced, I appreciate the reviews others have posted. Has anyone had good experience with the value? So far for me easier to stay at teh numerous places on 7th,

Had dinner at the Jack Daniels Old No. 7 yesterday before the Wild game. The last time we had eaten there it was the Headwaters. The price had gone up $10 but we were hoping it was still a first class buffet. The times I remember there was usually prime rib or steak or salmon or sword fish. Yesterday it was round steak and pork tenderloin. It isn't often that you are served round steak because it has little flavor and it is too lean to be tender and this was not tender. It was tough with little flavor. The pork was better but not what you would expect for $45 a plate. It was just a disappointment for that kind of money. The past times we have gone it was usually full but yesterday it was only half full. Next time we will have a carved steak sandwich which are usually tender and tasty.

We purchased pre-buffet tickets for the concert at Headwaters. We were seated fine but then no waitress appeared. Everyone around us had a waitress so I asked if one if she could take our drink order. I was at table 44. She said I don't serve that table. So my husband went to the bar since no one came after about 20 minutes. Then someone told her to help us. I said we were ready to get our bill for the drinks and she came back about 10 minutes later. Then she went away again and came back about another 10 minutes later and had charged us $70 for the meal which I already gave her the prepaid tickets for. Now we were late for the concert because it took her forever to resolve that issue. The food was good but our table had horrible service.
