Yallapalooza

Yalla times and bands need to be reduced!! It is too hot for most to stay out all day seeing bands that no one knows and aren't very good. Eric Church COMPLETELY rocked the place and was worth waiting for. Suggest in the future, have an opener and headliner.....no crappy bands before. David Nail was very grumpy and didn't seem to enjoy being there. Hunter Hayes, newcomer was pretty good...could have opened for Eric and just had the two.

Despite the weather (day started out extremely hot and then it poured rain and then drizzled throughout the evening). the show went off with only a couple of problems. The rain prevented some local groups from performing on the side stage. A few stupid drunks attempted to fight and interupted Jack Ingrams set. Some people didnt use good taste or decorum in the outfits the wore and their inability to handle liquor, but the show was great. Little Big Town was worth the price of admission by themself. They are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I love LBT. Laura Bell Bundy was great very energetic little petite beauty. Jack Ingram and Colt Ford were outstanding and Clay Walker was typical Clay. Songs you know but forget that he sang them until you here them. Great Party and Fantastic Show. I cant wait to get Little Big Town's new album when it is released on August 24. GO GET YOUR COPY!!! Aug 24.

Other than prices goin' up, service goin' down, and limited security, it was an overall great concert. The bands that played were AWESOME! Sound was good, lighting was good! It rained HARD and we weren't allowed to carry in umbrella's. They sold ponchos, but they were cheaply made trash bag things...haha So, future reference, if it looks like rain take your own heavy duty ponchos!

Best concert ever! It was a night full of good music.

we got up to the VIP section, so it was legit!! absolutely LOVED it.

I loved Eric Church and Hunter Hays. They did great and sung all the songs I know. The weather was perfect. Overall yallaplooza was great. I will be coming back to next years Yallapalooza.

All the bands were great, but Eric church was great live! Each song sounded great!

My friends and I had the best time ever. We had General Admission seats and they were incredible. David Nail & Eric Church were way Awesome!!! Heard some new singers and loved them as well. Look forward to doing it again next year!!! See you there.

I had a blast at the concert, David Nail was great but Eric Church took the cake. I haven't been to very many concerts this summer but he did AWESOME. My 7 year old kept telling me how good he was and how much fun she was having. Love going to concerts out at Sandstone, great sound and seating. Loved it.

I only saw David Nail and Eric Church, so I can't comment on the other acts. But both David and Eric were amazing.

The concert on a whole was a dud. Everyone but Eric Church sucked. Church made us wait another 20 minutes before starting to play, probably for more beer sales. This is the fourth time I have seen him in 2010 and 2011 in KC. The other show were all better. The new material is not as popular and not quite as good. He played for 1 hour and 15 minutes. David Nail was on the stage for 1 hour and 10 minutes and he was not good. David did talk for about 15 minutes of that time. The weather was good. No more Church shows for me for awhile if not ever. He was diappointing to me at Yallapalooza.

Eric Church was awesome! He could have played longer!

The show was ok at best. Last year was way better. Eric Church was the best part of the night and it took forever for him to come on stage which was frustrating. The tickets we bought were disappointing. We paid a lot of money for VIP tickets which ended up being the same as the vip experience that we paid half as much for last year. we did want the VIP experience tickets which were sold separately from admission tickets, we bought VIP tickets thinking we were getting to go backstage or something, especially with how much we paid for them and they would not let us. then at the end of the night they mad us throw out a can of Pepsi saying it sonstituted and open container. Really?? A soda??

Overall it was a great concert! Eric Church did absolutely an AMAZING job! The crowd was awesome!! By far the best country snger I have seen preform. Only bad thing about Yalla this year was that there wasn't many known people there compared to the last couple years. I only knew of 2 or 3 people that where there!

This man is unbelievable if you have a chance to see him live you must.

I love going to Yallapalooza every year but this year the concert didn't even start until 5:00 and its usally an all day thing. I love going out there at noon and staying all day with 2 different stages going this year there were only 5 acts on one stage and just wish we could go back to the bigger concert! but Eric Church was GREAT and we had a great time!! Thanks!!

This was my daughters first concert and she enjoyed it. We had general admission tickets, and we sat in the GA seats down by the stage. It was great and the security guard Ron that near was very friendly and helpful.

I loved the venue, very intimate and easy access to bathrooms and concessions. Eric Church was amazing and full of energy, loved David Nail too!

Yallapalooza was asweome once Eric Church came one. Wasn't to familiar with the other bands unfortunately. But still had fun.

The only thing I would have changed is I would have liked to see Eric play for longer. Otherwise, it was awesome!

I got there at 3pm but I wish I would have waited until 8 or 9. The bands before were not great.

We were very disappointed in Yallapalooza this year. We went last year and had a great time. Yes, it poured rain on us this time, but that wasn't the problem. The length of time between performances and the sound quality was terrible. We were in the very front and could not hear the words to the songs. Laura Bell Bundy was the highlight of the show and she had a gentleman who came out and made sure all worked well. We left after Eli Young. Hopefully it got better as the night went on...but we doubt it. It was not worth it to stay and be cold after getting soaked if you couldn't hear the words.

I had a blast. Even though the event was outside and raining, i still had fun. The bands were great and all sounded really good!!!! Little Big Town sounded the best in my opinion. Colt Ford got the crowd going the best. My only complaint would be the lack of artists. Since the rain caused the second stage to be cancelled, there was a 30 minute break between each band instead of constant live music, a bit dissapointing. Overall, had a great time! Would love to come back next year!
