The original line up of Further Seems Forever made an unforgettable show for everyone at the Paradise Rock Club. The high energy, the precision, and the sheer beauty of seeing a band that inspired generations of musicians made this night one that everyone will remember for a long time to come, leaving hopes in many (if not all) for a possible comeback, or -- at the very least -- a new album. That's right, FSF played a brand new song that night that the band wrote a few months prior to deciding on the reunion show; they called it Engines. Chris Carrabba brought in a moment to reflect stating: "I don't think we knew what we had till it was gone." He also mentioned that he was also jealous of watching Jason Gleason perform "The Sound," which they played after he finished talking. All in all, the show was absolutely worth whatever means it took to get there (in my case, several hundred dollars). It was great to see a legacy reborn.

I'm a fan of Chris Carrabba's work in Dashboard Confessional, which led me to start listening to Further Seems Forever since he rejoined the band. The times I have seen Chris before have all been solo acoustic shows, which were incredible, so I didn't really know what to expect. The show was amazing! The band sounded awesome, and their opening act Civilian was great too. I hope they all come back soon, and I would definitely recommend that anyone who has the slightest interest in the band check them out. You won't be disappointed.

This was one of the best shows I've ever been to! Two of my favorite bands together, what a night! I think they both did an amazing job and I wish they would both keep playing shows!

great show, the venue was very intimate and had great atmosphere. The original singer for further seems forever was good, but the real show stealer was the opening act mewithoutYou. Further seams Forever should be opening for them because they are mediocre at best.

It was great to see this band together again after more than a decade. Chris Carrabba always puts a lot of heart and passion into his performance. The band always does what they do best, play their guts out (even through 2 other singers). I did notice some musical flubs every now and then but what do you expect not having played in so long. The Paradise was perfect for a small show like this (I expected more people for a rare Carrabba event). The only drawback was that I would've liked to have heard one or two more songs from their other two albums. Only one song ("The Sound") was played. However, it didn't bother me at all because they played a new song in it's place! Good show, despite (what I thought was) a very small audience. I saw several girls standing off to the side just to look at Chris Carrabba. They were incredibly bored, apparently no clue either. Maybe they expected a 'Dashboard' show. Last note, the Merch booth was a big disappointment with boring logo tees all the same style just with different colors. Too bad since all my old FSF shirts have shrunk down to babydoll size.

To be able to see Further Seems Forever for the first time with their first and most impactful singer, Chris Carrabba, was probably the most important show I've ever been to. If you're a fan, don't miss out. The chance may not come again. Hard hitting and a wonderful set list. A true fan favorite.

Simply amazing. Venue was nice, staff was nice, other attendants were into it. Plenty of balcony and standing room. I wish it went on for longer! Seeing FSF in their original line up was like a dream come true. I had seen them with their two other singers, but never Chris. Great nostalgia for me, as they were my favorite band in High School.

Sure the musicians were solid and played great.. and maybe Chris' voice seemed just a tad weary.. but the history of the band and the memories of 10 years ago were the story. This was a ground breaking act returning to the stage and delivering classic songs that stirred the soul and brought us back to the feelings when we were younger. This is the stuff that laid the groundwork for a whole era of music. Classic- and we were fortunate to be there.
