I've seen Extreme a few times over the years. They have always put on a killer show. The show at House of Blues was no exception. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen. The sound was great and the band hit the ground running with "It's a Monster". They didn't let up for 2 1/2 hours. Great set list. Go see them!

I heard Extreme in a small island when I was 12 by a good friend of mine, the first song I heard was "Money In God We Trust" and I was so amazed at that time...who knew I would be at one of their show years later... It's like a kid's dream that came true, I'm so glad it happened! I cannot be more specific about my feelings, you have to live it to understand! Well I guess it is time for me to get my guitar again and to dance into the decadence dance! Sheers! A humble fan!

For the first night of the 25th Anniversary of Pornograffiti Tour, the band was nothing but completely tight. To give back to the fans like it was 1990 all over again was truly an amazing spectacle to watch. The energy level from the band to the crowd was incredible. You could see both Nuno and Pat having the BEST time enjoying themselves during the whole show. As a longtime fan, I am humbled that they still give us A-Game performance in delivery. Gary never stops giving 110% for the fans, and watching K-Figg beat the skins is amazing. One of the tightest Extreme shows I have witnessed to this point.

It was unforgivable especially this being the opening night of the tour for the band to be over 1 hour late hitting the stage. The excitement of the curtain dropping was definated curtailed by this. No explanation, just let us sit there getting more annnoyed by the moment. The show itself was good, not spectacular by any means. But they've been off the road for a while so I guess it will take some time. I'd go see them again, but it's not worth waiting that extra hour for someone to hit the stage.

The Extreme show was bad. Only stayed an hour. No opening act and they were 70 minutes late. They admitted sound check wasn't done and we couldn't hear their voices for the first three songs. Boo

Extreme was great. The band was tight and enthusiastic. They went on an hour late due to undisclosed issues and Nuno apologized numerous times. For the first few songs, you could barely hear Gary, but Nuno and Pat were coming through loud and clear. This was resolved after 4 songs or so. It was the first night of the tour and it was apparent they were working out the kinks with lighting and sound. Nuno remains one of the best, and under rated, guitarists out there. Overall, a great show.

The songs were fantastic and they sounded amazing. BUT - there were some VERY weird moments. Nuno kept apologizing for being late (even though they started at 9 - standard concert start time). Gary tripped over a speaker at least twice and dropped his microphone once. And he did this VERY strange Frank Sinatra type ballad in the middle. And Nuno asked someone to give him a tissue - he was clearly struggling with a cold because he kept blowing his nose right on stage. IT was just ......... strange. Slightly unprofessional. But they really sounded so good. And the songs hold up for me. I'm not sure why they decided to do the arena and not a smaller venu - would have been much better suited to an Oakdale or Palace or similar. The Arena was too big and felt very empty.

drove 2 hours to see this show. been exited about it for over a month. well the band came on an hour late. they showed up late and had no sound check. the sound was horrible for a lil more than half the show. couldnt even hear the vocals for the first 5 or 6 songs. sound was so muddy, it sounded like i was at the bottom of a bowl of soup listening to a show. the band was kicking major ass but, it just didnt have any sound quality. by the end of the show the sound was a lot better but much too late. i was sitting behind the sound mixer and wanted to tell the sound tech he was tone deaf but im sure they wouldnt let me that close. bottom line, this is an amazing band. just hope if you see them they make their soundcheck.

It was great to see entire album played in its entirety. Nino is a guitar god and amazing musician. Loved watching him on piano and video close ups of his guitar work. Gary is always entertaining and charismatic. I can't keep my eyes off of him. The hardest thing is which one do you watch? Pat and KFigg are also super to watch and listen to. I was disappointed the show started one hour late. Someone should have given us a heads up that show was going to be late. I drove from Long Island to see them for their opening night and can't wait to see them in Westbury on the 24th. Thank you for deciding to tour for the album and always playing in Long Island. I hope they will tour for III Sides To Every Story, my favorite.

I saw Extreme on the Pornograffitti tour and they were fantastic. And they were just as good at Mohegan Sun, playing in the big arena to roughly 6000 people, maybe more. And they sure knew how to work the stage, Gary running all over the place like the Energizer Bunny on 8 shots of espresso. More importantly, everyone sounded fantastic. Nuno was especially mesmerizing, proving that he's one of the best guitarists alive today. If you're on the fence about going to this one, I highly recommend that you do. If you've ever been a fan of Extreme then you won't regret it. And it was sweet to hear them do the whole Pornograffitti album live from front to back.

Extreme kickin it again at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. Outstanding show!! Dusting off Pornografitti and electrifying the crowd just like they did when they toured to support it years ago. They're still amazing on stage, I personally think they're better in a smaller venue versus stadiums. Nuno still blows away the crowd with his hard hitting riffs, and intense fast fingering and picking techniques that most can not comprehend. Gary's back where he belongs and belting out those great lyrics they recorded. Pat pounds that bass as hard as the drummer is playing so that we know he's present, and put his voice more in the mix... Thanks guys for kicking our asses and keep doing so..

Mostly original members, all still good looking and talented. One non-original member is simply the greatest drummer I know. Being local boys, they really love to entertain in New England and you can feel it in the energy of the room. The Hampton Casino says they installed air conditioning this season, but it sure as heck didn't seem like it... but who cares. If it's too loud or too hot, you're too damn old.

Best venue, I love Extreme, but was a little worried about the Casino Ballroom because i had never been there. What a fantastic show this was. We were 5 feet from the stage, it was perfect. From now on, this is the only place that I want to see bands. What a great experience.

Extreme performed Pornograffitti from top to bottom with many songs after to a sro crowd in New Hampshire. Powerful Powerful Powerful - every element - From K Figg on the Drums - Pat Badgers Dead On Vocals, Gary Cherone is such a great entertainer - and Nunos great Guitar and presence to top it all off - not a dull moment - On the way out - I overheard so many people saying it was the best concert of their lives! Mine as well!

I have wanted to see these guys live for a while. Drove to Hampton Beach from Brooklyn to finally catch them. It was an UNBELIEVABLE show. The energy level never fell off from the opening note to the final bow. Gary Cherone needs to bottle whatever he takes to maintain that energetic pace for over 2 hours. He was great. Nuno was typically awesome. He & Gary were great at working the whole stage and engaging with the crowd. I don't have enough superlatives to describe what I saw. GREAT experience. Can't wait to see them again. They put on a great show live. Loved the mix of songs in their playlist. As did the rest of the crowd, from what I saw.

After over 25yrs, these guys can still bring it! In an industry of old has-beens, Extreme still rocks as hard as they ever did, and sound equally impressive. Gary hasn't "blown out" his voice like many others of this musical genre. Drums and bass sounded amazing...and Nuno...well, Nuno is Nuno!!! He is one of the greatest guitar gods ever! He credits Eddie Van Halen for changing the guitar world, but folks, Nuno can play circles around Eddie! Overall, and amazing show. Pornograffiti from top to bottom, and a great encore set!

It started with a strobe light and an annoying buzz from the fire alarm that went off seconds before things got "Extreme". As we filed back in, after the brief intermission, before the show this time, the excitement level was building, the crowd leaning in buzzing with the anticipation of the show about to start. The band hit the stage and their energy was intense. Nuno's guitar work was no less than amazing, some of the best I've ever heard. The sound was studio quality, the set-up, flawless and the mix was unbelievable, excepting the vocals were a bit low and the Bass muddy. These guys traveled the stage, acknowledged every part of the venue, and held the crowd in the palms of their hands the entire show. I've never heard so much good singing from an audience, despite the woman who was louder than every one else and way off key. The versatility of the songs and the dynamics added were utterly fantastic, from the upright Piano and acoustic guitar, to the thump of a well mixed drum kit and Nuno's blazing fingers on the neck of a well oiled guitar. The visuals with the lighting were on point, except for a single spot operator who dropped Nuno a few times, and the movement of the guys was much appreciated. Gary reminded me of Freddie Mercury at times and his very theatrical display, while belting out the melodies and keeping things interesting for the onlookers. Thanks guys for a truly amazing evening, and re-instilling my faith in the live rock show, still exciting and still out there for those who truly like to rock!

The VIP package was excellent in meeting Gary, Nuno, Pat and Figs. Very approachable, friendly and good natured. The energy and intent on delivering a "25th Anniversary" performance was evident from the show opener to conclusion. Every aspect was of "par excellence!" From vocals, guitars and percussion. It was everything you could have hoped for. It was refreshing to experience a performance where the band members really cherished their fans as much as their music.

I've seen Extreme 5 times; each time has been a great show! This time was no exception. Even with a cold (which he self-depricatingly acknowledged by regularly blowing his nose), Nuno Bettencourt played flawlessly. Gary Cherone's vocals have deepened as any singers do over time, by he really put out. Pat Badger & Kevin Figueredo (spelling?) held down the bottom end expertly.

What more can I say? One of the greatest shows I've ever seen. Full speed rock for 2+ hours. Nuno is hypnotizing. Gary dances around like a 20 year old. The band is tight and you can see how much they're enjoying playing together. The set list was perfect - all greatest hits, with some first album gems. Great mix of older and newer, with plenty of songs from III Side To Every Story (my personal favorite Extreme album). Thank you Extreme! And for any rock music fan out there - I highly recommend. I am very happy this band is still actively playing. Every song sounded like the album but of course better live! They are perfectionists in my eyes. I am a very big fan of Nuno and his virtuoso guitar skills, but this all would not happen without the front-man Gary, the Bassist Pat, and the drummer Kevin. I got the impression that if Nuno had his way, he would have kept on playing past midnight. After they were done, Nuno and Gary walked down in front to greet the fans close enough to high five and shake hands if you were close enough.

Long time Extreme fan, since Extreme I. Have seen them liv many times, the first time in 1990. Took my 13 year old son who is following in his Dad's footsteps in great musical taste! We both had an incredible time. Gary is the consummate front man, 'extreme-ly' entertaining. What can I say about Nuno, one of the greatest of all time! Incredible sound, amazing skills, and a great entertainer. The whole band was just really tight and enjoyed playing (for nearly 2 hours!). The Casino Ballroom is a great venue to see a show, classic. The band was so appreciative of the crowd, they hung out on stage for awhile to say thank you and shake hands. Just a great group of guys who love the fans as much as the fans love them. The only negative of the whole night was not being able to grab the Nuno pick I saw on the floor before someone else did when the lights came up. Anyway, great band, great night, and so glad my son saw an incredible concert! PS The opener, Red Sky Mary rocked. I'm a new fan now.

I've seen Extreme about 50 times. This show was just Meh... Not sure if they were tired (Nuno's voice was shot) or what, but it wasn't the most dynamic performance I've ever seen by the Boys from Boston. As someone who owns all 5 Extreme CD's, Dramagods, both Mourning Widows cd's and Satellite Party, as well as Population 1, and Gravity suffice it to say I'm a "FAN" of Nuno. This time around I was hoping for more and seemed to get a little less. Sorry guys. Hope the next show is more dynamic!

They sounded great. How many shows have you been to where you go see a band who's music you love from back in the day and the instruments and the vocals are completely on point? This was it. Gary and Nuno (sorry bassist and drummer you were awesome too) were on fire. Crowd was great and totally into it. The last time I saw Extreme was 22 years ago at the Casino Ballroom. Before then I saw them at the Orpheum in Boston. This was way back when they were getting a lot of airplay. Fast forward to today when we're all only a little bit older and these guys are still rocking just as hard if not harder than before. I don't know if it's just an appreciation of what has been but as a band there just seemed to be something more honest and earnest about their music and I know as a fan and given the state of today's music I appreciate it so much more. They rocked songs off their first album as well as Pornograffiti and Extreme III. They were having so much fun and it was infectious. Most of all though they sounded fantastic. These guys sound better live than in the studio IMHO which is something that was rare for back in the day. Honestly, I have been buzzing about this show all weekend. It was just so unbelievable. I am so glad I went. Nice job boys!!

I've been an Extreme fan since high school in the early 1990's. I followed them through Waiting for the Punchline, then lost track of them after Gary joined and left Van Halen. I had never seen them live, and almost didn't believe it when I learned they were touring. The lost ticket price came across as a warning that certainly, Extreme is not a big draw, and that given their age, the performance would not be on par with their abilities in their prime. I took that risk, thinking this would be the only opportunity for me to see them. In short, the risk paid off big time. Some comments about the venue, Mohegan Sun Arena. I have been there many times now, and generally have had good experiences. Recently though, they have failed to execute, and have left me contemplating seeing acts at other nearby venues as an alternative. As an aside, I saw Transiberian Orchestra in November 2014 on a Sunday afternoon. Because the venue wasn't ready, the capacity crowd was held outside, creating an slow, uncomfortable entry process instead of allowing people to trickle in over a longer period. Cue to January 2015 for Extreme: it was a half-concert setup, so the crowd was smaller. They let people into the arena, but we sat there for at least 90 minutes (in narrow, uncomfortable seats with little legroom) while they continued to work set up of the stage. The crowd was older, and didn't get unruly, but because they were so late in getting the place ready, an 11:00 p.m. venue curfew forced the band to cut short their encore set. No pun intended, I was extremely disappointed that I missed out on a longer performance because of Mohegan Sun's lack of preparedness. I blame the venue, not the band, because once they did hit the stage, they were very apologetic for the late start (and later for having to cut short the encore), but apologetic on behalf of the venue. They made it clear the band was not responsible for the delay. When they finally did start, Extreme ran through the album Pornograffitti from start to finish, including every sound effect (e.g.-the thunderstorm/rain and beginning and end). It was like listening to the album itself, only better (generally). I say "generally" because Gary Cherone struggled vocally on the initial song, "Decadence Dance." He got better on later songs. Having not heard Extreme live in their prime, I can't say if Gary used to be better in concert or if 25 years have had an effect on him. Either explanation is possible. Nuno Bettencourt, on the other hand, sings, plays, and looks like he did a quarter century ago. He hasn't lost a step. His performances throughout the night were seemingly flawless, and that's why I'd definitely see Extreme again if they come around. He was and still is an immensely talented rock guitarist, one of the best ever. The show itself lacked any of the high-tech effects that today's current acts put on, but they were not necessary to make the show enjoyable. For certain acts like TSO, the effects enhance the performance. Here, it would look like they're trying too hard. And I liked the affordable prices. Their performance in the encore section was just excellent as the Pornograffitti set list. It made the premature end to the concert that much more disappointing.

This band played hard, well, and with genuine joy for the entire show! I was truly impressed and feel like they are setting a standard for other bands to follow. Just a great band playing some of their greatest hits and demonstrating a sincere love for their fans. I'll see them again!!!

The show was amazing!!! These guys can still kick ass after more than 25yrs together!! The show got started a little late but I didn't care cuz they rocked the house. They played Pornograffitti in its entirety which was awesome!! At one point Nuno said the set list wouldn't be in that order for a normal concert so bear with us. All in all, it was an awesome show!!

Having been a fan of Extreme from the beginning, it was great to see them perform this album from start to finish in a great concert venue like the House of Blues. I try to avoid viewing set lists before a show, but this time it couldn't be helped. Knowing the album order was not a deterrent in enjoying the musicians doing their thing. It was difficult to take my eyes off of Nuno Bettencourt and his guitar prowess. I'm sure the other members were giving it their all as well, but honestly, I didn't take my eyes off of Nuno. This show should not be missed if they are in your area. Other fun songs came after Pornograffitti and it was all great to see!

Extreme has the distinction of being the one band that has given three of the most memorable shows I have ever seen. Back in 1993 at the Beacon Theater, they put on a show that I will not soon forget and then in 2015 they put on one of the most entertaining, fun and exhilarating sets I have seen in years. In between was that show at the Chance in 1996 when the band imploded. While not a wonderful memory, it certainly ranks up there. On January 24, 2015 at The Space in Westbury, NY my brother and I did the VIP Meet and Greet and I must say that the bands graciousness and congeniality just added to the general experience. As I get older, I think that I prefer seeing professionally performed shows rather than some erratic mess where it appears that the band showed up about an hour before the show and tried to figure out what songs they know how to play. This was a great show from the beginning to the end. This show falls in the top ten if for no other reason, the boundless energy, enthusiasm, harmonies and musicianship the four displayed that night. The one factor that my brother mentioned and this was so true, the band seemed more comfortable and relaxed than at any other time. They truly appeared to be enjoying themselves and you could feel it.

Haven't seen Extreme since the early 90's and they did not disappoint! Have been waiting for an excuse to check out the Space at Westbury and so glad that I chose this concert for it. The band were excellent, great sound and venue just perfect. Loved every minute of it and hearing the whole of Pornograffiti live!

I have wanted to see Extreme for 25 years, and I finally go the chance to. Their voices are even better than years ago, and the energy and playing was amazing. I highly recommend this show to everyone. Extreme crosses so many genres that I can't think of a person who wouldn't love this band live.

I love a group that likes what they are doing and these guys clearly enjoyed themselves in this show. I wish they were continuing to write and release material. So much to offer and receive. The House of Blues is a good venue although the sound got a bit muddy at least where I was. Good to eat there and "pass the line".

OK, I was a big fan back in the day. When a buddy of mine found out about the show, we decided we had to go. I have to say, the band hasn't lost a step. Funny to see all the guitarists in the crowd cram in to see Nuno work the strings. The band worked the audience well. As long as I could keep my mind in the "time machine" back to 199X, I was loving it. The only thing that disappointed was the sound was having issues...and they didn't ever correct them. However, I kept thinking "this album isn't as good as I remembered." I know: it was a concept album, made for a teen or twenty-something--which I no longer am. If you know the band, you should go. It was a fun time-warp.

The venue had technical difficulties, which pushed back the band's sound check by over an hour. As a result, the show started very late. However, the band gave 150% and put on a phenomenal show! It was a great way to kick off the current tour! They played the album from beginning to end in album order, then filled in the remaining setlist with some other classic hits. It was a night to remember!

Another stellar show by Extreme. nearly 2 1/2 hours of Pornograffiti and other hits..Cool to hear the piano ladened "When I first Kissed you" alongside live staples More Than Words, Hole Hearted and Decadence Dance...The meet and greet was well worth the price of admission...

The show was great! the only thing that happened and it's totally unrelated to the band, is that just before the show was about to start the fire alarm went off and we all had to evacuate the venue, it was freezing outside but we only waited for a bout 10 to 15 minutes before the firemen let everyone in again, a bit crazy trying to get inside but it really did not affect the greatness of the show, what impressed me the most was how tight the vocal harmonies were, really good!! the musicianship was amazing and the drummer whom I believe is not the original that played on Pornograffitti was really good!! Overall a great show! highly recommended!

Extreme hit between the glory days of 80s metal and the grunge wave of the 90s. They deserved to have a longer run than they did back then. In spite of that, they are proving to be one of the best bands of that era performing today. They pour their hearts into the show and sound awesome. I've seen other bands go through the motions of doing a complete album but Extreme plays at a higher level and makes sure they audience is having a good time from start to finish. "Pornograffitti" is not an easy album to play and they do it with real artistry. Also, they haven't lost an ounce of energy 25 years after this album was dropped. You can see each of the 4 guys in this band pushing each other to give their best. Frankly, I think they deserve to be entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year for this tour. If you like Extreme, you get a full dose with this show.

I have been waiting for Extreme to tour the New York area for years. They performed Pornograffiti from top to bottom with an encore of other hits as well. Gary was non stop full of energy the entire 2 plus hours. Nuno never dissapoints. He electrified the Space @Westbury. A true "Rock God." The band really know how to Rock a stage and work an audience. Come back soon...

This show will forever be the most meaningful for me. I met the band for the second time during this tour. They all remembered me and thanked me for my gifts I gave them from the previous Mohegan Sun Show. A friend passed away unexpectedly and Extreme was our favorite band. He was suppose to be at that show with me MEET &GREET etc. So I went alone to honor my friend. All the guys in the band, their management (Rob) were so caring and sympathetic. The band was touched that I would honor my friend at their concert. They signed his picture for me and took a picture with me holding a picture of him. The boys rocked out hard. Every song was so well done! A must see!!!!! Never a dull moment! I.E. fire alarm goes off after Nuno strums the first cord of Decadence Dance. All evacuated. None the less the show was awesome and they played non stop for about 2 1/2/ hours!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!
