I was very disappointed with several of the comedians that were openers for Darren Knight. They were vulgar with unexpected jokes. The humor from the u tube videos was overtaken with crude and sexists openers. I feel it was a misrepresentation of the expected show. Darren was good. I expected a longer session with him.

I enjoyed the show, it was upbeat and nonstop laughter! It's been along time since I laughed so hard! The Coach and Red Squirrel where as entertaining as Darren Knight! The MC could've been better but we all have different levels of funny! If attending the show at the IP I recommend the bar stood orchestra seating; easy in and out of seats. Bottom line it is worth every penny!

Laughed almost continuously during the whole show. My face was hurting when we left! The Show was Very good....But Darren Knight AKA Southern Momma was absolutely the BEST!! Did not really care for "Red Squirrel" She was way to vulgar for me and my family. I would never recommend her....But Darren Knight , I would highly recommend, He was well worth the time and money! My friends and I (6) were looking forward to a comedy show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville! Instead, we got a comedian who was not very funny. His opening acts were funnier and more entertaining. We got up and left before the show ended and there were others that did the same. I felt bad for leaving which I've never done. There were woman around us that were laughing at his jokes but I felt there was an inside connection to these jokes. My friends and I have seen many comedy acts before but this was the worst! I would not recommend this show unless you have seen his videos first and found him entertaining.

I love Darren s Southern Momma youtube videos so I thought his live show would be hilarious. He was funny but he didn t do any of the Southern Momma skits. He also went into quite a few morality rants, which I agree with but I was there to see comedy. Mostly disappointed though that we didn t get to actually see Sothern Momma .

We could have listened to him for another 2 hours. The opening acts were funny and charming. Darren is a straightforward and humble guy that shares his story, testimony, and comedy in such a realistic and southern way. We absolutely laughed until we cried and would not hesitate to see another of his shows. Not knowing what to expect going into this show, we are now complete and total fans. Please bring Darren Knight back to The Ryman real soon. His show is a HIT!

Darren became famous for his southern momma videos not his comedy skits. One would think bc this made him so famous, he would perform his successful videos while maybe throwing in there some standup. He didn t do one southern momma line or skit. We were all disappointed. If Darren wants to keep selling out- someone needs to recommend this to him. Also please remain humble, Darren. Bragging, being bossy and wearing Michael Jackson gloves to meet others is demeaning to the audience. We re all humans. Red Squirrel was AMAZING and should go out on her own!!!!!

SMomma and all the comedians with Darren were amazing. Especially Red Squirrel! She was wildly funny/uncensored/loved her Southern Accent & the more she talked, the more southern she got! Darren Knight s performance was perfect! I loved that he laughs at himself. Very attractive young man! I also thoroughly enjoyed his mini-sermon at the end about America s youth & how we re raising a bunch of idiots . It was enlightening, agreeable, & what I say all the time. And lastly, I really appreciated Darren stating his / all of their faith in Jesus & apologizing for the dirty words . The show didn t repeat material, and I was pleasantly surprised at how funny they were. I heard from people I have never seen before and loved them! The biggest thing that I was impressed was by how down to earth Darren was. Also, how nice all the other performers were. They made sure to make the audience feel special and they were just soo kind. They wanted to be sure you got your money s worth and we did for sure! It s a must see!

Three other people had short segments before Darren. All of their jokes were the same and about personal body issues..which I didn't care for. Darren is funny, his material is relateable, but it was very short. Five random members of the audience got to ask him a question at the end. After the show he made it sound like everyone was invited to get in line for a picture but that was not the case. We were told by the staff that the meet and greet/photo opportunity was only for specific people who had paid ahead of time..didn't know about that. Very Short entertainment time for the money.

Darren Knight was so, so funny! My jaws and face hurt from laughing so much. I knew he was good in his FB videos, but in person he was totally GREAT!! So down home and easy to relate to. Darren Knight is one of the coolest people. I loved his "act" before I went to the show but seeing him in person and finding out how real and down to earth he really is makes me love him more. He is a truly kind human being and really cares about people. He speaks the truth about families, parenting and just down right being a good person.

I loved the show! It lasted a long time and very funny. Also, Darren was very considerate of patrons, no cell phone use allowed during show. He and the other entertainers were very accessible to fans, they allowed questions and photos.

I laughed so hard! Ginger Billy was awesome and so was Red Squirrel (opening comics) Darren was funny, relatable and very down to earth. His live show reflects this and is hilarious! Don't miss this show!!!!!!!!!!

Red Squirrel was hilarious!! Best act of the night. Southern Momma got a little 'preachy' when he was talking about parenting. Some of his jokes went on too long. Would definitely pay to see Red Squirrel again. But Southern Momma needs to stick to fb & YouTube. He was funny, but not as funny as I thought.

It seems that Darren and his cast are attempting to be the Blue Collar Comedy Tour 2.0. But, it is not even close. These characters are good in three minute Youtube doses, not a two hour standup show. I do not blame this on D. Knight. He has been rushed from the internet to arenas with no time to hone his craft. I think a run of dates as an opening act for a headliner would go far in helping him work out new material and tighten up his set. If you wait a year to see him, I'm sure it will be much better.
