I took my 12 year old son to this show created a bond and memories that will last forever he wants to come back next year he has seen kid rock and ac/dc he said this was his best concert expierence to date by far this was my 3rd year in a row this show was the most impressive one of the three i heard by word of mouth i now tell everyone i cant believe these guys play here every year we are truley blessed to get to jam with these guys every year this is now a family tradition bringing my 9 year old daughter next year

We have been avid fans for some time now. Took my son and daughter-in-law for the first time and they where amazed. With them being younger I watched them sing most of the songs and comment after each one. They couldn't beleive what they where hearing. Great show!!! See ya next year.

I've been going to concerts for 32 years and i will tell you this machine they call El monstero is THE BEST tribute I have seen. This a must see for all you Pink Floyd fans. The musicianship that those guys bring to the stage is just awesome. Roger Waters should take note... these guys can run with your boys and .....well I'll just say they kicked ass and leave at that.

Another fabulous time was had by all. El Monstero and all it's extras make this a great show to see. The backup singers, sax players, drummers, teacher, pole & floor dancers, cops and every other addition to the band make it a spectacular concert. The new bass player is a really good fit in the band & his singing was really cool too. Can't wait to see them next year for another awesome Christmas treat.

This show was unlike any other El Monstero show that has ever been. From guest singers, to full orchestra, and even theatrical moments during the show it was an unforgettable experience. Along with many of the Pink Floyd favorites and standards the complete performance of the album The Wall was an unexpected treat for the eyes as well as the ears. If you missed this show, you missed something truly spectacular.

What a fantastic concert! They played some of the best Pink Floyd ever and performed The Wall in its entirety! It was visually stunning as well. I did not hold our high hopes for this event - They are a local Pink Floyd Cover Band but they sure did not disappoint! They sounded amazing - looked amazing and if I didn't know any better, would have thought I was at a Pink Floyd show. I can't wait to see these guys perform again!

El Monstero was great! The crowd was of many walks of life. These are very talented musicians. Only real down fall was the interesting and unnecessary girls on stage for a few songs. My husband I both agreed they were not an asset to the overall experience. We both love Pink Floyd though so we really just enjoyed the music. Love seeing shows at uptown theater! It's a nice, more intimate setting for a concert. General admission is definitely the way to if you don't mind standing, which I do at any concert anyway.

My yongest daughter and I went to our fourth consecutive El Monstero concert at the Uptown in Kansas City. It has become our tradition. Two different generations of Pink Floyd fans. We think the band is great and always love to see how they change the up the production each time. I think they get better each time we see them, but we have NEVER been disappointed with the show or overall production. Keep Kansas City on your list of venues and we will keep coming to this excellent show!

If you live in St. Louis or anywhere near, and you like live music events, you MUST see Elmonstero! Seeing the best of the best all together is awesome! The New Years Eve event was fabulous! Hope they do it again. I was hoping that K-She would have had a video with highlights from throughout the years, or something, they really could have done a lot more for their 50 year kick off, but overall, a truly wonderful event.

The theatrics were great!!! I had never seen an El Monstero Concert, my boyfriend was so excited to take me. He was very disappointed in the show, said he had seen them many times and they were normally the best show ever but this time it just wasn't the same. The music was very flat. I noticed the crowd just wasn't into it as much as they should have been at a concert of this sort. Or maybe I'm just a deadhead, lol....because this just didn't even come close to the Jakes Leg concerts we have seen.

There was absolutely so much talent put into this show! From the beginning, to the end of all of it, there were so many spontaneous moments!! The excerpts from practically every album. I really liked all of the musicianship, vocalist, dancers, theatrics, and FX!!! I would definitely come back to see this again!!! I would also recommend to anyone who hasn't seen this to see!!!!!!!!! El Monstero that is a St. Louis Tradition, plays Pink Floyd with all the special effects expected in a Pink Floyd Concert. Venue is a great place to see them. Reserved seating is a much appreciated relatively new idea for some nights. Without reserved seats it's nearly impossible to get a seat at all. Recommend seats on the main level if possible where sound and the show effects are much better. A must see for a Pink Floyd fan!

Fantastic show. This band could tour nationally and make a ton of money (so they say). St. Louis is lucky to have such local talent. I saw Paul McCartney, The Who, Duane Allman, Boston, and others, but saw El Monstero twice this year and would put them at the top of the list..

El Monstero and Celebration Day were excellent representatives of Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin respectively. The performances were superb, highlighted by the most beautiful and impressive visuals and special effects I have ever seen at a concert. I can't say enough good things about this show. Thanks guys! Also, the venue straightened out the security mess I experienced at Joe Walsh. This kept me from giving up on the venue.

El Monstero was great as usual, not so much for Celebration Day. The sound was really off compared to last year. We were very disappointed. I don't know if they got a new sound guy or what, but it was a bunch of noise! And no Cashmere? No encore either which is strange, but I understand as everyone was probably done listening to that!

Always a great show. Very impressive performance. I wish they would have had silks again. It would easier to see from far away and is an amazing art. Though I love both, Celebration Day is my favorite. They can ROCK OUT some Led Zeppelin.

I saw El Monstero on Friday, so night one of the tour and it was UNBELIEVABLE! Everything from the lights to the costumes--not to mention the awesome music! This is my second time seeing them, and I didnt think they could top their first performance, but they sure DID! Won't ever forget this show! Loved it so much, I'm considering buying a ticket for their last night at the Pagent!

My first experience seeing Celebration Day & El Monstero had me both "Dazed and Confused" and pleasantly "Comfortably Numb"!!! I've never had the priviledge of seeing either of the original bands but have seen many tribute bands for both groups and none compare to Celebration Day & El Monstero! Guys you've got it goin' on! Never stop what you're doing because you are RIGHT ON in every way! Setlist, lighting, sound, stage, back-up singers, stage performers, props, video, EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! BRAVO WELL DONE! The Great Gig in the Sky blew me away! I love and can definitely appreciate a women with pipes that knows how to use them and use them well. Those girls are AWESOME!!!!! Entire band KICKS serious ass!!! Cannot wait to see the next show!

I was not lucky enough to be alive in the 70s, but El Monstero gave me that chance by performing the best Pink Floyd cover imaginable! It was the best concert I have ever been to. They played a perfect selection of Floyd's songs, a nice mix of their albums (not just Dark Side), and really involved the audience. Also, not only did their musical talents sound incredible, but they put on a theatrical performance the entire show! I was blown away by the first half, but everything got even better once the sun went down and they could use the darkness. I cannot wait to see El Monstero again the next time they are back in St. Louis. :)

This was my first time getting to see El Monstero live, and it was much more than I ever could've imagined. I had always heard good things, but it took seeing it with my own eyes to really believe it. It was like a Vegas style show with girls dancing on ropes, chains, rings, and poles, Fire, Smoke, Bubbles, and everything else. El Monstero also captured every detail of the sound perfectly too. If you closed your eyes you could swear you were listening to Dark Side of the Moon.

I haven't been to an El Monstero show for six years. The show is still amazing. It occurred to me that the cheap tickets (general admission) at the Pageant actually get you the best "seats" in the house! Aside from the few "fans" who felt it was their right to push past everyone to get to the front, and the one obnoxious drunk who kept knocking into everyone, the show was fantastic. There is no questioning the musical ability or stage presence of this group. The show opened with "Sheep" and continued for three and a half hours with one twenty minute break about an hour and a half in. A much more intimate venue than Verizon.

Frankly, I feel gypped. I bought the most expensive tickets they had based on being blown away by last year's show and they really down sized the production this year. Last year seats in 6th row center would have been worth the price, this year not so much. I did hear a lot of complaining about poor lighting, particularly the follow spots. While it's true that the musicians were in the dark the vast majority of the time, I attributed that to a nod to early Floyd, that they wanted the lights and images to be the show. Either that or their lighting team is incompetent. Interestingly, they didn't play anything older that DSOM. #bummer The stuff they did play sounded great to be sure. The tribute during "Wish you were here" was cool and if I'm not mistaken that was the entire DSOM album. I'd go again next year but won't plop down $80 (with fees) to sit that far down front. Final gripe, they started more than an hour later than the published start time. I get they wanted it to be darker but tell us that up front please. #arrogance

Have attended several El Monstero shows over the years. This year's show seemed to be a bit weak from the music side and some of the songs played were certainly not the most familiar Pink Floyd songs. Still a good show but musicians seemed to not connect properly at times. Although women vocalists were outstanding, some of the main male singers were off key at times.

St. Louis should be proud that such wonderful talented artists live & works in our great city.
