First time at the venue. We absolutely loved it. It was intimate and open and all around convenient with General Admission access for everyone. Great place to see a show. The band started right on time at 8:00 PM and ended at 9:45 PM. They covered most of MJ's big / high energy hits (I mean he has a huge catalog). As noted in other reviews, there was a lot of time spent introducing and reintroducing the band members. As far as rating Who's Bad. It's hard to give them an accurate review. The lead guy who plays MJ was out due to a death in the family. Obviously we cannot fault them for that and he is in our thoughts and prayers. But with that said, I feel like we did not get a full show (the set list was paired down and it seemed like the number of people on stage was too on top of not getting to see the guy people rave about). We still had fun, but not quite what we expected. I assume true MJ fans would like them no matter what.

We enjoyed the show! We did not like the opening act. Why does the MJ cover group need a opening band? I guess to waste time to sell drinks.

I've seen this show several times and it's amazing. So much fun! They play all of the hits and really get the crowd dancing! There are costume changes to represent the different Michael Jackson Eras, as well as choreographed dance moves to keep the crowd entertained. You can tell that the group really enjoys performing MJ's music. I'm planning on seeing Who's Bad the next time they are in NYC.

Being a HUGE , Michael Jackson fan, I was delighted to hear that Who's Bad would be performing near me. Who's Bad exceeded my expectations!!!! From start to finish, it was an amazing tribute to the King of Pop. In fact, Who's Bad will be performing about an hour away from me in May 2011 and I already have tickets to go see them again!

At the begining it started off slow but as the groups began playing it got better and better. The funk group took it back ole school style and that was incridible. Then came the Who's Bad group and they turned it out, I enjoyed the first Michael more so than the second. He was so energetic and the moves was awesome.

Who's Bad clearly showed their absolute love and admiration for the King of Pop in their 2-hour show. They were able to keep the entire crowd excited & involved in the act, and screaming for more. Taalib's dance moves were exactly like Michael's, and he even incorporated in the little smiles and facial expressions that Michael did... it was like watching an actual Bad Tour concert!!! As I never saw Michael in person in concert, this is actually the next best thing. Wonderful tribute, the only thing I wish was that they played more Dangerous/HIStory material! I was so impressed, I am going to see Who's Bad again later this month, and can't wait!

I have been to over 30 concerts in the last 10 years and this was my favorite BY FAR! The venue itself was smaller which was wonderful, because no matter where you were you had a perfect view, which made for a much more intimite setting. The musicality of the band was amazing. What most made it the best concert for me was the TALENT of the two men singing and dancing as Michael Jackson. Their vocals were SO spot on that there was no difference in their sound and that of listening to the original artist! And watching their dance moves reminded me that he truly was the King Of Pop in that every artist dancing on MTV these days are still doing moves originating from him 30 years ago! Michael absolutely lived on thru these guys as they had the voice, the moves, even the manurisms down to a "T"!!! WAY TO GO "WHO'S BAD" A TRULY AMAZING JOB!!!

They played a good, long set with all the hits. The dance moves were spot on, it was much better than I even expected. I would definitely go see them again. Only minor annoyance was that the doors opened at 7:00 and they didn't start until 9:00, which was not disclosed on the tickets or venue website.

The concert was to began at 9 and the opener didn't play until 9:30. The Whose bad didn't start playing until 11:30. I think an opener should only play for an hour. By then people were tired and impatient some were booing. The Whose bad had several MJ impersonators who sang a couple of songs each. One was really good but by 1;30 am I was too tired to watch any more.

My friend and I saw these peeps for the first time on Sept. 27,2014 and it was SO much fun! Our MJ for the evening was Mr. Taalib York. He definitely did not disappoint especially on the dance moves. I thought he was nice to look at too. His singing could have been a little bit better on some parts, but i'm NOT complaining about that. It's hard to sound exactly like the real MJ. He sounded REALLY GOOD on Human Nature. Almost exactly like the real MJ does. My ONLY complaints was that they did NOT play Dirty Diana, and that was the one i wanted to see the MOST. That would've brought the hotness level up to like 1,000 degrees, but oh well maybe next time. I hope. Also, the opening band was on for WAY too long. They ended up doing like 4 songs for their ENCORE, that is RIDICULOUS! We did not come there to see the opening band play forever,we came their to see Who's Bad doing MJ songs. Oh well, at least they had a decent drummer, but still played WAY too long! But overall, it was an AWESOME show and we would definitely go see them again!

MJ fan or not, you will love this band. As a group and as individuals, they are just talented and charismatic. The show is packed with alot of energy and movement. Musicians are fanastic, along with lead singer,Taalib his singing and dancing abitlities for me keeps MJ's legacy alive beautifully. So if you had or haven't had the pleasure of seeing the King of Pop himself, then I would recommend Who's Bad as the group to see. They are amazing and alot of fun, so get ready to "Enjoy Yourself" and to "Jam",,,,Kath Marie, Bristol PA
This show was awesome! My daughter and I could have stayed and danced all night to Who's Bad. It really is such a wonderful way to keep his spirit alive. I would see this show over and over and over again. Thank you Who's Bad. Please come back soon :)
The only thing we didn't like is that the show didn't start on time which was supposed to be 8:00 with doors opening at 7:00. Show didn't start until after 9:00!!! Hated that! We should have been informed ahead of time so we didn't have to sit there that long!
This show was amazing, I only rate this show 4 out of 5 stars because the show started almost 1 hour late and we took 7 year old children to the show who grew tired. However, when the show started, the party never stopped!! We had an amazing evening and we are looking forward to seeing them again.
This show was incredible! James who portrays MJ is spot on with his voice, mannerisms and dancing. This is a must see! Thank you James for your talent and dedication to perfection. Thank you and come back soon because we can t wait to see you again!
Hands down an amazing show! The Michael Jackson impersonator was ridiculously amazing! The band alone was phenomenally amazing also! Pure entertainment for all ages and i will be going next year!
This year was the best with only 1 Michael. And the songs were changed up and not as many of michaels long story songs

The Aztec Theater posted the show starting at 8pm, seating at 7pm...without telling ANYONE, except the talent, they started the show at 9pm. Many families got up and left as their children were tired, they were tired of waiting. The show itself was ok. The guy who played Michael Jackson was phenominal, bless his heart, his mic went bad near the end of the show. The other dancers/band were discombobulated. It was ok for listening to the music, but that's about it.

Recently saw "Who's Bad - the MJ Experience" at the Uptown Theatre in Napa. While the Uptown Theatre itself is a great venue, the show was absolutely horrible! In no way was it a first class production at all. The singer was fair, but his back up entourage was totally unprofessional. Only the singer had costumes and they were few and nothing noteworthy. Like something a wannabe would put together. His supporting cast were so unprofessional, just wearing street clothes and dancing all over like a bunch of morons. The entire first half of the show, the singer only sang maybe two of MJ's bigger hits, but none of his mega-hits such as Billie Jean, Man in the Mirror, Black or White, and such. For one song, he invited anyone who wanted to, to come on stage and dance. All the starry-eyed girls ran up on stage and started throwing themselves around. We did not pay to come see girls dance, or to watch a tacky "dance party". We came to hear some good MJ Music, and we really didn't hear any. There were three of us in our party. The music was so loud, we could not even hear each other speak. Music doesn't have to be loud to be good. The three of us collectively decided to leave at half time, before any of the real hits were sung. But we couldn't stand it a minute longer, this show was beyond HORRIBLE. In fact, I would call it an insult to the real Michael Jackson. A joke if you will. A total waste of time and money and a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. A total let down. Don't- Just Don't.

Michael Jackson sadly left us too early. Who's Bad is living proof. Despite a high energy effort and quite good dance moves by the Michael impersonator, the music and sound was a dense mess of deafening bass and average vocals drowned out by the horrible sound mix. The room was small, making the sound mix even worse. Too bad because the act tries hard and Jacksons hits are so recognizable that even thru the noise you can remember what it is supposed to sound like. Who's Bad? The show tries but is proof that once a "once in a lifetime performer" leaves this life you can't bring him back through imitators. Go if you are desperate. Skip the show if you want Jackson to Rest In Peace.

This was my #8 time seeing Who's Bad in 2 1/2 years time. The first seeing them with their new Michael James Times. He was a VERY good dancer! He likes to dress as Michael from the Dangerous Era(while I don't necessarily mind that, the yellow leotard is not my favorite MJ outfit)which he wears through out the show. One of the high lights of the show for me was his performance of Billie Jean. AMAZING! The moves were pretty much spot on! The other Michael in the show Jo Bell wasn't there. I felt like he was missed because he usually sings my favorite MJ song which is Dirty Diana(although James did sing a line or two from that which I appreciated). I felt the show was very good overall and full of energy. Especially from "Michael" and Aaron the saxophone player. I did miss Ray(the former trumpet player)because he would bring the energy as well. I do think James needs a bit more crowd interaction though, but I think maybe that will come with time(he's only been in it for 4 months)so that's okay,i do think if you are an MJ fan you would enjoy this show and have a good time. Plus at the end they come out and take pictures and sign things for people which is nice(you may have to wait a little bit, but they WILL eventually come back lol)I do recommend this show! LOTS of fun!

Honestly just skip it... There are actually 2 performers - one has the moves, and is a pretty good singer. The other just stands there, and sings, and is like a Karaoke. A lot of people did leave, and the concesus around us was it kinda stunk. The dancers were utter gargabe. Band was good. Honestly just skip this event. We walked out of it.

very average performance. production value very low. two performers one a better singer , one better dancer. first half of show songs from not quite popular albums second half better. they did get audience involved. sax player really into it. fun to watch. stage crew a bit of a distraction. overall band did a good job. go to see it for what it is don't expect to be awed. fun anyway.

Show was bad....crew membersbkept coming on stage to speak with drummer....one of the Michaels could not dance and his clothing looked like he just picked it up off the floor and put it on. Would not recommend this show for anyone......Michael Jackson would have been embarrassed by this performance.

This event was a Birthday gift and we didn't know what to expect. Turned out to be a great show, the band and performance really out did themselves. Thank you for a memorable night.

I never got a chance to see MJ in person, but this guy and this band came close. The years of study and practice shine through in spades! An amazing show!

I did not enjoy this show at all. The lead singer did not sing the choruses of the songs, and it drove me insane that they didn't sing the best parts! Just was a huge disappointment. :-(

This show was OK, but I wouldn't go again. There are eight guys. Two - one dancer and trumpet give 110%. All others perform to a high degree. Unfortunately, "Michael" doesn't sing all that well, and can't dance. He looks like Michael - extremely thin. Voice OK, but not up to the job. Also, he was obviously worn out at times during the show. His costumes are pretty poor quality. Show did have good energy and the best part was they make a very good effort to engage the audience. I think I saw this show before when they had another "Michael"....I remember one danced quite well and one sang better. NOTE: if attending Sovereign Performing Arts Center don't waste your money ($25) on the pre-show meal. It was VERY poor. Low quality food, served barely room temperature. No butter for bread, no sugar for coffee. Pathetic.

Overall it was a good show. However, I felt that the band overpowered the lead singer. They were energetic and entertaining.

Their name "Whose Bad" pretty much describes our experience. His band totally drowned out his mediocre voice. His moves did not mimic Michael's. He had no energy. Oh, yes the show was 30 min late starting with no one coming out to let us know what was going on. After a half an hour I was ready to go but we were in the middle of a very long row and I didn't want to climb over all those people. Five minutes later I looked over at my husband and noticed that the whole row to our right had left and 4 ladies in the row behind us were leaving. Yeah, we were out of there, too. What a waste of our limited "going out" money.
11 year old grandson took 61 year old grandmother & we both had a wonderful time!! The quality of the entire band was definitely a tribute to "The king of pop"
I normally don't bother with reviews but I was so upset at this performance and feel I was totally ripped off. There were 2 Michael Jackson performers. The first one was a fantastic dancer but could not sing whatsoever. The second performer could not dance whatsoever and his voice while better than the first performer was not good. The musicians were also terrible. During the first act they had audience members go on stage to dance with them. Such an unprofessional production all around. My husband and I have been to numerous shows all over the country and when I say this was terrible u am being kind in my remarks
The picture used to advertise Who's Bad wasn't anything like what we saw. The two guys that played Michael Jackson weren't anything like him. 1 of the guys was so bad that it was actually embarrassing when he was up there. The reviews on this show must have been falsified because they really got my hopes up that this was going to be a good show so i bought 5 tickets for my family and a friend and i was so embarrassed that i had dragged them all there . These two guys aren't even close to MJ and the two dancers that they had were bad as well. It was more like just going to see a band play while two guys tried to be michael jackson. Very disapointing indeed.
There are 2 wonderful MJ singers. One was an outstanding dancer with a good voice, he did the heavy dancing parts. The other person had MJ's voice exactly, he did the ballads. The band was fantastic, especially the horn section who also doubled as dancers along with the two professional dancers who were also great. It was a very professional performance.
