We have been attending games since the start of the River Cats. Almost everything is been kept up to par over the last 18 years. Unfortunately, we have been very disappointed since they changed from the A's Affiliate to the Giant's Affiliate. We no longer have the time to do the series or mini-series package, so we tend to buy about 6 games a season, and in the last 3 years, only one game has this 'River Cats' won. We were used to having the winning team. We do not see as much 'efforts' made by this group of players. We are not seeing the 'great plays' of our past years. It needs to be 'Interesting' again. We need to see the hustle!

The River Cats acted like spoiled babies. We don t come to the games much but I ve been enough times to know this wasn t their normal behavior. Perhaps the heat was the factor. We left at the 6th inning.

We had a wonderful time watching the Oklahoma Dodgers play the Sacramento Rivercats. We are big Rivercat fans, but also big Dodger fans, so this day we were rooting for the Dodgers and they won! We had a hard time watching the game, though, because our grandson was so cute he took all the attention :)
I had a lot of fun at the game on Friday night. They were playing my team the Fresno Grizzlies so I had to go. I went with my Dad and Little Brother. We got sits behind the visitors dugout and when we got there we went down for Autographs. I got to see and take a picture with my favorite player and he even gave my little brother a bat at the end of the game. It was great. They also had fireworks at the end which were great!! My family had a great time and cant wait for the grizzlies to come back to town!!

So it's July 3rd, no home game on the 4th. We (on a first date) start with hotdogs and a cold cup of beer. We are on the sunny side of the field and "bag" the waning rays of sun. It's not too hot, and not too cold. The stadium is clean well designed, the seats are easy to find and there isn't a bad seat in the "house". Everyone was friendly, even though I knew no one. We had the opportunity to watch the home team play a good game and win, few mental errors and even fewer physical errors. (I'm a High School Baseball Coach, so at least I'd like to think I know something about the game) How could that be topped, other than with a first kiss, and the fireworks following the game, to celebrate freedom. What better way to spend the day, it's "all-American" So maybe I didn't get the apple pie but the kiss had to have been just as sweet!!!!

The RiverCats did an excellent job entertaining the baseball fan with a victory and their play on the field. From the managing of the players to men on base, DeFrancisco (sp) handled the team like a Major League Manager. The only Minor League aspect of the game was the constant unnecessary desire to have the organ, music, snippets of audio between EVERY PITCH. Let the ballgame tell the story. Do we all need that extra entertainment? If the ballclub is winning, the fans are entertained or at least should be. If they're not, so be it. It was to the point of annoyance. Maybe there's a night where they five the audio engineer a night off. I'll attend that game.

We had a great time at the game, even though the people in our row seemed to have problems with their bladders and needed to seek relief at a higher than normal rate, compared to the other rows around us. We were cheering for the River Cats, but there seemed to be a large number of Fresno Grizzlies fans (San Francisco Giants' Farm Team), which was a little bit of a buzz kill. For a holiday weekend, and sell-out, the crowd seemed quieter than I have experienced in the past.

Excellent match-up between the 1st & 2nd place teams. Lots of faces fresh from "The Show", reflected in the Major League caliber of the sparkling Plays made. Awesome post-game fireworks display. True Americana at its finest. Perfect Birthday Party for the USA. The Rivercat games are THE best entertainment value in the Sacramento & adjoining areas.

This was such a fun evening. The Cats played well, including pitching out of not one, but two bases loaded and no outs for the Grizzlies and won 3-1. The firework display was wonderful and the ballgame was exciting however we were not happy with the guest services representive coming down and standing at the bottom of our section and blocking our view for every special activity in between innings. Very frustrating, we thought by sitting down in the second row of the ballpark that our view of the activities would be unabstructive. From now on we will purchase less expressive seats for a unabstructive view.

We had a great time at this event. The game was well played by both teams, the lawn seating was clean and really nice for our kids. The fireworks after the game were amazing. A great night. The only setback was trying to get through the lawn crowd to take kids to the restroom or make a snack run. Not much you can do about that though.

I've been to a lot of minor league ballparks, and Raley's Field is the best. Not a bad seat anywhere. And even in the hot summer, being located facing the river allows for the cool breezes to flow through the park. Good food at fair prices and the fact that they now affiliated with the SF Giants is just the icing on the cake. Nice job, Management! ( LOL. I bet you don't see that written very often, huh?)

Not to be a spoiler, but the RIVERCATS WON on Friday, April 27th. We had a great time. Getting there early for a tour appointment with Peyton we had the first spot for parking. Our seats were in Section 116 Row 2 Seats 7 & 8. Great seats! I guess it's called the Governors Section so you get to go up to the Solon Club if you want. Nice perk. I think the tickets were 2 for $98 or somewhere in that range. I was able to see Hunter Pence up close enough to talk to him. He was there rehabbing before going back to the Giants. It was pretty cool once the sun went down I'm glad I had brought a coat. It wasn't enough though I needed a blanket. I need to buy a Rivercats blanket. The next time I go I'll have to check the prices at the On Deck Store. It was a great night out and fireworks too!!

Had Rivercats best seats you can get on Row 1, Sec 108. The Smokehouse BBQ was awful!!!!! Frozen premade burger, limp hot dogs, no smoke taste - not worth the cost, certainly not any smoke! Food at the wait service available for our Row was ridiculously expensive and very slow - never again! They add 18% on making a $10 drink and a water cost $17, without the TIP! Worst Margarita I've ever had. The fries are excellent, though. The game was slow and not much action, we lost, but ticket price for these seats was appropriate.

Was very excited about seeing my first ballgame of the new season on Friday night. Sadly, Mother Nature had other plans and the game was called on account of rain after just half of the first inning. The game was called at 9:00 PM, so about 2 hours after it started. However, they did go ahead and launch fireworks, so that helped. Now I have a raincheck to go see another game. Maybe next week...

I'm no stranger to the rivercats, nor to Minor League Baseball. Honestly I'd much rather go see minor league played in the majors for a lot of reasons. One of the reasons is that the players really give a damn, and the fans are seriously loyal. Also where else in the world can you get a seat behind home plate for thirty bucks and have a really enjoyable time with your family close to home? If you're considering buying a ticket here you are definitely making the right decision. The rivercats are phenomenal team the Rainiers who saw him play against was also a phenomenal team just a great time overall.

This is a great venue with a well-stocked gift store. In addition to great seats for watching the game, there's always something else going on. We were able to bid on Los Gatos del Rio jerseys and we both won! Only one of us received our certificate of authenticity... hopefully she can pick it up at a later date. We were escorted on the field and each winning bidder was presented their jersey by the player who wore it. Though the Rivers Cats lost, we had a great time and we'll be back again soon.

Next time seats on the 3rd base side, maybe 1st to 5th rows down from the concessions because we left our 7 rows behind home plate seats in the 4th inning. Opening night. 1-0 Getting to the stadium was no problem until you pulled off the freeway. Jammed cars and trucks slowed traffic to a crawl with cars cutting off each other in a hurry to see opening pitch. While crossing the bridge drivers were informed that parking had all been filled up already and none was left, "Your on your own". "What about the "free". So we drove on fending for our selves missing opening pitch. History was made this night in Old Town Sacramento with fans being treated to , "Bam stix", While those are fun items, something in the line of a hat pin or something that was Memorabilia, would have been killer. So I grabbed a schedule instead. I felt short cheated.

Excellent weather for opening day. The field looked incredible and the event was well organized (as usual). It was a slow start as the pitchers worked to find their groove. There were many hits resulting in the crowd earning many free balls. Of course I ordered a dinger dog which was wonderfully delivered to me at my seat. Unfortunately it didn't come with any condiments. We visited the Solon club for a few innings a really enjoyed the view! Fun place to hang out. I actually was interviewed by channel 3 and that was very cool. Overall I love our boys of summer and our stadium is beautiful. Seats on the grass are just as good if you want to bring a blanket. Definately need a sweatshirt at night. It chills down and it happens quickly. Exiting the parking lot was a horrific experience. Signage would be nice. Next time we'll Uber in or use lightrail.

The ball game was very good, and a lot of fun to watch. I enjoyed each inning, the musical cheers, fireworks and the entertainment segments, giveaways, etc... it was a very warm day and would have chosen seats closer to the top of the stadium had I thought about that sooner, but over all the day was sunny and nice. It was my foster son's 13th birthday, and no matter how hard he tried to get a ball or some other game prize it didn't work out and he ended up feeling very disappointed. I bought him a souvenir soda cup to appease his frustration- especially since the home team lost!

Attending a River Cats game at Raley Field is a must-do for anyone in the area - baseball fan or not, River Cats/Oakland A's [the River Cats big-league affiliate] fan or not. Ticket and food prices are very reasonable (which makes it a good family event), Raley Field is a beautiful, clean venue with an excellent view of the Sacramento skyline, the fans are well-behaved, there's fireworks every Friday and Saturday night, and the level of baseball is top-notch. A great, cheap way to experience the best of the American pastime.

I've been to the River Cats many times and typically enjoy this team and field very much. I had great seats right on the 3rd baseline and row 2; however, it had been raining the whole day. Our seats were wet from the rain which kept coming the whole time we were there. This was my childrens first experience at a real baseball game but they were too cold and wet to enjoy it. We finally had to leave in the 5th inning because their little fingers were just too cold. Disappointed in this visit.

We had a wonderful time at the River Cats Game. I had 95% of my family there and some friends. It was kind of futuristic having stormtroopers running around the stadium. I was not expecting the professional uniforms. Raley field hit a homerun with this event. I love bringing my 4 yr old to the games. This was his 6th game since age 2.

I love going to Raley Field and seeing the River Cats. I love it that each night is something special. The night we went was "Throwback" night. The grounds crew dressed up in 1920's costumes, the team wore their name from that time, even the crew at the snack shops had name tags of classic ball players ("Ty Cobb, MIckey Mantel). The weather was perfect. Didn't even need a sweater! Easy to park, good food selection (although a tad pricey but that is the way of the world), each seat has a cub holder and every seat has a perfect view. Let's Go River Cats!

The weather was perfect, lots of entertainment, good seats at a decent price, good food but pricey (not surprised) but $5 for a Coke? Really? Had a great time relaxing and enjoying some good baseball.

Opening day was a lil cloudy and cool but, I really wanted to go and take my gf while she was in town. Bought my tickets online that day and picked em up at will call. Easy weazy lemon squeezy. Had a great time as usual and every seat is a good one!

River Cat (Raley Field, Sacramento) played against LV 51s, which this year is affiliated for the first time with the NY Mets. I lived in NY for 25 years, grew up watching the Mets. I was very much awed by the experience at the AAA ballpark with the friendly environment, and ability to watch and chat with players, managers up close and personal. And can't beat the price. Had a Great Time!

Team does not look to be in championship form for this second game of the season. Team looks great on paper but not on the field. Basic fundamentals need to be worked on if they are to contend for another championship.

River Cats are winners and great Baseball. I find it better then the Giants or A's. I have a good baseball back ground with a Dad that turned down the Cleveland Indians in the late 40's and is in three Hall of Fames too include the Northern California Hall and the La Sale club HOF. Johnny McNamara and his brother and family very good friends. Johnny was Manager of the 1986 Boston Red Sox he also managed the A's,Red's and Angels. Another good friend Ronny King National and American league Scout of the year and has 6 World Series rings with teams he scouted for. He scouted for Pittsburg,LA Dodgers and a few others. These are just a couple of baseball pro my Dad knows. My Dad was a winner with his team beating the Canadians in the International World Series of 1946. As you can see we like good baseball and the River Cats are just that.

River Cats gave a great performance all the way til the last inning, we we're on the edge of our seats. Even though they lost the game it still was well worth going to see such a moving game. With all that said my grandson was lucky enough to get one of the foul balls hit in the stands on the 3rd base line.

We puchased tickets for july 3rd and it came with a bbq package and a senate ticket. It was a good deal for the price we got a buffet style bbq. The food alone for the amount we got probably would have been $12-15 per person. Our seats were awesome as well. We were right behind home plate. Fair warning. If you sit here be aware of fly balls. This is a common zone for them to fly. The after firework show was great too. I definitely recommend the bbq ticket package for next year

We had great seats and spent a portion of our time in the Solon Club. Although the River Cats did not win, the evening was loaded with fun, food, drinks, surrounded by the All American Sport of Baseball AND on a warm summer Sacramento evening. Not much better than that!

What an exciting game for me and my friends. The first inning was a bonanza with a Grand Slam Home Room for the Cats 4-0. Than a 2 run Homer to make it 6-0. A Grand Slam and a Shut out all in the same game was exciting and will be unforgettable to me. The game last night was incredible 12 innings 1-1 two outs, 2 balls two strikes and a low flying home run to left field by the Catcher is extraordinary. The only bad thing about the night game on Thursday it got windy and cold. LOVE THE RIVERCATS - GO CATS TO THE DIVISION AND CHAMPIONSHIP. Cooperalvanguard and friends

Another balmy night at the ballpark. Brief breezes cut down on the heat of the evening. Lots of action on the field including a couple of home runs. We changed seats a few times to get away from obnoxious fans. AAA ball is not as intense as Major League games. Guess that's what attracts the "family" crowd. Workers at the park are very friendly...not so much congeniality from the concession workers. All in all a nice night.

My husband and I attended Fin Fest prior to the game. The band was great, the margaritas were ice-cold, and the hotdogs were yummy. The game was fun; I enjoyed the between inning entertainment - especially the groundskeepers dancing!!

What a perfect night at Raley Field. The backdrop of the city of Sacramento became more and more dramatic as the hours went by. The River Cats were great performers this night. The pitching was great. They showed us a double play, two home runs and two stand-up doubles. The fans were all in good spirits. At the end of the game, we were treated to a fireworks display. This came as a surprise to us...an exciting, unplanned end to a wonderful evening.

Wow, where to start! Parking: the powers that be know how many parking passes that have been sold for a game. How can the parking be full before the game has started? We had to use Valet Parking. Once in the stadium, a bright spot is the TriTip Cart. Great Food, good service. As opposed to the standard food service vendors -- how can it be acceptable to spend 21/2 innings to purchase 1 large soft drink? In that same vein, we are essentially at the All Star break (or mid-term) The staff has no idea how to use the food vouchers! Why isn't that essentially the same as money, credit card... Now to the actual game; What happened to the team? Are you simply unable to secure players who can compete at the league level? We have seen 6 games at the stadium, only once was the score even close. It is hard to believe we were once conference champs for multiple years. I see your staff is going through the motions of engaging with the public, however, just putting in the bare minimum isn't working. I have been with the River Cats since the first game. The ushers are all but non-existent -- when they are visible, they are clumped together visiting. Dinger was known to be available to everyone -- now he shows-up for the between innings antics. Is this coming from the top down or does management even walk through the park with a game in session? Except for July 03rd the attendance has been gone. How are you going to keep this team, with the above issues --- because I was here when Tuesday's attendance was the norm. A River Cat Fan
