I had a great time. This was the first time my kids went to a comedy show and I wanted this experience to be at your venue. We all had a good time.

Steve white was great !! Craig was not funny and seemed like he was more about that keyboard then spitting funny material. Huge waste of money

Craig Robinson is a funny guy, but catch the early show when he hasnt been drinking so much. We caught a late show, and he had obviously been drinking. Of course it didnt help that he had four drinks onstage. The show started out funny, but by the end he was rambling and having a hard time standing up. Kind of a shame because I've seen him when he's on point and it's hilarious.

Cobbs is a great comedy club I've seen multiple acts there and have always enjoyed myself. The opening acts were just okay nothing special. The main act Craig Robinson was a huge disappointment. I knew he would sing and play the piano but that's all he did. Where was the jokes. I wanted to laugh not listen to R&B song from the 90's. I've had more fun at a dueling piano bar listing to songs I didn't even know. Craig you got to do better.

It was Craig playing the keyboard. Not standup. His featured act did comedy and was pretty good. Craig acted in a funny way playing the keyboard and singing. He is a talented musician but we paid a lot to watch standup comedy. We go to 6 comedy shows a year in different cities and were disappointed. 35 plus 2 drink minimum is certainly on the higher end than most clubs around and we didn't get standup.

Unique comedy experience. He was on the keyboard the entire time making us laugh until I shit myself! Diarrhea everywhere! Shot it through a screen door!

I was expecting a solid stand up comedy routine but instead got a sing-a-long show from Craig Robinson....I was still waiting for the show to start and before I knew it it had ended. Very disappointed with this performance. The opener was good, but I am still very angry that I paid $45 to watch the headliner perform karaoke for the crowd for an hour.

First of all, the back up comedian was brilliant. Then Craig, who I had heard bad reviews about, was very enjoyable, at times hilarious and overall very entertaining. The keyboard was maybe at times a bit loud but other than that I would recommend!

Let me preface this review by saying that I have been a huge fan of Craig Robinson's work on "The Office," "Knocked Up," "Hot Tub Time Machine," etc. I'd never seen him live and my buddy and I were very excited about this show. Knowing his musical background, I expected there'd be some time with him singing at the keyboard, perhaps mixed in with some stand up material at the mic or storytelling while sitting at the keyboard. Boy was I disappointed! The ENTIRE show is one long sing along with him playing/singing songs and asking the audience to participate. Him working the line "Take your panties off" into every song was funny the first few times but soon became tedious. Sorry, Craig, I didn't pay $40+ to help you with the performance. I am expecting you to entertain me or at least engage me in some way with jokes, funny stories, anything that remotely resembles comedy. It seemed like at times he was on auto pilot , including a keyboard rendition of the National Anthem in its entirety. If Craig Robinson was hosting/DJing at a party I would have been thrilled with the evening. However, as a performer at a comedy club that I was paying good money to see I was not impressed with him at all. I'm still a huge fan of his movies and will check out his new TV show this fall. But paying to see Craig Robinson perform in person? Never again.

Laughed and sang all the way through. Love the keyboard action and the song selection Craig puts into his act. This was my second time seeing Craig live and I will see him again when he comes back!

I would recommend not having the band play while Craig is talking. Very hard to understand what he was saying over the music.

Craig Robinson was extremely funny and the band was one of the BEST funk bands I've ever heard! Would recommend and would go see them again! Since it was Illinois State University Family Weekend, his stuff about sex was a bit awkward sitting with your college student. Otherwise, it was GREAT!!

The comedy act prior to Craig Robinson coming out was to die for, we all laughed so hard we cried. Craig got the crowd roaring and even joined the audience. Very memorable evening.

I found this performance painful to sit through and for the price of 40.00 a ticket I felt robbed of that! . It was family weekend at Illinois State and my son wanted to go. I also had my Mother & Sister & a Friend with me who also thought it was awful. None of us could figure out what he was trying to do. It wasn't stand-up comedy. It wasn't all song. What was it? He tried to pull from the audience to make us the show and that didn't work either. I'm not sure if this is something he always does or if ISU just asked him to throw something together but if I were him I would stick to TV & Movies which he is great in!

Craig Robinson came to Helium, a small comedy club in Philadelphia and completely bombed! He "sang" with his band on the stage the ENTIRE SHOW and was not funny at all. He did NO STANDUP and most the audience walked out before it was over. He was embarrassingly bad. Please dod not buy tickets to his show. You will be very disappointed. It was almost as if he was entertaining himself by singing with the band which nobody wanted to see or hear.

Jazz. Funk. Comedy. What more can you ask for? Bring your best because Craig will demand it! This show was a big surprise to use not knowing what we were in for at the time of purchase. So glad we did it though. Very original. Band was outstanding. Comedy was great! If you are a fan of Craig Robinson then don't miss this show!

Easily the worst comedian I've ever seen. I went in with high hopes seeing him tonight, but his three openers were better than him! It was basically like being at a party and some horny guy gets drunk and won't stop playing outdated songs on the keyboard and occasionally cracking a joke that falls flat. If I was at that party, I'd move to another room. I ended up leaving the show early and quite a few other people did too. Don't waste your money or night, I'm sad I wasted my birthday and money seeing him.

Craig robinson does not have new content. I saw him 3 years ago at the Punchline and thought he was funny. Decided to buy tickets thinking he would have new content but HE DID NOT!! HE did literally THE SAME SHOW he did 3 YEARS AGO. He literally just played the piano singing old songs. One lady even shouted out "Wheres the comedy!" and he replied " I Already got your money.. smh So dissapointed. Myself and other people walked out mid Show. Not worth my money and staying up late.

opening acts were great. Craig was good to but there was a lot of singing and i would have preferred to hear more comedy. Many others felt the same and some voiced their opinion during the show. Openers made this show worth going to.

If you have not seen this man do standup, just go! I have never had so much fun at a comedy show. Super audience involved and just all around good vibes. If I had panties they would have come off! (you'll understand that when you see him). Thank you Craig for an epic night of laughter

This show was very good. Craig is charming, crowd work was hilarious, his openers were funny as hell. I saw some review that actually complained the show was long? What kind of wet blanket complains about getting more than your money's worth? Met Craig after the show and he was cool and hung out with everyone. Really enjoyed it. Would totally see him again.

This show actually consisted of three acts - two other comedians who had sets before Craig. The second comedian's set was way too long. 15 minutes would have been enough Craig's set was too long and rambling as well. It have been shortened by 15 minutes. I left at 11:15 and many people seated in front of me left early, too.

Opening comic was pretty good, second comic came across as very arrogant. Craig Robinson was decent, his band is average at best, and audience was obnoxious/yelling out random things the whole time.

I have seen plenty of artist do the comedy, keyboard thing... but this is just not refined. There are periods were he goes far too long without a joke... he is a mediocre player which is okay if you are telling jokes but the sound was bad... And how is electronic keyboard allowing a sound setting that reads "out of tune"? I get what he is going for but either he is waisted when he comes out, or just crazy.

There was NO standup, just him and his keyboard. I felt like I was at a piano bar. If I wanted a piano bar experience I would have went to SingSing. My party and I left early we were so disgusted and many other people did too. A random woman grabbed us outside and asked us if that truly was the worst show we ever saw and we agreed. Craig is very funny and had high expectations for this show and sad to say, we were greatly disappointed. T-Rexx, the opening act was good, I would have paid to see him the whole time.

complete waste of time, he never even did any stand-up. He sang weird 80s karaoke the entire time. We kept hoping he would stop and start telling jokes, but he NEVER did. We ended leaving early after we saw a bunch of other people get up and leave. So disappointed, we thought he would be hilarious. It should of turned into his intervention, at least that would of been more entertaining.

I saw the Spokane WA show. Opening act was ok. But Craig, so awful, I was looking forward to the show too, because his lines in most films are a positive laughing experience. His stage comedy is maybe for teenagers? I'm in my twenties and it was depressing, sadly terrible, unfunny. At one point he insulted an audience member. Now I have been to many comedy shows, when insults and playful truth with the audience is appropriate and mutually understood, you can tell. His was not mutual. Also where were the jokes? Are we all just babbling pointless human beings? Craigs comedy is one of the reasons why other countries despise americans.

Craig seemed drunk or high and he totally sucked. His opening comedian, Todd Rex, was very funny and should have been the headliner. If you want to sing along and listen to Craig improvise, see him. If you want to see an actual stand-up comedian, pass on this show.

If I had realized this show was mostly Craig playing random songs on his piano and not actually telling jokes, I would not have bought tickets to see him. Like other reviewers said, he was definitely high, and sadly the opening acts were much funnier. He had no energy...people were literally falling asleep.

In a nutshell, the MC was the funniest of them all. And he wasn't very funny. Craigs opening act, a self described lesbian feminist, who's main act was to contradict her self label, was boring, arrogant and annoying to sit through. From the first moment, Craig seemed drunk or high. Struggling to find words, his delivery was slow and delayed. Almost to the point where you would think it was part of the act. But it wasn't. I heard other laughing at how high he must have been. He seemed to get his flow going from time to time, but then he would stumble and have to start over. Stand-Up comedy is one of my favorite things. In the 15 years I've been attending different shows, I've only walked out of a show once. This would have been the second. My date and I were boxed in upstairs next to the balcony, so we couldn't walk out with out being rude and making a big deal out of it.

Disappointing, This would be the first negative review that I have written. It appeared that Criag really has no act - he just shows up and goes totally improve. I was really bad -- I kept waiting for it to get better and then after an hour into it - left with the four others who came with me. I've always enjoyed going to comedy shows in SF - this show, (not comedy), was a major fail....
