As usual, Bill Gaither puts together a great group of entertainers for this year's Christmas Homecoming. Mark Lowry and David Phelps are my personal favorites and I was glad to see them both at this event this year. I had seen David Phelps in his Christmas concert earlier in the week. Neither of these two ever disappoint. The new members of the Gaither Vocal Band are absolutely phenominal. Todd Suttles...what a range this man has and the voice of an angel. Adam Crabb was fantastic. Have seen the Crabb family in other venues, but this is the first time I think I've actually heard Adam sing and he is amazing. Loved everything about the night and the event.

The Gaither Christmas Homecoming at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham Alabama on Dec. 11, 2015 was what I expected and more, however the "more" wasn't so pleasant. The show itself was spectacular, including the Vocal band's music, and the additional Homecoming Music Guests, but my seats were on the arena floor 17 rows from the stage, and the chairs were all extremely too close. The big gentleman next to me was practically laying on my shoulder, and I happened to notice that was the situation for many...touching shoulder to shoulder for all that were sitting on the Arena floor area in chairs. Overlooking the misery, I did leave there with a wonderful Christmas musical experience in my heart!

It was a Saturday night and my lovely wife and I had a date to go to ths homecoming it was our first one we had tickets that were up to high so after the first song I went down and upgraded my tickets they had two more on the floor and ten rows back I know the Lord was with me! So I bought them, then I went to tell my wife and we moved down to the most fantastic time together at a concert we have ever had. We can't wait till next year because we are coming back .

I always enjoy the Gaither, they are one of my favorite groups, I go and see there show every time they come to Fairfax, VA, and I also go and see them in Myrtle Beach, There were not as many groups as past years, but it was still a great show, no complaints.

Bill Gaither is the Bruce Springsteen of Gospel music! 4 hours long was this awesome consert!!!!!!! It was my first concert. We have Country Christmas and Amazing Grace and watch them over and over, but to be there in person, so wonderful!!! We're already booking a hotel for Myrtle Beach in Oct!!!!! Couldn't have been better!!!

We've been to many of the Gaither's events but this show was especially good! A lot of thought went into making it entertaining for the silver haired crowd as well as those of us who learned to love the Gaither's music through our parents. Fabulous special effects! Our group also loved the fact that it wasn't kept to just Christmas music. The Gospel was beautifully presented throughout. ~ Kudos to a superb production team! Can't wait to go back!

I have been going to Gaither Concerts for many years. This one was clearly one of the best I have ever attended. I continue to be amazed by the quality of the production and the fact that the performers seem to have limitless energy. The program lasts almost 4 hours. The time goes by so very quickly and no one is ready to leave at the end. Bill Gathier and the people he brings together bless us all. I highly recommend this experience for everyone.

When was the last time you went to a concert and were entertained for nearly 4 HOURS!!! Yes these folks went on at 6:00 Pm and ,except a short intermission, sang until almost 10:00 pm. Music was awesome and the show was really fun. Check this one out!

It was my first time seeing the Gaither Vocal Band and other gospel artists in person. I have bought cd's and viewed many of the artists on youtube, but being there in person made the experience much more enjoyable. I will go again the next time they are in the area. The humorous aspects of the concert proved how Christianity is that a humorless way of life, and they proved how this type of humor is much more rewarding than the crude humor shown by many comedians.

This was our first Gaither Homecoming event ever but definitely hope it is not the last. It was truly great. Mark Lowry and Kevin Williams kept you laughing the whole time. Great singers. It was just truly awesome. We expected 2 - 2 1/2 hours of concert and received 4 hours. It was well worth the price we paid and then some. It was everything you would expect it to be. The taped shows are awesome to watch but being there in person to see such great performance is way beyond words. Had a blessed time and so glad we got to go & be a part of this Gaither Christmas Homecoming.

This was the first time we've seen Bill Gaither live. It was over 3 hours of entertainment. My family loved the concert and are still talking about it. The musicians were outstanding. I was shocked to see the lineup he had. Especially with the Martins and The Isaacs. 2 of my favorite singing groups from the Gaither Homecoming "family". We enjoyed the entire concert but loved the 2nd half of the show when they played/sang the Christmas songs.

I went with three dear ladies from my church. The ride to Charleston was filled with excitement. We were not disappointed, as the entire program was five star!!!! Real testimonies tugged at the heart and made me thankful for my life and it's challenges. The respect and love for all of the entertainers was apparent.They all displayed the desire to spread the good news of God. I loved the variety of the styles of music. Music that either had me tapping to the beat or pondering where am I really in my walk with the Lord. I did not want it to end and hope I will be able to see them again. Anyone who has not been to a Homecoming show, I highly reccomend you go.

Concert billed as Christmas. It wasn't until the second half that Christmas appeared. Also, do you really need to promote your cd's at the Christmas concert, audience knew where the tables were, you had to walk by them. Traffic was horible, Charleston can't handle a crowd, so sad.

The Gaither Homecoming Family rolled in to Fort Wayne, Indiana for their 2014 Christmas Concert. With a lineup of musical awesomeness that included Kevin Williams, The Martins, The Isaacs, Gene McDonald, Charlotte Ritchey, Mark Lowry and the fabulous Gaither Vocal Band, this concert was The BEST! The concert lasted over three hours, Round One with each individual artist performing before an intermission and Round Two featuring different combinations of artists from different groups making some great configurations and superb music! A great event with wonderful music, a great venue and Christmas Blessings!

Growing up, my best friend's family was full of old country musicians and all family gatherings were full of gospel and blue grass music and dancing. I feel so blessed to have been able to participate in those gatherings growing up, and the show brought back so many happy memories. In fact, we surprised my best friend by taking her and her parents to that show to celebrate her birthday. I even managed to get her a happy birthday wish from David Phelps, her favorite vocalist! We all had a great time!

First of all, the Gaither Vocal Band was excellent. I watch the Gaither show on TV all the time and, of course, they are much better in person. I was a little disappointed in the fact that Ticketmaster showed David Phelps in the picture even though he wasn't part of the group. The venue was horrible. The parking was horrible, the ticket taking process was horrible, the number of bathrooms was horrible, and the basic crowd management could have been done a lot better. In spite of that, we loved the show.

First time hearing the Gaither Vocal Band live. Have performed their songs before. This show was amazing. They started early; performed for over three hours. Many, many varied performers. Inspirational, funny, moving. The whole show seemed so laid back and almost impromptu like "let's sing this one"; yet you know they've rehearsed to perfection. A great family event.

Gaither presentation was professional as always, but if you missed the Worship element, you weren't breathing. I wish I could come away from a Sunday morning church service with the same gratification. Thank you, Gaither team! One side note; I wish Lynda Randle had sung one more complete song. In the past few weeks, we have seen T.S.O.?,Mannheim Steamroller, and the Gaither Christmas Event. This, by far ,was the most rewarding and pleasurable one of all. The venue was a little difficult to get into because of the traffic and congestion. The parking lot is also very small compared to the amount of people attending. The show was absolutely wonderful! One of the best concerts I ve ever been to!

If you ever have the opportunity to go to a Gaither concert, run, don't walk to one! It's totally amazing and a more lifting, inspiring concert you will never go to.

Concert itself was great and awesome! Could not have been any better. Such a blessing. Only problems were getting into the parking garage at the venue because of heavy,heavy traffic and finding our seat in the civic center. That took a little time but everything else was excellent.

It was a wonderful show filled with both new and old music. I would have preferred a little more Christmas music since that was supposed to be the theme. I loved the interweaving of music from many of the past singer and honoring of all the greats that have passed. For many people it helped when they explained the connection between families and the new performers and the older ones like Jake Hess and his daughter and granddaughter. Most wouldn't have made the connection.

It was a great show! I loved the Martin's and Issac's the best. It was a great honored to get to see Mr Gaither I have wanted to see him for so many years. I enjoyed the song 'The Promise" the most . the comedy that sang was great too... it was a barrel of laughs and a great voice too. Merry Christmas All come back and see again remember almost heaven West Virginia . Thank you

What a beautiful and moving experience! Walking in, we thought we were the odd ducks, being relatively young. Most of the folks going in were older. We brought our kids with us and they too asked "Are we the youngest ones here?" - But were we in for a real treat!! The music was uplifting, moving, and beautiful! Bill Gaither does not disappoint! The music was fab, the comedy was hilarious! Even my kids were laughing so hard they had tears! The best part was the praising of God through testimony, song, and uplifting hands. What a beautiful night that I won't soon forget! If you have the opportunity, go! We sat down close to the artists - so, we had a great view close to everyone. It was fantastic!

The whole performance was absolutely amazing! The talent of each and everyone of the singers was a true blessing. The Petersen Event Center was a wonderful venue except there are DEFINITELY not enough restrooms!!!!

Old favorites and newer numbers showcased moving solos and tremendous harmonies. Ok, you have to like gospel music, but this gang knows how to put on a show. Good humor spread throughout, and a great segment with Mark Lowrey. He had this crowd laughing and making it hard to breathe sometimes. The Gaither Vocal Band was on the mark and the other talent showed musical skill and brought the audience to their feet twice.

The Gaither show was wonderful, as it always is!!! However, with the location at the Peterson, the parking was not good. I saw many older folks struggling just to get inside the facility.
