WOW! From the opening song to the closing, we were blown away by this show. Tony Vincent brought the music of Bowie to life and had great anecdotes and stories that make you feel a better understanding for Bowie himself and the music he recorded. Vincent really personifies Bowie for the time you are with him. Incredible. We were thoroughly impressed and loved every minute. We knew every song and sang along. My only complaint is that I wish the crowd had been a little more vibrant... there were moments of "life" but I guess that is to be expected in a Symphony environment. Overall, what an amazing show-- a MUST SEE for any fans of David Bowie!

Seeing Harry Potter alongside the symphony and a small chorus was the most magical and amazing way to see it. As a former musician in my younger years, I was thrilled to see which instruments played what parts and especially the flutes. It made me want to pick up a flute and get the music to play again. I cannot wait until the Chamber of Secrets performance in May and the rest along the way as well.

Such a great show! It really made the movie come alive. I would recommend it to anyone!

The Nashville Symphony Orchestra was beautiful. Such a great experience! The music overwhelming and went along perfectly with the movie. Would definitely like to come again and would definitely recommend this to friends!

The band was very good, the orchestra was superb and the venue was spectacular. My one recommendation would be more songs with the vocals and the orchestra taking front stage so less guitar and drum - except for obvious songs that must have their influence.

I bought tickets expecting to hear the symphony play U2 songs. Instead what we heard was a cheesy U2 cover band that drowned out the symphony so you could only hear the drums and the singer. Very disappointed. The singer was annoying (though admittingly in tune) and the mixing was off - the band was too loud and I could only hear the strings on one song.

What a wonderful night with the Nashville Symphony and Windborne! I was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how much fun this concert was. The symphony was amazing and the rock band, Windborne, gave an amazing performance. Staying true to the original music, we were all able to sing along with the great music of U2. I will be looking for other opportunities to see them as they also cover other rock bands. Thanks Nashville Symphony for having them.

This is in no way a reflection of the Nashville Symphony. I blame myself for not doing more research first, but I just saw a Ticketmaster notification that the Nashville Symphony was doing the music of U2, and got so excited, I bought our tickets the very minute they went on sale. I assumed I'd spend the evening enjoying the Nashville Symphony doing a tribute to my favorite band, being moved by emotional, instrumental arrangements of U2 music. Instead, I paid $160 for two tickets to see a U2 cover band, with the symphony backing them up. And sadly, I couldn't hear much of the symphony because the guitars, drums, and vocalist were too loud in comparison. The rest of the crowd seemed to have a blast, and the musicians were talented, but it just wasn't at all what I thought I had paid for. Most of the time, I felt like I was watching a show on a cruise ship. Had it been noted from the beginning that there was a vocalist, I never would have bought tickets in the first place. He wasn't bad, I just personally don't want to hear anyone else singing these songs. I've seen U2 in concert 45 times, including 8 times this summer. All this did was make me wish I'd put that $160 toward another actual U2 concert instead. I would give anything if the symphony would do U2 music again, on their own. I'd definitely be there. But I don't ever want to see this show again.

I was took on a trip back to my childhood and it was fantastic! Please do more of this in Nashville!

The event was so enjoyable, having Priscilla come to the event was a bonus. The conductor was impressive

The symphony, the music of Prince, and a performer that looked, acted and sounded like the real deal = a spectacular night! The audience was all smiles, dancing and singing our hearts out. It was a big hit for my family, including my two children.

The venue was gorgeous, the staff very helpful, our seats were incredible and the orchestra was PHENOMENAL! We can't wait to go back for the other showings of the films!

This was our first time, and it was super! The music was mind blowing - so many goose bumps!!! We will attend again- hopefully soon! We drove two hours, and it was worth it!!!

My wife and I went for the Saturday showing of "Star Wars: A New Hope" (7/7/2018) and was over-joyed with the setup and performance of the symphony. At times the music was so perfectly blended you forgot you were at the Schermerhorn and listening to a live symphony. It was clear the conductor had worked with an event like this many times before and the symphony along with him. I would highly recommend (and did) seeing any showing of a movie at the Schermerhorn in the future. I know I will return.

Great music, great venue, great vocalist. Only recommendation move the people with chairs behind the people sitting on the ground.

This was my first trip to Nashville. I came to see Violins of Hope and share the experience with a friend. The Schermerhorn Symphony Center is impressive with wonderful acoustics and excellent sight lines. We attended the pre-concert event which was informative and made the whole concert more enjoyable. Nashville has a wonderful orchestra and if possible I shall return in the future to enjoy another concert. The Violins of Hope is a tribute to the millions who lost their lives during one of the darkest times in World History. Thank you for allowing me to share in this historical musical event!!

My daughter and her friend very much enjoyed this Harry Potter concert. I know there will be future Harry Potter concerts that she will attend.

My daughter and I LOVE the symphony and LOVE Harry Potter, so this event had our names all over it! We were not disappointed! Our seats were excellent, the sound was fantastic--we even bought t-shirts in the lobby! We are so very excited for these kinds of events provided by the Nashville Symphony. Thank you for the experience!

I m not a big orchestra person, but this was incredible. Kinda makes you feel like you are part of the movie. Will definitely be back for the next movie.

Wow! My girlfriend and I went to show - loved it! The orchestra was amazing for a classic movie. We really loved the piano, trumpet player and the conductor too! But the whole Nashville Symphony was amazing in this awesome show! Go see it, everyone!

La La Land at the Nashville Symphony was a beautiful experience. Definitely the best way to watch that movie (or any movie). I loved it.

Our E.T. experience was absolutely magical! The live score brought the motion picture to life and brought us back to our childhood. Our hearts are warmed and the music is still playing in our heads. Most certainly an experience of a lifetime. So beautiful! Out of this world! ;)

My wife and I had a lovely evening. Well put together and the entire event was a joy. It is always nice to leave an event telling each other how much fun that was. Thank you all for a great treat of wonderful music.

This was a great night for the whole family! My daughters, age 13 and 11, loved it and can't wait for the next one. A great introduction to the symphony. Movie plays on a large screen while the symphony plays the score live on the stage. Great night!

This was my first time visiting the Schermerhorn Synphony Center and I'm already planning to attend another show in May. The orchestra is undeniably amazing, every note and chord of the four Mozart pieces were spot on. The venue itself is as elegant and beautiful as the music they performed. Very unique and enjoyable place with decently priced tickets. I should say that I purchased the cheapest tickets (balcony) and the view is just as good there than the other more expensive spots.

Being a fan of both, this was an amazing experience. Highly recommend this show!!
