I've been wanting to go to this show for several years, and glad I could finally make it! The light show was fantastic and they had a good mix of new and old Pink Floyd, including the entire Dark Side album. A lot of video/imaging from the Wall movie was used, which was a plus, too! I would recommend not sitting behind the sound booth. During the first half of the show it wasn't a problem, but when using the Prism glasses in the 2nd half, it can be a bit distracting.

Maybe at half the price it would not have been such a waste of money. But $58 for a low tech laser show? I've seen better graphics at Epcot over 20 years ago. For the money I would have expected to be wowed by more than the music. Stay home and listen to the albums loud. You'll have a much better time.

The laser part of the show was almost a complete copy of the Pink Floyd laser show playing at the Cernan Space Center which you can see for a third of the price and not pay $26 for parking.

I had never been to the House of Blues before. When purchasing the General Admission tickets, I don't recall seeing on the screen that it was Standing Room Only. Unfortunately for me, I neglected to look at the printed ticket until right before the show. Arrived at 7:30 and stood on my feet for 90 minutes until the show started. The only option for sitting is if I paid an additional $120 for 2 seats. The sounds was really great, but the visual was so-so.I had seen this laser show (or something similar) back in the mid-90's Triton College and I was dissapointed that the show didn't seem much different from 20 years ago. I was expecting a mind-blowing experience and it didn't even come close. We left after 45 minutes. Overall rating: C-

I'd heard of, but never seen this show before and I am so glad I did! I heard that in previous years the show only consisted of the full album of Dark Side of the Moon, but the 2nd half included songs from the Wall, Momentary Lapse of Reason, and Division Bell!

The Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular was "spectacular". The music and acoustics were outstanding. They chose the majority of their best music from their most popular albums, and even added a song from Meddle as the finale. I was even surprised to see that my favorite, Wish You Were Here, seemed to be the audience favorite also. The video was great and really put a visual to the music. The lasers were great with the glasses, but I do believe previous shows had more unique and unusual lasers, without glasses. The glasses did add a psychedelic effect to the show.

Even being as high as a kite doesn't help. This show is pathetic! Technology dating back to the previous century, seedy venue, unwashed audience, lousy sound system, boringly repetitive.... what more can I say. We walked out half way through. After recently seeing the live show The Wall, I can just imagine Roger Waters vomiting in disgust.

The only reason I gave this show one star is because giving zero is not a option. I have seen several Pink Floyd laser light shows and this is by far the WORST. If I wanted to watch Wizard of Oz to Pink Floyd albums, I could have done it at home for much less. First of all, it was in the convention center and the interlocking, uncomfortable chairs were layed out like a school auditorium, meaning that the discussing, obese man next to me took up half of my chair as well and I had to struggle to see over the 12 rows directly in front of me. Second, where were the lasers? Sure, there were a few green dollar sign lasers jumping around to Dorthy and Toto skipping down the yellow brick road (what does Wizard of Oz have to do with Pink Floyd anyways?), and when I put on the crappy glasses that one dollar sign turned into 6 of them....and a headache. We left 30 minutes in and requested our money back. WORST show ever. Clearly low budget, and clearly I wasnt on the right drugs to enjoy this awful excuse for a show.

I PAID $40.00 FOR VIP TICKETS AND IT WAS A JOKE. i COULD HAVE SAT ANYWHERE ELSE AND GOT THE SAME EXPERIENCE. THE SEATS WERE TOO CLOSE TOGETHER AND CRAMPED. I LOVE PINK FLOYD. BUT I WILL NEVER PAY TO GO SEE THIS ONE AGAIN. THE LASERS WERE COOL, BUT SHOULD OF HAD MORE. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT ON IN A SHOWROOM AND NOT A CONVENTION HALL. IT FELT LIKE I WAS AT A SEMINAR. AND NOT A FUN EVENT.

This was the saddest waste of money! I saw lazerium in its glory days at the griffith park observatory. This is NOT that fantastic show. Three lights on an empty stage with cheap 3d glasses that only make it interesting if u wiggle ur head. I want a refund! Horrible. Left at intermission. Bummer!

It was enjoyable, but it was a bit expensive for what it was. They have a couple lasers and play video on a screen paired with the music. They give you glasses to make it look more impressive as well. They mostly do dark side of the moon paired with wizard of oz, then some clips from the movie 'The Wall'.

Having seen many Pink Floyd laser shows at the Griffith Observatory, it was exciting to hear that a laser show would be available again. However, this was completely forgettable. Stay home and listen to some Floyd music on your own because that's essentially what you're paying for with this show. The laser show was cheesy and the attempt at psychedelia was just sad. Don't waste your money on somebody trying to profit off Floyd's music in a corny and unimaginative way. I'm pretty sure I could create the effects on my home computer that were used in this show. It was so bad that I left at Intermission.

I'm glad this show is around so the new generation of kids can get some relief from the trash that passes for music today. The show was good but I remember the original show from the 80s at the Hayden planetarium in NYC. I think that was better. The fact that it was a planetarium helped. The song selection could have been better. You would expect they would open with "Welcome to the Machine" but they didn't. No "Hey You" or "Learning to Fly". I expected "Comfortably Numb" to be the ending highlight but it was squeezed in the middle. They focused on Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall. Instead, they should have picked the best songs independently. The intermission was way too long. They said 10 minutes but ended up being 20 or more. I think there may have been a technical glitch. The lasers were good. They passed out these cheap "laser glasses" which were nothing more than multipliers that made you see 6 of everything. Not good. I just watched the show without them.

Thrilled to hear all of Dark Side, but would have enjoyed more of the newer songs as well. Venue should have shut off TV screen by the bar, visible from the balcony. I went into this show with high expectations, and they were all fulfilled and then some. By far the best Laser Pink Floyd I have ever seen. Very well done. Accompaning me was my 11 year old Daughter, who is as big of a Pink Floyd fan as I am. She said it best when, after the very first song, she turns to me, lifts her laser shades and says, "Dad, that just blew my mind." Thanks for a great show and a memory that will last me till then end of my days.

Generally a good show. There were a lot of awesome laser-drawn characters from The Wall and of Floyd album covers. But there were also a lot of repeating images and patterns (like bricks and desks during "Another Brick in the Wall") that would fly across the stage in a loop for way too long.

So, long story short. Laser it is but show it is not. It's just a demo of quite standard stage laser system. Nothing is really spectacular and nothing you have not seen yet. Lights are mostly not related to a music at all. Several primitive laser figures and some abstract constructs projected to the screen. These look mostly as a hint for clinical idiots. I.e. Lunatic is shown as a contour of man with the moon-shape head. Run = same contour is running. "distant ship on the horizon" = a contour of primitive ship etc. They even truncated Gilmore's solo in "comfortably numb". Judge yourself how far this pseudo show is from Pink Floyd spirit. If you ever saw any professional light show (I did), this "show" is like a mid-school cover band trying to play Led Zeppelin. Bottom line - a cheap speculation to fetch some $$ from fans.

If you live in a cabin without power and have never seen a laser, you might find this entertaining for a short period of time. This literally looks like fifth graders put together some faded movie footage and screen savers from the nineties. There is no actual Pink Floyd footage of any kind as Pink Floyd members would be utterly embarrassed to be associated with this project. If you are old enough to remember Spiro-graphs, that is what the laser looks like. They give you 3d glasses to help you tolerate it longer. It is the most unimaginative and amateurish thing I have ever wasted money on. I sure wish i could get my money back. I only put three star so you would read this. I would not give it one computer generated star.

Nothing having to do with Pink Floyd can ever be disappointing. They are the best! But i think calling this event a laser "spectacular" is a huge stretch. Cool venue, but the actual show and effects were very amateur. Who can complain about 2 hours of nonstop Floyd tho? I'll always check out an event related to them. This event was not at all what I expected. I am a huge Pink Floyd fan and left feeling very disappointed. The sound quality was great, but the laser component was too much. It was like the creator didn't know what to settle on in terms of laser design so they just put all designs up at once. Also, had to wear 3D glasses. Not a drawback, but I didn't know this prior to the event. So, figured I'd share for future event attendees.

The lasers were horribly drawn and not all that impressive. The sound system sounded worse than what I have at home. I was expecting a visual and sonic spectacular. I gor neither. I thought this was going to be a live band, similar to the Australian Pink Floyd who I have seen before. Unfortunately this was just a laser show, and you had to purchase glasses to enjoy it! Not an exceptionally inventive presentation overall - cliche iconography throughout, basic laser show effects with no special projection techniques - but several nicely designed moments none the less. Within expectations, though the show would have been very flat without the ($2.00 purchase) diffraction grid "laser glasses" (that SHOULD be included with the ticket). It was nice to revisit the music and the sound system was great,

The show was cool. Something I had never been to. The graphics were very good. The sound was very good. It wasn't worth $40 a ticket though. It seemed like all of the seats would have had pretty much the same view. The chairs were very uncomfortable to sit in for 1.5 hrs, and they were very close together. We were lucky to have empty seats to one side of us, otherwise my husband would have been sitting on the lap of someone else. Because I wear glasses, the paper 3-D type glasses they gave everyone didn't stay on too well.

No Surround sound just in stereo, no band just played the cd, the video didn't displayed had nothing to do with the song playing at that time, the laser did go with the music but you had to wear these prism glasses that multiplied that lasers to make up for their lack of lasers. Sound was distorted, the only good thing was it only lasted 70 minutes, very short.
