This was a great show. She was engaging, funny, and entertaining!

I grew up watching Mama's Family, so when I seen Vicki Lawrence was going to be close to home I had to go. My mom, sisters and myself enjoyed the show tremendously. Seeing Mama brought back so many childhood memories from when one of my sisters would dress up as Mama and act out as her.

Lots of laughs. Some material was a little stale, however "Mamma" was delightfully baudy. The show was a pleasant surprise.

She came out first as Vicki Lawrence and she told a couple Carol Burnett Show stories but it was mostly a stand-up routine. Her jokes were funny and tended toward female humor but some of her jokes were a bit dated like Dick Cheney shooting someone and the BP oil spill. She sang When the Lights Went Out in Georgia and the theme to the Mama's Family which I didn't know originally had words that she had written. Then she did a stand-up routine as Mama. Overall it was a funny show and I'm glad I went.

Excellent show! We have had the privilege of seeing some well known comedians and Vicki Lawrence, by far, has been the best.

Our sister's weekend was highlighted by Vickie. Her 2 woman show was wonderfully entertaining. Her timing is flawless and her humor was spot on. She owned the night and we were happy to go with her. Great show.

Vicki's part was good. She explained how she got started in comedy, told some very funny jokes (loved the ob gyne ones), and sang. Mama was very funny too. She told jokes, rapped, danced around, & sang too. It was like you were in her living room visiting 2 different people. Both had you laughing. Great way to end the week laughing.

The show was awesome!! Old fashioned funny without all the vulgarity/cussing. She kept us on our toes and laughing the whole time.

I really enjoyed the first half of just Vicki being herself. She is funny and so easy to laugh at (in a good way lol). The second half was all "Mama" and was just as funny! My date and I laughed so much and had a great time sharing this event with each other. (We just started dating! Score one for me buying these tickets!!!) Thank you for an awesome evening with Vicki and Mama!

Bought the tickets for my Mom for her birthday. She said she loved every minute of the show. Vicki was witty, honest and as lovable as ever. She received a standing ovation, as she should. My mom highly recommends the show for everyone whether you grew up watching her shows or not. All will enjoy it.

Great show, witty and hilarious. Both parts as Mama and Vicki Lawrence were equally good,nonstop comedy. Second time we saw show completely different show each time.

This 2 woman show was nice and relaxing,enjoyable and comical. Had a very pleasant time. So good to see a show that didn't have a lot of bad language or nudity. This was a show for almost any age group.

Both my husband and I enjoyed the show very much, as much as I loved David Spade, think Mama may have topped it!!

Watching Vicki Lawrence & mama on stage took me back to when I was very young sitting in my parents living room watching TV. She was great I liked hearing her story and Mama was so funny my wife and I realy enjoyed the show.

I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. It was easy to relate to her humor, since I am about the same age as her. The other three people I was with also found her very entertaining.

This was a very funny show. It included a little bit of nostalgia from the Carol Burnett show, a lot of personal anecdotes and some really funny material. Her transformation from Vicki Lawrence to Mama was amazing. It was like two different people. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This show was so much fun. Loved the comedic talent of Vicki. Also, loved her skit as Mama.

The show overall was enjoyable but as others have mentioned, the Mama portion is best. Vicki should nix the singing. I think most people connect the Georgia song with Gladys Knight. The bloopers were good and for young people who enjoy comedy but aren't familiar with the show, I think it would be interesting to see some clips and then have Vicki talk about the other characters, etc.

My husband use to watch Mama's Family when he was a kid. He really enjoyed the show. Vicki Lawrence is really funny and a good story teller. There was a bit of singing but all enjoyable. My husband did have one comment about Mama being a little too much with the times but I think it made her cute.

however the seating was horrible. it was held in a glorified confrence room. it was loud and hard to hear vicki.we could not see. the ticketmaster said the seats would be at a pivot so no matter where we were seated we could be able to see. not true.heard more people ordering drinks to the bartender than the show.

Vicki Lawrence does it again, to a sold out audience that couldn't stop laughing and cheering. This would make the 4th time I have seen the show, and I loved it each time! Twice now I had VIP tickets to get to see her in person back stage. This show was great for the teens and the couple in their 80's.

Loved The Carol Burnett Show, so I was anxious to see Vicki Lawrence. It was an enjoyable show.

My husband and I loved all the funny stories Vicki told about how she was discovered, her time on the Carol Burnett show, and life in general. "Mama" had a question and answer segment that was pretty funny too. We are so glad we went, and would love to see her again if she is ever back in our vicinity.

It was just a large meeting room with too many chairs in the room. There was very little room to move. Since the seats were not raised it was hard to see through the sea of heads.

Vickie Lawrence was amazing! She kept us all on our toes and in stitches laughing throughout the entire night! At one point during her performance, I looked to my right and then to my left and saw the hardest working, self composed and strongest women in my life doubled over laughing out loud. I can not tell how much I loved to see them so happy. Thank you, Mrs. Lawrence, for such a wonderful evening! You are the best!

The show was very entertaining especially when Mama came out on stage. Loved hearing from Vicki about how she started her career. I could watch and listen to Mama all day long. It was good to relax and laugh.

I enjoyed going back in time to hear Mama again. Loved the inside stories of The Carol Burnett show. She is still so funny.

Vicki hasn t changed a bit - she is timeless. Her performance as herself was highly entertaining and Mama was as funny as ever!

We were thrilled at the idea of seeing Thelma Harper's stand-up act so close to home. Unfortunately, the humor was as old as the tv show. The first half of the show was Ms. Lawrence telling the story of how she got famous (lots of references to Carol Burnett). During her monologue, the jokes were old and pretty dated (Snuggies? Dick Cheney?). There weren't a lot of laughs from the crowd, to the point that we almost felt bad for her. There were a few people that did try to engage but she pretty much stuck to her script. The performance didn't feel very dynamic. Halfway through the show she said she would go find Mama for us. While she was backstage changing, they played a blooper reel from "Mama's Family". Honestly, this was the funniest part of the show and got the biggest laughs from the crowd. When Mama came on stage, you could tell THIS is what the crowd was waiting for. However, even her jokes were a little dated ("What do you think of same-sex marriage?"), albeit a tad funnier and more recent than Vicki's. The show wasn't very long (maybe 90 minutes?) and the venue was just a hotel conference room with chairs. My bottom line is that I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. It wasn't much of a walk down Raytown's Memory Lane nor particularly insightful to old school Hollywood/TV.

My husband and I had the best time. We really enjoyed the whole show from Vicki to Mama. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

Vickie was good. Some times it was difficult to understand what she was saying. The piped in music for her songs was too loud, it drowned out Vickie. The act itself was good. Probably would not pay to see her again.

She still cracks me up! And Mama still has opinions!

This lady is so awesome!!! She made me laugh so much! I would go see her every time I get the chance. I hope she continues to do this stand up comedy and I hope I get the chance to see her again and again! Was the best part of my vacation!!!

I have been wanting to see Vicki Lawrence since she started touring. It was all I expected.I recommend this concert highly. Very funny and entertaining.

She was great. She did a combination of comedy/singing and the entire crowd seemed to enjoy it.

Our family has watched Mama since our kids were small and love her. We've always thought she does " Southern" correctly. Her funny little sayings are still quoted by our kids. Her show was very entertaining and we enjoyed it very much. We were surprised that she didn't incorporate the other family members into her act.

Vicki was funny, but the show was short. I wish it was a little longer and she had an opener.

We saw Vicki Lawrence at the Pitman Theater in NJ. The theater was filled with enthusiastic fans...I'm so so with her, but the people I was with love her. She was funny, and kept the show moving. Her singing isn't great, but she enjoyed it. Her humor can be raunchy, but we didn't mind because it was very funny. The mama segment was the best part, and the audience was roaring. She told a lot of good stories, and was pretty entertaining. Her fans raved about the show and loved it!

The Mama character was funny. There was no intermission, with a total show of barely over 75 mins. The jokes were a bit stale in some cases. One joke was about the BP Oil Spill. Another mentioned camcorders. When's the last time you saw a camcorder? There were far too many jokes about sex, Viagra, penises, erections and vaginas. It got old fast, so I'm somewhat glad the show was short. The Lights Went Out in Georgia should've been left out as the singing was sub-par. But I didn't know the story, so that was interesting to hear. It was also fun to hear the Mama's Family lyrics. We saw Tim Conway a few years back and it was great. Vicki could think about replicating some of that and do more videos of the good ole' days with bits from the shows interspersed. Drop the older jokes and get some new ones. She looked good for her age and it was fun to get to see her.

Show was great loved the history! Vicki & Mama were very entertaining! Seeing the old clips sure brought back old memories!

It was a great show! This was our second time going, the first time was 2 years ago and the material was all the same.

My husband, grandson, and I were so excited to be able to get tickets. We weren't as close as we would have liked, but still in a good area. The show was everything we hoped for and more. It was a dream come true.

As a long time fan, I was delighted to see her in person. She was as lovely as ever, and it pleased me very much to see her tell stories both of her life and of what went into her most famous character. Mama, of course, was a total delight.

I brought my mom and daughter, who as a child would watch Mama's Family with her grandmother. To see the excitement and joy they both had at seeing Vicki/Mama in person was one of the greatest moments for me. Vicki is an amazing entertainer and we would definitely see her again. Thanks Vicki and Cypress Bayou for giving 3 generations of women and memorable & incredible night!!

What a Awesome show!! I'm so glad I went see Vicki Lawrence/Mama She was a great performer. It was such a privilege to see her. Her ability to make everyone laugh, her ability to entertain, and her ability to sing was so much enjoyed. I will never forget her or Mama. I can truly say, my heart was broken when the show was over. I'm in my early 30's and I grew up watching Mama's Family and I thought I'd never see her in person, but I thank God I seen her live. Thanks Vicki for your gift of entertainment. You are Truly One Of A Kind. Thanks for the laugh and a great memory.

This show was excellent!!! Vicki Lawrence did an excellent job telling jokes as herself and as Mama!!!

This was our third time seeing Mrs. Lawrence and mama, we seen her at the Canton Palace theater twice and when she came to the Northfield Rocksino we were hesitant because the previous two shows were exactly the same. We went on her website and sure enough it said new edgy material so we bought the tickets with fees and other charges we were in for about $160 for two tickets excited to see her new material however very disappointed because the show was exactly the same except for the line about Hillary and one about Trump. I will never see her show again and I would like my money back. So my advice to anyone who has seen her in the past, you have already seen the show don't waste your money. Someone with an extensive career like she has had should be able to come up with new material

This show was fabulous. Must see. Worth the price of the tickets. You will never forget it.

The humor seemed more directed at the 70 plus age group versus those of us in our 50s. But the majority of the audience had white hair, so I suppose that may be what was intended. We enjoyed Mama more than the Vickie stand up comedy.

So glad we went! A wonderful evening of laughter and good, clean fun! Vicki is still as beautiful and talented as ever! A great show!

An extremely entertaining evening. Vicki Lawrence started with her own background and personal stories which were all very humorous and well told. The 2nd half was with "mama" and another funny show...she let it lose as only an "outspoken elderly person" in that "mama" character could do it! My wife and I would both recommend the show to anyone (more for adults than children...much of the routine would be lost on them). A funny, funny show...old fashion entertainment without degrading anyone or taking cheap shots at people or groups; very enjoyable.

Viki was entertaining. The first half of the show was extremely enjoyable. When she came on as Mama it was not as good. There seemed to be a lack of humor through out the performance. Overall, it was good.

Pretty good show- only problem was the Sound Technician was terrible- whenever she tried to sing the words sounded murky/ don't know if they couldn't handle a wireless microphone. I had heard she is a pretty decent singer &* was disappointed that part of the show was unintelligible.

I loved the show! She was fabulous! I took my mom who's a big fan of her and Carol Burnett. She laughed so hard she cried! Only one thing could have made it better. There was limited parking for handy-capped. Make sure you get there early. My 83 year old mother had to walk a long distance. :(

This was the 3rd time I have seen Vickie L and Mama and each time she gets funnier. It is amazing how she is always so fresh, hilarious and her up to date humor. I love her TV show (and still do). The audience at IP were laughing so hard all during the show. Bring her back soon.

Hard to believe that "mama" is actually the attractive, young (63 year old) Vicki. She is very funny in both version telling interesting stories about her life and the television shows and then answering questions as "mama.' The show was non-stop laughs for a full ninety minutes.

The show was terrific. Clean humor with no filthy words. Both Vicki and Mama were better than our memories. Well worth the money. The IP venue was great better than all others in Biloxi.

What a great show. I took my 80 year old Mother, 65 year old sister in law and 44 year old Friend. I am 50 - we all had a blast. Vicki looked terrific and was on her A game. She was personable, funny, she related stories to all of us. She included audience engagement and content was appropriate for all. What a terrific show! ....

Great show! Vicki Lawrence was very funny and of course Mama was hilarious. I would see them again.

The show itself was awesome, and my mom and I laughed till we cried. I was a little disappointed however, because when I purchased my tickets I was told that Vicki Lawrence would be signing autographs after the show. This was not true, she only had a "meet & greet" before the show, for people by invitation only. The seats we had weren't good because the event was not advertised as much, so my tickets were purchased last minute. I consider myself to be a tried and true fan of Mama's Family aka Vicki Lawrence, I taped all of her episodes, and still watch them to this day. My family and I have a ritual on weekends and sometimes 2-3 times a week. We will stay up late after a hard day, make some snacks, and watch re-runs all night. Even my 2yr old daughter watches her show, and dances every time she hears the theme song play. Vicki is absolutely amazing, I think her charm, beauty, and comedy style will be around for a long time. I wish I could of met her in person. ;)

absolutley hysterical...i took my mom and my cousin... they could not stop laughing... and i was so glad they totally enjoyed themselves... it was well worth the trip down to the casino to see Vicki and Mama!
