All and all it was a great experience and our family had a lot of fun! There were games, food, music, and laughs. My only complaint is this show was represented as "fun for the whole family" however the comedy presented by Nick Hoff was crude and had topics that were not all appropriate for families with young children. (Ie being cock blocked, threesomes, and a joke with the word "Rape" in it) I am sure there are people that see no problem with having there kids hear people talk this way however spending your evening answering questions from your 9 year old about what a threesome is and what cock blocked means is not how anyone wants to spend their drive home. So parents with small children keep this in mind

I was so happy to get close seats (3 to 4 rows from stage) to see 2 of my favorite Blue Collar comedians. The lights were very bright while the stage was being re-set between the opening bands and Jeff & Larry. Jeff's performance was my favorite. Larry's microphone must not have been clear because he was muffled most of the time.

Foxworthy was by far the highlight of the night. Close behind was the opening act, Decibel. Larry was just ok. Foghat and Marshall Tucker Band left a lot to be desired. MTB had the most annoying light show I've ever seen. Was constantly being blinded by spotlights in my eyes. Never did find the BBQ.

Let me start out by saying Larry & Jeff are amazing. They are extremely funny and well worth the price of admission. Foghat and Marshall Tucker well they are OK but sound horrible. Foghat was just noise and we, like 85% of the audience left as they were playing opening song. Let's be real, 99% of people are there to see the comedy of Jeff, Larry & the Hoff.

Fun night out!!! Jeff, Larry, and Foghat were definitely the highlights of the evening. The other acts on this tour need to be "rethought", especially using Marshall Tucker Band as the closing act. They are off their game, and it was sad to watch people (including us) leaving the venue in drives. :(

The show was good. Jeff Foxworthy was hilarious! Seen Larry the Cable guy but didn't think he was as funny as the last time I saw him. Liked the bands but felt all the bands went into massive rock outs on all the songs and it got kind of annoying.

Didn't care that much for Mr. Foxworthy and the other comedian. Not interested in people's poop etc. Issues or a man's private parts . Watched the parents in front of me hold the ears of their children. VERY OFFENSIVE. Wanted to leave when Mr. Foxworthy just kept it going.

The Jeff & Larry's Backyard BBQ was a fun and relaxing evening. I would recommend buying the 4 packs for the lawn, the event was worth the $17 each in a a four pack, but I would have been disappointed if I had spent the higher dollar amount for the pavilion. This was just a good fun evening. Foghat was amazing, they were the best of the night. I saw them as a teenager, and could not believe how great they still sound. Marshall Tucker (who I was the most excited about seeing) was a disappointment. But two iconic bands with iconic songs, Slow Ride and Can't You See....worth every dollar. Jeff and Larry delivered, no surprise there! We were disappointed on the food front though. We thought there would be several local BBQ offerings, there was only one and they sold out early.

Was pleasantly surprised to have music and comedy together. Comedians were pretty short (time wise). Marshall Tucker needs to hang it up. Foghat was great!

Opening music (Foghat) was so loud. We had to leave because it was too bad. We had been to several concerts before and this is the worst we had been. This event started at 6pm and at 8:30pm, the main headliners had not even performed and came out the stage. What a waste of time, we travelled for almost 4 hours to see this show only to find out how bad and loud the music.

I've always like their comedy routines, when I found out they were coming to do a concert I needed to get tickets. It was well worth it, they played about 40 minutes each. The music was also excellent.

The show could have been better- Jeff and Larry only preformed a little over 1/2 hr and for the headliners we would have liked to have seen more.

For an event billed as food trucks, games and fun for the family; this didn't quite make it. Small crowd, one food truck, one game, expensive beer. Foghat led the night off and was fine, but didn't need a hour to cover their hits. Thirty minute intermission with a loop of 3 show promos for RFD-TV (why no music?) then Jeff. He did a good set, but no new material. I've seen Larry before, but this performance was totally lacking. Finally Eddie Money. We saw him at a private event last year and he rocked; this year he dragged to a screeching halt and ended his set early since the crowd totally thinned out to nothing and he did nothing to keep folks in their seats, let alone in the amphitheater. I was really hopeful, even though the weather was bad, but it turned out to be a waste of $170.00 (two seats and parking) plus 2 beers ($20).

Great show, venue is wonderful! Really good food and even though it sprinkled we stuck it out and thought Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy were hillarious! Music was great, even have a new band that I like in the Forty Thieves.

I loved both Jeff and Larry and the other guy who did some comedy in between. The set changes were far too long. The first band The Forty Theives played about a 45 minute set (too long, openers should play between 20-25 minutes). Then the set change between them and Foghat was just as long. Foghat played less time than the opening act! And then the change to Larry's time again too long. We left before Eddie Money because it was already 10pm on a Sunday night. I feel there should be far less down time (time between acts) and more entertainment.

There was no extra bbq/food vending contrary to ads, concessions sold out and closed early, Marshall Tucker Band broke up in 83 and this is a cover band and sole original member Doug Grey, was wasted and could not perform, sat on stool, let others sing his parts, slurred creepy inuendos, and he needs to retire the brand since its not really mtb now. Rip Tommy & Toy Caldwell, respect to 70's MTB, Legend. Ps Larry did a bunch of toilet jokes that were not funny even on redneck night, he and Doug sucked really. Jeff was hilarious, and Foghat was tight and rocking.

The reviews hating on Marshall Tucker Band (MTB) are way off. They started slow and the first song was their worst. They ended with Can't You See and any MTB fan knows to stay for that. The fools who left early do not know what they missed. I admit they were better at the Ritz, Raleigh earlier this year but I bet they regroup for upcoming Cary show with the Outlaws! Foghat was of the charts great and was the reason I travelled. The folks who hated them apparently had no idea there would be music at all (the Raleigh show did not have music). There were plenty of true fans for both bands. The opening local band was okay and the front man reminded me of Peter Wolf of J. Geils. That is a compliment. I am no red neck but the comedy was pretty good like the joke about the Brown Recluse. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of racial humor and there was only one climate-change denial joke which was actually funny is it were not so untrue. Yes, the poop and kidney stone jokes went a bit long but I WOULD SEE THIS SHOW AGAIN and glad I came from Raleigh to see it. The Pavilion is not really bicycle- or pedestrian-friendly but looks like it will be in a couple years. THANK YOU.

Jeff and Larry were great. Came out with foghat and rocked out. The new comedian Nick Hoff is definitely one to watch. I'd pay to see him again. Marshall tucker was the absolute worst performance I've ever seen. I don't think they even wanted to be there. So thankful they were on last.

I could have done without the bands and just listened to Jeff and Larry. The opening band was so bad it made my ears hurt, literally! They never said their name (I'd be embarrassed too) but he is married to "Lisa". They sang off key and mostly screamed! Foghat and MTB really should consider retirement. MTB member wanted to go on and on how much he loved everyone??? I work in healthcare and even I didn't find the poop jokes that funny. Overall, I was a bit disappointed, bought these tickets for hubby's birthday and really let him down :(

I guess we weren't expecting even more performers. Had to wait through some local band we never heard of and some comedian we never heard of. Foghat was good, Jeff and Larry were outstanding. Unfortunately, the MTB was awful. "Heard it in a Love Song" sounded like fingernails on a chalk board. After another song or two, we joined the huge throng streaming to the exits.

Really disappointed in this event. The whole premise was supposed to be a family event full of games, BBQ, etc. The "games" consisted of one cornhole game and one jenga game. There was nothing there for the "family". The BBQ that was advertised as "many different kinds" was a $15 plate from the concession stand. The performers were ok. Jeff Foxworthy was definitely worth the price of admission and Larry the Cable Guy was OK but not much else. If you were planning on taking kids, DON'T. If the event was advertised different then review might get two or three stars but a family event (laughable).

Larry's Backyard BBQ was probably the worst concert ever. One hour of comedy was in the middle of the 2 bands playing (Foghat and Marshall Tucker). They should have done 1/2 the comedy before Foghat and 1/2 after. An hour of that was too long. Then when Jeff & Larry was done you hope the headliner band is going to be good, but no, they were awful. Marshall Tucker can't sing anymore and they need to retire. There was a traffic jam leaving as soon as they finished their 2nd song; everyone left at once (that was new; never had a traffic jam when the headliner band starts)!! We were apologizing to the friends we invited that is was soooo bad.
