The Championship Tour

Fell in love with SchoolboyQ.. loved everyone! Loved how they all repped their favorite sport.. disappointed that SZA did not perform, didn't even see her. But besides that they put on a great show! LOVE TDE!

The show was amazing. The venue was fun. They actually gave us a free upgrade so I recommend going to xfinity center. Kendrick Lamar intro was so dope he s a natural performer so everyone was hyped. Overall great experience. I plan on seeing him when he comes back!

Everyone set was great and amazing. Feel like Lance could ve done at least one more song. SiR was great and shows he can shine as that next big RnB singer. I really wish Soulo was able to do more songs. He could ve had as much tracks performed as Jay Rock. Jay Rock s set was fucking great can t wait for him to announce his tour for the new album dropping on June 15th. ScHoolboy Q was definitely a highlight of the show. Arriving in a golf cart and playing on the drums were hilarious moments and the energy from his set is the same energy I get from his music. Kendrick of course being the main event was phenomenal. Can t believe I really saw some of my favorite artists in the game live on stage in my area. Can t wait until the next tour they have individually or as a group; I ll make it my business to go. Wish SZA was there and Isaiah. Also wished TDE did more of their songs together that each respective artist was featured on. Some missed opportunities but regardless this will probably be the best concert I ever go to in my life.

The show was great, although it would've been cool if Kendrick Lamar and SZA had collaborated. Everything about the venue was great (views, concessions, parking, getting out after the show) EXCEPT it wasn't quite loud enough on the lawn. They could really use a couple more banks of speakers

The entire TDE crew absolutely killed it that night of the concert and it s a night I ll never forget.

Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Kendrick are the highlights. One negative was SZA performing in between ScHoolboy and Kendrick, sort of a buzzkill for those who don't know all of her work. Also, opener shouted out wrong city.

I wouldn t recommend this show to anyone. The performances were lazy and it looked so low budget. I was embarrassed for everyone involved. SZA s sound malfunctions were disheartening and TDE s overall stage presence was lacking. Even Pullitzer Kenny did a mediocre job. Just a sad excuse for a show.

I got the Meet and Greet VIP package for me and two other family members and VIP parking at an additional cost, let me tell you it was a rip off especially when the tickets were a little over $500 each and parking at $30.00. When meeting Kendrick it took forever he had us all standing for hours out in the rain and to top it off his security was a jerk and so dramatic we couldn t take anything to sign and we were searched like we were inmates going into jail. We all literally had a split second with Kendrick Lamar. When taking a picture with him we had to go one by one and had to sit on this weird couch and get up real quick and that was that the big meet and greet. Kendrick seemed not very into the whole meet and greet and it just made the whole experience awkward. Not to mention we were waiting so long to meet him and then had to wait until everyone took the split second picture to walk us all together to the VIP lounge which by the way it was so small and the finger food was so limited. Lastly we missed out on the Merch booth items we all wanted sweaters and they were all sold out of the sizes we were wanting:( if we didn t wait for hours to meet Kendrick then we could of had time to purchase Merch.Overall I felt ripped off and will never purchase again

Line took about a hour, ended up missing half the show since everyone had short sets. Only got to see sza kendrick and schoolboy cause of this.

This was my third time seeing Kendrick and he was equally if not better than the first time I saw him!! SZA, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock and the others were amazing as well! I can't wait for the next TDE event.

The performances were great. Getting into the venue was horrible

Ultimately, I would only recommend the show if you want to see your favorite TDE artists perform (mostly) solo, so DON'T expect any collaborations throughout each artists' set. Collabs happened near the end (I heard), but I don't know if it's worth waiting 2 hours to exit the venue to stay through the end of the show.

Great show! I liked how it built bigger and bigger with the opening acts to the main event :) Sweet, that SiR got to perform again after the seats were filled. Nice! Kendrick Lamar is the best lyricist, performer, crowd hyper. Love him!!! Will go to see him again..yes!

Absolutely loved the show! Every performer had a great amount of energy and the set pieces were absolutely astonishing! I loved the whole theme of it being a championship tour and how each act had it's own sport setting and sport attire.

If you know Kendrick he loves when people get so into it, and dance around, he is amazing and TDE is amazing, however The front shouldn t have had seating, we should have been able to move around more freely, it made it hard to dance and get really into the music, next time please reconsider seating in the front.

First, White River Ampitheatre is a joke. Halfway through the show, still waited in line for 45 minutes. Barely made it in time for Sza and Kendrick was right after. No excuse for not having proper staff for a sold out show. Now back to the show. Kendrick was AMAZING!! He knows how to get the crowd lit. Played all his hits old and new. Would pay to see him everytime he come to WA. If it weren't for the amazing set Kendrick put on, this review may have gotten zero stars.

I will start off with saying my experience would have been totally different if I didn t waste my time and money with the meet and greet package. The show was awesome! However, the unprofessionalism all around at the meet and greet was unbelievable. Kendrick will barely acknowledge you, and in your photo he will look like he doesn t even want to be there (he did this with everyone). Once again, the concert was great! But please don't waste your time and money on the meet and greet package; this will make the whole experience less enjoyable.

The music portion of the concert was great and I enjoyed that aspect very much. There were technical difficulties that were pretty distracting that took away from the overal performance of each act, however it was the second day of tour. The part that was absolutely ridiculous was the parking. I paid $35 for Star parking which was the biggest waist of money. In the description of Star parking it claims that you get to leave first from the venue. This was not the case. Every single bus left first. There was no structure in the parking lot. It was an absolute mad house and I was even backed into. I spent just under an hour in the lot waiting to leave. When I finally got out of the parking lot and into a turn lane to leave, an officer told me that both lanes would go the direction I wanted to turn. This wasn t true. It was pretty annoying that they didn t even know what was going on and they were the ones directing the traffic. I definitely would like that $35 back. Huge waist. Again, music was great, but the parking was a huge problem.

The Championship tour was amazing. The energy was through the roof. 10/10 would recommend

I had such a great time at The Championship Tour!! Only let down was there was no intermission between artists. The show seemed like it went by too fast. Having no intermission made it hard to use the restroom or grab a beer. Show started at 7:30pm and it ended at 11ish.

Close tickets were worth the price! Didn t realize it was raining until I stepped out to use the bathroom! Super bad traffic after the show, but it was a great show!!

Once the real show starts, Schoolboy Q, it is non stop amazing. The first few acts weren t bad, but they were short and just did their set over a track. Schoolboy Q, Sza, and Kendrick had a live band through out. This show did not disappoint

The lineup was amazing!! I loved seeing some of my favorite rappers such as Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, and Ab Soul all on one stage!! They were so much fun to watch and be able to experience.

It was fun to be here it rained a little bit but wasn t as bad it was supposed to be so the show went on Kinda mad Sza Did not come along for the tour due to a sickness I was feel like there should be some type a refund I also felt like the sets were kind of rushed but all in all was a good show

The concert was great - Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar put on a great show! However, I felt duped that those who bought tickets for TDE expecting SZA to be there didn t know through Live Nation or Ticketmaster, etc. I had to find out through social media and word of mouth. It would have been appreciated to find that out from the ticket source.

SZA didn t perform, which was disappointing. Show started late and we had to be out by a certain time, so parts of the show were very rushed.

I came for both of them not just Kendrick, very little notice was made that sza was not performing. I feel that there should be some sort of reparations made about that because I wouldn t have gone if I knew sza wasn t going to be there honestly. And maybe he was trying not to make it awkward but Kendrick didn t mention sza at all. And sza ended up performing the next day for a bigger event so that s a bit odd to me. All in all still 4 stars because it s not Kendrick s fault but it was definitely a bit of a let down. This also caused the set list to change some. I was especially looking forward to the songs Kendrick and sza planned on doing together. My first concert in years and one of the two headliners doesn t perform :/ it was a bit unprofessional of that to happen without prior notice and no mention of it during the concert. She had been sick for weeks and cancelled other shows ahead of time so why not ours? I waited until the night before the concert to purchase the tickets and I saw no mention of her voice having issues on her social media that day because I wanted to make sure before purchasing. Like I said though Kendrick was good the only thing I would say that would make him better is more talking between the songs, I wanted it to be a little more personal.

I was unable to prepay for parking before I made it to the venue. I was not informed that one artist would not be performing on the tour. The diagram of the stage and the audience seating was not completely accurate through my eyes

One of the best concerts I ve been too. Sucks SZA couldn t make it but Kendrick definitely stepped it up!

It s very much worth it. It was my third time seeing the show on this tour and I still loved it. Got to see Ab-Soul this time who was great. Wish SZA could have been there. Jay Rock is lit. Hype man knows his stuff. Schoolboy is where it s at...very underappreciated artist. And Kendrick is married to his music. He feels every beat still. Loved it. Just would reconsider meet and greet because you only get a few seconds to take a pic. Not much of a meet or greet.

Whole line up put on a great show. No Sza but Schoolboy brought energy. Glad they came to Pittsburgh

First time being to this venue and first concert ever. It was 1000x better than anticipated. I was worried about the seats being too far from the stage but they were perfect (S9,RY,Seat5).

The only complaint that I have is Sza wasn t there and she still performed at some festival. She was one of the main reasons I purchased tickets. The concert was still amazing.

SZA wasn t even there and I drove 2 hours with no warning

A great show! I was on the lawn but I was still able to see and enjoy the concert.

All in all I was disappointed by both the venue and the show. Show - I should have been paying more attention to social media but I cannot believe that Live Nation did not warn me that SZA was not going to be preforming after I paid more in ticketing fees than for my actual tickets! I would have liked to have had the option for a refund as she was the main person I was there to see with my friend for her birthday. The venue - I felt that only having the option to buy alcohol in VIP areas was an extremely elitist move. Also, because it was 'off season' there was no shuttle to go between the metro north and the venue. I think this is mostly a venue for people who have access to a car and the money to do it right.

Amazing show, only thing that can improve is the parking situation

My friends and i had driven 4 hours to Chicago in excitement for this show. The opening acts each had about 3 songs that were rushed. The DJ was awful, continuously playing the same songs and giving little to no introduction to who was about to come on stage. The artists each played the same song instead of them coming together to do the song in which they ARE ALL featured in. School boy Q and Kendrick were mostly yeah yeah yeah and then holding the microphone to the crowd. Kendrick ended with playing humble two times in a row. The first one he let the crowd sing by themselves and the second one was a sad excuse for his finishing act. Overall, the show was an absolute nightmare. I m still mad about it.

Kendrick L was only out for short time due to other artists running over and city sound ordinance. He was good but time was disappointing. Was not worth the cost unfortunately.

Kendrick is one of the best!!! Jay rock was really good as well

TDE was great. Only thing I d say is to avoid sections 201 & 208 quite difficult to see stage due to poles and stage setup.

No SZA due to injury. Sad. Kendrick just stood in a single place rapping, skipping choruses, and mumbling 1/2 the time. The venue did not allow for clear audio quality to boot. Not good. Not worth it until SZA is better.

I've never written a bad review before. However, this concert was very disappointing. I was really looking forward to Sza, and there was no notice of her abscence. What's up with that? I feel there should be an accommodation or something at least.

Have to say, i was really surprised at the fact that all the acts went on right after the other with minimal down time in between. Overall a really positive vibe from the artists and the crowd. Venue was one of the better ones I've experienced of late, minimal lines, friendly staff.

The show was a bit stale. Not my first time seeing any of the performers so it was very lukewarm.

It was one of the best shows I ve been too, will not forever the experience.

I attended with my children and co-worker we had such a great time.

This concert was even better than I imagined. SZA wasn t there but, honestly, we were cool with that. ScHoolboy s energy was everything. I love how he always does an excerpt from Groovy Tony.

This being first concert my daughter attended she had a blast,but being I have been to many could of been better. Stage setup wasn t the best blocking views from certain angles and one performing was out (SZA due to vocal issues) could of brought someone to replace her. Overall was a good show for me

TDE brought out the all-stars for the Championship Tour and they did not disappoint. The show was very well organized, entertaining and high energy. The music quality was top-notch; we particularly enjoyed the live band of talented musicians. You'll get all the bells & whistles: fire, smoke, lasers, lights

My first ever concert and I couldn t ask for a better one. All artists involved were surreal. From ScHoolboy Q, to SiR, to Kendrick, everyone s set was incredible. I d definitely go again

Championship tour was worth every dime. This was a 15th bday present for my twin sons. We made memories for their 1st concert & had a ball while doing so. Kendrick and crew are powerful & solid as they come in the rap game. This venue was a plus as well.

I tip my hat to the first Pulitzer Prize winner that I have met; yes, met! The whole camp did their thing and it was worth my VIP tickets!

Even though we were pretty close, we had a somewhat obstruction where we were sitting. No SZA. Other than that, amazing show. Kendrick is worth the money.

The line up was flawless. Kendrick was epic. School Boy Q was excellent.

We unfortunately were running late to the concert, and made it there about ten minutes after they took everyone back. When we got to the gate, one of the staff members was extremely rude, and refused to let us through the gate, despite our early-entry ticket. Someone had to come get us in order for the woman to let us get through the gate. Meet and greet was extremely quick, but the food in the lounge and the free drink was a plus. In meet and greet you did not even get the opportunity to say hello, you simply sat down, took the picture, and was told to exit. Pictures on your own phone were not allowed either. In addition, although it was not her fault, sadly SZA did not perform. That put a damper on the whole concert for me, because she was the main person I went to see. Overall the concert was okay, the crowd didn t seem to be too into it either, the energy wasnt the best. The artists put on a good show though. Hopefully SZA feels better soon so that I can actually see her perform for once.

I am a BIG Kendrick Lamar fan and have waited for this tour. It was worth every minute and penny for true TDE fans! Visuals were great, everyone kept the crowd involved, and we didn't have to wait too long between sets. Schoolboy Q kept us laughing and made us want a little more time with him. SZA pushed thru her pain to be there with us, which may have been her last performance for some time. Kenny was everything I thought he'd be. He included TDE in his set, did most of the songs I wanted, and shouted out concert goers. I had the time of my life and would not only recommend it, but would see it again and can't wait to see him come back to H-Town!

It was amazing! Nothing else to say. Although I am a big fan and have seen 3 of them on solo tours seeing the whole label, besides SZA (sick) was incredible.

The TDE Kendrick Lamar both played amazing sets that included almost all of their hit records and most popular songs. There was great production and there was a little bit of every type of style.

From beginning to end the TDE crew had so much energy. I couldn't believe how well each performance was. If you have a chance do yourself a favor and be aapart of the Chimpionship Tour.

Show: amazing- Kendrick put on the best concert of my life. Venue: all good here, VIP area was great. Parking/transport: this was tough. Took forever to get out. Found a guy in a golf cart who drove us all the way thru Fair Park to Deep Ellingson. His was awesome!

The lineup was amazing, all the artists were bomb, and of course Kendrick killed it. The only bummers where that Lance Skiiiwalker only sang one song, what's up with that? And it took us over 2 hours to get out of the parking lot!! They really need to improve the exits out of that place!!

Kendrick Lamar clearly has mad love and pride for his City of Angels. The lineup for the show was simple and covered his local label s gamut. Only the most relevant tracks made it into rotation and each of his artists were given the stage to do their thing. It s impossible to ignore the obvious - the concert was all about Sza and Kendrick and rightfully so. Sza has some amazing pipes. Uniquely the most emotive I ve heard in a long time. Mr Lamar is a masterful hip hop impresario. There are no words to describe his genius except to just say Thank God.

So dope. That's all I can say. And I would leave it at that if I weren't required to write more. Sza was awesome and had a refreshing vibe, Kendrick killed it as usual. The whole team..Go LA! Go Top Dawg! #westcoast #madukeyproductions

I had the best night ever especially being in the front row and seeing Kendrick Lamar was amazing I love him I am such a huge fan

Great show although the setup was a fail from where I was seated at since one of the banner were in the way of everything. The artists only used the middle portion of the stage. Security was pretty tough in that they didn t allow us to record or stand up against the railing by the stage even though I had front row seats. Besides that wasn t too bad, but definitely not worth seeing from where I was seated. In other words don t get an outer seat ticket.

I wanted to fly to Cali and catch the next show it was soooo good. Only thing I would change is I was sitting 8 rows away in a side section and there banners were in the way I would change that part ASAP

Fantastic show, we had floor seats and for being a short person I had a view of the stage 100% of the time. Getting in/out of the venue takes some time, so allow yourself extra time to get yourself into the show, or else you will be running to your seats to not miss anything.

This is my 2nd time going to see Kendrick Lamar in concert and he is FIRE!! Very well worth the monies paid. However after spending $800 + for to VIP Gold Tickets last year and missing the opportunity for the Meet/Greet and spending $550 + for 2 VIP Silver Hot Seat tix and still no Meet & Greet...we were very disappointed. The VIP Nation staff were not helpful and gave me the run around...I was told that since I called 2-4 days prior to concert I couldn't be put on the list. I will not purchase VIP ever again.

Was expecting a longer show with bettter performances and SZA, the main act didn t show up, in really disappointed for the price I paid and how long it took to get there .

Concert was absolutely amazing! The venue was the coolest amphitheatre I ve ever been to. Only downfall with the venue is the large posts that were within the inside of the amphitheatre, they tended to block views. There are screens on both sides of the stage that help if your view is blocked (or semi blocked as mine was), but it still stinks to have to watch the screens instead of being able to see the performers on stage. The lineup of performers was great! SZA didn t perform, which was a let down. But the rest of the TDE family killed their performances and Kendrick s closing act was insane.

I think it s very unprofessional to advertise a show to include an artist and then they don t show up. There was no acknowledgement that she was even suppose to be there either. I understand that she has something going on with her vocal cords but it still would have been nice for someone to let us know. She could have also came out and lip synced. Or someone could have replaced her. Very disappointing! Next time be upfront and apologetic, as many fans only showed up for her. A refund option should have been available before the show. I m only giving 2 stars because Kendrick was amazing!

I was upset because SZA wasn't there. I paid to see her so while I was waiting and waiting and she never came out I asked my friend and she told me she wasn't coming out. I would've sold my ticket if I knew this /:

The only reason I purchased tickets was to see SZA and she wasn t there. Otherwise, the concert was boring. I would like my money back but I know that that won t happen.

I truly enjoyed the concert! I am a huge TDE fan and my favorite part was when Jay Rock performed his part on Money Trees ❤️❤️❤️ Nothing but love!!

The venue has giant pillars that make it very hard to see stage from lawn. Very disappointed that there was never an announcement that one of the top acts Sza would not be performing. Kendrick was amazing as always.

What a show! From Q, to jay rock, ab soul, to kendrick everyone brought their "A" game! Kendrick is a great performer. At one point, the DJ mixed the same record twice which was a mistake but kendrick went with it and it went over with no problem. Showmanship at its finest. I'd go see TDE again.

The one person I really believe everyone wanted to see (SZA) didn't perform. In chicago tickets are costly for everything out here. So this concert gets a C grade.

Kendrick was the best show period! School Boy Q rocked the House.

I was excited, I really love the artist set to preform. I was heart broken that the artist canceled with no warning or explaination.

I have been to a lot of concerts at Tinley Park. The venue is nice but the real reason I went to this concert was I really love SZA. Couldn t afford tickets for her shows earlier in the year but this was better even if it meant her stage time was cut. She was the second biggest name in the lineup so I thought she d still get decent stage time. She never came out though there was no real explanation why and they were still selling her merch and everything with signs still had her name. It was the biggest let down of any concert I ve been to. You come with intentions to see one specific person and everything doesn t turn out right. The other performs were fine. Kendrick was fun but I myself came to see SZA.

I d rather stick my hand in a blender than ever go back here.
