I have been a fan of Tyler Perry's work for ages, have the full DVD collection of plays, movies, etc. This was my first time actually seeing him LIVE on Saturday (9/5/15). The play was funny, engaging, hilarious, inspiring, spiritually filling and just truly amazing. It was so good that I purchased tickets to go back the next day. If I could afford it I would go to every single one of the shows. I can't say it enough, it is definitely a must see!

I have attended Tyler Perry productions before, but never with Medea. It was fantastic. If I could I would see it again. Tyler Perry and his cast are so talented, bring forth so much laughter, and has the whole audience singing along. I couldn't get enough and the show was over too soon for me. If you can go see it, do so, and take family and friends with you.

The stage play "Madea On The Run" was awesome! From the beginning to the end! Madea & Aunt Bam were hilarious. He chose some great singers for this play too. I was only familiar with 3 people in this particular play (including Tyler), but the new people were pretty good. Overall it was a great show and I would definitely recommend going to see it if you need a good laugh and a great message!!!!

My family loves Tyler Perry, and we were first introduced to his work with "The Diary of a Mad Black Woman". Ever since, we have watched his movies and plays and make it a point to go to the theatre when they are playing. We found out his play was coming to Charlotte, NC and we HAD to see it. There is no descriptive word good enough to express how much we enjoyed the performance, acting, singing, tributes, jokes, real life occurrences, etc. We would love to see his performance again and would highly recommend everyone watch his shows, plays, etc. because they are worth watching. You might learn something and realize something within yourself as well. Thank you Tyler Perry, and thank you Ovens Auditorium for hosting his performance!

This was the first play I have seen live. It was so amazing. The cast was awesome and it was good to see new talent.I took my mother as an early Mother's Day gift. The look on her face was priceless. Seeing her happy made it all worth while. We will definitely make this a ritual.

This is an amazing play and filled with lots of messages and fun. Tyler Perry plays are definitely an excellent experience and something everyone should attend. His messages delivered throughout the play and the singing and actors are amazing. Aunt Bam and Madea are the highlights of the play and so funny, but I love the fact that Tyler Perry develops characters in which you can relate to them or you can hate them, lol. I love all of his shows and plays. He is an amazing writer and I definitely love the fact that he gives people an opportunity to fulfill their dreams and be successful. Save and go see a Tyler Perry play.

This play could not have been better!!! It is Broadway-worthy- even without choreographed dance numbers! The music is great, the singing phenomenal, and the cast consummate professionals! The show was tailored to our city because there was mention of malls and neighborhoods specific to us! Madea interacted with the audience, and even broke character sometimes when the humor was even too much for her to stand!! There are moments of encouragement and wisdom seldom seen in any other stage productions. And we especially love the old-school music throwbacks that get the audience singing along! It was a mixed crowd and it just proves that everybody loves Madea!! Thanks for coming to Winston-Salem! We had a phenomenal time!!

AWSOME Play! My first live Tyler Perry play heard very good things about it. But to see it for myself it was Very Funny all the way through. Every scene had a real moment that you would or could learn from in your on journey in life. :-) Money well spent, but it really would have been AWSOME to see the cast afterwards but it was another show right afterwards. :-(

I bought the tickets as a Valentine's Day gift to my daughter and we took my 70 year old mother with us. She was so tickled the entire show. She was so pleased that she gave me the BIGGEST hug ever. I took my husband for his birthday weekend bash. We were excite to see the play . The show from the beginning to the end was full of laughter dancing and singing. We were please with the enjoyment from the show especially with the words of God and the fact of what is going on in the worlds with drugs .Tyler Perrys is a smart talent sweet person who we wish more success . My family and I love Madea, we have seen all of her plays but seeing her live for the first times was a truly amazing experience. She connects with the audience and the advice that she gives resonates with a lot of the situations that many individuals face. This play was truly funny, I loved that there was more dialog than singing, although the voices were incredible. Loved to see Aunt Bam for the fist time as well, she's an awesome character. I wish they had VIP tickets so that we can meet them in person, unfortunately, there wasn't any. Will definitely see another play again and this time; front seats!

I went with my co-worker Debra and her best friend. We had a great time at the play. Debra and I brought a program our seats where five rows from the stage. I loved sitting that close to the stage. All three of us laughed so hard Tyler Perry has done it again doing what he does best making people laugh. I told my friends to go and see it if comes back to Washington DC. I can't wait for it to be out on DVD. Better yet the movie I know it's going to be great.

I have attended many of Tyler Perry plays and I enjoy all of his work. The experience as a whole was amazing as usual. The cast was awesome, the show started on time, the staff of the venue were very courteous.I enjoyed myself as always!

This was my first time seeing a Tyler Perry play live(although I have many plays and movies) and I must say it was AWESOME. The entire cast did an amazing job. Tyler was in rare form(with his knowledge of the area Norfolk,VA) and used that in his sometimes off scripted acting. Thank you Mr.Perry for bringing your play to my area which gave me the opportunity to see it. Superb Job

I enjoyed this play to the upmost! I love me some Tyler Perry!!! He brought the laughter like only he know how. His players were wonderful. The singing made you want sing. And the tribute to Prince was touching.

From making references to the malls in the area & mentioning local cities the crowd is familiar with to sharing personal stories & stopping to provide life lessons to the Prince tribute, Tyler Perry & his casts professionalism was awe inspiring! What balance!!! We laughed, we got serious & we remembered an iconic figure! It was a great show from start to finish!

It was an excellant production! Even the impromptu pieces were smoothly implemented into the show. While Madea(Tyler Perry) was the star the lead actress from House of Payne almost stole the show. The different voices blended beautifully to create memorable singing moments, and overall the acting was good. It was nice to be a part of this history; this was the last stop of this year and a half long running production as well as it being Madea's "swan song". For those who didn't see it you missed a treat, for those of us who did it's one we won't soon forget.

Madea, Aunt Bam, and the entire cast were Excellent. Even through the comedy there were so many life lessons being taught. Real talk Real life situations. I took my mom for her birthday and as a pre mother's day gift and she was elated. The tribute to Prince was an added treat and so heartfelt. Tyler Perry you did it again. Thanks for bringing such quality entertainment to Norfolk, VA. Much Love and God's Blessings to you Mr. Perry.

The play was great! It lived up to my expectations. The chemistry between Aunt Bam and Madea was so much fun! Tasha Page-Lockhart's singing was out of this world. It was exciting to see that "Eddie" and "Hannah" were sitting three rows in front of me!
