Awesome concert both artists looked and sounded phenomenal. Billy sang All of his most memorable hits and he sounded fantastic. Taylor Dane on the other hand disappointed me a little did not sing my favorite song Love Will Lead you Back. Totally surprising since this was a very big hit for her!!

The Billy Ocean show at the Canyon Club was fabulous! The venue was great as always with everyone friendly and helpful. My waitress, Sandy, was wonderful. This was the first time I had seen Billy Ocean in concert after listening to him for the past maybe 40 years, and he was fantastic. He put on one of the best shows I ve ever seen. Along with phenomenal music, he made the audience\u2014each one of us\u2014feel like we were at a party, not just watching a show but with us all joining in the joy. He greeted us all so warmly and had comments between some of the songs that made each one special. The man never stops moving!\u2014and is obviously having so much fun that all of us were drawn into his happiness. Billy Ocean s group is special too. I loved watching the interaction between them all, and it was good to meet them when Mr. Ocean introduced them. When he finished over an hour of music and left the stage we couldn t believe the magic had ended, but shortly the audience took up the chant, Billy\u2014Billy\u2014Billy! First the group of musicians then Billy came out on the stage for two more songs!!! I m still living that evening in my mind and singing the songs to myself! I wish I could follow him around and see every one of his shows!

I was surprised to see more performances than the two listed on the ticket. They were all professional and I enjoyed the show very much.

This was an amazing concert! The Wildhorse Saloon was the perfect venue. Mr. Ocean puts on a great performance and interacts with the crowd! His voice sounds as good as it did in the 80 s and he still has great moves. We loved the show!

I waited a long time to see BIlly Ocean and was not disapointed by the show and performance. His voice was as good as the records and his band was tight. I was so glad he came to Nashville. However, where was everybody? That would be the only disapointment.....the crowd or lack of it. Probably the smallest crowd at a concert I've ever seen. Tickets were resonable, the band was great, billy sounded awseome and he performed all those hits. Thank you Billy for the stopping by the Wild Horse!!!!!!

Just saw Billy Ocean and was completely impressed! I've always been a fan and was so thrilled to see a performer who looks even better than when they began, sound and move just the same. Fun show! Don't miss Billy Ocean if he is in a venue near you!

We waited from 5:30 till 9:00 to see him but it was worth the wait. We had so much fun with music and watching other people enjoying him, too. Very unifying with people from all races getting together and enjoying such a wonderful concert. He gave us a good show! Nice venue, too.

Billy Ocean show was awesome. He put on a great show and really worked the crowd. I seen him when he originally came to Nashville several years ago and was good then. I would recommend this show to everyone, young and old alike. You will definitely enjoy it. Thanks Billy for a great show. Keep jamming the music

I took my girlfriend because she is a huge Billy Ocean fan. I remember a couple of his songs, but wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I surprised! He put on a fantastic show, I was blown away! We went to the meet and greet afterwards, and he was such a gracious and kind gentleman. I am definitely a fan now. Thank you Mr. Ocean for an unforgettable night!!!!

Awesome show....Wonderful crowd. The change over of the band took very long but the host of the show was fabulous.....The host was phenomenal.

It was on time, well put together. I give it 4 stars because of Billie Ocean. His performance was timeless. Better than the younger performers. They were great too, not as great as Billy Ocean. The acoustics for the performers before Billy did not have the clarity nor the crispness it should have had

The crowd was very enthusiastic (many waving Jamaican or Trinidad flags for Independence Day) and it was nice to have chairs to sit on but the chairs also made it difficult to dance anywhere, and really subdued the crowd dynamic. The sound quality was also very poor throughout the show. Maxi Priest clearly still has an outstanding voice but the distortion and mix made it hard to tell (his voice was quieter than those he was dueting with). Also, there was little or no information about start times for the various acts. There were 2-3 opening acts BEFORE Maxi Priest we didn't know would be there. We left before Billy Ocean started.

Best concert I've ever attended by far. And I have attended a number of music concerts over the years.

My main reason for going was to see Billy Ocean... The concert started at 8PM... Billy didn't come on until maybe midnight!!! Everyone was exhausted by then from all the previous performers!!! Billy Ocean of course was UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!! He is amazing!!!

I couldnt believe how his voice sounded not a day older or any different from what you heard on the radio in the 80's! Had my best time at a concert ever at this one! I recommend anyone who knows or doesn't know who Billy Ocean is to go to his concert-incredible voice and fun performance! :)

THE RSO SOUNDED AWESOME. IT HAD BEEN YEARS SINCE I ATTENDED ONE OF THEIR CONCERTS, BUT WILL BE BACK. BILLY OCEAN'S PART OF NIGHT...WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE FUN AND EXCITEMENT HE BROUGHT TO THE VENUE. I THOUGHT MANY A TIME THAT THE ORCHESTRA MEMBERS WERE GOING TO GET TO THEIR FEET AND START DANCING AS WELL. THE AUDIENCE WAS QUICKLY INVOLVED IN THE SHOW, MANY OF WHOM TOOK TO THE FLOOR GYRATING TO THE MUSIC. MANY TIMES I SAW THE HORN SECTION OF THE ORCHESTRA BOBBING BACK AND FORTH. WAS OVERALL AN EXCELLENT SHOW, AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT PRODUCTION.

Fantastic concert. His voice is as strong and pure as it was 30 years ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

The show was fantastic. Ten times better then expected. Billy's voice is in prime condition. Billy Ocean was very energetic and his band was perfect. Billy performed ALL of his Hits. If Billy brings his rare performance to your area, do not hesitate. GO TO THE SHOW. One of the better R&B Shows i've ever seen. The sound quality at this event is great. The only problem was the staff. The Staff at the Motorcity are flat out RUDE and vulgar. Billy's band tried to pull us backstage off to the side and some "Motorcity manager" treated us with complete utter disrespect. He jumped in front of us and would not let us through as the band members yelled at him to let us through. The language that he used towards us was jaw dropping. This was very odd. Thank you to Billy Ocean for putting on a brilliant performance, if he had not, the experience would be over-shadowed by the rude staff. Billy Ocean A+ Motorcity Sound B+ Staff F-

Simply a delight and beautiful music with a sail down memory lanes

Billy Ocean was incredible! great suprise-voice was as good as I remembered from the '80's. His band and backup singers were awesome! Great energy- does not seem 61 (more like 31!)

This concert was a surprise birthday present for my husband -- who before this concert was not a Billy Ocean fan. He is one now!! Billy Ocean's voice quality was so good it was hard to believe we weren't listening to a recorded track. This was also our first time at the Sound Board; we will be looking for more concerts at this venue -- absolutely LOVED it!!

When I arrived at the Soundboard, I was pleasantly surprised to find I had a real seat closer to the stage then I thought. I was surprised at how Billy had aged and the greying/white dreadlocks threw me a little. He still has that charisma and danced around and treated his fans to an evening of great memories. I waited patiently all evening for him to sing "Caribbean Queen". He didn't disappoint me and sang it and that made me smile. So glad I went,...an amazing evening! Hope you will have him back there soon.

This concert was amazing, I would do it all over again if given the opportunity. Was privileged to meet him after the show and he is such a likable person. I have no regrets and would recommend his fans to see him again... his soul is youthful and his music is beautiful beyond words.

The concert was incredible. Billy Ocean sounded fantastic!! His vocals are just as good as ever!! His band was also very good. I travelled 4 hrs. to see him perform and I was not disappointed. I would love to see him again. I wish he would come to Connecticut. Either one of the casino's, Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun would be a great place to see him.

Show was phenomenal. Billy took us on an emotional journey to the Love Zone. Suddenly, all the Caribbean Queens got Outta My Dreams, and Got Into My Car. All the Loverboys showed their Mystery Ladies the Colour of Love. When it was all said and done, The Going did indeed Get Tough, but Billy showed us how the Tough Got Going.

Great concert in a great venue. He was very engaging with the crowd without getting pulled away from performing. At 66 years old, he sounded great and went well longer than expected. Glad I made the trip to Atlantic City. Just wish her performed more frequently in the US. Also, I was worried that he would play a lot of his new stuff, but glad he stuck 90% with the oldies he is so well known for. Come back soon Billy.

I had always loved Billy Ocean's music so when I saw he was coming to Jersey, I grabbed a ticket right away. From the start of the show I was not disappointed. His voice sounded incredible and his band was one of the tightest I've heard in a long time. He was great with the fans and he had that great smile the whole show. I look forward to seeing him again!

Billy Ocean's show was sensational. He employed a superb live stage band and played all his hits from the past. I would buy tickets again if he stops this way.

The concert was excellent!!! Billy Ocean put on a wonderful performance. He sounds the same as he did in the 80's. He performed his songs as well as perfect remakes of some of the classics that are near and dear to his heart. EXCELLENT performance!!!

TWO WORDS - EXCELLENT SHOW!!!!! FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END - WHAT A GREAT PERFORMANCE

I have been a HUGE Billy Ocean fan since the 1980s and still remember seeing him in concert in 1988. It was one of the best concerts I had ever attended. Since then, I have been hoping he would come back to San Jose and have been keeping an eye out but no luck. I gladly drove 6 hours from San Jose to LA when I saw he would be appearing there. I must say the concert was unforgettable. He may look different (with all that beautiful white hair) however, he sounds just as good as he did in the 1980s--it was astonishing. He sang ALL of his hit songs for almost 2 hours and he sang them with every ounce of his being. His voice was phenomenal and he showed off some great dance moves! He even sang some cover songs of artists who had inspired him and he sang the songs better than the original artists! I still get goose bumps thinking about his rendition of Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come". Billy Ocean had such loving energy that the crowd really connected with him and when the concert was over--we still wanted more. In fact, I loved the concert so much that I decided to attend his concert in Modesto 2 nights later (a 2 hour drive). Another phenomenal show in a beautiful setting and my heart was full at the end of the concert. Now I am finding myself obsessed with Billy Ocean and listening to his music every day. If you have a chance to see him live, go see him. . .you will not be disappointed because he puts on a phenomenal show!

He brought the audience to its feet with song after song. He still has an incredible voice. Excellent show!

Very good performance Billy Ocean was a fantastic performer

Billy Ocean's vocal performance was stellar - still in command of his powerful, unique voice - in some ways better live than the original music CD's. A ballads master he hit every note effortlessly, with many upper octaves clearly and appropriate volume. What impressed me most was Billy's obvious passion to deliver his songs as best possible - and aware of his audience and alert to surroundings. Billy several times between stanzas would glance over to the stage side and signal via obvious intentional glance to musicians/technicians dissatisfaction with audio volume or maybe an incorrectly played instrument. Don't be surprised by Billy's elderly statesman, suited stage appearance as it was obvious he was in command of everything, even signaled to nearby security a few times when someone in the audience needed 'attention'. Billy energized what I know as the 'Indiana' non-participative audience with skill. The typical Hoosier crowd sat in their seats for several songs, and frequently Billy would engage/entice them through banter to dance, sing and 'get in trouble' with him that night. You knew sooner or later, Billy would get what he wanted, which were people standing, singing and dancing to his songs. Well before the end of the concert, Billy had the audience all up singing, clapping and who could, dancing. Hoosier crowds are tough to get anywhere near this involvement (and in many cases - no standing ovation at all), and Billy did it, he wasn't going to give up and got what he wanted. Billy sung many of the top-40 'favorites', and had one small set of 3 songs that were covers of other singers (in the vein of Sinatra, etc.) but virtually all were his popular hits. The show lasted almost 2 hours non-stop (no intermission, no intro bands). Billy had many dance moves to entertain the crowd (and mostly get the women hollering)! He spoke briefly of his Trinidad roots and recent South Africa tour. Knowing he is an international star (top black European music artist with 30 million records sold), wish there were more time for him to tell a few tales from his travels. He is just such a personable guy and you know he'd entertain singing or with casual talk to no end. My spouse said the music speaker system was sub-par, as voice clarity when Billy spoke was a little garbled (partially due to his rich accent), but I would have to agree that the speakers seemed a bit over-modulated and curious what he would have used for a larger venue. Hoosier Park stage is only about 30 rows deep, not expansive but is cozy. We were seated in the second row, stage left - and almost was able to shake Billy's hand as he exited the stage. He did make eye contact with the audience well, including myself - you could tell when he was looking right at you, his concentration is very focused.... The other item of which I wasn't aware was a 'meet and greet' opportunity - maybe extended only to his fan club members. At the end of the concert, several patrons lined up off stage and subsequent Facebook posts revealed their meeting with Billy. Oh, the stories Billy could have told! I hope Billy returns to Indianapolis at least one more time in his career, but my guess is he has many cities beckoning his performances so it would take an act of a promoter god to get him to return. Might take years, if at all. I don't attend many concerts, but Billy Ocean's is one I am glad I did and will remember. There are a few musicians/bands on my 'short list' and Billy's one of them.

This concert was AWESOME! Billy Ocean really knows how to bring a diverse crowd together in complete harmony. Everyone was singing and swaying to the grooves of the 80's while reminiscing about the days of ... not so far away. I had a wonderful time! Thanks Billy, for bringing a little if the Caribbean to Indiana.

You could close your eyes and it felt like you went back in time. Billy's voice sounded wonderful! I would pay to see him again!!

One of the best concerts I have ever been to. This man is a true entertainer and showman.

Billy Ocean put on an excellent show this evening. A great mixture of old and new. He even performed "Love Train", an old motown staple. HIs voice was in fine form although he tired toward the end of the set. Understandable, as Billy is 63 years old. He definitely has his own style and groove, easy to dance to, which I and my girlfriend were glad to do. Would highly recommend this show.

His performance sounded like the original recordings he did over 30 years ago. The show started a little late but when he arrived on stage, he sang none stop for two hours. His daughter is one of his back-up singers which I thought was pretty awesome. I love attending concerts at the Delta Downs venue. The event center is just the right size for a small concert. I attended with my daughter, my sister and her daughter. Even though my daughter didn't know him, ( she is only 32) she loved his music. I would definitely attend another concert by Billy Ocean.

Enjoyed all his hits, Billy still has it. Whether it's his moves or his strong vocals. He puts on a great show.

Billy Ocean was amazing, he never missed a beat and his voice was as strong as ever. He was really intimate with the crowd allowing for fans to come right up to the stage for pictures and handshakes...and a few kisses and hugs! The band was class act as well. He did a little story telling in between songs sharing with the crowd some things about himself that we didn't know. Definitely recommend this venue as it is very cozy and intimate and a great place for a musician such as Ocean.

Billie Ocean was Fantastic! I have not been to a concert in years and by far this was the best. The music was to die for, of course the era was when artist had talent. His voice is magical! He know how work a crowd and please them. We were allowed to take pictures and even shake his hand. Where will he be in concert again? I'll be there.

Billy Oean is AMAZING! For such a small man out comes this huge voice. He is such a good entertainer and singer. He does not need anything on stage other than himself, his band and his vocal ability. This was the first time I have been to his concert and what a surprise it was. I already knew he is a fantastic singer but to listen to him in person goes beyond all my expectations. Great band members. He has a really great thing going. I am surprised that you don't see him much on award shows etc. he is an amazing entertainer. Would love to see him again in the future.

Billy Ocean performs was better than expected. He was so nice and so personable. His voice hasn't changed. If I closed my eye I would have thought I was listening to him back in the 80's. I hope he keeps touring, I would see him again. I go to about 6 concerts a year and his was at the top.

I was told this would be a family event you could bring your kids too. No one said there would be an opening act .. Electric Hears..worst band I had ever seen in Nashville. People asked the staff it it was a joke. Only 25 % of there band was there. The lead singer female sound like a squeaky guitar and took her boots off on stage to be more "Janice Joplin" Billy came out around 9:15 and didn't get into his good set until 925 in which we had to leave because the family was so tired. Billy has a great voice still but was experiencing technical difficulties the whole time and he was not happy.

I am a huge reggae fan and have gone to several concerts... Every year Jamrock does an amazing show, always better than the year before.... Already looking forward to next year!!!!

Billy Ocean is one of my favorite singers. We traveled to Gulfport from Memphis, TN to see him. I keep track of his performances in the United States as he doesn't perform much here. He should perform more because we love him in this country too. He sang all the songs we wanted to hear. We were in motion the entire concert.

My mother and I enjoyed the performance. He can still hit all his notes beautifully! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wouldn't mind seeing him again! Great job, Mr. Billy!

I was fortunate enough to see Replay America last nite at the Sandia Resort in Albuquerque. There were five acts and Billy Ocean was simply incredible. His smooth, his silk voice, his nice moves on the stage. For a 67-year-old singer he put on an exceptional show. There was a lot of passion and fire in his eyes and voice. I would see him again. His band, backup singers were top notch. It made for a memorable night. II was very disappointed that the outdoor amphitheater wasn't full. Taylor Dayne who was the third act to go also put on a sultry performance with her sexy moves. She also was a pleasant surprise. She should have been the No. 4 act to go on and not Starship. The present Starship is disappointing after the death of Marty Ballin several years ago. I got to see Starship in Santa Fe before he died. But see Replay America if you get a chance.

Billy Ocean's show was absolutely amazing. I was not only impressed with his vocals, but also with his energy. He was on stage singing non-stop for approximately 90 minutes. The band and back-up singers added to the special evening of entertainment.

Good job Mr. Ocean. How often do artists start a show within 5 minutes of the time listed on the ticket and then belt out songs for 1.5 hours?

If Billy stops anywhere near your town you must go! Billy's voice is amazing and he still moves like he did in he 80's. This is a must see show.

I was quite disappointed to see her perform on stage with an UGLY BLUE TARP covering up the drumset for Billy Ocean drummer. That was TACKY. Couldn't they find a plain black drape or something to cover the drum set? Other than that, the venue was great and we had amazing seats. Overall, very entertaining and fun!!

Taylor Dayne put on a great show. If you're a fan of her music, or her vocal abilities, you won't be disappointed. She's very talented and connects with her audience. Billy Ocean also put on a great show. He was even better than I expected, and had an amazing band. He also connects with his audience, and gives 101% to his audience and to his show. Taylor Dayne still looks amazing, it's like she just keeps getting prettier.

It was incredible! The set list was great with all the classics

Started out sluggish with about four songs I never heard before. Then shifted into high gear and overall was a very good concert. Billy has great rapport with the audience and is a real gentleman. The band was very tight, disciplined and professional. Most songs sounded better than the CD. If they were able to incorporate a few sax, drum and keyboard solos into a few songs and play a few songs from other artists instead of the four mediocre ones nobody has ever heard of, it would change the performance from very good to stellar.

The concert on Friday featuring Billy Ocean and Taylor Dayne was way better than I expected. I am so glad I went.

Let me start off as saying I've been to a lot of concerts in my life of 6 decades so far, this was really, really well done. Band was tight, sound was great (5th row) Billy Ocean did a great job, sounds just like the recordings and they extended the songs as well! Audience participated, venue looked to be sold out, was just a great show, no regrets. Only one issue was Billy's mic volume, was too low at times then was good. But getting back to the band, music was clear and not too overloud, didn't miss a beat. Also, just wanted to say, Taylor Dane as the opening act looked great, she clearly takes good care of herself. She did a good job as well but the mic also had spells that detracted a bit from the experience.

Taylor Dayne was spectacular!. She looked beautiful and sounded great. She sang her best hits and a few from other artists and pumped the audience for Billy Ocean. Billy was a bit disappointing. How can you not sing Suddenly?? He opened with 3 songs that were not part of my favorites. The rest of his show was good. He looked awesome too. This venue is great and you can see the show from all the way back perfectly fine.

First time to Pompano Amphitheatre, really enjoyed the venue and the performances, great crowd, had an awesome time! Went to this concert due to reviews of his, so glad that I did!

The sound was perfect the sound guys are good or I should say phenomenal I felt like I was in the studio! his band also was amazing the back up singers amazing he was all over the place like he was 21 I love this Bob Marley song that he did the guy is still got it don't miss Billy Ocean it was a great show!

My Fiance and I could not stop dancing! He rocks! He can still sing and dance with passion. His voice on love songs makes your date melt!

Have waited and wondered where Billy Ocean has been for years. Was he ill, incapacitated, deceased? The good news is Billy is just fine! He's now a silver fox and looking and sounding better than ever. Great set, great band, excellent show! He performed all of his songs we know and love, covered a couple of other songs, and something from his upcoming album. Could not have asked for more. Have been singing his music in my head for a week!
