My first festival to attend and I can't believe that I've missed out on not attending the previous nine shows.

Lisa Lisa opened with the Hip Hop Classic, I Wonder If I Take You Home. Everyone cheering and singing along as she sang some very familar songs. But when the 5 foot singer began to sing the bitter sweet song, All Cried Out, it seemed like the entire audience pushed closer to the stage to get a better look at the original latin diva. She gave an outstanding show; full of energy and her voice was really good. Highlights included Let The Beat Hit Em, All Cried Out and a new song called Stand but the entire set was good, about 45 minutes or so. Opening act, Kangol Kid of UTFO was really good too.

Lisa Lisa was an AWESOME show! The old skook DJ was great! Love this venue and would love to see more 80's legends play here!

Great concert, took me back in time! Could not stop dancing. The whole set-up from food, drinks and music was done right

I loved the concert overall; but there were too many people. I was disappointed that Sheila E. and Expose' weren't there on Saturday Night, those 2 were the ones I REALLY wanted to see. Not that I didn't enjoy myself otherwise.

Loved this concert! Great artists and music from back in the day. The VIP tickets were definitely worth it. Would go again next year. I would have gone every year if I knew about it.

Was disappointed only because when I bought my tickets, I bought them because of whom was gonna perform and to my surprise 5 artists didn't not perform. So that was diffenitly wrong and I'm not to happy about that. And the DJ played more Oldschool then freestyle music witch was another let down. The only thing that made my night was Trinere, LisaLisa, The cover girls what a show!!

Can't wait for another... This event was freaking awesome!!

I can't get enough of the 4 hours of great music and performances. It was my 2nd Freestyle concert at this venue and I hope to go again in February. I just can't get enough...

it was a great show everyone was standing dancing sold out show after party at a club called love with free entry with ticket stub from concert they where playing the songs at the club love in like 10 minutes away from concert in carl place near westburry but it was great the energy and dj chef it was great dancers

Loved the show! Did not stop dancing since Giggles came out! Hearing this music and being around people who lived through the Freestyle era was amazing! Brought me back to the days of Emerald City, 1018, 4D and the summers in the Jersey Shore! Love Freestyle

It was an amazing evening, the venue was perfect. Had soo much fun. The night was full of energy.

Very entertaining and awesome show - wish they would bring more of these shows to Texas!

I got what i was expecting from this show: chicks i loved years ago playing their biggest hits for an adoring nostalgic crowd. As much as i would have loved to hear some more deep cuts from Exposé, it was a pleasure to finally see them perform in person and they sounded fantastic. As well, they took over the stage with finesse and really had a solid presence. Tiffany sounded especially amazing, her vocals have truly developed well over the course of her career. The only awkward thing about the show was the Band that, for 90% of the show, pretty much just pantomimed with their instruments while backing tracks ran that sounded like they utilized the original masters from the original hit recordings. I felt bad for the band who would at times have to deal with the backing track fading out and find a subtle way to incorperate that into how there were playing. They looked like competent players but it just seemed incredibly unnecessary. It was a great time overall.

The show opened up with Tiffany. I loved that she interacted with the audience. Lisa Lisa & The Cult Jam was the life of the party. We danced the entire time! Expose jammed as well with their choreographed dance moves. It was great to see such a great performance. I didn't expect to have this much fun!!

Had a great time. Thought the crowd attendance could have been better with better promotion. I found out they were coming only a month in advanced. They all did tremendous with their performances...Expose' didn't age at all, Tiffany was amazing. Was really surprised that Lisa Lisa sang only 1 verse and the chorus of two of her biggest hits and meshed them together. Didn't like the fact that the crowd kept trying to take pictures while the artists were performing. That was annoying and security didn't do much about it. There were VIP meet and greet tickets people could have purchased if they wanted to get things signed, you don;t do it in the middle of the concert. For Expose' headlining and to only sing 4 songs was a little disappointing. Wish the band was actually playing and not partly playing over an audio track.

I was looking forward to this concert from the moment I heard about it. I was so disappointed the per show music was TERRIBLE. Tiffany was okay, Lisa Lisa I must say at least good out of your seat. EXPOSÉ , my long time favorite. It was TERRIBLE!!! Not even sure they actually sang. It was a lame concert. Concert tickets were over priced.

Beautiful ladies. Vocals were great for all three, Tiffany, Lisa Lisa, Expose. Amazing show.

I'm glad they all came back to San Antonio. I really wish that more freestyle musicians would come here an d set up an event with assigned seats rather than first come first serve type concerts! I'd go see them more often!

Wife song along with every song. She loved the show so that was good enough for me.

The ladies were incredible ! The only down side is that their performance was too short.

She sounded just like she always has. She sounds just like she does on the radio! Beautiful voice!

KLYMAXX ROCKED THE JOINT...BERNADETTE WAS HER USUAL DIVA SELF...JOYCE"FENDERELLA" IRBY EVEN DID A TRIBUTE TO THE LATE GREAT LEGEND MICHAEL JACKSON...WHICH ALLOW ME TO SPAZZ OUT...JJ FAD HAD DJ EGYPTIAN LOVER IN THE HOUSE WHICH I THOUGHT WAS AWESOME. AND LISA LISA ROCKED ALL OF HER CLASSICS AS WELL...EVERYONE LOOKED FABULOUS, AND STILL SOUNDED LIKE WE WERE IN THE 80'S GREAT SHOW OVERALL!!!

I didn't expect much but the show was AWESOME!!\\ Great venue!! The place was really nice. it was a beauiful night - they played unitl about 11:30. The DJ they had was great. I forgot how many great songs she had. And they had plenty of bars and beer stations open so you didn't have to wait.

This show was great. I did feel like the tracks were new because it sounded great! No disappoint here what so ever. My wife and I had a blast.

They played every old school jam song there was and it brought the house down. I am so glad I went!!

I thought the show was really fun and it was great to see the ENTIRE audience singing. It was fun to see everyone dancing to the beats and I'm sure it brought back lots of memories for those of us that grew up in the 80's. However, Lisa Lisa could not hit those high notes that she once belted out and the sound of her voice seemed to be washed out by the bass and drums. You could barely hear the vocals but since the entire audience was helping, it was okay. She only played for 40 minutes maybe and for $12 tickets, I could not complain. But if she was going to hit the stage one more time, she should have better prepared her voice and made those 40 minutes even better. I'm not sure if the sound engineer meant to wash out her voice or if she just couldn't sing. I enjoyed listening to what she could sing and most of all the memories that came along with it. Jannus Landing renovations are EXCELLENT. Glad to see that someone put some money into this great venue. The bathrooms were clean and even had the best attendant, Coco! The bar areas were clean and fast service was provided. The prices were right on as well and brands were good.

Well, I'll put it to you this way she was good but not great...She is still a really good looking Mama and im not just saying that because i am spanish..She sang all her big hits which is why me and my friends went to see her...Rob Base stole the show..Yo he blew the roof off the house yo... That ain't no joke...

rob base , lisa lisa were great. good dj's and a great crowd. amazing venue.had a really great time and would def recommend checking it out next time they come around

Oh yeah this was a concert to remember! Can't wait for more to see in the future example Tony, Toni, Ton would me great to see and hear their old school music!!

It was a treat to see the well-picked lineup deliver an amazing performance. All performers brought their top hits for us to relive the good old days. Highly memorable and priceless!! I look forward to next year's Throwback Concert!

The musicians were great, the audio levels and spotlights were sub-par. The stage was set up to take up half of the arena and the audio levels were set up as if the full arena was filled up. It was way too loud and abrasive, and I m usually one to love the loud shows. Many acts had more than 2 performers, but there were only two spotlights so at least one person was always left in the dark. Other than that, good show.

Selection of tunes & artists were fantastic. Took me all the back to growing up in the good ole days! Haven t danced like that in s very long time. Thank you for an electrifying evening.

I was advertised Mary Jane Girls, they were a NO SHOW

This show was so much fun. It was interactive, the artists made it fun for the audience. We sang and danced through the entire show. It was like stepping back in time. I highly recommend going if given the chance!

One of the best freestyle events I have been to. Loved that the majority of these acts were headliners - Judy Torres was amazing!

On my feet dancing the whole time. Everyone was fun and there is not a bad seat at Westbury theater. If you like freestyle, you will love this show.

absolutely awesome (for lack of words). Been to a few. This was a small enough venue. Performers were great - as usual. Cocktails were themed for Halloween. Local.

The line-up of performers was excellent and the Theatre at Westbury was great. The stage revolves so every seat in the place was good.

The old school crowd rocked the house and got down. A lot of songs I remember a lot I didn't but they all were awesome. Got to give them all credit. Over 30 years ago they were rocking it. And today they are still going.

From The Start To The Finish Was Amazing! TACOS AND BEER! NACHOS AND HAMBURGERS. OH THE MUSIC TOOK YOU BACK TO THEM COOL DAYS.

show was great a couple of the performers during the meet and greet didn't really seem like you wanted to be there and the tickets the VIP tickets behind the stage were okay but there were some obstructions that made it hard to see get there early because they ran out of parking at the Queen Mary and has a shuttle shuttle us in and the will call ticket line was way too long in the VIP section there were no seats it was standing room only

The event was fun and an all around good time. The only problem I had was the lack of adequate porto-potties for the number of people.

Awesome concert kept us on our feet all night. This is the only way to go back. Queen Mary background was sweet. A great night to remember

The show was great but the sound system was distorted, too much bass. The parking situation was horrible along with the amount restrooms. The line up was great but I have no clue to as why Vanilla Ice was the headliner. He was the worst act in the line up and probably should have been the opening act or probably should have been left off of the line up all together. They also said the the concert was going to start at 5 but when I got to my seat I was told that they started early and we missed 3 performers. All in all it was still a great show.

The lineup with so many people scared me but I saw that the event was planned very well! I enjoyed the performances and the artists put forth great effort in pleasing the crowd and getting everyone involved. I look forward to seeing this show again!

Best show by far wish I could go back and be there again!!!!! Had a blast....no problems.....met new people great surrounding and beautiful view worth it in v.i.p

This festival is a must for everyone. There were all ages there enjoying themselves. If you ever loved the old hip hop music, this is the place to be. We even ran into Vanilla Ice in the Engine Room on the Queen Mary. Not many people can say that. Two thumbs up!!
