Pixar in Concert

It was fun and exciting. The coordinating of music and screen images was outstanding.

The TSO performance was amazing as usual and the videos accompanying the music were high tech and fantastic. My grandson, age 11, attended with me and immediately knew what PIXAR movie it represented upon seeing the first scene. I , together with my grandson along with his mother (my daughter) and my very good friend enjoyed the concert so very much. I continue to be amazed at the pure talent of the TSO orchestra. It was just a fabulous afternoon's entertainment. Also, the conductor, Ms. Corcoran, was terrific.

The audience was probably half kids and half adults. What a great way for kids to be introduced to a live orchestra and some really stunning music!

The seats were on the expensive side but I went with my six year old and she loved it. The music was moving and went perfectly with the video presentation. A perfect way to ease a young person into attending orchestral events.

All the kiddos loved it! It was a great opportunity to show them the connection between the importance of learning to play an instrument and how you can make it fun!

Took the grandkids to see PIXAR and they loved I. So did I. Their favorite was THE INCREDIBLES. Hope they do something like this again. We saw STAR WARS in concert a couple years ago and it was simply fabulous.

The show was well done and entertaining. We left happy.

A wonderful experience, the symphony was incredible and my teenage son and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. We laughed, we cried and had fun reminiscing about the Pixar movies we watched together as he was growing up. What a great way to expose kids to the joys of playing an instrument!

An outstanding performance by the TSO. It was easy to forget that a large symphony orchestra was sitting right in front of us performing the music from the numerous Pixar films that were featured. Really a treat!

We loved it! What a wonderful afternoon experience. My nieces loved the "James Bond" - Cars 2 piece. Wonderful!

TSO did a beautiful job as you watched the Pixar films on the big screen. What an incredible event for the whole family!! My 8 year old went twice - once with a friend and then with our family because he enjoyed it so much!! That alone tells you it was not only beautiful music but "entertaining" as well!! Job well done!!

New to the area and had not heard the Tucson symphony before. They were wonderful as was Pixar!

The film segments were really well done to tell just the right part of the story to match with the music. Several if the films brought tears to my eyes. But for all the touching film clips there were plenty that just made you smile.

This was a great show. The symphony sounded incredible. I was amazed at how the movie clips and music were cut and weaved together seamlessly.

It was an excellent show. One part that was most remarkable is how well the music was synchronized with the accompanying film from the various Pixar movies. If you didn't see the musicians, you would swear the music was coming from speakers.

I was not aware that a visual component was part of this concert. They showed excerpts from the movies for which they were playing the ochestral score. I wished I had brought my 8-year old. He would have enjoyed it.

Great introduction to the symphony for my grandkids. Kept them fully engaged. They loved it and I did too!!!

This was my first experience with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and I am looking forward to many, many more concerts. They played beautifully. I laughed and actually cried! You could feel the emotion of each suite. The conductor, and I apologize that I don't remember his name, was great as well. He told a story for each suite and even share personal experiences. It was like sitting down with a good friend and talking about the Pixar movies. Clowes Memorial Hall was very nice. Professional staff, helpful and polite. The facility itself was clean. Easy to find and navigate. It wasn't difficult to get in or out of the parking lot.
