The theater was beautiful. The show was good but I would have enjoyed Lou Christie being the last act. Jay and the Americans have lost it due to the new Jay. I usually don't come into the theater when they are performing. Emil and the classics are great and Emil is a wonderful MC. The Knockouts are also great.

Lou Christie was at the top of his game. His voice gets better every performance. The Vogues sound exactly like their recordings, Gary Lewis is so much fun- remember- he topped The Beatles in '65. The Marcels Blue Moon was a crowd thriller.A fantastic show!!!!!!! And the staff at Westbury remains the most accommodating.

Really did not enjoy this event at all -a total disappointment! Have been to at least 20 events like this, most at The Westbury venue, but this was the worst one ever! The acoustics were not good, not enough backup instruments or voices & the performers themselveves were straining and off tune. It will be a long time before I attend another event such as this! Sad but true.☹️

GREAT DOO WOP SHOW in Westbury NY as usual! The groups were fabulous. It was an experience to see the original Crickets perform on the round stage. All of Buddy Holly's songs were done with reverence to him and performed fantastically. Can't wait for the next show!

The Do -Op Concert on December 4th was fabulous. I have gone to may shows over tthe years and I feel this is the best one yet. The place was rocking all night. Willie Winfield danced and sang like he was 17 again. The Tymes were my favorite group when I was young. They did not disapoint . Lou Cristie was excellent also. He still has it.

Some good acts, some not so great. Uneven distribution of how you saw the acts; I saw more of their backs then their faces. There should be more handicap accessible areas and some how make it easier to get a wheelchair up a ramp. We had two companion seats to a handicap area for our third party in a wheelchair but we were three seats away from where she was sitting, so it was like she was sitting alone. If I had known these were not together, I wouldn't have bought them as they were not cheap seats, although they were the last row.

Larry Chance as the Emcee was a perfect combo of knowledge and entertainment. All performers were great and it was a exceptional plus to see my all-time favorites, Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners. I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding performance of the Tokens. They could keep Bobby Rydell - he can still sing, but his performance is patronizing. I felt he was playing for an audience of 80 year olds!

Good Show. Smallish venue made the show seem very intimate. For me the standouts were the Drifters and Skyliners. A little too much focus put on Lou Christe. He's okay but he certainly wasn't bigger than the Drifters or even the Skyliners for that matter. My guess is that they made him the closing act because he "performs" and plays to the audience and not simply for the music. Anyway, all in all a good show that I would certainly recommend to those who like music from the 50's and early 60's.

The suite 2 seating and hospitality treats were great. As to the presentation, that is another thing, even with the best house seating, the MC introductions were loud. I could not understand a word he was saying. The house band were talented and resonated so loud that the performers seemed to be off in there performance. This production was not like the sounds that I remembered nor as were heard in other presentation. This performance seamed to be lacking a sound engineer. Or maybe it was that sound engineer's thought since the music was vintage the listeners were also aged and were hard of hearing. I can't wait for the PBS special, since this performance was recorded and see what was done about the MC and the sound quality.

This is the second time I have purchased tickets to see Bobby Rydell and both times, he canceled. I understand he was sick, but what bothers me is that no one told us prior to the show starting. We were not given the opportunity for a refund and that is what really bothers me. I have seen the other performers in the past and did not care if I saw them again. The big attraction for me, and what I assumed was top-billing, was Bobby Rydell. When I called TM to complain, I was basically told "too bad". People should have been given the option! Very, very dissatisfied!!!

Although not all the line-up names were familiar to me, the songs they made famous were! The names I knew: Lightning Lou Christie and Charlie Thomas' Drifters. The Drifters put on an elequent synchronized show and Lou is always amazing in performance. The line-up also included: Larry Dell's group, Jay Siegel's Tokens, The Marcels, Randy and the Rainbows and the lead singer of The Shirells. Each act came onstage as though they were taking over the world. Start to finish Fun!

the show was good except some of the groups do not stay on long enough - they only sing maybe 2 - 3 songs and then off they go. maybe if you get less groups and let them stay on longer it would be much more enjoyable.. also the box office should not be closed during intermission i went to purchase tickets for a future show and the box office was already closed.

Great show that ran 3 hours. The show was in the Pavilion and I would recommend purchasing the seats which where very comfortable vs. the lawn chairs. If you are not familiar with Bethel Woods it is the site of the 1969 Woodstock Concert, they have a wonderful museum dedicated to the Concert which is worth seeing without a concert. The site is managed beautifully. This was my first concert there, we have been in a similar type of setup in another state so we were a little Leary that it would be cramped, but we were very surprised how comfortable the seating and leg room was. We sat in the mezzanine center. See a concert there, you will not be sorry.

The show was wonderful, and it brought back great memories. All the acts were superb. One was better than the next. We are Kenny Vance fans so we really enjoyed their performance. We enjoyed the show and would definitely go again. That is why we purchased the 2 day pass. However, we were disappointed that we paid more by purchasing the tickets for the 2nd show at the same time as we purchased the tickets for the 1st show. At the show they were selling the tickets for the second show for $75 for 2 tickets. We paid $90 for our 2 tickets. I will not buy a 2 day pass again.

The show was good but calling it a "Holiday Extravaganza" is a bit of a misnomer. There wasn't a single Holiday song in the bunch. The only thing Christmas-y about the show was the red and green tape used to secure the microphone cables to the floor. The show was still good but not what I thought I was getting.

The show started on time. The Emil Stuckey (spelling error alert?) was very engaging as the emcee. The Capri's were absent due a medical emergency. The theater offered a refund but I don't think many audience members left. All the acts were very engaging and personable. My favorites were The Duprees and Shirley Alston Reeves and her backup singers. I believe the next show will be in December. I hope they can have different acts perform. This might be problematic due to the ages of the performers.

My wife and I have been attending these Doo Wop shows for many years, some good, some very good. This latest show was without a doubt in my estimation one of the greatest I've had the good fortune to attend. The line up was great from top to bottom. The Marcels sounded so good it brought tears to my eyes, I felt like is was back in East New York in the 60's. The Shirelles were no less than fantastic, can't say enough about Shirley, her voice is as great as ever. Well how about those Dupreees, never better, they always bring the shown down with their magical voices, can't wait to till the next event.

The show was great. There was only one group that I didn't care for. Emil Stuccio was a great MC. The music was wonderful and the comedy and personalities of the performers is a plus.

It was a great show. All acts were fabulous! A big suggestion to Lou Christie's camp. Get him a different look....fashion wise. That military look was out 20 years ago!. Every woman in the venue was screaming for him to take off that jacket and I think some men were too! And the mullet hairstyle has to go! Would love to see him casually and attractively dressed to enhance his masculinity. He's an attractive man and his attire should reflect that. It's time for a new Lou Christie!
