The even itself was a great idea the sound should've been checked beforehand in order to have experienced a better show . They got it right on Sunday but the weather shut down the maint event :( the overall experience was kool and hopefully they nail it next year ! Can't wait!

I am a 25 year veteran snowboarder first and foremost...My daughter 10yrs. We enjoyed ourselfs even though it was a long day try to compact it next year just a little. Thanks to Shaun for bringing it state side especiall to So. Ca. I enjoyed the side stage bands Quit a bit more than the main stage Saturday only, did not attend Sun. And try to fiquer out better rest room services to long a line men & women & food services, and I dont think you guys should of had a VIP section.. really its a festival no need for a VIP it made it a little cheesy to me to see that there was a private section, its not a New York or Holly Wood night club.. other than that I will attend again next year if Shaun brings it back.....

It was pretty amazing to see snowboarding in Pasadena. The sound could have been better for Phantogram. I could barely hear the vocals and that's the best part. The extra kid's activities were great for my 7 year old son. The beer situation was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever witnessed. They had 3 tents with 5-10 very slow bartenders at each. There really weren't lines, just mobs of frustrated people trying to get to the front. They were also taking each order, then opening a can of beer and pouring it into cups. This meant each order took way too long. I stood in line for literally 90 minutes to pay $14 bucks for their large premium beer, which was Tecate. Really?

Where to start..first of all the venue was so crowded that it took an hour and a half to get a beer. When diplo and the other bands start playing the volume so low that you could hold normal conversation while on the crowd. They even shut Kendrick Lamar down for being to noisy

I drove 3 hours to see Kendrick, and one i got there i waited another 2 hours for him to come out. Once he gets there they cut his set short to only 45 minutes which was half the time I expected, I left the place right after they cut him off upset.

The event would have been awesome - the snowboarding and the music were - but we spent an hour and a half in line for beer. Having only a couple beer tents is unacceptable, and having to wait that long almost ruined the whole experience of the day. We missed several shows we had wanted to see.

Ski/snowboard jump and events were amazing! We had a poor experience due to long lines for food, drink and bathrooms. Sound quality on main stage was very poor. We will not be returning next year. 2 1/2 hour wait for a beer made us miss Diplo!! Very sad!

Had potential to be amazing. Snowboarding was good except for the screens surrounding the jump were so small you couldn't see any of the standings or replays unless you were in front. The music was so quiet you could have a full on conversation with the person next to you even though we were extremely close to the front. And the main headliner we paid money to see got kicked off stage for being too loud. I wish I could get some sort of refund cause this event was a joke.

Long lines for bathroom/ beer/ food (think around an hour). Main stage volume was very very low, sound problems plagued almost every performer. Show ended early because of noise violation.

10 dollars for a warm PBR, this event was a train wreck.

Great family event, great food, activities and music.

We will go one more time if it happens again. Chalking up a few things to the first US date... There could have been more family friendly activities to fill the gaps. Where were the skateboard and bmx demos? Doesn't it make sense to have those? Also, having bands play at the same time sucked. We had to choose between two acts we wanted to see a couple times.

Great concept, but absolutely horrific execution of the event! Beer lines were incredibly long, as there was only a few beer vending booths, and the music wasn't loud AT ALL! Kendrick came on, and was the crowd began to boo as they could barely hear anything. He came back on and told the crowd that he was being told that they couldn't turn it up any louder or the show would be shut down.....volume was at probably "3" and it was 8pm on a Saturday night.....He ended up only playing a few songs and then leaving....as they wouldn't turn the volume up. Then, Day 2 was completely destroyed by the rain, and there was no shelter to protect yourself from the elements unless you wanted to sit around in the bathrooms.... Terrible job Shaun White! Next time you come up with an event just to ensure your band has somewhere to perform before an audience, make sure you follow-through with the proper planning and event coordination!

This event allowed fans of music and sports come together to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Luckily our group was positive and we make the best of everything but we had a bad time from the moment we pulled in. $20 for parking which is understandable for an event but we were harassed in the parking lot by undercover cops trying to bust us for underage drinking (we were all 21+). That was the one day they didn't permit tailgating. Ok. Cool. Let's go inside then. The line to get a 21+ bracelet was pretty long but we were still in good spirits. Finally get to the beer stand and we waited online for a beer for an hour and a half! No exaggeration. We missed a whole DJ set and part of the competition. Everyone was cutting the line, arguing, and causing chaos to only permit us one beer per transaction. Ok whatever. We have our drinks lets go finally enjoy the show. The speakers cut out towards the begging of the headliner and when it was finally back up the sound level was week. I understand there are surrounding housing up in the hills but why even have an event like this if you're going to half ass it? Food and bathroom lines were also way too long. My favorite part of the night was hitting iHop afterwards lol Im always willing to try something again but they really need to step it up next year.

Rarely does a new event this bold roll out in the highly critical city of los angeles. Shaun White knows how to throw a party and change the world!

Don't get me wrong the event was sick and the artist were amazing but the sound was just horrible. You couldn't hear anything it was sad!! So disappointed. Fire the sound engineer.

The snowboarding and art aspects were good. The music was the worst. The artists were awesome, but the sound system was so bad that you could barely hear them. The food truck lines were insane, so maybe add more trucks. This was the first year, so of course there are kinks to work out. Overall, the concept of the event is amazing, and I hope it gets better!

I am extremely disappointed in the execution of Air + Style LA, an event I was greatly looking forward to. I work in the radio industry where producing music festivals are not foreign to me. I can't seem to wrap my head around the decision of the Rose Bowl location knowing there would be strict noise restrictions due to the surrounding residential area. Knowing this information prior to this first-time event in the states seems ludicrous to me that the Rose Bowl would even be a consideration. Ultimately, the venue did not do this event justice and more importantly the artists who I would assume they paid good money to get. Attendees expected a music festival just as much as they expected an extreme sport competition. Shaun White himself said in a promo video posted to your social media sites, "Air + Style...it's basically a music event like Coachella meets something like X Games." The artists looked not only defeated but you could see the confidence draining from their faces with crowd interaction at an ultimate low due to the lack of sound. The volume was so low that you could have a conversation with the person standing right next to you with no problem. Mind you, I was standing in the middle of the crowd next to the sound board. Personally, I came more for the music aspect than I did the snowboarding competition but clearly that was the only element that was executed properly at this entire event. The Saturday headliner, Kendrick Lamar was said to have a set time of an hour and a half but was cut short to 40-45 minutes instead due to his numerous attempts of telling the sound techs to turn the volume up. I've been to hundreds of concerts as a fan and as an employee of radio stations in San Diego and I've never been so disappointed by one in my entire life. Air +Style LA had huge potential to be a unique and popular event but it fell short in delivery. The bottom line is it was poorly executed and produced. The venue was a major issue that should have been forseen in the early discussions/meetings of this event. Had this taken place at a different venue in LA (where there are numerous other options), I think this could have been a completely different turnout. Aside from the music acts being a complete disaster, the bathroom to people ratio was inhumane. The wait time was at least an hour long. There was just not enough restrooms/porta-potties available throughout the venue. The beer and food lines were just as bad, with over an hour wait for those as well. I think that the issues with this event should be publicly addressed and not ignored, nor do I think that comments from attendees on the Air + Style social media sites should be deleted either. I think Air + Style LA needs to address the masses in a professional manner and admit fault as well as take some ownership to the dissatisfaction that is clearly evident amongst many people that attended this past weekend. I spent good money to attend this event that again, I was looking forward to, only to feel like I was robbed. This wasn't a cheap ticket and I traveled from San Diego to attend. Not to mention, it was an anniversary gift to my girlfriend to celebrate with. I can't express my dissatisfaction and disappointment enough.

This was the worst. Sound quality was terrible (inaudible) Sound issues plagued the artist's performances and the headliner act was forced to cut his set early. Attempting to get a refund.

I saw Air + Style in Innsbruck and Beijing. The big air snowboard tricks were amazing. Going to be a great show with the music line-up in LA. Can't wait to see Kendrick Lamar

It looks like the event can get better but the sound was inconsistent this year. During the performances on the main stage the sound kept going in and out. The sound being inconsistent affected my enjoyment of the show. Kendrick Lamar noticed and asked for them to fix the sound several times during his performance.

The event lineup was great. Unfortunately, I have never heard such poor sound quality at an outdoor festival/event. Neighbors complained about noise? (According to Kendrick Lamar). Didn't you get permits for the event so this would not happen? Poorly executed. Audio was 1/10 stars sadly. Could have been an excellent event.

My friends and I were so excited for this event- awesome music lineup, gold medalist snow boarders, the rose bowl?! It didn't seem like it could get any better we were considering it a minichella (mini coachella) but the event did anything but excite us once we were there. We hardly witnessed any snowboarding- we attended all of the concerts we wanted to but could hardly her the music over our own conversation! Diplo was background music, and Kendrick Lamar? Well\u2026we left early we just couldn't stand in the cold for a very mediocre performance. I feel bad for all of the artists who performed the sound system was insulting to them. I don't think I would attend this event again I feel really bad that it was such a dud. Better luck next year Shaun White, still love you though!

The music was so low in sound that it really made the event not worth the money. i would never return. it was lame.

Concept was amazing. I'd go every year, but you HAVE do do something about the beer situation. Waiting in a mob for an hour to get to the front and find out they are out of cups and won't give us cans. People were literally chugging cabs at the bar, or taking 2 small cups per beer. On top of that, it was $10 for a 16oz PBR!! All performers sound was terrible. Kendrick Lamar was killing it, and you could barely hear, and then he cut his set short. I expect to see some updates next year.

Pretty fun event, but some big issues. I only went on Saturday. The good things - easy to get close to the stage, great artists, great setting The bad things - 1. Volume was WAY too quiet - to the point where Kendrick Lamar stopped his set and demanded they turn up the volume. They ultimately did, but Kendrick was the last set of the day and I think they might have even turned the volume back down after a couple minutes. Too little, too late. 2. Huge food lines - about 100 feet long My friends and I had a fun time regardless, but if these two things had been improved it would be a MAJOR grade to event quality.

What a great idea, music and extreme snow sports! In theory, a match made in heaven. Unfortunately this event shouldn't have taken place in Pasadena, a city hardly know for it's snow blanketed winters. In fact, after a quick Google search, the last time it actually snowed in the city was 1949! Air + Style was billed to take place at the Rose Bowl but unfortunately it was actually OUTSIDE of the Rose Bowl on the lawn/parking lot. They had a giant 16 story snow jump, 2 music stages, some food trucks, beer/food tents, and some merch and art booths. Typical music festival setup, besides the massive Big Air event rig obviously. The sound at the music stages was criminally low at this festival. Like so low you could carry on a conversation with your neighboring music goer completely audibly, like without even raising your voice, at the main stage! During Kendrick Lamar's set, between almost every song the crowd united in chanting "TUN IT UP!" Unfortunately there was a sound ordinance so asinine in the city of Pasadena that you're only legally allowed to whisper through speakers to the thousands of fans who paid their hard earned cash to see you in a quiet, almost library-like setting. Kinda exaggerating that last bit but it was really bad. Kendrick would go on to yell at the sound booth and promoters between songs at every opportunity during the entirety of his 40 minute set which was actually scheduled as a 90 minute performance. Why did Kendrick, this event's Saturday headliner, only perform less than half of his allotted time you ask? Well, when the sound guys finally did turn the audio up to a reasonable level, Kendrick was forced off stage early and unapologetically at his first home town LA show in over a year. Ouch! Would the event get any better the next day? Well, it poured rain all of Sunday. So much so that I'd estimate only about 10% of the crowd from the day before actually showed up again. The sound was much louder, not sure how they pulled it off but you could actually hear on Sunday! So now that the music was back up to par, how about the sports? Well the skiing events were cancelled due to the rain. No refunds were being issued, no consolation prizes awarded, only the musicians in the rain now, doing the best they could in the conditions provided for them. The main draw for Sunday, The Flaming Lips started their set late due to weather issues. About a song or 2 into it, their principal song writer Steven Drozd, had his main keyboard rig short out. This left the band scrambling to figure out what songs from their setlist they'd actually be able to play. Being the professional musicians they are, they pulled together and put on a beautiful, striped down performance that was certainly the highlight of the evening. Sure they only got to play 7 songs in total during their allotted 75 minute set but at least they were loud, full of energy, and just down right honest (something that the entire event felt like it neglected, honesty). All in all, I have to give Air + Style 2 out of the possible 5 stars. Sure it was overly ambitious, but at least they tried to pull it off. It was certainly a spectacle to see, we even got to witness the first Switch Backside Triple 1620 ever landed by 1st place winner Yuki Kadono in the Snowboard Big Air competition. They were definitely on the right track music wise too, the lineup was top notch. Fans were able to see some great performances, both in sport and music, even though you couldn't necessarily hear them on Saturday. Personally, my friends and I made the best of the experience and certainly had a lot of fun. Hopefully Shaun White's team will be able to work out the kinks in order to help this project succeed in the future.

More like fair and quiet! The snow and ski jump and all the athletes did amazing job. The artist on Saturday also did great. However the sound was set really low and completely ruined the music. Most of the bands played through the low volume, even though I could have a complete conversation during phantogram, diplo and Kendrick Lamar, some of the top performers of today. The music was so low that Kendrick Lamar stopped his set 40 min early, which was still only 8 pm. It was rediculous to spend money on gas and hotel and the full price ticket only to be disappointed. I will probably never go back to air and style and will not recommend this show to friends. Sorry Mr. White.

The whole reason I went was to see kendrick and he got shut down. I should get my money back

The event overall was ok but I would probably not go if it is held again next year. The lines for food and beer were a minimum wait of 45 min to an hour and the food options were limited. The lineup was ok but the sound system absolutely sucked (at least for the first day - didn't go the second day so I can't speak to that). My location for Diplo was in the middle and I was having trouble hearing his set so I decided to bail because there was point in standing there when I could hardly hear the artist performing. The Kendrick set had the same issues but to make it worse he stopped playing and probably played about 5 songs (one of which he played 3 times in a row...thank god it was one of favs). The only positive thing I can say was Portugal. The Man was a solid set and the tickets were cheap. The setup was pretty cool and the idea of this type of event could be awesome if executed correctly. I guess in the end I got exactly what I paid for but they have a lot of bugs to work out if they bring this back next year.

Not enough restroom areas. Could have used more food vendors to avoid such long lines. Same with the alcoholic beverages. The lines were unnecessarily long. Also, maybe do a little research on the location to avoid the acts having to lower the volume during their performances. That was the worst part.

I was looking forward to go and the event didn't let me down. I went for the snowboarding and all the artists playing there was a bonus! The only thing was that the music was too quiet when it got dark. Other than that it was awesome!

One of the worst events I've been to and I've been going to Coachella for 9 years. Sound quality was awful, and I wouldn't have paid the price I did if I knew I wasn't going to be able to hear the music. Also Kendrick Lamar started late and ended early so that was pretty bad and he sued the same song 3 times. I got one beer because I was in line for one hour to get it and the bathroom lines were even worse. Horribly planned and executwd event. I would like like my money back.

Although diplo and Kendrick Lamar were both very good all through out the day their were issues with the sound! The worst came with Kendrick Lamars performance ending his set 35 minutes early than expected! Kendrick Lamar was robbed of his full set and so were fans who paid good money for the festival. This festival could of been a good local festival but chances are that won't ever happen now.

I thought tickets were reasonably priced but a $12 service fee and &20 to park is outrageous. Also out of 4 bands I wanted to see I only saw technically two and a half. Kendrick Lamar ended his set almost 30 minutes early and when he was playing we couldn't even hear him. Rip off

The Snowboarding event was amazing the music and sound was ehhhh!

The volume level for the performers and the announcers was extremely low making difficult for the fans to get into a good vibe. Too many long lines and disorganized shuttle service.

wow I paid full price to enjoy Kendrick Lamar and Diplo only to find out that they could not turn up the volume! I was very disappointed and the frustration on Kendrick Lamar trying to get the music turned up louder was an obvious that his fans were not happy! and all he was doing was trying to make his fans happy! Also the fact that his set was cut off early was also disappointing.

The event was put together very poorly. I waited in line for a beer for an hr and 45 mins I waited to go to the bathroom for a half hour. I never ended up eating throughout the 12 hour day because the food lines were just as long. They had run out of beer nearing the end of the night. The concerts and events would have been fun to watch if you could hear them. All in all it was a waste of money and time. It could have been a great experience if the event was thoughtfully put together.

After Day 1 I was definitely looking forward to Day 2. Really not cool that the price of parking DOUBLED to $20 for the second day. That's my reward for showing up in the rain? Also, I get that 75% of the skiing had to be cancelled because of the weather and safety and all that but maybe don't print "Rain or Shine" on the tickets? If I had to do it over, I would have skipped Day 2, not because of the rain necessarily, but I really didn't dig the 100% increase for parking and without a final for skiing we didn't see the athletes performing at their peak.

I went to this event with bunch of friends. We had high expectations because diplo and Kendrick Lamar is performing. We were staying in the back and we can barely here the music. Even Kendrick kept saying turn up the volume. Everyone around use were complaining saying iit would be nice if we can here the music. None of use couldn't get into the music. We got pretty upset and ended up leaving and never coming to this event.

This event was awesome, a lot of fun with a great competition. The music side was okay, but the volume was way to soft and they would not correct it.

The artists were really good, I liked them all, but the sound was not very good, on top of it all the beer was too expensive, and the lines for the bathroom were insanely long and slow. So I lost like 15 minutes of each artists set.

Went Last year was a blast, even in the rain, can't control the weather. Bands were going off! Last year was the first year in LA, so I hope they improve some things like the vendors lines for food and drinks, just were to long. Uunforgettable, still going!!!

So excited this event came to LA, came with a group of friends and had an awesome time. Great artists and the added bonus of snowboarding off the huge ramp! Stayed through the rain both days and had a blast.....can't wait for the next one. Could use more beer sellers!

I think it was so cool to have a snowboarding event and music festival in LA. It was so much fun - music line up was insane and having all the best snowboarders in LA was so awesome. Can't wait for the next one!

Though it was cold and raining the entire time, the music lineup was great. Sadly, the weather made for several delays in the slope event.

I like the overall event, very nice and I had a great time. However, the sound system was a bit off and I understand might have something to do with the Pasadena city law. Maybe consider changing the location for next year if that's the case.

I think this event was bad because of The inability of the people running the event to tell everyone what was going on due to the rain. The cancellation of the ski finals, The pouring rain, and no promise of there to be a reschedule was unprofessional and disappointing. Due to the fact that me and my friend only went on Sunday, I feel as if we got the short end of the stick and went the one day that everything went wrong. Edward sharpen them in the magnetic zeros was probably the one main highlight of the event and it was pouring rain the whole time. There should definitely be a reschedule for the final so that everyone can have the same experience

This event had so much great potential. Unfortunately it rained on the Sunday day so the skiing competiton got canceled, the bands couldn't perform everything they wanted to because of the rain and there were no tents set up for you to sit under. One of the list of things that was banned from the event was umbrellas so we did not take one, but getting there we saw a ton of people with them. because it was supposed to rain all day, I was expecting them to have tents up for us so we wouldn't get soaked the whole time, but instead without knowing we could take umbrellas and no tents provided we got soaked and frozen. There also was nothing else going on but bands performing to the best of their ability. It had said bmx and skateboarding competition but there was none of that in sight. I am completely disappointed with the way they handled this and it seemed to me like they didn't care for our needs. If it wasn't for the bear booth giving me a free lift ticket I definitely would have been way more upset spending $70 for practically nothing. We didn't even get to see the rest of the bands because we were there all day and we were frozen and soaking wet. It was a miserable time.

Kendrick and diplo perform is sick but the sound is sadly bad. We really couldn't here much. And Kendrick soposed to play hour and a half and he only played 20 mins due to management shut it down because Kendrick want to put the sound up. Very bad management.

It was amazing! I loved every moment of it. The music was amazing and everyone was so live and happy. I was in the very front for Diplo's performance, thinking about it makes me want to cry. Definitely can picture myself going to this every year!

This event was off the hook . From the time that it started there was always something that was happening. If the air-stlye wasn't happening, then a band would be playing at the stages. During my adventure on Saturday we had a couple bands plus Diplo & Kendrick Lamar. Can't wait for next year's.

Air + Style had everything. Snowboarding, of course, with the best snowboarders, amazing music, great food, and awesome booths with great merch and free stuff. Loved every moment of it.

I went to Air + Style because my boyfriend's band was playing, and I had a little bit of time in my day to go see them. The first thing that I noticed when I arrived was the impressive 160 foot tall snowboarding ramp, which was pretty cool. However, there wasn't much else to see. There were a few tents here and there and some stuff for kids to do - that was pretty much it. Teenage Wrist went on, and I was surprised at how quiet the vocals were. I could hear the rest of the band just fine. Turns out, sound issues were the biggest issue at the festival. I saw Shaun White's band Bad Things, and their sound also kept cutting in and out. After I saw two sets, I was hungry, so I went to get some food. There were only a few food trucks for hundreds of people! (and you can't leave the venue to get food due to the no re-entry policy). I waited in line for 45 MINUTES. And the lines kept getting longer and longer. By the time I got my food, I had to leave. If they ever do this again, they need much better planning for food and drinks. The lines were outrageous. Also, they should probably not hold a MUSIC festival in a place that won't even let them play the MUSIC at a decent volume. If they hold it here again, I would not recommend it to anyone. I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for it.

The line-up was great and the band's performances were fun but the sound quality was terrible. Getting beer was an odyssey since there were few stands and NO SIGNS or booth to let you know you needed a wristband to get drinks Finally, Saturday's headliner, Kendrick Lamar ended up cutting his set 40 mins short!!

Mad Decent Diplos Sound was so bad, than Kendrick Hometown concert just broke down cause of noise???? Was a waste of money!!!

the only thing I don't like was the rowdy crowds that were pushing around too much especially when Diplo performed but the performances was so amazing!! Of course I went because of Kendrick and Diplo but the rest of the lineup was awesome!

The park was a very nice venue to see live music. Despite the rain, the stages remained intact and artists still used props and lighting effects. Please make water cheaper and more accessible.

Was hesitant to buy tickets because of the forecast but read rain or shine. I get its dangerous in certain conditions but my assumption was they figured out how to make it safe if they claim rain or shine... That wasnt the case since the finals was canceled. The music performances were okay but stage/sound quality does not compare to a legit music festival.

To whom it may concern, When purchasing this ticket in December, I looked at the lineup and said WOW. For $160+ a ticket, a drive up from San Diego, and to see the Rose Bowl, why not come up with the money and see the likes of Kendrick Lamar, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. Well, I was disappointed. $20 for parking, the lack of volume, warm beer, shortened performances and bathroom lines that lasted 30 minutes were just a few fallacies I had on Air+Style. I could hear clear conversations groups ahead of me during DIPLO over the loud music. Hearing in early February that Groupon sold this ticket for $39/day was extremely depressing. I had paid for two tickets @ $160 for 2 days which is a 100% increase. So not only was I out $160 for two tickets, I could barely hear the performers and the 16 story snow ramp wasn't that good. You could barely see the participants coming down the hill and it was until he came down and landed is when you thought ok, when did he even launch off from the starting line. I was very disappointed and would not recommend this event to anyone. It had a good starting point but the execution was poor at best.

I give Shaun White credit for coming up with the idea of combining music and a big air competition. That being said, the execution was terrible. Ill start with the setup for the event. Terrible. They ran out of beer. They ran out of cups. There were not enough bathrooms to accommodate the people attending the event. I waited over 30 minutes in a beer line only to get to the front and have them tell me they couldnt sell me a beer because they didnt have a cup to put it in. Oh, they only served PBR. Lastly, the music was the lowest I have ever heard at a concert. I would not even call this a concert. I might as well have parked my car on the stage and put it on full blast. The only artist who stood up for himself was Kendrick. He complained before every song that the music was low. What did the venue do? Nothing. Kendrick walked off stage 40 minutes early never to return again. Would not recommend going to this venue and I would not recommend going to an event put on by Shaun White. It was a waste of money and time.

A lot of people including myself had a very hard time hearin Kendrick Lamar and Diplo. The fact that I couldn't fully enjoy the music because I could not hear was very annoying.

The concept of this whole event/concert is incredible and awesome and it was awesomely incredible being a part of it! The 160 foot ramp was insane, the lineup was great and the food trucks were delicious. HOWEVER... The speakers were way too quiet (especially the first day), so much so that people were booing and chanting to turn it up. The beer lines and food lines were seriously the worst thing ever. I missed ALL of Diplo because I waited in line for a beer for an hour and a half. Need more beer stands and food stands. And porter potties. But you have to make he best of what you got and that's why it was still an awesome time and weekend!

Air&Style LA at the Rose Bowl was awesome from beginning to end. Congratulations to Shaun White and the City of Pasadena for bringing this unique and exciting event to our city. As it was the first time something like this was done here, I know there were a few kinks to work out. However, I hope everyone feels it was a success. My husband and I came with 7 children ages 6-15. They all had a blast. Seeing the level of snowboarding competition in our own backyard was so amazing. I truly hope we can host this event again in Pasadena.

First time at an event like this, i'm so glad they had put on the best snowboard/ski event in LA! I had an awsome time and I still cant get over it! I got to meet Olympic Gold Metalist @JossChristensen! That totally made my day!!! And we all danced in the rain to Steve Aoki!!! He is sick! Overall, I would say I will attend this event next year and would recommend it to anyone who loves snowboarding and/or skiing.

Clearly the entire event was planned with the performing snowboarders in mind...and nothing else. Watching them land some ridiculously amazing jumps/tricks was sick, but that was few and far inbetween. The rest of the planning for the event did not go so well. The performers didn't seem to have the best sound equipment, which definitely took away from having a quality music/festival experience. The headlining closer for the night, Kendrick Lamar, started 15-20 minutes late and he had some weak relatively unknown performer open up for him. I honestly felt sorry for the dude as much of the crowd began to boo him, deserving as it may have been. Kendrick, along with the audience, repeatedly said to turn up the/his music and mic. But about five or six songs into the performance we were all told that it was already too loud and that the music might be cutoff or shutdown. Unfortunately, the performance then ended prematurely and Kendrick ran off stage saying "I'll be back!", with at least 45 minutes left in his set. Needless to say, but I'm saying it, it was disappointing - he played less than half a set. Along with the musical performance issues, the lines and prices for everything was obscenely ridiculous. Fortunately I pre-partied before arriving to the event. Sadly, in the end, I have to say that it was definitely not worth it and that I did not get what I paid for. What an overall disappointing waste.

It was horrible. Waste of money. Lines for bathrooms and beers were insane. Unorganized overall. Not enough sound to actually hear the music. I've never been to a festival this unorganized and horrible in my entire life.

I paid to see kendrick and waited next to smelly people for an hour to have air style shut him down because he was too loud. SMH

They had an awesome lineup! The sound system definitely needed to be cranked up a ton! Conversations in the crowd were louder than the speakers. The lines for food, drinks and bathrooms on Day 1 were a nightmare. Day 2 the rain cleared the lines up. The prices for the tickets were a good deal for what I got. BUT the musicians themselves went all out and made a fantastic performance.
