Let me first start by saying I was completely impressed by the unbelievable organization of Bamboozle 2012! JOB WELL DONE!! I enjoyed the entire day and am looking forward to next year! Foo Fighters were unbelievable! Hopefully they will be back next year! They are one of my favorite bands! I enjoyed so many other bands but because blink was not on main stage I was walking by one of the little stages and stayed for their entire performance. The bands name was KID FELIX! Music was excellent and performance was great! They drew a really big crowd. I bought one of their EPs and have been playing it! Would love to see them again next year! THANKS for an AWESOME DAY!!!

I had the best time of my life at Bamboozle this year. The line-up wasn't the best but the atmosphere was unforgettable! I loved being on the beach and rocking out. The food and merch was great too, there was so much going on and so much to do. I will definitely be going back next year!

I never saw Bon Jovi before and he was terrific. I loved Gaslight Anthem too. Mostly, I was impressed by the venue (ocean, beach, etc...). As a former radio DJ and reviewer of various festivals ranging from upstate NY to down south to out west, everyone here did a really good job. The sound system - outstanding, the monitor screens - perfect. I hope you have this (and more!) every year. How about for next year.....Queen featuring Adam Lambert! Draw all kinds of generations together! Wonderful event!

The show was very disappointing compared to all of the other years since the very first in 2006. There were only 3 stages compared to the 5 stages last year. Last year was also sponsored by willy wonka, which gave out free candy and other prizes. It was a way the franchise could maximize profit without spending a lot of money. I have been going to the festival every year since 2006, except 2007, because there wasn't one that year. The best festival was at bamboozle in New Jersey in 2007 with Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance headlining. There was a lot more stages and bands there. Since this is the worst festival I have been to, this will be the last one I will be attending.

I was only able to make the last part of Bamboozle, but it was way worth it! I got to see Angels and Airwaves, which were good, I saw Ke$ha, which I enjoyed, and last but not least I saw Paramore. Paramore rocked the night away, although due to Ke$ha having begun late Drake ended late so Paramore came on a 1/2 hour late. But the wait was totally worth it. I would definitely go again next year!!!

This was my first time attending the bamboozle. i went with my older brother, and was only going to see afi. im in love with davey.... i soon found out tmills was gonna be there which is another reason i wanted to go. i went on only one day, Saturday. my brother had to leave half way and i was all by myself. i explored all the venders, got some cool t-shirts, and also discovered bands i never heard of before. i also found tmills and got to chat with him for awhile and even took a picture with him. i also met some nice people and ended up hanging with them the whole night. i thought the venue and time slots were just fine. all the stages were far enough that i could focus on the band i was watching. Afi closed out my night, and they did amaaazing. since i was alone i got towards the front pretty easy. i just didn't like that guys had there girlfriends on there shoulders, total blocks! but for the most part i had a lot of fun. cant wait for bamboozle roadshow! i made the best of this event, even though i was alone most of the time i still had a blast.... also don't forget sunscreen... i got burned....

i had alot of fun, i got to see some of my favorite bands & hang out with them after they performed. it was just a good time. i also like how they separated the similar bands on different stages. i would definitely go to another concert like this one.

For all the complaining being done on websites and message boards about the crazy lineup it was actually a really great day. While its impossible at a festival like this to see everyone I was able to see Hey Monday, Call the Cops, This Century, Bobby Long, We Shot the Moon, The Colourist, Anarbor, The Maine, nevershoutnever, and of course, headliners Something Corporate. I thought festival setup was good in that they kept the stages completely away from each other so there was no sound bleed. The beautiful surprise of the show was the poorly attended set by brilliant singer songwriter Bobby Long. The reason to be there though was the reunion of Something Corporate who hit the stage with such exuberance and delight that it would be easy to forget they were ever gone. For those of us in the crowd who had been waiting for this moment ever since the mini set at Bamboozle a few years ago it was quite the emotional moment. Now all we can hope for is more live dates beyond Bamboozles and a new album beyond the greatest hits package coming in April. Come on Andrew...PLEASE!!!!!!!

Afi was right on with an amazing, energetic performance! Many of the support bands were excellent as well especially Chase Long Beach, DiscoCurtis, Street Drum Corps, Bouncing Souls and Say Anything. Venue was excellent ~ best I've been to for a festival with plenty of parking (though very expensive!), lots of shade available and real restrooms (big smile for this =)!

The show overall was good, and I love that I got to know some new bands that I will enjoy getting to know better... however, bamboozle (like all festivals) is an event in which you will only really benefit if you know many of the bands. ps. i'm half deaf!

I got tickets to Bamboozle for these 4 bands, and they didn't disappoint. They were all awesome, even though Anthony Green seemed like he was on shrooms or something. We also checked out some of the less well-known bands on the two side stages and there were two notables: All Day the Holiday and The Fall of Troy. All Day the Holiday sounds a little like Death Cab for Cutie, and The Fall of Troy sounds like Chiodos. And I almost forgot one of the best parts: signings. Though I missed getting Anthony Green to sign something for me, I did get Forgive Durden's frontman Thomas Dutton to sign my copy of Razia's Shadow. Overall it was a very awesome day! $20 for parking, though. Boo!

We have some new favorites after this festival...Jonny Craig and Chase threw it down! The band we traveled to Anaheim to see are our friends from Texas-Disco Curtis.Remember their name because you will be seeing them at the major music awards shows in a few years as nominees/recipients!!!! The most amazingly talented musicians for their age I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.Wow! these guys have got IT!

It was a great day, with the perfect weather and a beautiful location. The shuttle service was great, although paying for it was slightly frustrating since we've all already shelled out so much money for the tickets. It was an awesome lineup. My one complaint is that because of the beautiful yet slightly awkward setup, getting close to the main stage was an impossible task. There was poor stage line up planning, all of the good bands for the day were on the same stage, so the crowd never died, hence the never getting close. I enjoyed sitting on the beach soaking up the rays with my boyfriend, so it was a good day all in all.

Thank you Bamboozle for not only bringing the Festival back to Asbury Park, but for bringing a great mix of talent each day. Special "THANKS" to the City of Asbury Park, and its leaders, the police and fire departments, the emergency squads from all over New Jersey, and especially the great citizens of this city, for making all of us festival participants feel welcome in your great city. I, especially, hope that an event such as this, can continue to re-invigorate this "JEWEL" of the Jersey Shore. See 'ya all again Asbury Park ! Check out Asbury Park year round !! You'ld be amazed !! Thanks again from Point Pleasant Boro !! Ron C.

The Foo FIghters and Incubus made it worthwhile. Bon Jovi was good, but I have never been a major fan. This was a great package of music over three days at a place that is coming back to life - Asbury! Negative side - the Food. Horrible selection - Difficult to get a beer or a bite. Excellent shows and atmosphere. Will definitely be back to Asbury.

It was quite a different experience than most concerts i have been to. Its literally pure chaos all over! I hated that some of my favorite bands were playing at different stages at the same time!! But the Foo Fighters and My Chemical Romance were spectacular. I didn't have the best expectations for MCR and was disappointed that Blink 182 weren't playing, but all in all MCR killed it! At bamboozle there were a variety of acts from Pauly D to Motion City to The Ballyhoo!

This concert was great because not only do you get to sit in the sand, hear the ocean during intermissions and go explore the street vendors on the board walk, this event brings together some great bands. We are already planning to go next year of its anywhere close to Philadelphia. A few reminders though that we forgot: bring a blanket to sit on the beach with, bring a sweatshirt for the cool night and bring a water bottle in the event (turns Out you can we just didn't think to). Hope we can make the next one even better.

Bon jovi should not have been in that venue, with those other groups, I am a huge fan, I drove 3 hrs to see them, I was very disappointed, we left during the first half of the show. Bon jovi was playing for the younger people, the base was way to high, my heart and inside my ears were trembling, it was awful. Before Bon jovi came out I was in the crowd and hyperventilated , the music groups were to rough, they should not of been playing with them.

I spent a good amount of money on tickets to Bamboozle this year specifically to see Blink-182. When I found out that they weren't going to be able to make it...a week before the festival...I was naturally furious. The tickets are "non-refundable" but they were CERTAINLY not worth the price since the featured band DIDN'T SHOW UP. Offer insurance for the featured band. It was a serious let down when I couldn't see my favorite band perform. I still went, but I would not have bought the tickets had I known Blink wasn't going to be able to come.

The lineup was great and the set times were perfect. I think that they could have used the beach to their advantage a little more, but they still did a great job. Seeing Skrillex live for the 2nd time was a real treat when he closed at the main stage on the first day of Bamboozle Festival. As the last act of the show, he played a 2 hour set from 9pm to 11pm. Afterwords he had an afterparty from 11:30 till 2am where he had 2 awesome djs open for him and then Skrillex again performing for about an hour and a half. GREAT GREAT FRIDAY NIGHT. Looking forward in seeing Skrill again this year at Electric Zoo.

I loved the whole outdoor music fest experience. You get to see all walks of life there lol....tons of rock music and more. Perfect at the beach! Only prob was, it got cold and windy on the last day (not fault of concert lol) and you werent allowed back out!?? Thats not cool...especially since it got so cold that afternoon which was not predicted by weather forecasts. So the festival makes you eat whatever crummy food in the caged area. Meanwhile right outside the gates is some awesome food :( Anyway it was worth it...just I would make it that you can go out as long u have a stamp or something

I have been attending Bamboozle for many years and wasn't sure about the change in venue. I was pleasantly surprised. The bands were all awesome and for the most part the event was well organized. The festival itself felt like just one huge line after another. The bands were scattered, and unfortunately for us, we wanted to see a band the same exact time the FF were playing, but they were playing in a completely different area of the festival so we missed them. Also, since I haven't been to a festival in years, my daughter talked me into getting towards the front, and ppl were pushing so hard, my feet weren't on the ground any longer. It was disgusting having everyone's bodies pressed together and moving like one giant organism. Also, couldn't stand the crowd surfing that began during All American Rejects. Maybe I have become less tolerant, but I've been to over 180 concerts and noone was ever passed over heads at the rate they were being passed at this show... my daughter and I both got kicked in our faces by someone who was too heavy for us to 'pass'. I would never do it again! Lines for bathroom were ridiculous.. constantly!

Took my 15 year-old son to the Bamboozle. I had said for weeks prior to the event that I really wanted to go and see Foo and Blink. My son looked at the paper and saw My Children My Bride was also on Saturday. My wife encouraged us to go so off we went. What a great day. I had prepared my son for what to expect...the worst of humanity. But what we got was an awesome day, a way cool crowd, and memories for a liftime. I was bummed that Blink had to cancel but MCR did a great job filling their spot. Foo Fighters crushed it.

I have never had so much fun at a music festival as I did in these 3 days. I was so tired and sore by the end of the day but it was worth it all. I was able to forget about the world for just a little bit and enjoy myself which does not seem to happen much anymore. I loved listening to bands I wasn't familiar with and seeing bands/people I have wanted to see badly. It was also nice to see bands that I have already seen. When I got there the first band I saw was somewhat disappointing, the lead singer wasn't getting into the crowd and was more worried about his monitors then putting on a great performance, but then the show went up and up from there. The Lazarus project was hilarious, had a fun live performance, then 3OH!3 (Who i'm not a fan of at all) put on an extremely fun show followed by Cobra Starship who also was extremely impressive. But of course the only reason I went to the show was to see Something Corporate and Andrew F#%&ing pulled it off again. They were amazing, the guitarist was living it up, and clutch the bassist was also enjoying the moment. Their set list was amazing playing songs I fell in love with only song they didn't play that I would have liked to hear was Drunk Girl. Basically this was the most AMAZING show I have been to yet and to everyone who missed out, your loss.

Well, what can I say. Being out in the hot sun all day hanging out with a bunch of great friends was awesome, but what really made the concert great were the energetic performances by numerous artists. Matt & Kim, Ok Go, Motion City Soundtrack, Girl Talk, and last but most definitely not least, Weezer interacted with the crowd and really hyped us all up. As the crowd went crazy, so did the artists on stage. It takes a while for the more known artist to appear, but when they do, be ready ready for them.

Had a good time and took my daughter, she really wanted to see Motion City Soundtrack, they performed really good and then they took the time to talk to the fans later at some of the merchandisng tents after they performed and also signed autographs and let you take pictures with them. Weezer was awesome, it was so funny when they started singing Lady Gaga and MGMT. Most of the performances were really good. There was trash everywhere on the ground and the prices for food and drinks were crazy. I was really frustrated that there were no Bamboozle tour t-shirts when i got there on Sunday around 4:00. There were 2 main stages and 3 smaller stages set up, so there was always something going on. It was hot, it would have been nice if there was some shade, they did have a tent with a sprinkler set up.

It was really really hot, but i just had to go in the rain rooms to feel better..Water too expensive though and food too! The time's setting was perfect so I got to see everyone I wanted to! Matt&Kim were the best ones..Those guys are amazing!!Probably the live band that I liked the most ever..MGMT were really good too even if i thought they were gonna be better! Found new cool bands! evrything in general would be better with more benches and shadow.. I would go again!

The day was hot, the shows were hotter! Weezer, Kesha and many more top artists took the six main stages for a full day of music and celebrating the talents of many top artists. There was another stage for the B'Boys, the breakdancers that make body movements that we would think all but impossible look easy! There were more than 1000 different t-shirts from many vendors spread out throughout the venue, and each shirt had a unique design. Illusionists, poets and other performers rounded out the day. But there were many more stars there during the day... the emergency responders who watched over and took care of the more than 35,000 people on site during the very hot and humid weather. They provided relief from the heat, sunscreen and the most basic service of all, kindness and compassion. Many of the show-goers thanked them for providing water... yes, simple drinking water. Which brings me to the other side of the day... "$25" was the first thing you heard when you arrived at the meadowlands... that was for parking. A bottle of water was $4.50, a slice of pizza $6, a cheeseburger $7 and a fruit smoothie $6. The mandatory food purchases were over $75 for three of us. And you had no choice. The food vendors were the only ALLOWABLE food to be consumed on site. The show gets an A+, the venue a D. Let the music play, and let people eat and drink without experiencing such an offensively high price for the food, drinks and parking. When you realize that there was more than an 1,800 percent markup on the water, maybe the stadiums and venues that sell water could at least make it more reasonable. But then again, if you ask them, they'll tell you it's business.

This was my first bamboozle festival ever. AND IT WAS AMAZING. Seeing a bunch of different genres of music playing after eachother on a beautiful beach in Ausbury Park, NJ for 3 days straight. PERFECT WEEKEND WITH THE PALS. had a good mix of rock music with dubstep during that awesome weekend. If the line up for next year is amazing like it was this year YOU SHOULD GO if you haven't gone already.

I've seen most of these bands before, but everything was incredible! I managed to see Nevershoutnever, Ballyhoo!, The All-American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World, My Chemical Romance, and the Foo Fighters, and they were all amazing! Each band put on a phenomenal show, and the atmosphere was so great and chill! I wish I could go again!

It was ... fine. I was disappointed that they got My Chemical Romance to replace Blink 182, but obviously not everyone dislikes them as much as I do. The ticket price seemed worth it to see Blink & the Foo Fighters - not so much with the lineup change.

The Festival was great. I loved every single stage. The main stage was so pack but still everyone was having a good time. Well My Chemical Romance was ok, but I wanted to see Blink 182. Foo Fighters Closed the show and it was amazing 5 stars for them.

What a terrible place to hear a concert. Beach club was shunned off to the far side of the stage. No where close to the stage and the sound system was not set up to project well into this area so it was easy for those around you to out-sing the groups. Moreover, the area was fenced in with a fence that had areas for people to be able to stand on the fence about 2 feet off the ground; thereby blocking the view from the people in the nearby area. Recap- sound system terrible, Beach club was a complete rip out and it was hard to see. Will never return again.

The music was superb. However, the way certain things were handled by the Bamboozle and Live Nation staff were not so good. I did not appreciate paying for a 3-day wristband and VIP pass to have your staff tell me that both were invalid due to their mistake in scanning. After complaining to a manager, it was resolved but it left a bad taste in my mouth. And how come I could not exit the festival and come back in? Wasn't that part of VIP? VIP section was not as good as advertised. Off to the side and far away from the stage? The sound was lousy on that side, so I ended up going to the beach and watching most of the show where it was better.

Overall, it was a nice event! There were definitely a lots of bands that were playing during the 3 days. Of course, you'd have to pick and chose since they are all playing at the SAME time. Once you get your hand on a schedule (which was impossible to find at the venue), the bands adhere to their schedule slots. Not sure about the no re-entry policy. It would be nice for the people with 3 day pass have the freedom to exit and return since the event lasts over 8 hrs on Saturday and Sunday. Other than the minor details, great experience, great music, totally Bamboozle!

Once you got into the concert area you were unable to leave and it was a very cold and windy day and there wasnt that much shelter. The food selection was limited so was the seating when we were waiting for the shows to start. The best part was Gaslight Anthem and BonJovi. There were no seats in the area where the main stage was even though my tickets had seat numbers. I was truly disappointed until the last 2 hours

It was my first ever music festival, and my first time ever seeing Bon Jovi! I traveled halfway around the world for this and it was totally worth every cent. Buckcherry was awesome too! I came mainly for Bon Jovi and was so glad i made it to the front and even got to shake Jon's hand. Bamboozle should be at least twice a year!

I paid over $300 for a 3 day wrist band. Two weeks beofre show Blink 182 canceled. so this was very upset because this is the main reason why I wanted to go. Foo Fighters, Pauly D, and Bon Jovi were good. Food was very expensive, but I know you get this at events. Overall concert was ok.

Everything was very well organized. The place was great. There were variety of music, rock, house, etc. Variety as well in food and drinks, many places to buy. Souvenirs available. But there weren´t schedules or programs published, so certainly we missed some performances. Concerning Bon Jovi's performance it has been amazing, one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Atmosphere was good, no fights, no drunks.

This was one of the greatest concerts I've ever been! Despite Foo Fighters begin awesome the Bamboozle festival infrastructure was really good. The lines were really fast, there was food available every where and it was really easy to get in NJ from NY. The only problem was that the hotels in NJ were really expensive! Since the NJ transport is good I didn't sleep there.

overall good time. music was going on alll day! If you didn't have anything going on you could walk up to any stage and check out something new. Coke and Vitamin water were sponsors so they were giving out free samples all day. The only thing that sucked was that it was sponsored by coors lite.... Oh and they should have spaced out the main stage and the saints and sinners stages more so we didn't have to hear skrillex playing during every band that played at the saints and sinners stage.... Drove all the way from Chicago for this and it was so worth the trip. Just make sure you go with people who actually WANT to go for the ENTIRE festival and not just the headliners....

Foo fighters rocked as did Anti Flag. The traffic getting to Monmouth raceway to pick up the shuttle was a nightmare. Took 2 hours when you got off the parkway to go a few miles. Bumper to bumper as the police just sat on the side of the road and watched and blocked a travel lane. Do you think they could have directed the traffic instead of making everyone wait for the traffic light to change? This put a real negative effect on the day as we missed the first 2 hours of the concert because of this. The shuttle was a great idea but you must do something about being able to get to the raceway to pick up the shuttle. Once at the venue, it was great!!! The Meadowlands is a much better venue as I have been going there for the last 5 years, much easier to get to.

I thought the beach club and shuttle would have made it nice. You could see ok from beach club the real sound was on the boardwalk. When Jon came out I could not beleive how good he looks. I have friends the same age, they look like they could be his dad. This was my first bamboozal, I would do it again but too intense for the kids. I took my son to Mountain Jam that was more family friendly. Shuttle Yea , Beach club nay. We will come to asbury to see Govmt mule at pony.

I enjoyed some of the main acts, especially the Foo Fighters, but way too many tickets were sold. I waited in the Will-Call line for an hour in the hot sun. Terrible planning. A will-call window should be a convenience, not a hassle. Not allowing parking in Asburry park was also a bad idea, I walked 20 blocks from the train station, why not set up parking areas around that area? This way I could have parked and walked from a parking area...instead I had to drive to a train station, wait, wait, wait, get on the train, and then walk from the station to that horrible will-call area. It took forever to actually get to the event and I missed some really good acts. Thirdly, you had too many surcharges. It was way too expensive to put up with all that waiting and horribly overbooked crowds.

I only bought tickets for Saturday Bamboozle, as my daughter, her friend and I enjoyed Six Flags Great Adventure the day before. Asbury Park is a great venue for a concert festival. Right on the beach and we got lucky with the weather. We parked ourselves at the main stage since the gates opened. They had a nice lineup leading up to the main act, the Foo Fighters. FF was fantistic! Dave Grohl said he wanted to rock as long as we wanted, but later explained that after the show, they had to helicopter over to do SNL hosted by Mick Jaeger. But rock they did! The Foo Fighters were the best act I have seen live this year. And afterwards, the sky filled with fireworks behind the main stage. It was awesome!

Bought a 3-day wristband basically to see Bon Jovi, but enjoyed most of the performers on the main stage all 3 days! For having such a large amount of people at the event, I felt things were handled very well and never felt crowded. Bathrooms were available and clean(with tp always!) Food and drink lines no more than a 2 min wait! Crowd was never out of control. Plenty of EMS and security around. Only negative- would like to have had the option to go in and out of the venue. Other than that, we had a great weekend! Hope to see it back in Asbury next year. How bout asking Bruce if he would stop by!

I'm just saying that because we have THE best time and I want it all to myself next year. No really, this event was great. Asbury Park was an amazing place for this. Watching band after band oceanside on a perfect day. Oh yeah and we had no trouble parking and riding in our shuttle buses totally worked great for the price!

As nickname suggests i am fron the UK, Asbury was a must as i am a massive BOSS fan, my last tripo to NY to see him at the Giants stadium a couple of years back. Bamboozle, fantastic organisastion, both transport and at the event, perfect festival setting on the beach. Being from the UK we are used to festivals being drunken affairs with lots of premium strength booze. Bamboozle made this difficult, which was sensible due to beach location, and made for a more enjoyable eveny overall. Well done Bamboozle, worth the 7 hour flight, and 2 hour train journey from Manhatten.

This was the first opportunity i had to go to bamboozle and wow i wasn't disappointed in the least. Having the show back in Asbury was the best idea they could have done, I really hope they have it there again soon. what really made my experience well worth it was the atmosphere itself. The main stage on the beach made a together sort of feeling and how each stage represented a different feel of music that was played really made it come all together. In a nutshell for me this is just the beginning for a yearly trip to bamboozle but i do hope it is just as well put together in years to come.

I my self have been to five bamboozles counting this year, but this year with the amazing Bon jovi head lining I surprised my mother with tickets for mothers day. I wasn't sure how she would enjoy the event but we both loved it. The mixture of bands and vendors kept us both busy all day. The handicap and travel accommodation were spectacular as well. The arangers clearly understood the urban area that asbury is and clearly found great ways to work around it. My mother has both back and knee problems and we bOth really appreciated being accommodated in the sitting area so we could enjoy a clear view even though we couldn't enjoy the heart of the crowd feeling.

This was my second time to Bamboozle and this year was even better then last year since it was in Asbury Park. Parking was convenient and the shuttle bus was nice even if they didn't check the bus pass I bought before I got on. I saw several bands/artists I've been dying to see and they were all flawless. And to end the night, since I was only there on Friday, Skrillex was better then I imagined and his set lasted 1.5 hours! To top it all off, the weather was perfect all afternoon and evening. I would and probably will go to this again.
