We love Trevor Noah, but were slightly disappointed in his stand-up act. We wanted more edgy political content. Obviously, that's hard to do, since it changes daily. But, it seemed to be 80% traditional funny stories and 20% political (anti-Trump). We attended with several Harley Rouda supporters (candidate against Rohrabacher for Congress), dining at Wolfgang Pucks at South Coast Plaza beforehand. Good choice for a meal!

I was really looking forward to seeing Trevor since I am a fan of the Daily Show and I think he's doing a pretty good job as the new host. Reading other reviews of his shows he sounded like he would be entertaining, but I was very disappointed. He spent most of the show discussing racism and the police. A very valid topic given recent headlines, but he should not have dedicated his entire show to the topic. Most of the show had a serious tone...he wasn't bringing any humor to the subject. I came to laugh but spent most of the show shaking my head. His warm up act was also terrible. He had no jokes and had to pull on the audience in the front rows.

Trevor Noah is a breath of fresh air. His Town Hall gig was fab. Wonderful observations about New Yorkers and living in NYC. And... his segment about terrorism and Muslims in the wake of the Paris attacks was spot on. He hit the nail on the head with his comments. Overall, a great night with a wonderful comedian. Calm, observant, humble, likeable and fun. Nice job, Trevor! :-)

By the end of the show, it was clear why Trevor Noah was chosen to replace Jon Stewart on The Daily Show. He absolutely killed it with his razor-sharp observations of American life and place in the world and his accents and impressions were absolutely spot on! I highly recommend catching him if he comes around to your town. You're in for a treat!

I've been following Trevor Noah for quite a few years now and have always loved his material, especially the South Africa-focused parts. This show was much more targeted for an American audience, understandably, but still had me laughing the entire time. I loved seeing him deliver in person and loved hearing the new material.

Trevor Noah is brilliant! His stand-up routine kept us laughing the entire time he was on stage. He is a great story teller who sees the humor in day to day activities, But then, I knew that from listening to him read his memoir, "Born a Crime". I love his accent and those dimples. . . .smart and cute. . .a winning combination! The fact that he was personally chosen by Jon Stewart to take over the Daily Show gives him real credibility in this field. Loved the show! However, the warm-up act (didn't catch his name) was a little too liberal with the "F" words, Funny, but he needs to expand his vocabulary!

Great show, great crowd. Trevors material was pretty good, but not as good as his past content. I do like his mention of his African roots and historical reference of the French losing all of their wars. I forget the name of the opener, but he was pretty funny as well.

I enjoy Trevor Noah comedy I have seen before. This performance was too focused on race based comedy. Additionally this performance was also focused too negatively on the Presidential politics. I paid for and want to hear the comedy, not the personal beliefs of the comedian. I was not fully pleased with the performance and the content. Wake up and focus on your craft.

Whether you are a liberal or conservative, you will enjoy his view of American politics and laugh along with the hilarity from his perspective. But, the politics is only a small morsel from the menu of the host of 'The Daily Show'. His deliveries of his upbringing as a young boy in 1980's South Africa, his acclimation to American culture, and world travels is the real meal of his show. This is my 2nd Trevor Noah live show and it was unbelievable. He is sharp witted, current, and hilarious. This show was a major highlight of 2016. i was front row in the pit section and I feel like I had an amazing opportunity to see a legend of our lifetime in the beginning stages of his career. His talent is undeniable. His strength is his appeal to a broad spectrum of humanity. There were the elderly to teens at this show of all races and nationalities. This is what America is about, celebrating the talents and success of all of God's children regardless of the appearance of their physical shell. I've seen Trevor Noah twice in California in a year. Both shows were so funny! There was only one joke that he repeated in the second show which is great because both shows that I saw were so close in date to eachother. Both shows I was seated first row and center and I would spend more money for the seats and expereance I had. I also really liked the intro comedian I forgot his name which sucks because he opened for Trevor both shows that I saw. Of course because I was for t and center the opener talked to me and asked me questions about myself! It was so funny he got the whole audience to chant for my boyfriend to propose to me on stage...... Needless to say he didn't but it made for a good story. I will definitely go to see him again! I love Trevor Noah!!!!

Trevor Noah..to me lived up to expectations in his Performance @ the Wilbur theater I saw his video Trevor Noah: African American very funny , thought provocating , insightful and his punch lines delivery are masterful. I would See his Performance Again..

Mystic Lake is not smoke free, so the smell and smoke does linger and spread throughout the show rooms. Trevor Noah was hilarious and funny. We had a wonderful time watching him and his opening comedian. We wish it could have been a bit longer, but overall had a wonderful time.

Trevor is a rare comedian that carries a higher degree of intelligence. His accents are pretty darn good. Definitely leans on the liberal side but not without evidence and thought put into it.

Trevor paced the stage telling hilarious stories and too funny cautionary tales rather than simply telling jokes. His quick wit and perfectly timed delivery made his performance as edgy, fast paced and satisfying as anything I ve seen him do on The Daily Show. Loved it.

I don't often have time to watch the Daily Show, but I had listened to Trevor Noah's audiobook, Born A Crime, which was very funny, so I bought tickets to this event. I am so happy I did. He was just as funny live. My brother and I, who are pretty different, laughed pretty much the entire set. Incidentally, there were no jokes repeated between the audiobook and the performance, which I appreciated. Amazing work. Staff at the event were all very friendly. There was a line for the women's restroom, but none for the men's. Parking to leave the venue took a while-- something seems to have happened at one of the gates-- but I'd seen the volume of people myself and had been forewarned by emails from the venue, so I didn't really mind. We left through a different gate. 10/10 would do this again.

Trevor Noah spends his time telling you stories that make you laugh. I would have been disappointed if there weren t some political jokes thrown in there and at the same time I m relieved that it wasn t the majority of the show.
