The costumes! The set! The actors young and old! So visually stimulating! LOVED IT!!

The touring show of the Lion King was a sight and sound experience like no other. The troup seamed to actually care and enjoy preforming. When you enjoy your work it shows. The venue was a little different and not what I expected however it was a lot better the. The negative reviews. To enjoy a three hour production you have to sit forward for the presidential circle, row m . The chaire were wide and plush. Plenty of leg and shoulder room. Seat backs rock.

Show was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed it so much that we can not wait to see it again!

Disney's "The Lion King" was, in a word, breath-taking. Nothing I have ever seen can even compare. The sets, costumes, and the puppetry; the music, and artisty; the attention to detail, and the over-all "wow factor", were all well beyond par. Personally, I have always been waiting for a theatre performance to blow my socks off, and after many pevious trips, I went home dissapointed; this time my socks were finally blown, and I couldn't clap my hands hard enough.

the show was absolutely wonderful!!! I was never bored and the costumes were magnificient!! I would recommend this to another one from children to seniors.

My husband and I went to the Lion King as our anniversary present to each other. It was amazing! We do not have kids and a lot of people thought that it was a little weird that we were going to a "kids" musical...well I'm glad we didn't listen. It is suitable for both kids and adults. We would go again in a second.

The Lion King at the Jubilee was amazing! The music, costumes, performers, the animals, everything, it was all so breath taking! Timon and Pumbaa were so hilarious they were even better than in the cartoon. I think the whole show captured the personalities of each character very well and the singing was fantastic! I would go see it again without any hesitation. Kudos to the amazing people who put it all together!!!

Over all I thought the lion king was wonderful, though it may have been a touch long. The costumes were extrodinary. I would recommend for children over the age of 8. The younger ones though good, got tired and fidgetted after about an hour.

Spectacular, magical masterpiece. Worth every coin.

I loved the singing and the storyline but what amazed me, by far, was the incredible costumes and props and the unbelievable amount of imagination and talent that went into making them. Stupendous is not a big enough word. I would go back to see it again for that reason alone. Loved it.

Our seats were in the second balcony...this is one time that I wish I could have afforded the VIP tickets. We couldn't see the detail in the costumes, but from where we were, it was incredible. I would recommend this to anyone!

It was amazing show. I was very impressed how they were able to bring the animal characters to life. The costumes were stunning. It was very impressive how they were able perform the scene of Sinbad's father falling into the the pit. I thought it was fantastic how they used the sitting area as part of the performance. It has been a week since we seen the show and we are still talking about it. It was the best musical performance that we have attended. Strongly recommend people to see it and would see it again!

More than I expected...once again Disney does not disappoint! Infectious music, imaginative costumes, wonderful performances! We took our 4 year old daughter and she loved it too!

I was blown away the second the show started....AMAZING!!! I took my two elementry aged children and they loved it. My son was seated on the isle and had a hyena stop and hiss at him during one act. It was so much FUN! Very good Broadway production and is worth seeing. The cast was excellent! Young or Old this is for Everyone!!!!

Dance moves are great and costumes terrific. the only problem is a re-occurring one with the Jubliee. The sound is never very crisp and always over amplified and so words are hard to hear. It is just not acoustically a great venue. it would help if they didn't over amplify so much Fussy

I took my six year old grand-daughter to see this spectacular show and we were both spell bound for the entire performance. This was her first theater experience and I am sure that it will be the start of many theatrical visits for her.

Loved the performace, as always. So glad to see that Edmonton is getting the same types off productions that are enjoyed on Broadway.

The play had a good story and the costumes were very colorful. The backdrops were stunning!!! We enjoyed the whole performance from start to finish.

The entire experience was wonderful. There were four of us and we enjoyed each and every minute of the entire experience. We would all see it again. Loved loved loved it.

The child performers were excellent and sold the characters. Powerful voice of Rafiki is unforgettable...she could really belt it out! The set creativity made the animals and even the grass real and believable. It was enjoyable to watch the performers animation as they brought their "puppet characters" to life. Very impressive and memorable!

The costumes, set design and story make this musical so entertaining! I loved the colors and symbols used to tell the story and the rhythms of the music. The Lion King brought a different level of how musicals can be presented.

The Lion King is one of the best shows I have ever been to. The creativity of the costumes coupled with the unbelievable dancers, singing and music was almost more than one could take in. It's a show I would happily see again and again!

Everything about the Lion King production was fantastic. The sets and costumes were excellent. The musical perfomances were great.

Our family of 13 went and everyone enjoyed it. Our 6 grandchildren were mesmerized. They loved Timon and Pimba. The girls loved Nulla. The music was wonderful and wow the costuming was amazing

This was the second time that I have seen the play and once again the music, costumes and sets were absolutely wonderful. I did find it very difficult to understand what Scar, the Three Hyenas and Nanu were saying when they spoke - Scar's singing was easy to understand. I have a hearing impairment and it was very frustrating - I felt like I was missing out! I would think in this era of modern technology, the sound could be improved to make it easier for all to hear and understand.

We were mesmerized and amazed form the start to the finish. The costumes are outstanding, the music is amazing, the actors were incredible. You should not miss this event. The best Edmonton has ever hosted!

The most amazing costumes I have ever seen. WOW. The music was great the acting was wonderful and I really enjoyed it. The only problem I had was hearing all the words at times. Glad I went though.

The colour, the pageantry, the singing, the dancing, what more can I say? It was wonderful, even from the second balcony. There was three generations attending in our group and everyone got so much pleasure from it. Bravo to the stage and directing staff as well. A marvellous performance.

The costumes are simply unbelievable. The sets that change bring you right into the story.

I took my four kids to the Lion King in the hopes of exposing them to a musical that they would enjoy, maybe instilling the love of theatre in them. I think it worked! Everything was fantastic: the costumes, the action, the music, the cast, the venue, the costumes. Watching the elephant walk down the aisle was one of our favorites, but the giraffes and Mufasa and Scar s lion heads were also incredible to watch. We had so much fun! The kids loved the jokes and references to other recent Disney shows that made it relatable to them. I enjoyed the additional music and even a few scenes I don t remember in the movie.

After 30 years, it's still the best, and they've done a great job of updating the script to keep it current.

What a wondering evening. We chose "The Lion King" as the perfect play to introduce two of our grandsons to the theater -- "SUCCESS".

This was my 10 yo godsons & 12 yo littles first trip to the DSM & they were kinda hesitant about going as we have seen some not so great musicals at other venues. Our seats were located in the balcony & before intermission the 10 yo leaned over and told me that this was the greatest show! Personally, it s my third time seeing it and each time I ve seen it, there is always something I feel like I didn t see before. The first moment that the musical opens with the chant, I feel goosebumps because I know I m in for a treat. The 10 yo said the lion king is the best musical I ve ever seen and I d go back and see it again! The 12 yo said it was really a great show! Grab your spouse, your kids, your friends or go by yourself . . . It s a must see!

My wife and I first saw the Lion King in Las Vegas in 2011 and we were absolutely blown away. When we saw it was coming to the Plaza Theatre in El Paso, we knew we had to take her parents to see it. Needless to say, we were all thoroughly impressed. There are certainly a lot of great things to say about this show, but the one that stands out to me is the incredibly imaginative and effective way the animals are depicted. It is absolutely jaw dropping. The set design and lighting were also excellent, and the entire cast was first rate. I guess our favorites were the comic relief provided by Zazu, Timon and Pumbaa. Those three performers were just outstanding. Wonderful story, wonderful music and a visual spectacle beyond compare. Oh, and the venue - the Plaza Theatre - is an absolute gem!

Bought my son and I the tickets without knowing what to expect. I am sooooo glad I did. What an awesome show. So much talent and beautiful characters. Definitely a memory that will never diminish.

The music, amazing costumes and incredible talent was experienced by all. I took my 9 year old granddaughter to her first professional musical and she was captivated. My first time was in Las Vegas and I was hooked. Now seeing it again and seeing my granddaughter s reaction and excitement, I was so very happy. Great performance, it was breathtaking!

Great venue, fantastic show! We sat on Row B of the Grand Tier- nearly perfect view! The animal parade was visible as they neared the stage.

From the costumes, to the music, to the entire production it was absolutely spectacular! My 3 & 1/2 year old granddaughter loved it as much as I did!! Great show! And the ushers who helped us at the door went above & beyond!! Thank you for such an amazing experience!

What a brilliant show and I have seen a lot in the West End in London. Was absolutely thrilled to see this was in Little Rock whilst I was visiting family as this was one show I had not yet seen in London. It was absolutely fantastic - the performance, the acting, the singing - absolutely top Class. Do not miss this whilst it is here. The costumes are fantastic and how they portray the whole show in the costumes is wonderful. I was bought up in Africa and the music and singing wonderful.

We have seen The Lion King Musical around 13 years ago in Hamburg/Germany. Again an unforgettable day. Wonderful show, great actors. We hope to have the chance to see it again soon. A must see for every Disney fan.

The Lion King is a must see show. It brought me to tears twice. We really enjoyed our seats in the orchestra right area. For an amazing experience, definitely sit near an aisle if you can for this show ;-)

I turned into an 8 year old kid again as the opening act came down the isle. Do Not be late!! You Will be sorry you did. I m going to bring my third grade class next year and not skip school without them. It s a must see for all.

Great show, as always, but I know over time there will be changes. But I really fell in love with the show, when it first was introduce here in Houston. I have seen the show each time it has come to Houston. This is my third showing, but it was a little different with some of the scenes and some of the music as well. Don't have anything negative to add, but a really nice show. I wish sometime, producers, directors would leave shows in their original form. But that is just me.

Amazing and can't get it out of my mind! Their hard work shows off in every scene.

Lion King was absolutely amazing. I was so excited to be taking my granddaughter, but afterwards I felt absolutely blessed & honored to have shared this amazing musical/show with her. This is one experience that she & I will be able to share with family & friends for years to come.

It brought my cousin to tears from the first note. I teared up a few times too, I won't lie. The music, costumes, dancing and performers were all top notch. I felt like I was in the middle of the movie. Dream come true!

The Lion King did not lose its touch the music and story was still beautiful even after 8 years...new cast but same beautiful performance.

My husband & I took our 3 and 1 year olds to The Lion King! Each of us enjoyed this amazing production. My 3 year old asks us daily where the Lion King friends are! The cast left a lasting impression and we are grateful! We also want to mention how beautiful the Hobby Center was and how easy it was to transition, even with two small children. To the cast and all who worked on the show: You all are so gifted - and we thank you for sharing your gifts with us!

Beautiful venue and great production. Amazing! Ticketmaster mentioned an age suggestion and I would agree. Our 8 year old loved it, the 3 or 4 year old near us cried through most of it.

This was my first time seeing this classic show, it was great, i definitely will see again.

The entire production exceeded my expectations. Just an absolute piece of perfection. I had the opportunity to sit in the orchestra pit and it was mind blowing.

The Lion King stage play was better then I could imagine! The artistic of the wardrobe was extraordinary awesome! The graphics was so realistic! Everyone need to see this stage play! The children will love it! I'll be going to see it every time it's shown here in Detroit!

This was such a wonderful show. The sets were great and the performers were amazing. Rafikki's character is always my favorite. I love the way it was performed although she is not on the stage to often. Every time she was on was pure enchantment.

First time at Detroit Opera House. First time seeing Lion King. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! I had such a great time. There were 15 of us and everyone said they'd go again and would for sure pay more for floor seating (we were in the balcony), to witness the characters walk down the aisle ways. :)

This show is amazing. The costumes, the stage, the characters were bright, colorful and very powerful. I took my granddaughter and son in law. Neither of them are easily impressed. They were both on the edge of their seats. We had balcony seats which gave us a bird's eye view (I personally like balcony, I can see the whole stage). There is so much to see, I would love to go again. I'm sure there are things I missed as there is so much movement on the whole stage.

This was a gift to my mother for her 82nd birthday. A wonderful experience for my 82 year old mother and my god daughter! As an adult this play transforms you to a child--thru the art and science of storytelling. If the play returns i plan to take the grand babies. Beautiful and engaging.

Great experience, the child actors could have spoken a little more clearly and there some issues with microphones, but overall FANTASTIC!

My son ask to experience traveling via airplane for his six birthday. When I ask him where he would like to fly to, he responded, "Africa!!!" This was the closest I could get him to the Serengeti on such short notice. It was "Out of Africa" Awesome!!!

It was sooo sooo good. I really loved it! Such a well put together show. The props, the choreography, the singing, I was just in awe. If you are contemplating about seeing it, stop & just buy the tickets. You won't regret it!

The venue in New Orleans has been historically restored and is absolutely gorgeous. We sat ORCH CENTER and the view was incredible. Acoustics were spot on. I agree with prior reviews, probably not a "bad seat" in the theatre ! The night sky that's displayed in the ceiling was beautiful, best viewed from a walk to the balcony section. The Lion King was entertaining, engaging, and performed in time with the movie. Definitely some STAR performances. Make the decision and get tickets. We are local, we were dropped off at the corner - parking was not needed. Merchandise was available on site and attractive. Drinks and snacks were available for a fee. Restrooms were clean. Don't delay - see this show before it moves to another city !!!

My two grandsons and I went to see Lion King in New Orleans last Sunday. It is an unforgettable show that will never be reproduced. The imagination and creativity that went into making those amazing animals come alive on that stage was totally amazing. My boys are only 4 and 6 and I promise you that they will NEVER forget that show. We were all overwhelmed by the message and the performers. This is a must see show.

The Lion King the Musical was the best! The puppeteer was incredible, the sets were unbelievable, the colors were bright, it had all the emotions, and you got a wonderful taste of some African music and culture. I liked how they came through the audience. My daughter and I LOVED it!

This was my first Broadway Play, and it is beyond fantastic. It truly is an experience I recommend. I felt transported to Africa, the performances were great, specially little Simba. Please go enjoy this amazing performance.

The show was OUTSTANDING. I actually had chills in different parts of the show. One of the best productions I have ever seen.

I took my seven year old granddaughter and she was fascinated. She clapped and her eyes were as big as saucers, never took her eyes off the performance. I had seen it before so I had to take her. She loved it, couldn't wait to tell her mom.

From the first scene I was hooked. The costumes were amazing!!! The signing, acting, and while performance was beyond words!

I first attended Broadway production Lion King. Once I saw Lion King was touring in NC, I persuaded my Mom and daughter it was a must-see. They both loved it. I obviously loved it the first time and did again this time. The touring cast and understudies did the Broadway cast justice.

I must say that I am a musician and I despised Broadway musicals because people were overly dramatic (in my former opinion). The detail that they put into this show and the professionalism of everyone on staff had me, my wife, and my friends that went with us in awe with our jaws on the floor from the moment it started, till the grand finale! If you have not seen this show (they stayed 5 weeks with us), then make it a priority to see this with your family, friends, cousins, enemy...it's that good lol! Music was awesome! Sound was superb!

The show was absolutely PHENOMINAL ! I took my mother as an early birthday present and we both enjoyed it very much . I would HIGHLY recommend seeing this as a date night or bringing appropriate aged children .

This was truly an amazing, breathtaking performance. I have been wanting to see the show for years. It did not disappoint! The costumes were incredible. The choreography was great and the technical effects were phenomenal! What they were able to achieve just on stage with lighting and props was awesome! It was simply AMAZING. The opening number had me in tears.

I have been looking forward to this show since I was a kid and it was just as exciting and magical as expected! I traveled from Fresno,CA to San Jose and it was very worth it. The actors were magnificent; extra pros to the lady who played Rafikki and the man who played Scar, they were amazing. The best part of the show was when they sang the Cycle of life and all the animals (actors dressed as animals) came out from the audience and interacted with everyone. Timon and pumba were hilarious!!! Every actor did an amazing job. Before the show there was a food party and drinks, then I proceeded to go to the merchandise booth where they had shirts and sweatshirts. I got a sweatshirt for $50 dollars which I believe it wasn't that bad of a price. The only thing that I would of had liked was for the stage at the San Jose performing arts to be bigger. It looked a little crowded, but since the show was so good, it was not noticeable by many. The staff was extra friendly and the venue was clean and safe. Great experience overall!

The show was fantastic. The performances were great overall. Scar and Mufasa were the best played characters. Although, the new songs were hit and miss(es). The set was gorgeous, the music was fabulous (as expected), the costumes were great (giraffes), and the choreography was very pleasing. Two thumbs and two big toes up!
