I fell in love Gramatik's music on Pandora, where I heard such unique and awesome tunes as Balkan Express, Just Jammin', Muy Tranquilo and many others, His live show at Tabernacle was very good but it was not exceptional because I did not hear any of these tunes nor did I hear any of the sort of music that I believe makes him an exceptional artist. When he sticks to "his" music, it is truly unforgettable, but when he just becomes another hip-hop or electronic music-spinning DJ, then he loses that uniqueness. For that reason--though I think HIS original stuff is five star all the way--I give this particular show three stars because I hardly heard any of that good stuff.

Loved gramatik and global dub, very upset with how triad is running the show this year, it seems they are all about the money and not about the experience and music

Serious THE best set I have seen this year, if not ever. I have been to countless shows at many different venues and that was the performance to beat. Gramatik played the best set I have ever seen him play, Gibbz and Branx threw the fuck down, Exmag was amazing as always and Lettuce was the perfect set to chill out right before a surprise Big Grizmatik set.

Gramatik for a NYE show was fantastic. The venue was convenient and right across the street from my hotel. I loved all of the openers and the length of the concert. Overall, it was one of my favorite NYs.

1st time at this venue, was pretty concerned with the seating situation at first see as it's a dance music show at a seated theatre. It was amazing. A few people wanted to be in their real seats, but for the most part, everyone kinda just did their thing. Gramatik was incredible as usual, I would definitely come to this venue again for another concert.

What a great way to spend New Years Eve. The whole concert was great from manic focus starting it from Exmag slowing it down and getting funky. Then Herobust came on and turnt up. Gramatik was by far the best ive seen him.

Gramatik threw the funk down! Whole crowd was dancing all night, opened with "Don't Let Me Down" and closed with "Obviously", great way to ring in the New Year with an unforgettable night and great balloon drop.

I've seen Gramatik at other venues, and I cannot stress enough how much better the OTHER performances were. I love Gramatik, and the music itself was great, albeit lacking a couple popular songs. I cannot ever complain about Gramatik and that is the ONLY reason this review is getting 4 out of 5 for me. If Gramatik and Herobust did not put on such a great show I would have given it a 2. The Ritz Ybor is really disappointing. Their rules are arbitrary and way too strict, and they do not use their space well at all. They do not allow re entry, and also ban water backpacks and lightshow gloves from the venue. The crowd that fills the Ritz is strange, many of them not familiar or even interested with the music. I give Gramatik a 6 out of 5. I give the Ritz Ybor a 2. All in all, this show had the potential to be so much better. Herobust and Gramatik were amazing, one of the other openers was awful. He kept playing songs that the crowd clearly was not itno, and had many breaks between songs. I am going back next week for Rusko, to give the Ritz another chance. Hopefully they will change their act soon.

Gramatik went on way too late. That's my main complaint. The opener was good/decent but not great and Gramatik didn't go on until after 11:15pm. Since I had a flight to catch six hours later this was a total bummer; I had to leave before I got to hear him. :(

HeRobust opened the show with some heavy dubstep, followed by the chill, 80s feel of Cherub and followed up by the sickest, awesome fusion between glitch hop, dub and some sweet lights by Gramatik. He knows how to run a show.

When Gramatik came on stage, it was worth the 2 hour wait after doors opened. His producing is quite an experience to feel because he really knows how to weave rhythms together, and it maintains interest for the listener. However, it was pure torture before then because the two acts that performed before him - Heroquest and Cherub - sucked. Heroquest had some okay beats, but there was no rhythm to his producing, just beat after beat after beat interspersed with weird sounds and it was very repetitive and boring. He was on stage entirely too long. The same can be said for Cherub. It seems that they went through their whole catalog of songs while on stage, and it was very difficult to even determine what their lyrics were about. I liked one of their songs (couldn't tell you what it was though) because it was funky and the main singer sounded like Prince, and it flowed well. However, Cherub did a better job playing their guitars when they stopped mumble singing into the microphone, and their guitar playing is something they should focus more on. Their songs were repetitive after a while as well, and should not have been on stage that long. I would go see Gramatik again if it was just him, or if he limited his before-stage acts to just one group and then if those people were on stage for no more than 30 minutes.

First time i saw them and ive been waiting to finally see them live. It was so amazing. They didnt do a live show, instead they did a DJ set type of show. The set was so sick, everyone was going nuts around me. Best "artist" to play at this show without a doubt in my mind. Stayed for The M Machine and left after they played.

Gramatik came out and introduced the special guest horn section, and the crowd lost their minds. The beats began, the lasers and visuals morphed along to the sounds. He started off at the stroke of 11 and kept the funkstep/future funk going until midnight, when he switched over to his dirty, classic-sounding "dubstep." Playing to a generally older crowd, the energy was minimal, but nonetheless it didn't stop Gramatik from playing every hit. Even some crowd-favorites like the collaborations he's done with GRiZ to create the mighty GRiZmatik; My People and Digital Liberation Is Mad Freedom. Confetti fluttered through the air as the night came to a disappointing, yet inevitable end. Aside from looking like we all just got done from swimming with our clothes on, there wasn't a face that wasn't plastered with a permanent smile. Gramatik killed it like always, blowing our twisted minds with the funk!

There was flood, frost, thunderstorm, and snowstorm warnings by 8PM. Yes they were smart and cancelled the show by 10, but that just meant we just danced for 2 hours while having snow drifts going straight into our faces. Gramatik himself was awesome, and tried to do what he could for his fans. I'm just disappointed in the Red Rocks venue for not rescheduling a show that should have had a filled stadium, instead of a bunch of people hiding inside for warmth.

This was my third Gramatik show and it was the best so far! (But I bet he can get even better.) Very jazzy and funky with some EDM thrown in too. There was a guest saxophone, flute, guitar, trumpet and Gibbz on vocals. Opening acts were pretty good too, especially Lettuce.

Had a cool opening group with dj, then a 2+ hour jam band, which really slowed the mood. Then, there was a 25 minute wait with nearly dead air until gramatik finally came on. Overall, my whole group was disappointed. We were even thinking that gramatik might not show up since the jam band played sooooo long.

Lettuce and Gramatik was absolutely wonderful, nothing can be a those big beautiful rocks and incredible sound. The first half of Gramatik's set was great, but I was a little disappointed when Griz came out to play with Gramatik. I love grizmatik and I have seen them a few times, but I was really looking forward to a night with Gramatik and I wish it was only Gramatik for the entire night because there is a big difference between Gramatik and Grizmatik. Other than that it was absolutely incredible and Lettuce absolutely has to headline at Red Rocks next summer!

I love the style of music that Gramatik promotes, future funk. It translates incredibly well to the live format and with live contributions from horns, saxophone, and vocals. Gramatik's new label, Low-Temp, is very talented. Complete game-changer to bring Griz and Dom from Big G too. This show went from being a underrated show, sandwiched between Global Dub, Brantley Gilbert, and Lana, to being potentially one of the best shows of the Red Rocks season. Can't wait for Rowdytown III now.

His first Red Rocks headliner was a sell-out and he wasn't the only one stoked by this. Guesting by Big Gigantic's sax player Dom and producer Griz added to the high-amp night giving us a taste of Big GrizMatik! We also enjoyed the go-go girls Brooklyn's Lettuce is a true trippy funk-electro experience. We missed the first two acts waiting to get in (too long in the lot!!!)

This guy is a musical genius. The single greatest collection of musical performance and talent brought together into one show. The production was insane. Exmag, Lettuce killed it. Every act far exceeded my expectations. Red rocks was as beautiful as ever. I will always see gramatik when he comes into town. And oh yea, he brought out Dom Lalli from big gigantic and griz for a big grizmatic section. Probably the best night of my life overall. So much fun and energy. So yea, go see this guy and thank me later.

Lettuce was awesome! Gramatik is about as electronic-y as I can get and he is a good time on his own, but seriously I paid to see him not Griz! Why must Griz always join in as a surprise!? Thats the worse surprise ever he makes the music super intense, dubstep-y and womp-y and I cant stand it. If he is going to play I wish that would be mentioned before buying my ticket cause his music, even in collab with Gramatik is not for me. Pretty bummed about it.

I thought this show was amazing. I've seen Gramatik a whole bunch of times, but haven't seen him in almost a year. I thought ExMag and especially Lettuce did an INCREDIBLE job opening the show and getting the groove going. Gramatik killed it and played with such great energy. And obviously the guest appearances from Dominick and Griz just melted my heart, because Gramatik, Griz and Big G are 3 of my top 4 favorite artists. And Red Rocks is possibly my favorite venue I've been to thus far in my life. I just thought it was the greatest. Great job to all of the performers, you are all so incredible :)
