WWE Royal Rumble

It was both my son and mines' first ever PPV event. and for him. It was Amazing I'm sure of it. I loved it too, til the point everyone found out reigns was the 30th entrant. I'm sure everyone will agree with this.

This was my first time going to the Royal Rumble and it was amazing. Especially when The Undertaker came out.

Great time at the 2017 Royal Rumble in San Antonio! Great crowd. Road trip from Chicago to San Antonio- just a terrific experience! Would definitely recommend this event for next year!

I had a lot of fun. Royal Rumble was my Favorite. It was an amazing experience. I was surprised by Chris Jericho. The fireworks were loud.

The matches were great not a single dud on the night. The return of Chris Jericho was insane.

Everything was electric from the walk in to the arena to the final fireworks. The food was actually pretty good and all the fans were just there to have a good time. My kids had a blast and my wife was actually more into it than any of us which made it an evening to remember! The Royal Rumble is the most fan interactive PPV of them all with the countdown clock so that made it even more exciting. A definite two thumbs up!!!

Amazing!! Seeing the Rock win the title and JERICHOOOOOOOOOOOO's return. All the matches were very fun.

as a wrestling fan there is no better feeling, than being at a live event.

The WWE knows how to put on an event! This was one of the better Rumble's in years!

I found this show to be very entertaining. Even though is was long and featured just a few matches, I didn't feel tired or anxious to leave as I have with other shows. They did have an issue with a couple of the big screens during the Rumble match that made it harder for many to enjoy, but they did get them fixed. The Royal Rumble did not disappoint. If your city hosts a "Big 4" PPV, go check it out if for no other reason than to immerse yourself in the atmosphere it creates.

It was a great card from top to bottom. I had so much fun. Charlotte versus Bailey was great. Owens-Reigns was a great match. Not a Roman hater, but loved when Braun Strowman came out. The A J Styles-John Cena match was really great. It was one of those on the edge of your seat matches. Cena wins his sixteenth World Title. What a great moment. Hated seeing Stlyles' lose, but a big moment still. The Rumble itself was really great, from start to finish. Even with Roman entering at Thirty. It was still an awesome Rumble.

me being a c4 quadriplegic paralysed from the neck down they had all the seating screwed up they had me seated in the middle of the row so everytime a wrestler would start to come out everyone would stand up and I wouldn't be able to see anything other than that it was a good time with my son

I was misinformed of the whole show time as I know there's preshow etc. but thought it would end later than it did (9:30pmcst)

First time going to the royal rumble. The crowd was great and had so much energy. It was a great show. We were kind of high up but still able to enjoy the experience. My only complaint was that the lines were way too long which I kind of expected. What I didn't expect was them running out of water bottle at so many of the stands. This isn't their first live event so you'd think they'd be more prepared and stock appropriately. Other than that, awesome time.

The rumble was awesome. I enjoyed Cena vs. Styles match.

I don't know whose fault it was but seats were sold in a blocked off section and we had to wait 2 hours to be relocated.

It was awesome grandson loved it and was very happy to see his favorite wrestler John Cena

This event is one that I will never forget. You definitely need to go to this event at least once in your life if you are a wwe fan.

I'm a big Roman Reigns fan.I watch WWE every Monday night and I record it so that i can watch it again another day.

WWE Royal Rumble was an awesome show with many great moments and high quality matches. It was a great experience in a great venue in an awesome city. I can't wait until WWE returns.

Our section was closed off due to production, or something, so we were given comp seats. Best thing to happen to us, we were given FLOOR seats!!! It was a great night for the entire family.

My dad, my brother, and I had an awesome time at the Royal Rumble and the Alamodome is an awesome facility. Would love to come back!

First time attending a WWE PPV at the Alamodome. Was jammed pack which was my only negative as it was crowded. Had fun seeing all of my favorite WWE wrestlers like AJ Styles, John Cena, Goldberg, Jericho, Lesnar, etc. Would go again if WWE ever came back to do a PPV.

The seats were great, there was great food choices, the only issue was the seats were a little to tight but still 5 stars!

Exciting, compelling, entertaining, memorable. Great atmosphere with the rest of the WWE Universe. I felt like a kid again.

Great event, besides the titantron going out for a good while. Would recommend to put less seats on the floor so that people could have a better view.

The event was amazing, the crowd was alive, WWE needs to hold more PPVs in San Antonio.

The Royal Rumble was amazing!!! We got to see all of the superstars in one event. Everyone in our party had a great time.

This event was good, went to the first one held here in the Alamodome. The first was far better, but this one was good.

The Alamodome is a great venue. Our seats were great and we could see the wrestlers with no issues. My only complaint is the long lines. I would've liked to been able to get a couple beers. You guys should have vendors walking the aisles during the show.

Great Event! Easy to get in the Alamodome! Took an Uber right to the front door! Lots of energy! Chairs were pretty comfortable! Concessions were good, but lines were long!

The Rumble it self was fantastic, but monitor was blocked by wrestle mania sign. So we had a hard time seeing the out of ring action.

I would say that the Royal Rumble was a PERFECT 10!!!!!!!

Ticketmaster, wwe and alamodome do not accept any ownership for error. Section d was all set up wrong, seats were not the ones purchased due to seating chart wrong from online to actual. Moved 4 times. They all 3 point the fInger at each other.

The event was great. My only beef with TM is I have AV cabling between me and the ring which obstructed my view partially which wasn't mentioned when I bought the tickets. I would have picked another section had I known that. The Alamodome was a shit show. When we were let into the building and I got to my section. No one was being allowed into their seats. it took 20 minutes to get a reason why out of staff (apparently curtains had been put to close to seated customers. Then staff mentioned seat upgrades but didn't have tickets. 15 more minutes goes by and we are told only certain rows were getting upgrades and we barely had time to get to our seats before the preshow started. Once the preshow was done I went to go get a drink. Oh wait. NONE of the concessions on our side of the dome were open and I had to go 20 sections over to find jam packed lines 20+minutes long. No thanks. Went back to my seat and there were still people trying to get seat upgrades.

No suprize entrants, no fanfare, nothing about the rumble match was good.

It was my first live WWE event and it was great! At first I thought it would be weird to see an event without the commentary (been watching too much TV!) but you easily forget about that and really get into the show, plus with the crowd going wild, you can't help but get swept up.

Failed ticket relocation process. Missed the show.

WWE Royal Rumble at the Alamodome in San Antonio. It was a once in a blue moon opportunity to go and it didn't disappoint. My family and I had a great time. We got to see our favorite WWE Superstars. It's was awesome!!!

Loved the Rumble. My fourth Rumble in 9 years. One of my favorite times of the year being Mania season. Loved being part of the 52,000 plus people at the Alamodome. Good luck with next years NCAA Final Four.

The "Royal Rumble" was my second ever WWE Pay-Per-View event I attended besides "WrestleMania 24" in 2008. I had a great time reacting to the matches and seeing my favorite wrestlers. Always will remember that night.

Even from the seats I had, which were behind the entrance, I still had a blast. Just being in the atmosphere was amazing and electric. First match was Kevin Owens vs Dean Ambrose and you could feel the animosity each wrestler had for each other as they stared down in the ring before getting into a brawl. Even from where I was sitting I could hear each chair shot, and I could hear the wood crack from the tables. They went through chairs, they went through kendo sticks, and it all culminated with Owens going through 2 tables stacked on top of each other. Next match was New Day, what more is there to say, really good promo skills, and probably the best big ending I have ever seen from Big E as he caught one of the Uso's in mid-air to his finisher. Next match was Del Rio vs Kalisto, crazy moves from Kalisto with a pretty good match. Next was Charlotte vs Becky Lynch, Becky being the underdog fought with all she had, but all she had still wasn't enough for the Dirtiest Player in the game, Ric Flair cheated and so goes the match to Charlotte. But the best moment was after the match when Sasha Banks the BO$$ came out and put Charlotte in her finisher the Banks Statement, telling her that its only a matter of time before the true champion is crowned. Next up was the Royal Rumble match, I could care less for Roman, as did the rest of the Orlando crowd. Without a doubt the best moment was when we saw the screen pop up with music that the crowd has never heard before, and when we saw the word "Phenomenal" pop up on the screen the crowd was roaring with A.J. Styles chants, I cant really put into words what the atmosphere was, you had to be there, the best word I can use to describe it is electric. Here is this guy who has been in the indies for well over a decade, never getting a chance at the big time with WWE, but finally his time has come, and what better way than to bring it than at the Royal Rumble, and take on the champion Roman Reigns. It was awesome, and made it all worth it. Sami Zayn also came out and the brawl between him and Owens was awesome, I could watch them have a feud forever. Brock Lesnar looked as intimidating if not more in person, he killed everyone in the ring. The crowd also gave a huge pop for Triple H who was number 30 in the Rumble. As seldom as he is seen in the ring in wrestling gear, it was awesome for me, who doesn't know how many times he is going to do this. The Rumble ultimately ended with Triple H coming out on top to a crowd who applauded him coming back into the ring. The last time I saw a WWE event in Orlando was at the old Amway Arena in 2000 when I was 12, and if you would have told me Triple H would be in the Royal Rumble in 2016 and come out WWE champion, I would not have believed you. It was an awesome time, and made me want to go back to a PPV as soon as possible.

Great view of the ring. The arena staff was more then helpful from finding my seat to being greeted at the ticket taker, which I had a conversation with because I was out of town and he asked if I was from LA. I was wearing a dodger hat so he asked. We exchanged stories and made the trip and experience here even better. As for the WWE they always put on a good show and did not disappoint at one of there big events of the year.

The pace was packed and the crowd was into every aspect of the night

I don't mind Triple H winning the belt, considering how many guys are out with injuries (Rollins, Cena, Cesaro, Orton). It was also great to see AJ Styles finally in WWE!

For the most part, Royal Rumble was a good show, I'll definitely remember it but the outcome was disappointing.

The event had the entire audience on their feet & chanting throughout the show! Whether the crowd cheered or booed the superstars or the action in the ring, the energy in the building was unbelievable!!

The Royal Rumble was AMAZING if you Smell what I'm COOKING

The WWE Royal Rumble event was awesome and one of my favorite Pay Per Views. The superstars did great, the fireworks were awesome and the matches were amazing. The Royal Rumble event is the major event in the WWE because it starts the road to Wrestlemania. Its the second best Pay Per View I been to, the best one was Wrestlemania 26 when it came to Glendale, Arizona. All the wrestlers did great and the writers know how to set up good and fun matches at the Pay Per View, if only they did that on the other shows, But overall the event was great and I highly recommend the event to all WWE fans when it comes to their state.

I always get floor seats next to the wrestlers rundown isle for my son. When I get to the venue they switched our seats and the rows where screwed up, and I missed half of the matches trying to get the seats situated, and my son was very upset and crying because he was not able to see and high five his favorite wrestlers. As an United States Navy Veteran that made me mad because my son was upset and that was a thousand dollars down the drain!

Best live event. My first one and it was amazing. If they would come down to San Antonio again we would be the first to buy tickets..

This was my first live ppv. It was great seeing the undertaker.

The matches I saw were great. Problem was with seating. We got to arena to find out our seats were blocked off in upper level. After missing the first 3 matches were moved down to lower level, only to find out it was obstructed view behind cameras that were filming.

The show was awesome. However the missing star is do to the venue. There was a great lack of organization for the lines outside, there were not nearly enough members of the staff guiding and organizing, either outside or inside. The show on the other hand was phenomenal.

The Whole Show Was Awesome! The Show Was Beyond 5 Star, It Was A Perfect 10!

The show was great. Matches were great. Having it in avenue that big needed more screens than what they had. The concession lines were horrible. Not enough aisle vendors.

I purchased these tickets last minute for my boyfriend. We were in section 318. When we arrived to the alamodome, for some reason our section was blocked off by a curtain and pinned down(making it completely dark and very hard to see below). I wasn't sure what was going on and I saw lines of people near the concession are but didn't think to ask what was going on. We forced our way into our seats but after about thirty minutes i saw people(who also forced their way in) little by little leaving. I myself am not that into wrestling, so i let my boyfriend continue watching(or at least try to) while i went to see what was going on. So apparently WWE wanted my section and several others blocked off for "media reasons" and people were in line to be reassigned seats. Well geez, i wish i would have know earlier, as i would have waited in line earlier. After about an additional 60 minutes, it was my turn to get reassigned seats. We ended up getting floor seat at no additional cost.(AWESOME). The down fall was that I missed half of the show. But we still got to see the main wrestling match in an amazing section.

This event is one you must go see once in your lifetime. Great places like this bring back great memories.

This was an awesome show, I was so glad that it came to San Antonio!! This was the next best thing to wrestlmania, the show was incredible with stellar performances!

This event was awesome from beginning to end. The matches only got better and better as the night went along. I've been to numerous events, but this is one that I'll remember.

The event drew a flat note with me and most of those in attendance. The royal rumble event, while something you don't see everyday, was not as entertaining as the people you paid to see were not in it this year. Not enough of the greats returned as in the past. The family in front of me got up and left as the 30th participant was not who they thought it was. The night ended with the crowd loudly booing the winner, Batista. All in all, something that was not special. An avid WWE fan, like myself, has seen the matches/outcomes before. Most fans want to see new matches/rivalries.

Royal Rumble has been a disappointment in the past 4 years. Why is WWE throwing Roman Reigns down our throats? This was my first Royal Rumble experience and I have to say that overall it was fair. The ONLY epic match was Cena vs. Styles. Royal Rumble itself was disappointing. We do not want to see Roman Reigns win, we do not want to see Randy Orton win, etc. There was only one surprise entrance. I want to see WWE push someone new that deserves it like Bray Wyatt. This is exactly the reason why I did not purchase tickets to Survivor Series which is in Houston. I do not want to be disappointed again.

I drove 4 hrs, walked 5 blocks, and went up three floors up in boots and I'll do it again if I had to, I had an amazing time enjoyed every minute of it, ours seats were perfect right in the middle no trouble finding them no moving around. I can't wait for my next experience at the dome!!! Thank you

The Royal Rumble was a great event but the service at the Alamo Dome is what caused me to give 4 instead of 5 stars.

Overall the Royal Rumble was a great event! My wife bought these tickets for me and I was overwhelmed with excitement! It has always been my favorite professional wrestling PPV event!

The rumble event was great. I attended 20 years ago when I was a kid and now got to bring my boys. Was a cool experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better fan experience at the Royal Rumble in Pittsburgh. Fans were very involved and had no qualms about voicing their opinions. The wrestlers came out and do what they do best; work hard and put on a great show. My frustration with the event was the direction that the company has taken regarding storylines. The higher ups have their own agenda and certainly are not thinking about the fans and the talent. It's very disheartening to see a wrestler return after years of absence and not work his way up through the ranks but instead be handed a spotlight opportunity. As a longtime fan, I want to see the indviduals I admire each week because of their skills, connection with the crowd and all around amazing presence; such as CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, just to name a few. When this doesn't occur it decreases my desire to want to continue watching, purchasing tickets, and being a fan at all. I recommend this event based on the ambiance and the hard work shown by the wrestlers, not the outcome of the matches.

My friend and I flew from AK to see the royal rumble and they did not disappoint. However the staff at the Alamo dome were very misguided with questions we had there. That is the only reason I gave them 3 stars. So WWE was great and the staff at the alamodome needs a lot of training.

WWE Pay-Per-Views never disappoint. The wrestlers always put on their best even if you are not satisfied with the outcome of the match. Unfortunately the best match was the second match (Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt). The remaining matches were good, but couldn't exceed the action of Bryan vs. Wyatt.

Love the Royal Rumble! Great action, great wrestlers, loud crowd......

We had an incredible time this past weekend. The WWE always outdoes itself with its performances. The show was spectacular and everything I had expected from a Rumble. It kept up with my expectations from the previous events I attended like Wrestlemania 32 and other pay per views. Great atmosphere all around.

It was amazing the crowd was into it all night long.

Great performances. Even though we were a lt the very top of the Alamodome, the energy and the atmosphere was energetic and contagious.

Show was excellent throughout. Exciting matches and possible match of the year with cena and aj styles. The actual Rumble match was okay. Wish the #30 entrant was a show killer wish for different guyz

They blocked our section but we ended up having floor seats

This will be the last time I see a WWE event at a large stadium. Being there, in the atmosphere is the two stars. You get to hang out with fans and yell and chant. But because the WWE tries to pack in as many people as they can into a space, the experience of actually viewing the show sucks. If you're on the floor you don't see anything. The actual stadium seats are so far you spend most of the time looking at the big tv.

My seats were pretty nice, for the event the WWE had blocked off the seats in the section next to my seats for the pre-show with included Hacksaw Jim Dugan, Rick Flair and Shawn Michaels on a raised platform. While walking to my seats, I rubbed shoulder and was able to shake hands with all three superstars. Hacksaw was especially humble and watched the event from the platform and smiled and waved to the crowd. The vantage to the ring was not the best I have had, the club seats are definitely better, but the price was right for a PPV event. I find the seats/seating too small for my larger frame (280lbs) and felt compressed into my seat between other event goers. All and all, I and 2 friends had a great time.

Only real downfall was that doors should have opened earlier, but otherwise it was a great experience.
